Very bland pizza, sometimes totally burnt crust, sometimes cold toppings. Who knows what ya gonna get? That's what you get when everyone working is under 17 and throwing toppings at each other (Scottsville Rd location). And wear some gloves, people! Saw them pick up toppings from the floor with their bare hands after their little food fight, then make pizzas without cleaning their hands or putting on gloves. Gross. Unsanitary. Unhealthy. The pizza was alright but the place didn't seem very clean. The staff was super nice. The only issue is the cleanliness of the restaurant.

I've grew up eating Arni's Pizza. After living out of state for several years it's nice to return to what's familiar, such as Arni's - State ST location. The pizza is still good and an enjoyment each and every time. However, the customer service needs vast improvement. Generally, it's the customer service received over the phone that is lacking in a huge way - to the point where it leaves no desire to come back. Once I arrive to pick up my order the customer service is better. So maybe the employees don't work well under pressure when multi-tasking requires answering the phone and servicing its customers. I called the Paoli location the next time I craved Arni's and the experience, from A to Z, was much much better than its sister location down the street. Hopefully management or the owners will take heed and do something to teach its employees what quality customer service entails and talk about its importance in the service food industry. read more

Native New Albanians rave about Arni's. Must be a local nostalgia thing, because I don't get it. Crust was thin and crispy, but that is about the nicest thing I can say. The pizza generally lacked flavor. The toppings were so finely ground that they lost their integrity and everything blended together. As far as I can tell, their sauce was simply tomato paste. Too much ice in the drinks. Overall, I was left wanting more, and by more, I mean pizza from elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and go to NABC for your pizza. The wait is longer, but at least the pizza is tasty. I won't be back. Meh. read more

I would rate this place a zero if I could​ when I walked in the manager was sitting in the back on her phone with her headphones in and didn't even acknowledge me or the 3 people in front of me. I ordered a large deluxe without mushrooms. The manager with short, black hair told me it would be a 30-40 minute wait. I came back 40 minutes later to find out that my pizza hadn't even been made yet. So after a little over an hour, I finally received​ my pizza. I get in the car, open it up, and it is the wrong pizza with mushrooms all over. I went back into the store, and asked for a remake. The same manager told me it would be an additional 30 minute wait, so I left. This manager was very rude, immature, and should not hold the status of a manager position. I will not be returning. Dominos will be my go to from now on. read more

Waited almost an hour. When we finally got fed up and asked about our food they said they lost our ticket. We had already paid and had to wait another 20 minutes for our pizza. Terrible service. Maybe if they baked pizza instead of gossip about everyone in town they could keep up with the tickets. read more

Okay so I'm a New Albanian who has been eating Arni's for over 40 years. Don't know what is going on with this place, but they need to get their act together! Have all the experienced pizza makers left for better jobs without training the newbies on how to make a true Arni's Pizza? seriously, I brag on this place all the time to my out of town friends. I always order a deluxe pizza with extra cheese and paste. On my last SEVERAL visits I have experienced burnt pizzas with hardly no toppings that I paid for. I have resorted to opening the box and examining the pizza before I leave and more times than not they have to fix my order. When I called the man was rude. Then when we went to pick up our pizza my two year old son needed to use the restroom. We both asked several times to get the restroom key before finally being acknowledged by the workers directly in front of us. When we had called to order the pizza they said all they had was peronal pan small and large. So we expected the small to be a bit bigger than it was. After seeing that the pizza we ordered was not big enough to feed everyone we asked for our money back. The man was unprofessional and mocking my wife by saying " a personal is a personal right? A small is a small right? A large is a large." Someone asked what was wrong and he said " she thought a small was a large." After all that she finally got her money back. Had Arni's for the first time on a recent trip back home. The pizza was ok, nothing special. The pizza is very similar to PIzza King but I prefer Pizza King over Arni's. Next time I'm back home and want pizza I will stick to Pizza King. read more

They have a good pizza compare to some of these other pizza restaurants in New Albany. If you like thin crust pizzas, this is a good place to get them to go. I agree with Mike, I would not dine in there either. =) read more

They are really bad about answering their phone. Sometimes it can ring 20+ times. On Sunday's it is even worse. They open at noon on Sunday and I have been calling from 1:30 and it is now 2pm. We give up on having Arnie's for lunch. read more

My sister and I ordered a 14" and it was given to us burnt. After driving back to returned the pizza, we asked for a new one. The new pizza had one of its toppings turn from an onion to a mushroom, or they put mushrooms on it instead of onions that we ordered. We tried to eat most of the pizza but about half way through we could no longer ignore the soft, doughy under cooked pizza. We didn't feel like driving back again, so chalked this experience up to one of those things. My sister said she has been going here for decades and this has never happen to her. The pizza was bland and the pepperoni and sausage had very little flavor. Maybe they should switch from pork sausage to Italian sausage. And buy better pepperoni. Personally, I will never eat here again. I just seen a picture of a burnt pizza on Arni's page. I didn't remember taking a pic of mine and posting it. I don't understand why this burnt pizza was not caught before it was giving to us. After we seen the burnt bottom, then we noticed how dry it looked on top. If there are this many cases of burnt pizza, then why aren't they more diligent in catching this problem before giving the pizza to the customer? read more

When I was little it was always a special treat to go get pizza at Arni's. I'm 38 years old and it's still a great treat to go there. When I want a good pizza I come all the way from valley station Louisville to Arni's to get it. Alot of others have tried to make pizza like theirs and no one can even come close!!! We just moved to New Albany, IN and had a taste for pizza. After searching for about 20 minutes we came to Arni's. Despite the bad reviews we thought it was good. If you don't want thick crust, toppings falling off, uncooked, or soggy pizza this is your place. The prices weren't bad either. The 10" will definitely feed one person. When you go be sure to get the garlic pepper sprinkled on top of your pizza. It takes it to new heights. Definitely would recommend. The have sandwiches as well and the next time were in the mood for it, we'll get it from Arni's. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. It's also cool to see that they fix their pizzas in a pizza stone oven. Now that's throwback!! read more

I frequent this place mostly M-F for lunch. The pizza is very good. Never had any problems. I went there Sun night and ordered a 7". When I opened the box to inspect it, it was burnt and did not look like Arni's pizza at all! Plus I had waited nearly 25 minutes for it. Imagine the disappointment I felt ... UNTIL ... the Manager agreed to fix me another one (he even offered to let me take the burnt one too, but of course, I didn't want it). When it's done, the Manager personally brings it to me and apologizes for my wait. It's an extra large and it's beautifully and perfectly prepared. I was shocked! I've said all that to say this ... Arni's has the best tasting pizza and they aim to please. Order the deluxe, extra large and you won't be disappointed !!!! read more
