i've tried many acai bowls and this one would definitely be in my top 5! the fruit was very fresh and the acai base was very tasty. it wasnt melted at all like other businesses i've got acai bases from. the OC acai bowl came with everything I want in a bowl. strawberries, bananas, blueberries, granola, honey, and with chia seeds. the guy taking and making my order was very nice and polite! It is a bit hidden -- tucked away in a parking lot in-between a car wash and Chevron. I am still not sure the name of this place. It appears it used to be called Limoncello, Yelp and Google now say Aroma, but the when you are there you will notice there is no signage or logo lol. Just a blue awning. I love getting their jalapeño bagel with plain cream cheese for $3.95 (a bagel with cream cheese is not on the menu board, so you have to ask for it). The bagel comes out so warm and fresh. I am serious when I say it is up there with one of best bagels I've ever had. Yep -- from this random gas station cafe. It's true! You can order at the window outside or go inside. Customer service is always friendly. There is usually the same older gentleman working the outside window and he is super helpful and nice. I believe he told me one time they source their bagels from a wholesale company in Irvine? And they are freshly baked and delivered. The drinks here are also good. I would not recommend the breakfast burrito. It was a bit sad and something a college kid would whip up in his dorm. But the bagels?! They are top-notch. Limoncello is a wonderful little neighborhood cafe hidden behind a Chevron gas station. The interior of the cafe has two separate areas where you may order your menu items. The cafe is exceptionally clean with beautiful paintings, decorating the walls. Upon entering Limoncello, we were greeted by Tony. Tony is very nice and friendly. We learned that he and Giovanni, once worked at Caneletto in Fashion Island, before they had closed. I enjoy dropping by here for breakfast. The coffee here is excellent! I was craving the Pollo pesto sandwich and drove to Limoncello. The board menu had a new look. I inquired about the Pollo pesto and was told they no longer use the sourdough bread but switched to regular bread. The size is smaller compared to the sourdough bread, and the price is the same. Using the regular bread, it came out faster since they didn't need to press the sourdough. It was still delicious but I did like it on the sourdough bread much better. read more

The folks here are very friendly and personable, providing great customer service (engaging in politely humorous conversation and delivering my latte to me as I sat at one of the indoor tables). The latte had distinct flavors of honey, vanilla, and coffee. The buttery-flakey croissant was warm, soft, and fresh just as a perfect croissant should be. Stopped by to get gas and saw this cute cafe. First impression: CLEAN and enough tables if you want to eat there. We just wanted to put something in our stomachs and we split the Italiano sandwich. BOY I wish we had our own sandwich because it was AMAZING!! The perfect amount of meat and cheese, the sweet banana peppers, the fresh arugula and hint of balsamic dressing made this one of my favorite all time sandwiches!!! And the amazing customer service. I was a little disappointed when I saw it was connected to a car wash and convenience store but I was 100% committed. They had lots of menus and ordering options available. There was a little ordering window outside that you can place your orders. Outside seating too. The inside was a dichotomy of convenience store meets bright and cheerful Italy. Very clean. I ordered the protein bowl. Cost was $10.75. It had tomatoes, avocados, eggs, turkey , mozzarella and cucumbers. My tomatoes and cucumbers were a little on the too ripe side but everything else was really fresh. I didn't feel quite satisfied and the owner/worker approached me and asked me if I had any questions. I was thinking about stopping at Starbucks and getting a Chai latte. After talking to the owner and hearing his hopes and dreams of opening up an upper scale restaurant I decided to try a chai latte. Yum so good ! Don't let the location fool you. An Orange County hidden gem. My wife and I have come here multiple times after morning walks at Irvine Regional, and each time, it's been incredible. We normally order the Horchata lattes iced with oat milk, and they are probably the best in OC. The avocado toast is insanely delicious, and the ingredients are super fresh. So my hair stylist moved to a salon in this strip mall. After I got my hair done, I figured I'd get a latte somewhere. I didn't see the coffee shop next to the salon but right across, at the gas station, this blue awning with the word cafe in bright yellow print caught my eye. So I'm like what is that?
