I was invited here by a friend and she raved at how good their veggie pizza was. I never had broccoli on a pizza so Aron's did not disappoint. All the ingredients were fresh and the business gave "mom and pop". The waitress was super sweet and they had several pickup orders while we dined it. The dining area can use a little renovating but I will say it doesn't take away from the authentic taste of the pizza. The food came out promptly and we even took pizza to go. Went with the wife tonight food was amazing. Had garlic knots they were great and dipping sauce was really good and came out to the table hot. They have beer and wine!!! Also order pepperoni pizza also really good!!! Small dining area very quaint inside, wish music or something was playing but other than that it's was really nice and extremely clean! Grabbed a carry out pie. The lady behind the counter was super nice on the phone and even when I got in the time she recommended to pick it up. The location is kinda small but it's seat yourself and the food I saw on the tables looked great. I was here just to grab a large pizza for the family. They showed me the pizza for my approval before taking off. The pizza was great as far a as flavor and and the toppings were evenly spread. This was my first visit to Aaron's. My grandson and I had gotten rained out at the zoo and decided to go see a movie. Both were hungry. I did a Yelp search for the best pizza in Orange Park and up came Aron's Pizza. We ordered a medium cheese pizza with light sauce and light(amount wise) pepperoni. Our server was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The pizza came out perfectly fine with the cheese slightly brown just as I like it. The crust was flavorful, thin, crispy and chewy, as good as it gets! The sauce was very good as were the cheese( I would guess a nice blend of high quality Mozzarella and Provolone) and pepperoni. Aron's used to be really good. The pizza was top notch and the service was fast and friendly making this one of our weekly lunch stops. Over the past few weeks, the pizza has become very hit or miss, mostly taking on the characteristics of a saltine cracker. Not the foldable slices of the past. The service has also gone down since some staff changes. It's very slow, and some items are forgotten. Unfortunately these changes have dropped them off the lunch list. I really enjoy Aron's Pizza. I have been going for a while now and am always pleased. Aron's is very unassuming from the outside. It kind of looks a little like an outpost or store, not a really yummy restaurant. I will say, over the years I have gotten the food delivered by Arons, by a third party and I have picked up. I have never actually eaten inside the restaurant and that is not for any particular reason, I just haven't happened to eat inside. The food is great. It has all of the basics of a pizza joint except they have really great pasta dishes, good bread and great salad. I personally love their chicken parmesan with their rosatta sauce (kind of like a vodka sauce) instead of marinara. It is great. The chicken is always nice and thin and has never had a piece of fat. The breading is great and it is covered in plenty of cheese. The eggplant parm is also good. We have also gotten the spaghetti and meat sauce and meatballs. Their pizza is also really great. The crust is soft yet thin and their toppings are great. The calzone is definitely enough for a meal. I love the cheese calzone most and even just their cheese pizza. Their good is simple and incredibly tasty. You can tell they take care in what they make. The servers are always nice and friendly. The restaurant looks clean inside and their delivery is great. I will continue visiting Aron's for as long as I live in the area because it truly is a really great community restaurant. There is plenty of parking on the side and behind the restaurant and there are about 15 tables inside as wells as some seating outside. Aron's Pizza is...fine. I was craving a calzone of all things and my restaurant of choice was closed so I decided to give this place a shot. I ordered an eggplant and sausage calzone and an order (6) of garlic knots. The calzone was being pulled from the oven just as I arrived exactly 20 minutes later, right on cue for how long the girl on the phone said it would take. When I got home and opened the box, it was clear that it probably could have used a few more minutes as the outside was pretty pale. I dunno, maybe I should have ordered it well-done? The calzone tasted pretty good. The eggplant within was absolutely delicious, but I honestly detected zero sausage at all. I'm not even sure they put any in it. The marinara sauce accompanying both the calzone and the garlic knots was good; perfect thickness, and not too sweet. The garlic knots weren't terribly good. They were dry, a bit hard, and had little garlic flavor. They also came swimming in a pool of oil which made them unpleasant to eat, overall. Price-wise, I think Aron's is fine, and I'd probably try their calzone again but ask for it well-done. Based solely off of how delicious the eggplant was I have no doubt they offer some diamonds in the rough, but it might just take a little searching. read more

We reached out to this location while staying at the Hilton. Incredibly quick service, and reasonably priced. Driver made a quick courtesy call when he arrived. Extremely convenient. I have to admit this was some of the tastiest pizza I've encountered in recent memory. This used to be delicious pizza. I don't know what happened but the pizza is awful now, and has been for months, but I kept going back hoping for better. The pizza must be pre-made with no sauce (or it's all dried up?), then the toppings are added. The pizza is hard, worse than a frozen pizza, and no longer has flavor. It's over cooked and crunchy. I never liked Pizza Hut's thin crust pizza but this is worse. I cannot figure out the mystery of the pizza having no sauce other than it being premade and the sauce was absorbed. I always have to ask for sauce on the side to dip it. I asked for extra sauce on the pizza and was told that it couldn't be done (which further supports my theory that the pizzas are pre-made frozen pizzas. Why else couldn't extra sauce, which would be "normal" sauce elsewhere, be added). I now understand why the restaurant has no pizza aromas in the air. I can heat up my own frozen pizza at home. I used to love coming here but won't be coming back unless maybe I try a sandwich or calzone, but the pizza is terrible. I kept coming back every week hoping it would improve. What sealed the deal was when my mushroom and ground beef slice was cold. The mushrooms and beef were cold from coming out of a refrigerator or freezer. The server replaced it, but the pizza wasn't good. I boxed it up to take with me. I posted a pic of it and you can clearly see how thin it is with no sauce and dried up cheese. I'll give it two stars because the server is really nice, (otherwise it would be one star) and it's not her fault that the pizza no longer is good. We walked in 45+ mins till they closed and we were ordering to go, which may sound shitty but I at least tip really well. Anyways the 2 cracked out waitresses start with not acknowledging us, just looking at us and and then giving each other "the look" and then we asked if the kitchen was still open. They said "we close in 30 minutes", which I totally get it they don't want to cook more food but we were going to order something simple (pasta). So they said "oh we had a really long day, ugh it was so rough, I'm so tapped out I'm just ready to go", and they kept making comments so I said "OK we got the hint, we're leaving". I started walking towards the door and the girl says "oh you're just gonna walk away"? as if you weren't complaining the entire time we were looking at the menu. We have ordered from Aron's and usually are pleased. I had it delivered and of the three dinners ordered only one was good the shrimp fettuccine. It was up to the high standard we expect from Aron's. My meatball sub was all bread with the three meatballs cut in half. My daughter's chicken parmigiana the small piece chicken was burned!! So I don't mind paying a lot of money and then having it delivered but it will be the last time I order anything from Aron's which does make me sad. read more

Let start off by saying the pizza they serve is great and I don't have any complaints with that other than them maybe skipping out a little bit on the toppings. But the reason I am writing a review today is because I just paid for a 9$ platter of calamari and the amount given was laughable. Not at all matching what I paid for. Half way through writing this review I took another glance at the platter and dropped it from 3 stars to 2. UPDATE: just finished writing the first review and finally was able to take a bite of the most soggiest rubberband tasting thing in my life. Lived in Orange Park for 20 years now, recently decided to try Aron's Pizza. Immediately reminds you of a "hole in the wall" joint from NY. The smells...pure joy authentic HOME COOKED ITALIAN!! We pretty much go there once a week now. The pizza is perfect! Thin crust excellent sauce and GREAT toppings! Being from the Bronx; that's a big compliment! The sausage & peppers that he makes are THE BEST I've had since being up north! All of their entrees are delicious!! From the Fettuccini Alfredo, (with chicken or shrimp) to the Veal Scalopini! Their subs are FRESH, and the salads are better than most more formal restaurants. The staff is VERY friendly and so attentive! If you haven't tried Aron's Pizza you ARE missing out!
