I paid a little more than $50 for this crap. I ordered online and sent my son to pick it up. He drove approximately 40 mins EACH way. I'm from Chicago. I know Chicago pizza. It is truly offensive they even claim to be authentic Chicago pizza. I ordered: 14" Chicago Style with sausage, pepperoni and extra banana peppers and a garden salad with grilled chicken. This is a joke. There were about 2 pieces of banana pepper on the entire pizza. This salad is a joke! The bag and container was stapled closed. I was charged for grilled chicken I didn't get. There's a little more than a handful of greens. The cucumbers were old and withered looking. Such a waste! I pizza from this Rosati's years ago - maybe preCovid. It was ok but this is TRASH! We had it DoorDashed but we had a large pepperoni, a large Deluxe, cheese bread and fried Cheese sticks. It did take a while but it was 5 o'clock on Blanding!!! But it was delicious and definitely worth the wait. read more

The last three times I ordered from this restaurant, they did not have sweet peppers--which are indispensable on an Italian beef. The first time, I gave my plain beef sandwich away. Ordered online, the pizza and mushrooms were supposed to be delivered at 5:45pm, got a call at 5:49pm saying they didn't have a driver and their door dash wasn't working and they were real busy, no shit your busy it's FRIDAY and should be staffed appropriately. Rosati's Pizza brings a taste of Chicago to the Sunshine State. There are several locations of Rosati Pizza here in Florida and I have tried the one in Orlando, but this was my first time at this location in Jacksonville. This particular Rosati's Pizza has the typical pizzeria vibe and the staff was overall friendly. I went with one of their deep dish pizzas. For Florida, I will say that this deep dish pizza is very good. I am sure that there is better deep dish pizzas in Chicago, but to paraphrase Dorothy in the classic movie "The Wizard of Oz" as she said to Toto, "we ain't in Chicago anymore." Yeah, I know Doeothy was from Kansas, but you get the general idea. Rosati's Pizza is a great place to get a taste of Chicago, Illinois here in Jacksonville, Florida. I was on my way to Salsas until I saw this this little storefront. I went in expecting a "grab-n-go" slice of pizza. I received exactly that - an inexpensive, flavorful, elevated version of a NY street vendor pizza by the slice. And, oh boy was my slice of sausage pizza one heck of a cheesy snack. The small store front was definitely not the typical dine in pizzeria. But, was noticeably clean. The staff attempted to be friendly but, you can tell they barely wanted communicate with their customers. Hence the training that took place while I placed my order, I assumed this restaurant was fairly new, in a new location, or I've never noticed it until today. Overall much better than my last experience. The thin crust was almost perfect. The deep dish was lacking. Born and raised in Chicago I have high hopes when I see rosati's pizza. This was thin, lacking flavor and cheese. It was basically a double dough crust with extra cheese. Not a Chicago Stuffed or Deep dish. Placed an order for pickup tonight since my wife and I did not want to cook. I placed an order via phone for a 16 inch thin crust cheese pizza and 16 inch thin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza. Price of $44 felt a little high but I really wanted a thin crust pizza. I was told my order would be available in 45 minutes. When I arrived, my order was ready and the staff were polite and nice to deal with. On visual inspection, everything looked the way it should. When I got the pizza home, we dove right in and everyone enjoyed the pizza. The crust was a little more chewy than I expected for a thin crust but overall we enjoyed the pizza. The two pizzas fed 5 but there were not a lot of leftovers. Not a bad option for carry out but you may want to check for a deal or coupon before ordering. read more

I heard there was a place here that had Chicago pizza & my interest was sparked. It's been a few years now since the debacle that was Chicago Pizza at the Landing so I felt that I had healed enough from that trauma to try a new spot here. This place was GOOD!! The customer service is iffy. It was a Saturday night & the youngsters working were too wrapped up in their convos to care but anyway the food. I love a good Chicago hand tossed pizza. This was giving me Home Run Inn vibes and I loved it. It was baked to perfection, the meats were fresh and plentiful & I loved the sauce. It was so good! The wings were just ok. They were a little salty but I would definitely get them again. I didn't try the deep dish but I bragged on this place so much a friend from Chicago when and tried it. He didn't have the best review of the deep dish but I will wait till I try it for myself till I say anything. Until then I'm throwing all my Pizza Hut coupons away and going here. read more

I'm originally from the chicago land area and would always get Rosati's growing up! This place did an awesome job and it was pretty nostalgic for me! I'm not a huge fan of the chicago deep dish because there is too much sauce but their thin crust is really good!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered green peppers with my pepperoni pizza and Rosati's normally places their toppings under the cheese and it made the peppers a little sauggy. There were 5 other customers inside very upset about the wait. It was 7pm and one guy had been waiting since 5:30.pm The main worker barely spoke english and was very hard to understand. The female worker was highly intoxicated and couldn't count back $45 in ones. She looked completely disheveled and out of it. I'm going to give them a solid 3 because I feel that I must have caught them on a bad day. I was hoping to have a slice of Chicago style thin pizza one afternoon while killing time. Well, I learned the hard way, like so many others, this is only really a takeout/pickup joint. When trying pizza for the first time, I would rather have the opportunity to sit down and eat it right then and there. While they did offer slices, the boxed slice tasted like it was a prefab Sysco crust. It was chewy but not crispy. I was hungry, so it did what it needed to do, but it didn't make me want to come back. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Manager 'Ryan' did not want to talk to a customer on the phone because I was given the wrong food. They don't understand the value of customer service in the food industry. You provided me the wrong food and I or any of the 6 others could have been allergic to Green Pepper when I ordered Green OLIVE. olive and pepper are two different produces and don't understand how they don't get the order right. Secondly, ordered a large pep / sausage and a small cheese. Poor young lady at the front desk was trying to be polite and was great. The manager advised me that I had to drive another 40 minutes for the correct food when they weren't going to provide me anything for the now 80 minutes on the road for the correct meal and claimed I had to return the green pepper to get money back. I'm not arguing your policy. I'm arguing your quality of service and the manager Ryan is a horrible manager for this franchisee. Bobby, the other person I spoke to because all they did was transfer me to a random person. Well Bobby stated that he was going to review the cameras and phone call. I'm upset that I wasted $65 on a horrible pizza from a horrible franchise location that doesn't care about possibly killing someone. - I would love my $65 back and I'll never ever eat at your location again and leave a review on every platform for the sh!t service I was given. The pizza was ok. It had a pretty good flavor, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was looking forward to trying the pizza but it didn't live up to what I hyped it up to be in m mind. It was a pizza for my kids and I so I ordered a pepperoni pizza. So maybe some of their specialties are better. I was intrigued by the deep dish but had to get something I knew my kids would eat. We got thin crust. It was a crispy crust the sauce was good just seemed like either the cheese was a little well done or maybe it wasn't hot.
