She had a particularly gnarly cough that honey alone wasnt helping. I read about marshmallow root being good for sore throats and coughs and decided to stop in for the dried root as well as a tincture in case the tea was rejected. I also have been suffering from migraines with the change of weather and picked up some peppermint oil. The marshmallow root tea was tasty to me but my little hated it. I opted for the tincture in some juice and it helped break up her cough. Will def be back to explore some other natural remedies... in the mean time I will be experimenting with marshmallow root to make medicinal marshmallows.
