We were long time patrons of their Scottsdale location (Prestons) and like so many, we were so disappointed they closed that location due to circumstances beyond their control. Went for a birthday. The appetizers were amazing. Got the tomahawk steak, bass fish, and rack of lamb. Everything was prepared perfectly. The tomahawk steak was absolutely phenomenal. Service was amazing. We had a great waitress.If I had one negative thing to say it would be that they charge you 60 dollars to 100 dollars for wine that cost 10 to 30 dollars at total wine. I had the fresh salmon with Parmesan crust and it was some of the best salmon I've ever had! The Mac n cheese, mushrooms, and potato au gratin was mouth watering. Was able to sneak up here for happy hour last night. This place is always a favorite as if we can get here early enough and sit on patio or bar we can totally afford it with the amazing prices for happy hour. Ordered and split a burger sandwich and fries. However the burger was overcooked and the sandwich was a little dry but it's still such quality we always enjoy it. The GM(didn't know it at the time) came around asking how everything was and we were honest. He was persistent that always let them know so they can make it exactly how you want it right away. We explained that we weren't looking to waste or complain as it's still delicious just being honest. They were so gracious and kind and we though rarely order dessert sent us home with their signature butter cake and ice cream on the house. Truly a gem on the west side that if you aren't from the area you may never think to go to because of its location. Arrowhead Grill may not be a big name like Ruth's Chris or Morton's but its service and food (IMO) are way above these two. Environment, albeit crowded, was intimate, service was impeccable, food was simply amazing. I wanted the rack of lamb, I asked the server if she could convey my request to the chef to skip all the regular prep for the rack of lamb and do it the "Greek way", just run with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and oregano. No sweat! The chef honored my request and I truly appreciated that. Wine list was stupendous, overall, I had a fantastic meal, terrific service, worth every penny. First off I have to start by saying my filet was absolutely delicious. Also, they have a very good wine selection. I am also very impressed by the service. So why don't I give it five stars? The place is very dated. This should be a white tablecloth type of place for the price you pay. The tables and the booths are old and need to be updated and the overall ambience isn't enough for a five star rating. They could give it a refresh and an update. We celebrated our anniversary at the Arrowhead Grill. The service was amazing and the food was even better. We started off with crab cakes and had Chilean Sea Bass for our main entree. We finished our meal with champagne and butter cake to celebrate our special occasion. The restaurant was absolutely packed but that didn't detract from great service. I have to say, I've come to the arrowhead grill quite a few times now and while this may be a one off experience it needs to be talked about. Right off the bat i noticed the place was packed (likely due to it being restaurant week) however this should be no excuse for the food that was produced. I my brother and sister all ordered the $55 appetizers, steak, side, and dessert. First things first, the bread that came out was not only dry as horse feed but was most definitely reheated. The appetizer I chose was the meatballs and they were decent but nothing to rave about, matter of fact it reminded me of a hungry man's salisbury steak so take that as one will. Next was the 8oz New York strip steak. I my brother and sister all ordered it medium and they all came out WELL DONE. I'm talking gray and gray all the way through as if a kid was coloring in a cement sidewalk. It should also be noted that we received the steaks after an hour of being there (sat outside as well). This was followed by a manager visit and the steaks being remade in which they came back 20 minutes later and RAW as well as 2oz of FATTY CAP (see picture below). The manager claimed this is a problem with the lighting inside that's been the same for 10y (WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN FIXED IN 10y!) he also mentioned the lighting outside makes the steak look different which I won't disagree with to some extent. The broccoli side was decent and the butter cake was okay though the chocolate sauce on it needs to go. We didn't leave until almost 2h later and it was not a good 2h. The manager did comp roughly 50% of the bill but if I'm being honest for wasting 2h of our time and barely getting to eat should be a crime and 100% of the meal comped. read more

I eat at the Arrowhead Grill a few times a year, but I've never been there for Thanksgiving. The meal was amazing. They featured a special Thanksgiving menu for $69.99 per person. Dessert was an additional $7.99. I had the butternut squash soup, Caesar salad, sea bass, AG mashed potatoes and butter cake for dessert. The age, old truth of "you never know what type of day someone is having" is so true. My husband and I got called in earlier for an emergency that took up most of our day, and we came here to blow off some steam and eat after hours of being at the hospital helping out. The hostess went to the bar and personally found us a spot to sit, and the place was super busy, so that was extra special. The bar servers Ben and KC made us some amazing drinks. Both were clearly talented and care about presentation. The meal we each had was perfect! My lamb was flavorful and cook to order. Hubby's steak was perfect as well.
