I picked up pad ba mee with tofu and medium spice on 3/16. I got home and put it in the fridge to eat later. When I heated it up, I noticed how dry the noodles looked. When I took my first bite, there was no flavor at all, let alone spice. The noodles were so dry they were a little crunchy. I've had this dish at this restaurant several times prior and it was always good. I ate about two bites of it and put it away. I called the restaurant the next day to ask if I could come by and get a replacement, explaining what happened - and even offered to bring the dish with me so they could see for themselves. They asked me "Why did you wait a day? Why didn't you come back yesterday?" Really? No "I'm sorry that happened". They then began to explain to me that pad ba mee is not "wet" as if I didn't know what the dish was. I explained again I had it several times before and this time it was not good and had no sauce or taste at all. They refused to make another one for me; they said I could pick up another one right away for 50% off. Really? I have never complained or had any issues with their food, and they felt it was ok to question me for not coming back to the store immediately after I got home and tasted the dish. I have been to Arroy Thai twice now and each time I do like it a lot. I do not live in Wesley Chapel but my brother's family does and we like Thai a lot. We recently ordered Pad Thai with chicken and spring rolls. The location is very nice, it is in a strip center and has a nice larger shared lot for everyone to be able to park their cars. When you go inside you they have a pretty small dining room, but also a nice take out counter. I have tried the Pad Thai twice and it is very good. It has a lot of flavor and it is large enough you can share it. I bought 1 pad Thai and 3 people shared it so it was plenty of food. The spring rolls were a little overdone. You get 4 spring rolls per order. This place is a tad bit expensive, but it taste really good. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

Damn, these crab rangoons have their own distinctive and unique flavor profiles! They got some curry essence in it and I love it! The place is small and quaint and extremely laidback. The drinks are HUGE! The best part is that the dishes aren't too small for portion wise and you will get filled up very well with a satisfaction! I ordered the chicken drunken noodle and Thai iced coffee. Man the noodles are great, but a tad of greasy. However, it isn't an issue for me at all. They have a free wi-fi with the password and you can enjoy your meal and surf on your smartphone. The service is alright, but it is not your typical fine dining Thai restaurant. It is a small joint with a lot of great dishes. The prices aren't SEVERE unlike other places that I had been to from my first visitation to Florida. We ordered food from them and the ordered had meal had eggs and we specifically asked for no eggs, and they added eggs. When we called they proceeded to argue with us and asked for us to bring the food back. The manager said it didn't have egg in it that it was chicken. I showed him the top of the container where it said vegetables- no egg or chicken. He then said ok, and said it would be a few days before we were refunded. Terrible customer service. They looked at me like I was asking for a bomb when I said I wanted just plain chicken and rice. Charged me a lot for that and then the kid hands me my bag to go. I ask for sauce, he comes back with a ramekin of sauce w the lid off that he touches all inside of then rings me up like sauce is .60... i leave it because that's crazy and this kid did not look like he washed his hands and I had to ask for silverware! I keep seeing high reviews of this restaurant, so I was really hopeful, but it just wasn't my experience. First of all, I was really disappointed with the interior of the restaurant. Shabby decorations and two dining room tables encumbered with their stuff. I ordered Mussaman Curry, my go-to Thai dish. The sauce was incredibly runny and I noticed there were no potatoes in it, a staple ingredient for the dish. When I asked about it, I was told they were out of potatoes. I said it would have been nice to know that when ordering, and was told she had "forgotten". No apologies, an off-handed offer to get me something else, no money off the bill. Also, during peak time, the cook got behind, causing food delivery drivers to stack up and to anxiously accumulate 5-6 deep at the front of the restaurant as the proprietor loudly called out names like a deli. I wouldn't care to go back, but my husband liked his tropical rice, so I'm guessing we'll at least have to order delivery from them again. I will NOT be going back to the restaurant. read more

Best Thai in Tampa! My husband and I LOVE Thai food, but that also makes us SUPER picky! We recently just moved to Wesley Chapel from California and love visiting Thailand! With that being said we were worried we would have a hard time finding great Thai food in Florida. Arroy Thai is fresh, authentic and full of flavor! We ordered one Pad Thai and two orders of the Red Curry, both 'hot,' with (2) extra sides of white rice, as we were unsure the portion size. It was so much food! We definitely could have gone with one Red Curry and one Pad Thai with no extra white rice for the both of us to share and still had lunch for tomorrow! So don't fret on the portions, they are perfect! The hot was definitely hot! We love hot everything, so we're definitely happy we picked hot! It was the hot we love! Hot is Hot! Tons of flavor and all the veggies were super fresh. Chicken in both the curry and pad Thai was excellent and not dry. We ordered for delivery and everything came in great condition with no leaks or spills, as they packaged it with care. I can't get over how amazing their flavor is! I hate doing this.... the food was delicious, as is always the case. If it was to go, solely, it would be 5 star. However, we chose to eat in. This is the second time and last time we will be eating in. We came in for a quick in and out food. The food came quickly. However, we waited to even get menus for 20 minutes, while both servers ran around to every and anybody else. Once food came out and our waiters once more refilled, they again disappeared. I had been waiting for a box, but it took another 20 minutes before we finally had to go to the desk to get one. This is the second time we've had troubles with the wait staff despite how amazing the food has been. We will be taking to go for the foreseeable future. read more

The food is always fresh and bursting with flavor. We like our food spicy so we find that food prepared with medium heat is perfect.

I hate to downgrade them because their staff is so friendly, but this is like the tenth time they've forgotten cashews in my Cashew Tofu. I don't know if they're trying to save money or something but it completely changes the dish and makes into a much more bland, uninteresting dish. I mean, cashew is literally in the name, it's not like they forgot celery in the dish and there was just slightly less volume of veggies, this is a critical element. I guess I'm losing my patience because I have to remind them by putting special instructions in the order to not forget cashews in my Cashew Tofu, and this last time my husband ordered and didn't put the special reminder, and they forgot. The other frustrating thing is that with any other restaurant the owners/employees would maybe refund the dish, offer a free dish the next time you came in, etc. they do none of that here. The most I've gotten is a little container full of cashews. Which, of course, is useless because the dish has them sautéed in the sauce. Let me first say that the food is amazing. I highly recommend the red curry. I could have drank it. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because we dined in. We got our appetizer before our drinks, silverware or plates. We waited a while for plates and silverware so the dumplings were cold. There were 5 of us. Two of us were served our meals. Then 5-7 minutes later the 3rd person was served. About 5 minutes after that, the 4th person was served. The 5th person waited another 10 minutes! The first 2 were done eating by then. The waiter was polite but you could tell that they dont get many dine-in customers. We will eat there again, but only take out. read more
