So so tasty! I almost forgot to take in the gorgeous scenery of the course :) Trust Kayla with anything she says to get!

My mistaken order! I forgot to photograph the correct order of B & G, country potatoes, and eggs O/E.

After my dental appt I decided to eat breakfast here. I craved SOS aka Sh** on a Shingle; otherwise known as creamed beef on toast. Well wouldn't you know it; they don't serve it anymore. With all the retired military vets here, I'm surprised. So I ordered the next best thing, biscuits and gravy. I haven't had coffee all morning so I ordered a cup. I was surprised when the server brought me coffee in a paper cup. I looked around and everyone else were drinking theirs in ceramic mugs. WTH! Something fishy is going on. The last time I came here after golf I ordered a beer. It was served to me in a plastic cup. I observed everyone else drinking theirs out of beer glasses. What is going on here. You can imagine what I was thinking. My food arrived a short time later, but it was the wrong order. I ordered B&G, eggs O/E, and country potatoes. The plate in front of me had scrambled eggs and hash browns along with B & G. The server brought out the correct order a couple minutes later. She claimed she had the wrong ticket. Luckily I didn't touch the meal. I did add pepper to the B & G however. Now to my breakfast. Ok! The biscuits were very dry. I think they're store bought. They appeared old and not freshly baked. My country potatoes were nothing more than deep fried potatoes thrown on the plate. There were no onions or peppers. I don't know if there is a new cook or not, but the black guy that used to be there could cook. Maybe that's who use to prepare the SOS!

I'm so happy we stopped in today! The food is some of the best in town. I highly recommend the Arroyo Pop-Over - great combination of flavors with just the right amount of punch with the chipotle sauce on top. The servers were very friendly but unfortunately we had to get up most of the time to get drinks and our check. Maybe it was an off day, we just felt forgotten about. But all in all, great food and greats views!

The service was good. The food was good. I happened to have visited this restaurant during a golf tournament unknowingly so it was very very busy. Not the restaurant in general but the parking lot was very full and people were everywhere. I suppose if you want a relaxing serene environment maybe call to make sure there isn't a golf tournament going on before you go. But if busy, busy is your thing then no need to worry about it. Maricopa in general doesn't have much to offer so for now it's a nice place to go if you're not wanting to commute out of the city. Maybe a nice place to take your visiting relatives. The prices seem average or slightly higher than average.

Always great service and consistently good food. I usually get the ribeye which is cooked perfectly med. rare as I like it. My wife has ordered a variety of different entrees, all of which have been very good. Servers are efficient and friendly. They often have specialty desserts, which are delicious.

The 15th Club - pretty good! And hubby got the cod

Loved this place! So beautiful and peaceful. Food was good and service was great. We will definitely be back

The ribs are absolutely to die for -- tender, flavorful, and definitely something I recommend trying. The sandwich portions are also worth mentioning. You get a generous amount of meat, making them a satisfying choice when you're looking for something hearty. One thing to keep in mind is the drinks. For the price, they tend to be a little light, so you may want to consider ordering a double. Otherwise, I'd simply go with a glass of champagne or a beer and enjoy the meal. Overall, Macintosh remains a place I'm happy to return to.

There was also a big soccer game that evening, so I think most people were out at watch parties. I ordered the Cardiff M. Co ahi tuna (salad), $30 and shoestring potatoes (fries), $9. The salad came with seared rare and blackened ahi tuna, avocado, cherry tomatoes, field greens, edamame, crunchy wasabi peas, sesame seeds, agave ponzu, and miso vinaigrette. The salad was wonderful, however, a big pricey. For $30, I would have liked more ahi tuna pieces. Mine only came with five small pieces. I love shoestring fries, and I really enjoyed theirs. They were nice and crispy. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout. The restaurant offers plenty of seating inside and out, and is great for groups.

Our server Jacob was excellent and very professional and friendly. He checked on us regularly and never left us waiting for service. We started with dirty martinis and they were prepared perfectly. Icy and filled to the rim. I ordered the Short Rib Potstickers $19- As an entree. Toasted sesame, cilantro, ponzu. Delicious. A good amount of short rib in each potsticker and plenty of sauce. My husband ordered the Blackened Sea bass Tacos $28 - blue corn tortilla, grilled pineapple salsa, red cabbage slaw, poblano crema. He loved these tacos. It is beautiful, spacious, and has two floors! The setting is clearly above your usual brunch spots and the booths offer a more intimate experience. My party and I were privileged to sit in direct view of the open kitchen. We got to see and hear the kitchen staff working together and communicating smoothly. We even heard the "hands" announcements like you see on The Bear TV show! I believe the food here was on par with the West Hollywood location, so points for consistency. Unfortunately, I have the same qualms for flavor for their dishes. I tried the short rib pot stickers, the tortilla soup, and the Bolognese pasta. I would say that the flavors were not especially strong for each dish. I think they each needed a pinch of extra seasoning to really make their flavors pop! Moreover, I tried my girlfriend's Rigatoni Alla Vodka and the cheese had no taste! Nevertheless, the dishes were beautiful. Lastly, I had a bit of an issue with our service. Our server passed by our table multiple times as we tried to flag her down to ask for the check. I think she could have been more attentive especially in the context of this higher-end brunch spot. With all of these factors combined, it's an overall 4/5 for me.

The water service has no ice which I found irritating coupled with the lack of A/C. They do not have a whiskey list which is lacking for a high end steakhouse. Everything felt very old-fashioned and outdated. I visited the bar and found a weak selection of hooch to choose from. Our server was super friendly but not as informed as he should have been. He mislead me about the salad ingredients. He told me the traditional salad was iceburg but it was artisan lettuce, cabbage, and kale. I asked for blue cheese dressing and got essentialy a slab of blue cheese. See pic. No complaints - just wierd and probably blows the food costs sky high. My double cut pork chop was delicious. Be advised it is not cooked to order. It seems to be a smoked chop reheated but it was tasty and moist inside. The sides were very disappointing. My brocolini was soaked in lemon juice and the braised cabbage was sweetened with sugar. My wife's sausage and chicken was bland. The cole slaw was acceptable. The food pricing was under market but still high for the quality and execution. $17 for a Makers Mark on the rocks is a bit steep especially since they have no clear whiskety cubes. Overall the experience was a miss for us. I miss the Houston's on Camelback at the Esplanade. It was far superior.
