Horrible , unsafe drivers! I witnessed a driver going 60+ mph through a residential street today, with kids present!! On his way back up the road he proceeded to blow a stop sign with a towed car. I've already submitted the footage to the police, teach your tow truck drivers to drive safely or fire them. You will end up having a huge lawsuit if one of these drivers run over a child one day. If I could, I would give this place negative stars. The woman at the counter was so rude, yelling at employees , swearing, using the F word and using God's band in vain. She was very rude to people coming to pick up their cars and complaining she was all alone. I get that she may have been stressed out with her situation, but there's still no reason to behave in such a poor manor. Yeah, look no one who has to write a review about a tow yard is going to be happy about it. We all had our cars towed for something or someone bad. I was injured in a scary car accident by someone else's fault. CHP was not helpful but that's another story, I sadly and anxiously watched my totaled 2020 car on the freeway for the last time as I was wheeled away into an ambulance. Given a clumsy explanation that a tow truck will just take my car to some random towyard and oh, call Monday because it's a Friday night:( Tears, pain, broken bone and 3 days later, I find out my car was taken here. I realize folks who run tow yards see some sad and shady shit. I call and speak to a cantankerous older woman who says "photos are not allowed..." now not only am I already miserable about what happened to me but now I have no photos of my car for insurance, evidence and well my own right to know the condition of my car. She explains it's a privacy issue, hmm. Take note of that later on in the story. She does allow my boyfriend to come down to get my belongings since Im too injured to do it. Ok she gets ONE star for that. My boyfriend later told me when he arrived, same woman was making jokes about Asian drivers (um, I am Asian, and this wasn't my fault but she didn't know that...) and was loudly on the phone giving out private info while my boyfriend was within earshot. Hmm, ok privacy rule lol. She again tells him no Photos when he asks to take some. He asked if this was in writing, and she said no it wasn't. This is the worse place to have your car towed to. The owner is a crook. He charged my nephew $140 just to open the gate, ( the gate was already opened) and another over $200 to get his car. He yelled at my nephew's mom and didn't want to talk to her. He is a bonafide thief. Tow companies are a b!tch. I'm not gonna call this company an a$$hole or a b!tch because that's against Yelp's policies (and I want to be a good member of the Yelp community), so these guys are totally not a$$holes or b!tches. According to their website they have towing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When I arrived no one was there and the gates were locked. A sign at the gate said their office hours were M-F, 8-5. I called to make sure I could pick up my car that day. The operator told me that that their mechanic (or whatever she called him) will call and meet me at the yard in 10 minutes. I asked how much this was all going to cost and she told me the mechanic was going to give me all that information. For thirty-five minutes I waited in a shady part of Hayward where I bet drug deals and other illegal things happen. It reminded me of a drug exchange scene at a tow yard in Breaking Bad. Then, there was a group of guys who came out of nowhere and kept looking my way. I totally froze and couldn't run in the car. They eventually took off in their car, I'm glad they decided to leave me alone. The mechanic finally called and said he will be right over. I asked how much this was going to cost, but for some reason I didn't get an answer again. Ten minutes later, the mechanic said he couldn't see me. Ummm... I was right outside the gate. Then he said, "Oh I'm at the yard across the street behind you." Why the freak is he across the street and why the heck wasn't I told this before??? So I walked over to the other yard and a guy came out of a tow truck. He said blah, blah, blah, yada yada yada...then said, "We only take cash." Wha.....?!?!? I have talked to them 3 times and NO ONE mentioned this to me????? I could've stopped at the bank before I came here. Geez! Do people normally have $335 cash in their pocket???? I would leave 0 stars. They never know fees and I was stuck waiting an extra 48 hours for them to figure it out. My car was towed there by the Hayward police and neither this company of the police followed up with me in regards to fees and what was happening with my vehicle. I recently discovered they put a lien on my vehicle. The owner was threatening and demanded I pay fees that are unjust and unreasonable especially given the service and lack of good business practice. This place is shady as f***. Whoever towed my vehicle f***ed up my wheel alignment and bent my tie rod. It was barely drivable when I picked up up at the tow yard. I took it to an auto body shop who verified my car had been towed improperly and that was the cause of damage. I called to speak with the manager about it and I literally couldn't even finish one sentence without him screaming at me and telling me to "prove it" and telling me there was nothing he could do. Most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. A sketchy guy who seemed like he was on drugs walked up on me and my girlfriend as we were walking into the office asking us if we were there to pick up a car. Then he took our paperwork even though it wasn't his job. I told him I needed it back to take a photo of it and he told me I didnt need it back. When I insisted, he threw the papers at me. He then proceeded to taunt me and ask me if everything was alright in my head and began cussing at me. My girlfriend has 911 dialed while I began taking a video because we didnt know what he would do next. *Please be aware of this towing company* I got into a pretty bad car accident, the hayward pd offered to tow my car to the yard in my behalf (it's my first accident I'm not sure how anything works) after insurance companies told me to take it out of tow we go down Saturday in which there was only 1 driver and he had to call his boss for everyone he was helping. He then tells me I need a police release to get my car out (the police station is closed on weekends). We call Monday morning and the police station tells me I DONT need a release because it was under my orders and to ask to dispute the last couple of days. We go back down to the tow yard only to be greeted 5 mins after we walk in and she proceeds to say "can I help you" with the most attitude I've ever encountered from anybody. I tell her my situation and she says she can't do anything about it and she will take no money off because it comes out of "her pocket". I continue on saying it was your mistake not mine why am I paying all this money. She then starts yelling at me that I need to pay or it's going to collections and turns away to her computer. Anyways, $800 in fees later she tries to act buddy buddy with me saying "yeah I've been called a b****, wh***, c***, etc." Who speaks to their customers that way? Needless to say, I will be seeing them in court for all those extra fees I didn't need to pay. Oh and she said insurance called to come look at the car the following day but she couldn't tell me who and that they couldn't see the car unless it was release to the insurance anyways. This is the worst place ever. The scam people out of their money to the max. I am not sure how hayward PD still have a contract with them. I got my car towed yesterday at night around 8pm. I called the HWPD they said it got impounded by ARROYO towing. I called them but they was closed till the next day. So I came there the next day in the morning. I saw HWPD tow price 225 on the TV screen. Mind you I already paid HWPD 235 to get the release forms. So I saw ARROYO charging me 315. I was like why you charging me 315. He say 1 day storge fee and I was like it's not even 24 hours. Then he said oh for HWPD is 6 hours I was like WTF. I said even if i was suppose get it within 6 hours last night. I couldn't because you guys are closed, So theres no way. He said that's the policy I called it out that's BS. He got mad and said if you wanna say that I can have you wait outside for 20 mins before i help you SMDH. I just said charge me so I can go and make a review on yelp. My car was took there by alameda police I had to wait 4 days before picking it up because they were closed I was still charged 100$ per day even tho no one was there for me to get my car the lady was stressed and over worked my main question I asked her is that no one messed with my car because I seen reviews saying they had parts missing she assured me no the boys treat the cars like their own well I been hearing clicking noises under my hood note I just had work done so I kno my under hood was perfect but now I'm missing screws that hood down this plastic cover I can literally pick it completely up I need to take my car to Nissan tomorrow to have them make sure nothing is missing and pay to get everything fixed even tho I just spent 800$ getting my car from this place also when my car was took there I was not anywhere near Hayward the person who had my car got arrested but I was never notified that they had my car I had to start calling everywhere to find where it was wtf read more

The car he was driving was towed on scene by union city police via a "owners request" tow. Called UCPD and they said 2 tow company were on scene one was Arroyo tow. I called arroyo tow first because that was the first number the lady at UCPD gave me. Lady on the phone at arroyo tow was so rude. And also tried to give me the run around saying "call the police department" I told her I just got off the phone with them and they said your tow company was one of two on scene and she said really aggressively "well it's not us". Apparently this is the company contracted by our Condo board to "Cruise" the neighborhood for illegally parked cars. Beware- My motorcycle's back tire was parked literally 1 inch in the red zone of of a fire hydrant. Their service is really bad! Our truck was recovered yesterday in Hayward after it was stolen from our warehouse. The Hayward PD dispatched this tow company to help us tow the truck from Hayward to the repair shop. The driver was nice but he and the owner got into a physical fight in front of us.
