The drinks are a bit overpriced for what you get. The flavors were alright, and they do give you a good amount of popcorn chicken.

After a long trip from Houston, I was looking for a quick boba drink pick me up. To my pleasant surprise they also served a wide variety of food along with a diverse array of drinks. I ordered a Wintermelon Lime Aiyu with Basil Seeds and a Teriyaki Chicken Don which was all served out in a timely manner while they also seemed to juggle delivery orders behind the counter. At this point I was blown away by their service which was also aided by their designated worker who stood at the outside of the counter calling order numbers and taking orders outside where customers waited in spaced dining areas. For the food, it was quite exceptional and full of flavor. I'll be sure to visit once again when I'm back in San Antonio. read more

Great Boba Tea in San Antonio can be hard to come by if you usually enjoy teas from Austin or Houston. However, Artea holds its own with other great boba shops. The teas are very flavorful without being overly sweet which I really enjoyed. Their specialty teas are unique and more sweet than the traditional selections such as milk tea but are very tasty nonetheless. The staff was very friendly, offering to fix the drink without extra charge if there was a misunderstanding. I cant wait to return to try their food. read more

I ordered through Postmates, but the meal was still delicious! I went to Taiwan last summer and this brought me back. I got the Pudding Boba with 50% sugar which was sweet but not too sweet. I also got the Popcorn Chicken Don which was so amazing but the chicken was a little on the salty side, but still so good. It was a big portion so I was able to eat the rest the next day! Came here for our lunch today and was not disappointed in the least!! We ordered the: Bacon Fried Rice, Pot Stickers, Grapefruit Passion Fruit Slush, and a Sea Salt Cream Strawberry Frappuccino. The Bacon Fried Rice was some of the best I have ever had. It had the smoky flavor from the bacon and the saltiness from the soy without being too salty. The portion size was huge, it is enough for 2 people to easily share. Lastly, the drinks are the highlight of this spot! The Grapefruit Passion Fruit slush is tart, sweet, and refreshing! The Sea Salt Cold Foam Strawberry Frappuccino was creamy, sweet, and a hint of salt. The cold cream is almost like a thick whipped cream that adds an ice cream like texture to the drink. I stopped in today for the soft opening. I enjoyed a taro milkshake (bummed I forgot to order with boba, but I'll do that next time). Best taro I've had in town. I love that they make their own I house, you can really tell the difference! I also ordered the steamed buns from the Eats menu. It had pork belly with cilantro and Thai peanuts and sauce. This place reminds me all the tea places in Houston's Chinatown and I'm not mad about it. They have drinks and snacks. Their food menu is limited right now but they plan on serving a fuller menu once things get rolling. I got their popcorn chicken and it was delicious. It was a good amount and the chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. I also got the lychee green tea. I don't like my drinks terribly sweet and they were able to accommodate me. I really liked this place. The mobile app was actually easy to use and yes this place is expensive but I thought the boba was pretty solid. Pricey but great. The bad I'll get out of way is popcorn chicken. I've had this at boba places in Cali and I've had better. This wasn't there. But the rest of the food was amazing. Believe the hype in the fried rice. It is probably the best I've had in San Antonio period. I've eaten at a lot of Asian fare places and none of them come close to this. I'll always get the fried rice here. The side teriyaki and side pork belly were pretty decent too. Only thing I would not recommend is the popcorn chicken. I like how the place looks and has plenty parking spots. I ordered the Lychee Green with tapioca with regular sugar level and it wasn't bad; just for me i would lessen the sugar level & I wouldn't get it with tapioca. The jasmin green tea my sister got wasn't potent so she had to switched out to the signature milk tea which was better. My sister and I think the tea flavor wasn't as potent as we'd like it but it was still drinkable. I personally didn't like the quality of the tapioca, but my sister was fine with it. We also ordered the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, it was good, for the most of it. It was salty, there were nooks and crannies part of the chicken were it's just covered with salt. However, it was good and was served hot. The service was good over all. As for studying here, it's not bad. I didn't check if they have wifi when I was there but I'd call them before hand if you wanna head there. Music may a bit loud for certain people too unless you have headphones. I don't think I'd come here again if I wanted boba unless I was invited to. read more

This place surprised me in regard to the food because most tea places have snacks that are at most "alright" but the menu was extensive & I was impressed with the portions. Wonderful new bubble tea shop in San Antonio! The tea flavor in their drinks is super prominent, which I appreciate in bubble teas. Their honey boba was perfectly cooked and had a good honey taste. They are only having a soft opening right now, so they don't have all of their options, but they still had plenty of good drinks to choose from! I've tried the jasmine milk tea, lychee green tea, and formosa oolong tea so far, and they were each super good. The formosa oolong tea was especially surprising, I loved the complex flavor it had. The staff was all friendly and fairly quick for a group that had just opened. They have some board games there as well, if you feel like sitting inside with friends.
