Don't come here worst service. She's a rude lady,I think maybe the owner not sure. I came in for a pedicure, she hadn't started my water and she was being rough with my feet with cutting me with the file and nippers. I had asked her for acrylic for a little length on my big toes and she was having a fit. I live a few minutes from this salon and was desperate to get my nails done the day before a wedding. All the salons I called were booked up and I was unable to snag an appointment so I thought to give this salon a try based on the good reviews and the fact that it's never looked too busy when I pass by. I regret this decision so much. I walked in at 430 to a completely empty salon except for 1 person working who did my pedicure. During my pedicure, she kept stating that I have small toe nails - I know - and that she'd have to work hard to cut my cuticles in order to make them look better. And boy did she deliver on that statement because she dug into my toe nails and it was extremely painful. Then the owner of the salon came and started on my full set of acrylics. I asked for almond shape which took her nearly 2 hours to shape. She even said "this is a hard shape to accomplish and I want to make sure it looks good for you." Spoiler: it didn't and I had to go home and re-file. I showed her my inspo photo which is a nude pink with white swirls. She kept insisting it was a clear pink. Now the WORST part of this experience is that she burned my finger. Not just a small little burn but a huge chemical burn on my pinky that's now bubbled up. When I showed her the burn and asked what it was, she exclaimed and asked why I didn't tell her I got burned. I literally got my hand back a minute before I asked and noticed it was white and waxy. At this point, I was just desperate to get this appointment over with so I could leave. When she began to paint my nails, she chose a clear pink that was basically clear and I had to again ask for a more pink/nude color. She chose a different color that was more or less the same and I just gave up. While drawing the swirls on one hand, she followed the photo I showed. When she moved to the next hand, she decided to freestyle and added blocks and flames. Not only did it not match my other hand, it's not what I asked for. She then commented on how much better her artistic style was than the photo I showed and asked if I agreed. I didn't but I just wanted to leave so I stayed quiet. She did not give me a discount or offer any sort of compensation for burning my skin. This was a terrible experience. Please don't come here. read more

My nails were done by a girl named Tammy who was very nice and asked me about myself, which doesn't happen often at these places. She did an amazing job on my nails. She took her time and even gave me a tip about putting lotion on my hands (they get dry from washing my hands at work all day). I would definitely come here again and I have no clue why I hadn't come before. It's closer than the other places I've been going to lately. My manicure was only $12 which is a great price. Walk in friendly eh?... no. Apparently not. I walked 10 minutes from my house to get a pedicure. One of the ladies & the boss/manager asked me to come back in 2 hours to get a pedicure... wth? Anyway, I really wanted to go somewhere else, but I couldn't. This was the closest & the prices were cheapest. I've also been here a couple of times & fortunately, they haveN'T messed up on my nails. So I came back at around 3 PM. The boss/manager was gone, but the skinny vietnamese lady I saw earlier was there. As soon as she started my french pedicure, I couldn't help but laugh. This was a total anjelah johnson moment. me: so, how much will this cost? lady: "$17 dolla for pedicure, $5 moh for french, $5 moh for callus removal - but I gib you $3 special - normally $5 dolla!!" me: oh. uhhh. ok. (i had NASTY nasty callussed heels & was desperate to get it off) the lady continued working on my feet. i felt like the quality/service was lower than before (the water was almost cold instead of warm, the way she gripped my foot was at times - very painful) but her attitude was very, very sweet. I could tell she was sort of a perfectionist because she would come back & forth to the littlest details of pricking away bad skin & such. I was happy that she spent about 10 minutes of removing my callus (disgusting, i know) & gave me a lot of advice. This just shows that she wasn't totally ripping me off, but was serious about customer satisfaction. It took her about 1.5 hours to give me a french pedicure. Yeah - sucks how it took so long, but I'm really happy that she put in so much time/effort to please me. As she even tried to put my foot into my sandal, she accidently hit my toe on the strap (so some paint came off). She immediately corrected it with several coats & gave me a fan to let it dry faster. I left very, very happy & feeling much more comfortable with myself. For some crappy reason, I wore heels late that night to watch a show. My nails were dry when I touched them & they looked quite perfect right before I wore my shoe. But after i took these heels off, I realized that most of the french tip paint peeled off!!! what the hell?! I was so, so sad. so minus 1 star for that for sure. Anyway, I'm still going to come back just because of the great customer service (besides that walk-in crap). next time, i'll make an appointment & won't wear any shoes/heels until the next day...? read more

My mom and I have been going to another nail place for 15 years and our lady retired because we ran out of things to talk about Jk. :) She actually took a leave because she wanted to take care of her grand daughter. My sis in-law referred us to Artistic Nails because it was close to her work and she really liked the results. After trying out several different places, we gave it a try. Since we get acrylic nails, we wanted to find a place that specializes in acrylics. We were hooked the first time we were there. Helen's work is so consistent. like everything else in this world, we want our fake acrylic nails to look "real". And Helen does exactly that!...thin and perfect. we have a standing appointment with Helen every two weeks now and we will be with her until she retires. We been with her for 5 years. get your nails done here. i'm rather picky with nail places because i ask them to do weird colours and designs and i'm usually very specific but other places don't really have the patience to deal with me. this place does! it looks pretty plain from the outside and is not all fancy inside either. there are a couple of spa chairs but if you're looking for the whole experience, this probably isn't where you'll find it. my nail lady's name is tien. she is very nice and accomodating, we often spend around almost 2 hours together every two weeks or so. =o) it's also really cheap here - regular manicure/pedicure set is 20, 18 on some days with the specials. frenching is 3 bucks more or so. they aren't perfect, but just pay attention when they're doing your nails and tell them what you want. all the ladies there are pretty nice. my male coworker went with me once and he enjoyed. guys need clean nails too~! read more
