    Lomo
    Lily T.

We came in for a late lunch/early dinner and had no issues finding parking or making a reservation the day of. We got the Lomo ($68) and the Parilla Mixta ($50) with the mashed potatoes and the polenta. The last time we came here, they brought out a delicious complimentary bread but it seems like they don't do that anymore. My boyfriend liked his lomo (filet mignon) and it had a nice sear and the chimichurri and demi glace was delicious. My parilla mixta was yummy but the skirt steak was on the blander side and the sausage was nothing special but I really like the shrimp and the polenta was delicious. Overall everything was fresh and the food came out quick and our waitress was really nice. The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we were there but it looked like it was filling up and it is a cute spot for a date night or dinner with friends! It's definitely on the pricier side but we would come back to try their pastas or other dishes!

What a great spot! We grabbed seats at the bar and had such a wonderful dinner paired with delicious drinks. Our service was quick and attentive . We started with the Caesar salad topped with anchovies and perfectly sized, crispy croutons. Then came the chicken skewers and the steak with shrimp in tomato sauce, served with sourdough wedges -- everything was flavorful, satisfying, and beautifully prepared. We ordered one of the drink specials along with an Arnold Palmer, and both were spot-on. If you're looking for Argentinian food at its best in Tacoma, this is a must-try restaurant. Parking can be a bit challenging, but honestly, that's the only downside. We'll definitely be back for this great vibe of a restaurant!!

This place has been on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I got to check it out for happy hour. My friend and I started with the empanada and frites as appetizers then opted for the surf and turf as our entrees. The food was all very flavorful and fresh. The bread that is served with the surf and turf is tasty, and the portion size of the dish was large enough for me to take home and have leftovers. The special margarita was pineapple flavored and refreshing. Service was wonderful, and the restaurant itself was very cute. I've been looking for a regular happy hour spot, and this might be it!

This place was amazing! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were able to get a seat at the bar right away. It seemed busier on the regular table side, but it was nice to have either option. The ambiance is super cute, cosy enough to be a date night, but lively enough to go with friends too. The bartenders were super nice and knowledgeable about the menu, answering all of the questions we had. My husband got the Caramelized Pineapple Margarita, which I believe was their seasonal margarita at the time, and he really liked it. I just got a regular margarita, which was also very good. To eat, I got the Prawn & Turf, and he got the Bolognese. During Happy Hour, everything is very reasonably priced! All of the food was extremely flavorful and the portions were more than enough. The pasta is made in house and you can really taste the difference! The sauce that came with the prawn & turf was one of the most unique and flavorful sauces I've ever had. We had also ordered an empanada as well and our bartender forgot to ring it in, but it ended up working out just fine because we couldn't even finish our main plates. Overall, both the service and the food here are amazing and we will definitely be back!

So I'm not from the area but a local recommended this place. Grateful we made reservations since they book out in advance. Our servers name was Kate and she was superb! The way she described all the food with such passion and detail made us want to order everything! Aside from that she was beyond kind and patient while we chose our drinks and food. Never once made us feel rushed. I ordered the Inside Job and loved it! Great take on an old fashioned. My pregnant sister ordered a secret garden which she said was incredibly refreshing. We shared everything and started off with the chicken empanadas. Loved these! They had this incredible hint of cinnamon and I love how they had a generous amount of filling, a light crunchy crust and the sauce on the side only made them that much better. My sister ordered the ribeye with the purple potatoes and I got the branzino. She said her steak was good but she'd had a better one at Seattle City Grill. I thought it had a great crust on it. The branzino was perfection! Hope it sticks around as a permanent option. Definitely a pricy place though. Luckily we were celebrating that night!

Dark, rustic venue nice for date night. Pretty full even on a Tuesday. Probably should have a reservation but we were lucky and were able to walk in. Service was good. I loved the tender lamb shank and enjoyed the smoky polenta it was served over even more. My partner thought it was too rich. Used the nice toast to soak up some sauce. Gnocchi was light and tasty with different mushrooms. Menu says pasta is fresh and it tastes it. Would go again!

    Rib Eye Steak w/ fries

Made reservations here for my Fiancé's birthday awhile back. Found parking fairly easy (Street Parking Only) and was immediately greeted by the server right when we walked in. Was a beautiful day out so the big doors were open letting in some fresh air. Ordered the Rib Eye, which I'm typically not a fan of Rib Eye steak. Delicious. Perfectly seasoned where no additional sauce was needed and it practically melted in my mouth. Be prepared to spend a bit of coin but also be prepared to have plenty of left overs. I believe my steak was 14oz and I know I have plenty for lunch and breakfast this coming weekend. As long as I don't screw it up while reheating it.

First off, all of the staff was incredible. From the valet outside to the waitstaff and host. Elijah was an incredible waiter! He gave great recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. The ribeye will have us drooling for weeks to come. Fantastic flavors and super juicy and tender. All of the food was delicious, we will definitely be back soon. Don't forget to get the crème brûlée!

The ahi special and boneless short ribs were our entrees; both came nicely presented and were very tasty. Both pretty full, we ended up with a bourbon chocolate cake and fruit hand pie to go, which were both delicious. My brother was a chef du cuisine, not a cook. He taught me decades ago how to make a dining experience worthy of people's spending. This was not it. The food was amazing but left the experience me feeling as if I wasted my money. The grumpiness of the individual behind the bar where we sat and ate was showmanship beyond unprofessionalism. When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. Bartending is an art rooted in many aspects beyond drink making, especially if you are representing a business in service. No offers of drinks with empty drink glasses after rounds 1 and 2. No acknowledgement of empty dishes with wishes of subsequent courses that we were interested in. Yikes, this was bad.

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. The food was on point throughout, and considering the size of our group, that's borderline remarkable. Breakfast at Cooper's is flavorful and excellent! Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!
