Family doctor who accepts drop in patients! He was my doctor for years and my dad was an MD so I'm impossible to impress. Dr Asher seemed to really care about me and my wellness. When I was obese and struggling with food, he let me attend weekly weight loss group meetings at his office, even though I was not doing his Medi-Fast program. He introduced me to a dietician who helped me figure out eating. This was just for me! This is not urgent care so the wait might be a little long if you drop in because some other people made appointments. Dr Asher has a wide medical knowledge. I saw him put a splint on some guy's arm then give a little kid a shot then he helped me get all of my paperwork set up for my weight loss surgeon. He was always great! Also he does not seem to care if you are a perfect person. He gave me B12 shots when I was under eating and dispensed weight loss medicine in office at the time I was over eating. He prescribed my partner ED pills when those were needed. Basically Dr. Asher has you covered. If you have some weird problem, he knows a guy or gal...he's affiliated with Anaheim Memorial Regional Care hospital somehow... at least he knows the specialists there. First off they don't even greet you. Second, the guy at the front seems to have an attitude I went up to him and he just sat there no smile or anything. When I went in there was no one in the waiting room. I took in my brother and just to even get registered was taking forever. The guy "helped" me in the beginning but as soon as I told him my phone died and I couldn't register on my phone he gave a face. The lady next to him noticed as decided to help us out. I didn't have the medical card but I had the member ID number. She seemed to maybe have been new at this and kept asking her boss for advice or whatever but in the middle of it I asked for my stuff back and left. We went to another urgent care and he was registered and taken in under 20 mins. SMH I wanted to try this place out since it's closer to me and it's new but just one visit made me regret stopping there. read more

I know them by name and they know me. I have never had an issue with anyone and have always gotten the care I needed. Waisted my time after I waited a week to see them, didn't disclose important information. Ended up leaving after more office wait.

I had a allergic reaction & had trouble breathing. The medical clinic was closed for TWO hours for a lunch break. Luckily I only had to wait 15 mins. The front office they were talking loudly about their "personal" life, they were rude & unprofessional. The doctor was a pervert, & failed to give me a injection for my allergic reaction. Second, why are you demanding a doctor to give you an injection, as if you know more than him? I'm sorry, do you have a medical degree? Good lord, people like you that think they know everything, demand antibiotics for a viral infections, seek drugs, or do everything opposite a doctor tells you to do. Can we rate this place a zero??? This was by far the worst experience at a Medical Doctors office I've had in my entire life. Dr. Asher and Jenny both were combative, rude, insensitive, and acted all holier than thou as if there you know what doesn't stink. I'm obviously going through a rough time. Gentle, kind, caring, and compassionate....that's what I was expecting from them. But I got the exact opposite. I was going through active withdrawal symptoms during the visit and I was feeling like absolute crap hoping to be treated with the right meds and the right psychology program. But all they cared about was "selling" me on there $20,000 inpatient 30 day program. I made it clear to them that I don't want to do this program. And at the end of the day it's my decision as to what I want to do. Btw I'm a doctor myself. No doctor is allowed to say "it's my way or the high way". The doctor should give multiple options to chose from and it's the patients right to pick and chose the program that best fits there personal needs. The doctor should also have also provided 3 other local doctors offices that he could recommend to me if his program wasn't right for me. So That's already like 2 counts of negligence right there. And The doctor literally said that he wouldn't be able to go to sleep at night knowing that he didn't do the "right thing" and put me in the 30 day in home program. But it's funny...he didn't mind "not doing the right thing" by sending me home that night without any meds for the detox. And with no way of combating the withdrawal symptoms. No way of combating the horrible, excruciating pain that comes with it. Putting me in absolute hell for a week. It was obvious his main concern was selling me on the 20,000 dollar program. Maybe there short on cash flow who knows. They know I'm not working. They know I can't afford it. And again they couldn't care less about my well being. I'm on my fourth day of detox. Without and help. Without and meds. Without any support. I trusted these guys with my life for 4 months. But honestly they weren't worth my time. There not worth anybody's time. If your interested in doing the MAT program or even an inpatient program...FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO. All they are is a business. And all you are to them is a number. Don't be a number. Don't make the same mistakes I did. Go somewhere else. If I could give them zero stars I would. Anyways...you get my point. P.S.: there so called case managers are supposed to check up on you and keep you motivated and keep you in the right frame of mind. I sometime go weeks and months without hearing from them. My case managers last text to me was quote: " if you don't do the 30 day program you are going to DIE". Ummmm, seriously?!?!?! Is that what your gonna say to someone who is in this sensitive, delicate, and in horrible situation. She should be stripped of her license and should lose her job and never be allowed to manage anybody's case. She should look in the mirror and ask herself if this is the field she really wants to be in because that is absolutely no way to talk to someone in that condition, it should never happen. It is unprofessional, And I have half a mind to report her. But I'm too nice. But not too nice to not right this review. People need to know. And people need to know the truth on this "medical team" and there pathetic approach to addiction treatment .....PATHETIC!!! read more

Arrived on time for my appointment at 3:00pm and was not seen until 4:45 pm!!! I addressed my frustration w the front desk staff and made an official compliant to the office mgr. This urgent care facility advertised in my hotel as the nearest urgent care facility. We drove here and spent twenty minutes just locating the office in the labyrinth of medical facilities. After finding the office, I asked to be seen for an infection, only to be told that the urgent care did not open until four p.m. The ad they put in the hotel clearly says they're open all day for urgent care. We had to go elsewhere to get help. False advertising does not impress me. I had to seek medical help elsewhere. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Asher for almost 5 years. I moved to California from Philadelphia in late 2013. From my first visit Dr. Asher and his staff have been extremely helping and compassionate. After my first visit I had an issue with a medication that was prescribed, so I called the office and asked for help, it was almost evening. Dr. Asher called me back and spent a lot of time with me over at least 3 phone calls that evening, until we found a medication that would work for my situation. I don't know many doctors who would do that, especially at night. The following year I went to school across the county back in PA. I started seeing a local doctor there but needed help with several medical documents for the university. Dr. Asher and the staff helped me get all of my records in order and sent over from across the county. Moving back after that semester I continued seeing Dr. Asher. He has helped me through several medical issues and always takes the time to explain what's going on and answer any questions I have. The staff is always very helpful, friendly, and caring. I'm grateful that we have a family practice in the area with a doctor and staff like them. read more

Been going to this dr for about 10 years without any problems & the staff is the friendliest I've been around. Dr Asher is very caring & kind & does take the time needed for each patient of which he has a ton. His office is open from 8-6 & he also takes walk ins, that is an extreme amount of patients a day but he gets to them all. read more

I have seen Dr. Asher over a period of three to four years and I have always received great care. Anytime I have walked in without an appt I was seen by the doctor. Most of the time I am in and out within an hour and when I did have to wait it was because someone needed medical care more urgent then my problem. I don't think it is fair to judge the doctors or the employees if you have only been there one time. I went there and got prescription they gave me the wrong expired script paper. the Receptionist were very rude and talked down to me. there pathetic at best. so I went back to fix the script. they refused to give me a new 1. they ordered me to pharmacy down stairs. so I can't go to my regular pharmacy. they are charging me twice the price and won't take my insurance. worst Dr I've been too I'd never recommend em to any1 I'm gonna try to report em to higher authorities. not to mention when I left 1st time they offered me meds that I needed. for 80 more dollars. and didn't. include it on my prescription so now I've gotta go without or pay another visit elsewhere. thumbs down never seen anything this horrible except on tv read more

Was referred by a friend last minute, drove 45 minutes to Anaheim in which the doctor met me there. I appreciate him going out of his way to meet me when he was off call. But it was a complete waste of my time I spent $45 to be prescribed a medication that has not even been released by the vendor yet. He promised that the medication would be at a specific pharmacy in which I drove to and waited 45 minutes to find out that they do not carry the medication. So I called around to approximately seven different brand pharmacies that had never heard of the medication before. When I attended to call back the doctor I make sure I let them know it was an urgent matter and was forwarded straight to voicemail. I called multiple times and did not receive a phone call back. I spent approximately two hours driving around trying to find a medication that does not even exist. It angers me that there are still doctors out there prescribing medications just because they make money off of it when I am trusting and reaching out to doctors for help read more

Has anyone else called and the same receptionist puts you on eternal hold ? Then you ask for the office manager and same receptionist puts you on eternal hold again. I guess that is one way to avoid getting fired, right ? I called in to make a payment and this same receptionist took my payment information and the payment posted to my account. But their billing service continues to send invoices. So I have left a message with this same receptionist 2 times now advising that we already paid and if office manager can call me to ensure that they note my payment and stop their billing office from sending reminders. She obviously never got the messages. Still trying to get in touch with office manager. So, tomorrow I am taking a field trip. See you tomorrow receptionist. And I wont leave until i have something in writing from your office confirming that you were paid in full. I will have my bank info handy. If only this doctor knew how much business this person is costing them....I think they are making enough money off of all the rehab patients that are lined up outside the door to their practice.
