Had exceptional customer service from Titiana on Thursday afternoon. I found the exact dual power recliner (Feazada) in the color I was looking for with all the features I need at a great value. She explained the 5 year extended warranty protection, no pressure, & I also purchased it, plus no interest payment plan for 1 year. The entire selection & purchase process was handled efficiently & pleasantly. I was told my recliner would be delivered today within a 4 hr. window. I got a text from the company a day earlier than expected with the now 3-hr window for Sunday morning, & that the driver would notify me of arrival time. Text came early this morning that we were 1st on the route & they'd be there within 1/2 hour & other instructions. I met the truck outside our bldg & guided them up the ramp & elevator & into our apt, where they assembled & plugged in the recliner where I wanted it. If I could give -5 stars, I would. I was excited to finally decide on a local store to buy a couch. Selected the one below and was told it would come in 6 weeks. I was given a date. I discarded my current couch in preparation for the delivery. Life got busy and it was not until the day before that I called the store and asked what time the delivery would be. They said, "Sorry no one called you but that couch was discontinued!" Seriously!? I asked what the process was to notify customers that items were discontinued and they were just so nonchalant. This is the worst ashley furniture ever. They are so unprofessional and the way they talk to customers is beyond disgusting. We had purchased a furnitures and asked where we are able to load the furnitures and they were redirecting us multiple times. And some lady tried to lecture in how we shouldn't be taking out the furniture since they have a "sensor" and they can detect how many people come in and out and not purchase things. So let tell you how wonderful the sales team here is Ashley Store. When we stepped in we got nothing be amazing welcome . Everyone said hello to us and Scott was our designated sales person and we also met Nelson the manager. We had an Idea on what we will be getting but Scott was very patient on showing us around on other options. Gave us time to check everything out. They gave us a lot of time to find things and make our decision. Nevertheless we came to an agreement on what we wanted and the price part was amazing. It's was for 3700 and some change but we negotiated to 3500 and at the end it was even less on what we asked for. How long did this all take less than 35mins!!!! We had more time looking and testing out all the furniture and only took 15mins to negotiate and finish our payment. Yes I would recommend this amazing staff and store . My daughter just got her first place on her own. We knew her first place would be so cute, and we wanted to reflect that in her furniture as well. The space she got was on the smaller scale footage wise, so we had to be very specific in what she wanted. We looked around at some of the more popular furniture stores to some of the most trendy and expensive ones. But...at the end of the day, we chose Ashley Furniture for my daughter's bedroom room mattress (yes they have an actual mattress showroom!!!), dining island set, and living room sectional. I will do a follow up in about 3 months to let you know how the furniture holds up. We haven't had the furniture delivered yet, as of the date I am writing this review. In the meantime, let me tell you about our experience. Now, mind you, I read ALL the reviews about Ashely before going. I wanted to be aware about anything negative before I went. However, we had positive experiences and good customer service every time we visited over a span of 1 week. They had exactly what my daughter needed, and for that we say, mission accomplished. Trash! Ordered 2 recliners , one came damaged with a bad scratch on the backrest. Had to jump through hoops just to get a replacement on this $1800 recliner. That was extremely annoying to deal with one day after receiving it. Problem #2, this is more of a warning to everyone thinking about purchasing there. Very misleading and deceptive and confusing fine print , but just so you know, THEY DO NOT OFFER RETURNS or EXCHANGES on items purchased in their store. They will absolutely try and sell you on BS warranties but will make sure to NOT mention this. Ofcourse , once it's an issue they will point you towards their fine print. Just warning you guys, I found out the hard way. Buying furniture at their store gives you the ick, it's that same vibe and feeling of purchasing a car at the dealership. You can't help but feel that their entire tactic is to see how much they can get over on you. Nasty feeling. Buying furniture shouldn't be this way. Another heads up, they can always discount each furniture piece there even if it's on sale, atleast $300-$350 dollars , I was able to negotiate this easily. Ofcourse they played the usual games between the sales associate and the manager , "let me talk to the manager and see what they can do?" , also was able to negotiate free shipping and install. However this company and the way this team has let me down as a consumer is truly devastating and I hope no one experiences it. We had an accident and our sofa/ chaise suffered damaged we filed the claim through extend and for almost a month they have sent us back and forth between Ashley's warranty, themselves, and the store. When we purchased our product back in July and we were hesitant about the warranty but the woman manager & sales associate told us it covered EVERYTHING. We bought especially because we have dogs. Present day, we had an accident Extend does not want to send anyone over to few the damage they claim that over the picture they have decided "it was intentional". I went back into the store I spoke with the team and showed them the picture and they told me "yes that will get covered just call Ashley's warranty". The gentlemen at the store and his team said "that is clearly an accident so when you call them tell them (ACCIDENT) or else they won't do anything". Ashley's warranty told us they do not cover rips or tears and sent us back to extend protection. Extend sends us an email again telling us to call Ashley's store. I called Ashley's store the manager told me she can't and won't do anything about it, it's out of her control (mind you she was the one who told us EVERYTHING got covered) and her whole team said it would get covered. She told me to call extend. I just got off the phone with extend they said no we will not cover anything. When I asked for how they came to that conclusion that it was intentional if no one wants to come look at the product the person over the phone got extremely hostile and started raising her voice at me as if I was a child making me me belittled for something out of my control. She began to twist my words over the phone so I had to quickly correct her and tell her I did not say those things. She then in demeaning tone said her and her team WOULD NOT WASTE MONEY OR TIME sending someone over to check on the product. The conversation was so disheartening. Once I told her I would just take the survey at the end because I was unhappy she quickly changed her tone and apologized and would not hang up the call. I had to repeatedly tell her to hang up because I was uncomfortable. As the consumer I would expect a higher level of customer service but clearly Ashley's furniture and the insurance team have made it clear they are after the money and could not care for the customers once the purchase is made. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Avoid at all costs. Would give negative stars. Most inconvenient store for your time and money! Wanted a simple loveseat, ordered 11/29/24. We asked for the earliest delivery and were given a delivery date of 12/12/24. Fair, we thought. We were told everything was in stock and we would receive a timely delivery! We got a call a week later saying it would be delayed to 12/25/24. Crazy they would deliver on Christmas! We had them move it to 12/27/24. No worries, they called us again to delay the delivery to 1/7/25, stating that "the item hasn't arrived at the warehouse yet." We asked to speak with management and they said there was nothing they could do. We received an inconvenience fee refund for this ($130). We also asked to have this in writing to document this. Next week rolls by and we are given another call, stating that again, it's been delayed to 1/15/25. Crazy. Today rolls around and we are given a call, once again stating that they have one piece at the warehouse and are waiting for the other piece, delaying it to 1/28/25. We asked once more for an inconvenience fee for this and are looking to cancel the order entirely if this item does not arrive by 1/28/25 or if we get another delayed delivery call. Absolutely insane! Do not order unless you want to pay money (and a good chunk of it too) and not get your item at all. Terrible customer service experience and an unreasonable exchange policy. The salesperson clearly explained that returns are not allowed for pillows but exchanges are. I purchased two pillows for $400, and after doing extensive research on the pillow, I realized we needed the next-tier model. When I returned to the store to exchange the unopened pillows--not return them--I was told that neither exchanges nor returns are allowed. This is a horror story. We purchased a TV stand from Ashley Homestore. The delivery guy from Ashley asked us for $120 to install the TV stand and we agreed on it, even we think it's too much. There was a broken piece in the middle of the TV stand and the guy tried to hide from me. Instead, he used some paint and a tape to cover it and think i will never find out. Besides that, he did a terrible job, the cabinet door wasn't straight and the back piece of the wood wasn't lined up. I found out the problems after he walked away with my $120. We called Ashley after and it took them long time to deliver us a new TV stand and they took the old one. We were more cautious this time so we told the second delivery person to open the box in front of us. There was another broken piece in the box. Even tho the guy saw the furniture is defective, he didn't pick up and he told us to file a new claim. We had an ugly box with furniture inside of our home for two months because they didn't provide us solutions. What a waste of time and energy to deal with this! We had to take days off from work to stay home and wait for the delivery and picking up the defective product. Ashley Homestore has terrible service and the worst quality. At the end we finally returned it, but it took more than two weeks to get the refund and we still lost $120 to their dishonest employee. I would never buy furniture from them again. read more

Sales people lie, customer service teams do nothing to help. Stay away from this store at all costs. Purchased a bed in January, after they installed it, it broke in two weeks. The install team scratched the hell out of my hardwood floors too. I had a tech come in February that told me it was installed incorrectly by their team and damaged. The sales agent lied and told me the bed wouldn't have an issue with the center support. The center support snapped. They took 5 months to send me a wood and screw part for the bed. Five months! Tried to do a return/refund and they ran me around a month asking me to wait a week over and over. Finally they told me they would offer $100 credit. I lost more than when I took the day off for their tech showing up 4 hours late. I lost more than that taking breaks from work to talk to him. Customer service number is outsourced so they do literally nothing and the store staff lied to me telling me I would get a credit for the bed because of the long wait. Absolutely waste of time for low quality furniture with a useless warrantee and insurance plan. read more

I had an issue with one of the tables I purchased and had the warranty. It came in handy and they gave me credit for the table since it is no longer manufactured. I chose two items from their website and have them delivered and this experience was much better than the one I had in store. Also, all the people that were there when I purchased my first set of furniture and had problems with are now gone. They completely changed their staff. There were a couple of things I didn't like this time around though. First, I had misinformation where they stated I could not choose an item online and had to pick in the store. That was incorrect and I did not find anything in the store to my liking. When I followed up I did find out that I can chew something online and have it delivered. Second, there was something about the finance guy I didn't like. He also gave me misinformation when I tried to pay for the items and I just got a bad vibe from him. At any rate my experience was a little better so I'm going to bump up my review to 3 stars. read more

Long story short we bought a round GLASS TABLE from them and when we got home one day it was completely SHATTERED everywhere on our dining floor. The table was right next to my daughters playpen and could have very well KILLED HER had she been in it or crawling underneath it. (SEE ATTACHED PICTURES.) GPS enterprise (the furniture protection company they use) wanted to give us a replacement. Why would I want to do that knowing it could happen again?! Both GPS and Ashley furniture REFUSED to credit us and just wanted to give a replacement. After months of going back and forth with both companies, the store decided to credit us for just what the glass was worth. NO ONE from the store told me I had to use the CREDIT WITHIN 60 DAYS and they CANCELED the credit. SERIOUSLY people?! The manager at the time there, Frankie, and most of the customer service representatives were rude, hard to work with and get a hold of. Most of them unprofessional and uneducated.
