I went in to the bar and the lady working the bar had little idea about drinks. Then I asked for an appetizer and dinner. My appetizer came after my dinner. Had 3 drinks rum an appetizer and dinner came to $60.05. One person. She did not tell me that my pork fried rice was not part of my meal and the rice that was part of it was not offered or brought out. Then she rang me up for a large rice and never asked the size. I don't do fish so this is in no way based on sushi which they seem to be proud of. I am however a big Chinese food girl. I love rice and flavorful dishes traditionally found in these types of places. First the server could make no substitutions even for extra money... I just wanted a few beef sticks instead of chicken wings. Nope. That didn't bother me, however the food did. The chicken rice soup was rice in some yellow broth stuff. It did not taste of chicken. I The pork fried rice was flavorless and greasy The Orange chicken was not spicy at all.... very little flavor. The sauce.... The SAUCE!!! It was gooey and sticky! Vial! I just started work real close to Asian Breeze and I figured I get some take-out for lunch one day. I ordered my normal chinese dish - General Tso's chicken. The lunch deal is pretty great because you get soup, appetizer and freid rice along with your main dish. The total after tax was only $9.75. Unfortunately, the chicken was severely under fried. The chicken was just barely cooked but I could taste the batter on the outside. The sauce was also not very spicy. I'm just disappointed since there are some good reviews on yelp, perhaps the japanese food is where it's at. My wife and I ate here with some friends the other night. This is definately a great place. Drinks are well balanced and good. Food is outstanding. I wish we lived closer to this place as we would be regulars. One of the best chinese restaurants in NH I've been to. Very clean inside. We had a group order of various dinner places and all were delicous. From what I remember we had Hunan Beef, white rice, pork strips, General Tso's chicken, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls and one other chicken dish. All were outstanding. The staff at this place is very rude. I will never go eat at this place ever again and I highly recommend going elsewhere. My husband was in his Navy uniform going for a bite to eat and they still were so rude to him. When we first arrived, we waited over 10 minutes to get seated because the greeter wasn't there. We only stayed because the sign at the front said "Best of NH" and decided to give them a chance. The host came up and hurried us to a seat, then asked what we wanted to drink. My husband said water, and in the middle of my sentence of telling him what I wanted, he walked off and said nothing. Didn't even look back or check back in. Our waiter came by and asked what we wanted to eat. I told him I wanted water but the hostess disappeared and we got our menus. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento lunch box with miso soup. The tofu in the miso soup was sour. I've never had sour tofu before, so that was really weird to me. My husband agreed about the soup and didn't finish it. The waiter came by the table and muttered something about not liking the soup and not finishing it. He brought the bento box next. The chicken was disgusting. It was slimey, had no taste to it, and it didn't even look like chicken. More like a byproduct of it. We couldn't even finish it! This is by far our favorite Chinese restaraunt in the area, Cindy and John(owners) are always warm and friendly when we arrive. The food is always good and fresh, the service is friendly and attentive. They have adjusted some of the combination plates for me which I'm not sure is the norm but it sure makes me feel good. I always try to look for authentic Chinese food around and I can see it in Asian Breeze. I try the pork intestine for appetizer and white cabbage pork hot pot. My husband tried their sushi platter. Overall I like my dish, they taste pretty authentic. My husband likes his as well and surprisingly my 3 year old toddler like the hotpot as well. The 2 dishes that I ordered I don't think most of the American would like to try and enjoy it. I will come back. read more

Asian Breeze is a large asian restaurant with a sushi bar bar in the back. Let me start by saying I have been to Asian Breeze only for lunch because it is such a fantastic deal! For lunch you can either chinese, japanese, or a sushi lunch. I ordered the chinese veggies with special sauce. First you get to pick between soup (either miso, egg drop, hot and sour, or chicken) I had the miso soup which was good with lots of seaweed (yum!). Then you pick from three appetizers (egg roll, crab rangoon, or chicken wings) I had the egg roll which was average, next you get to choose between brown or white rice with your meal. I had brown rice with my veggies which were steamed perfectly with a yummy salty/sweet sauce that went wonderfully with the rice. The service was fast and attentive. The amazing part is that for this entire meal plus hot tea on the house with tip my total was 7 dollars (plus I took home leftovers)! It's a yummy place with a great value! read more

When I do my Saturday chores, I like to pick up some shrimp tempura as finger food and munch on it while doing other stuff. Today, I decided to mix it up and try the luncheon for $5.95. Wow, really good! For six bucks, I had a choice of soup (WonTon), app (egg roll), rice (fried) and got the sweet/sour chicken. I love sweet/sour chicken and this was the best I ever had. For six bucks, the food was flavorful, fresh and well worth the money. I heard the luncheon specials rocked and now I know they do. I will definitely go back. Not only is there a large selection of different Asian food, everything I have tried is good. I was full for six bucks and now I have a couple leftovers as well! For an Asian Fusion restaurant, do not expect to come here and be in a rush to go somewhere else. You need to understand, this is not a typical fast-food-chinese-take-out place... everything is made fresh from scratch. They have two menus available: traditional american-recognized chinese, true japanese, a few thai-foods, a few korean all in one menu.... Then, they have their authentic menu of dishes to select from - these dishes are what they would consume in their home-country. While my husband likes familiarity, I prefer to order from the authentic menu where some foods are considered abstract/exotic to us, I like to have the true experience of what their cuisine truly has to offer. They work with only the 'real McCoy' here, taking trips to NYC and Boston to get their food orders, sushi-grade seafood and supplies. This isnt a sushi-stand at Shaws kind of place people... this restaurant takes food and food safety seriously. We always receive great service from the waitstaff - often joking with them, and they sure do pull some good jokes on us! We love it when the owners' daughter sits with us when she is there. She is a joy! Consider asking for one of their specials, or try a dish directly from their authentic menu... They have a pork/soured cabbage noodle bowl that is SUPERB! There is a very traditional Beef Noodle soup where they make homemade noodles, in a decadent broth with thinly shaved beef, baby bok-choy with a simple variety of seasonings. My friend and I stopped by the Asian Breeze yesterday for a quick bite to eat and a drink. I have no complaints about the food, drinks or service. However, there was an older "gentleman" in there who was extremely rude, aggressive, and disrespectful towards woman, especially the bartender. His childish behavior and vulgar language towards the bartender was appalling. Hearing a grown man call the bartender a c**** on a Wednesday afternoon was enough to me make lose my appetite. Asian Breeze is a fitting name for this restaurant because after eating their food, the first thing you'll need is a strong breeze blowing through your bathroom to mask the stench this establishment will create in your next bowel movement. I am talking straight mud, I didn't even recognize the inside of MY OWN toilet. I actually thought I was urinating through my anus. Besides the toll it took on my insides and having my intestines incinerated, lets not even get me started on the quality of the food and service. Long story short, the food arrived extremely late and was not even room temperature--truly an unenjoyable experience. To top it all off, our waitress wasn't even Asian! I am by no means a racist, but I figured these restaurants would come equipped with Asian employees to add to the experience and leave me feeling like had traveled to a distant country to acquire delectable asian food. This was clearly not the case, I haven't been this disappointed since I took my second girlfriend ever to see Gigli with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez(Bennifer) and she broke up with me before the movie even ended because it was THAT bad. I just came here for my birthday the other week with my family and once again had AMAZING sushi. They also have really good lo mein. They also came and brought me some green tea and red bean ice creams and sang to me. Not really a huge fan of the exotic ice cream but that is just because of personal preference. I suppose that I have to preface this review by saying that I'm not a huge fan of Chinese cuisine to begin with, and the first time that I dined at Asian Breeze, it was for sushi and cocktails. There was no incident during this visit. In fact, I was impressed by the margarita they served (and who opts for a margarita over the assortment of Tiki drinks offered? I was asking for disaster, but they delivered!). I don't really recall the food itself, which means it must have been at least OK, and we went with a group of people (of which I remember them enjoying their meals and drink well enough without complaint)--enough so that we ventured here again last night, passing several other Chinese food restaurants on the way. Unfortunately, this experience was a total dud, enough so where I question the restaurant's 4-star rating and felt compelled to write a review. 1) Not a complaint at all, but as an FYI: while this restaurant serves lunch combo plates during the day, it is a family-style dinner menu (i.e. no combo platers are offered in the evening, after 3:30pm, I think). This can tally up the need to order a whole lot of food to get multiple items, depending on what your group is in the mood for. We didn't know this until we got there. Had we remembered this detail, we would have gone elsewhere--just for convenience with everyone's different preferences. 2) My husband and best-friend ordered a Scorpion Bowl for 2. Now, I know that these are supposed to be boozy bowls (and I would rather a heavy pour over a liquor-less cocktail), but they were so strong that it was a struggle to drink it. Additionally, the waiter accidentally leaned in and knocked one of the straws to the floor (they are big and awkward; it happens, not a crime), but didn't apologize and needed to be asked to get a replacement. A slight peeve. 3) I ordered a miso soup and a side of steamed vegetable dumplings. Soup was OK--nothing spectacular, but I would order again. However, it was served with a regular spoon--not the typical Chinese soup spoon... heck, not even a real soup spoon, which made it very awkward to eat. The dumplings were a disaster altogether. The filling had OK flavor, but the exterior dough was awful: hard, thick and heavy, and dry. They tasted like they were old and/or microwaved. I muscled through half of one, my husband ate the other (to the same review), and I had to send them back. There was-again-no apology; no request to replace with something else, etc. He just took them back, and that was that--although it was taken off of the bill when it arrived 4) I ordered some tea. I was under the impression it would be served in a kettle with the little cup, as I am sure most people think of when they visit a Chinese restaurant. It came, already poured, in a coffee mug. It was stale and bitter, although (thankfully) at no charge. 5) My husband, best-friend, and 12-year old opted to share a Pu Pu Platter for 2, in order to get an assortment of offerings without having to order multiple side dishes. At $18, the platter arrived to disappointment. It was not served in the typical wooden platter/dish with the sterno flame (I'm sure everyone knows that I am talking about). Instead everything was piled onto a bed of shaved lettuce on a regular plate. Additionally, it was missing the shrimp listed on the menu. When we asked, we were told that they no longer offered shrimp on that dish and hadn't for some time. There was no apology, no offer to bring some shrimp (although, at the end of the meal--once everyone was done eating, the waiter showed up with 2 shrimp, free of charge, which was a slight consolation). As a vegetarian, I didn't eat any of the actual items, but they table's consensus was "meh". Nothing was gross, but nothing was really good. Everyone agreed that the best item was the chicken lo mein, ordered as another side. There was a generous amount of food leftover (surprising for 3 people sharing a dish meant for 2), but not really based on portion size. We declined bringing home any leftovers (which I think speaks volumes). 6) The tables themselves were missing silverware, with the exception of forks and a napkin (no knives, no chopsticks, no dishes for sauces, etc). Just seemed really lazy all around. 7) The waiter was pleasant enough, but inattentive and unresponsive to issues as they happened, and there was no apparent language barrier present that would make clear communication difficult... it just seemed like he didn't care. From start to finish, it just wasn't a good time. While I am normally one to tip well, we just couldn't find a reason to give 20%+ for the quality or service received. All in all--**if** the food was a little lower of a price level, I would chalk it all up to it being a divey restaurant where the food is OK but not impressive, the drinks are strong, and the service is lackluster. Perhaps it was an off-night for them, but as it stands now, I know that this will be my last visit here. read more

My experiences here are limited to the Japanese section of the menu. The sushi and sashimi here is the best in the Manchester area. Unlike others, Asian breeze doesn't rely on smothering every roll in a mess of spicy mayo and sweet sauce. Fresh fish is the highlight even in the special rolls. The seaweed salad and pork dumplings are great. The beer and drink menu is standard for a Japanese restaurant. The bar is semi connected to the dining area and on Friday and Saturday nights enough noise leaks into the restaurant to liven the place up a bit without being obnoxious. Rumor has it the bar is a major swinger destination. I'm not into the lifestyle, I'm here to dine in on sushi. But If I was I'd definitely try the take out. read more

Worst General tsao I've had. The food was cold and soggy and the lunch plate only came with an actual cup of rice.
