My wife actually found a small bug in the desert tray... I cannot say ut was a cockroach, but it was just nasty. A fly insect, or whatever should not of been any where near the food or on it...

We just ate here for dinner. All four of us loved it! Everything was fresh. You could see the steam coming off the food. The tables and floors were clean. The honey chicken was my favorite. The cream cheese wontons were to die for. We will be returning soon. PS: Not sure what the pink fluff raspberry dessert is cause it wasn't labeled but that was very really good too.

We went out planning to get Mexican in the area but on a Friday night it just didn't work out so we went back to the hotel and walked next door to this place. It's bright and clean and we were seated right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have lots of options from appetizers to entrees, sushi, hibachi, and dessert. Everything was fine but to be honest many of the chicken dishes tasted pretty similar and none of it was particularly hot. It's a buffet so our expectations weren't very high but it turned out to be fairly decent. We finished our meal with some little ice cream cups and walked out full. The price was reasonable at about $51 for the three of us.

We don't really like buffets, but this is the best Asian food we've encountered here. The Hibachi is the best! You choose your veggies, meats (chicken, shrimp, or beef), and have a choice of 2 noodles. Delish and freshly made. The egg drop soup is also good, and every week there are some new items. Today, pork chops Chinese style. And sesame seed coated nuts!! The seafood veggie dish today was particularly good. Great service. Senior discount keeps us coming back.

Broccoli beef, Fried shrimp, chicken nuggets, coconut shrimp and California roll.

This buffet is much larger and busier than the Asian Buffet in town. It is well managed, clean, and orderly. The prices are very reasonable. But, at the end of the day it is a buffet and you are not going to come away thinking you just had a fine dining experience. As before, most of the food I sampled would be in the "C" to "B-" range regarding flavor and quality with some items in the poor range. Nothing was real good or outstanding as you would expect. I found the meatloaf, the popcorn shrimp and sauce, the roasted potatoes, the hash browns, the fried chicken and the teriyaki chicken to be fairly good. The dinner rolls were mediocre as were the breakfast sausages and the onion rings. The pizza had a decent enough sauce but the crust resembled cardboard. The spaghetti was mediocre and the marinara sauce not so good. The fries and hush puppies were outright poor. The service was pleasant and efficient, The young women were doing a nice job of timely clearing tables and assisting people. I left feeling full, but not really satisfied with the overall dining experience. I left the restaurant not being sure I wanted to repeat the adventure! Rate the dining experience about THREE AND A QUARTER STARS. Ok for a large buffet but not the experience we look for when dining out. It of course all depends upon what you're after. If you just want to "pork out" for a reasonable price the Golden Corral is an option.

He stated that someone saw us putting food in baggies. When in reality, the baggies where cotton candy that I did not finish. So I took it with me, and my 76 year old mother put the roll that she did not finish in the baggy of my cotton candy. He persisted to say that I had food in my purse when I opened my purse and showed him that there were no other baggies with food in it. I felt humiliated disgraced and not even an apology from him. We normally eat at Golden Corral, at least 3 to 4 times a month. Not any more that's for dam sure. for me this is so humilium, so disrespecting. Tomorrow I will take them 3 dollars for taking the cotton candy and the dinner roll cuz I am an honest person that should not have been treated like a criminal. It's sad that that general manager was hard up for a cotton candy and a dinner roll.

I had the steak hibachi with shrimp and most others had the same. Some had sushi rolls which they said were good. The decor felt a bit dated and the air conditioning was poor in the part of the restaurant we were in even before the hibachi grill started. The food was ok generally with the typical preparation and show with fire and rattling of cooking utensils. I found my steak a bit overcooked and it needed a side sauce to give some extra flavor. The accompanying vegetables were fine with a mixture of broccoli, zucchini, onions, etc. The fried rice was terribly undercooked and crunchy. I took only a couple bites and couldn't eat the rest. Overall, it was a typical hibachi experience with nothing special food wise or presentation wise. It's ok if you want to take kids out for their first time to a hibachi or maybe if you want sushi but there are other options around town or in El Paso for Asian cuisine.

I would say that the effort put behind the food is high, but sometimes when you overreach you tend to miss the target. The food was fine... the fried rice was very salty due to the high amount of soy sauce it was drenched in. The proteins were adequate, but had "rubbery" texture to it which makes me believe all the meats are frozen, then thawed for service. I'm thinking back on the meal and nothing stood out... In terms of service though, the team is enthusiastic and the cook certainly put on an entertaining dinner show!

The vegetable biryani was good, no longer "aromatic (perfumey)", thankfully. Lots of different vegs. The kulcha was very good, as well as the samosas. It took a very long time to get the food - almost an hour - but I'm really not complaining. I've waited five years to come back here, so what's a few more minutes ;) But hopefully the next time won't be so long...or... so long. The inside is nicer than before with blinds instead of the curtains and overall a bit nicer and cleaner, fresher looking/feeling. In the middle of the summer, it was very hot inside. I don't eat much in restaurants anymore and had my food "to go" anyway. The outdoor seating is minimal, ratchety little seats and tables and in the sun. It'd be nice if that could be their next upgrade project. If you are looking for a buffet, they no longer have one. I for one, never did the buffet before covid and have ZERO desire to ever get food from a buffet ever. For those who don't understand why they haven't brought it back (perhaps they will in the future, who knows?), buffets are THE worst, most unhygienic places, full of bacteria, and why so many people through the years before covid have gotten sick after eating in buffet restaurants. I could care less if they ever bring it back, though it may be good for their business, esp during the lunch hour when people don't have time to wait for food. Overall, it's pretty good, and currently, it's the best Indian food in town. The only other place barely got started and doesn't have a full menu yet. Sadly, if the other Indian place gets going, and is any good, I probably will only be at India Hut once in a blue moon, as it is in a very hard to get to area from the Northeast side of town. I imagine this location would be good for NMSU students though, if they know it's here.

We got the Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Pork, the last dish was chicken with veggies - there are a few flavor options for this, such as Bourbon Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, etc. I got the Kung Pao. The food was pretty good. However, the chicken in the Kung Pao was kinda gross. It looked like it had been chewed and put back in there. Taste was "off". The Kung Pao is supposed to have some "heat" (flavor) to it, though it wasn't hot at all. Which was fine. We chose to get the meal without any added sauces. And everything was really good without sauce! The reason we do this is 1) Keto diet (sugar) and 2) (possibility of) MSG. Although, I don't think, from what we had, which was grilled with sauce, that there is MSG in their sauces. If so, very little. I can taste MSG, and I didn't taste it. The meats (except the Kung Pao) had a nice grill char to them which enhanced their flavor. We chose this place for lunch knowing that it was cafeteria style (dished/served by the employees) particularly, because one has only so much time for lunch when they are working. So it worked out very well. Very fast, with hardly any wait at all. I saw that one person who reviewed was upset with the cafeteria style service... I'm not sure what his qualm was. It isn't like random people are breathing on the food. It is the same people that cook it, so what is the problem.. And yes, food is served in styrofoam containers with plasticware. It IS a "fast food" Chinese restaurant afterall. Is it my favorite Chinese place in town. No. At least not at this time. Would we go back? Absolutely!
