The steak is excellent wish the rice was a little more flavorful but it isn't bad. Service It is always busy but they do a good job. Be aware they add a 20% tip to your bill automatically. Ambiance It is a family restaurant with limited indoor seating and more outdoor seating during good weather. Overall There aren't a lot of great options in Louisa but this is one of them. read more

We came as a party of 7 to sit outside on a busy Friday night. Ambiance was nice and it was very lively, but we enjoyed being able to sit outside and have a view of the water. The service was rather slow, but again, it was a busy night and they had lots of takeout orders. Drinks were not great, definitely recommend getting beer or wine and not a mixed drink. Our entrees came first and they forgot our salads/soups that came with the hibachi, but we told our waiter and he brought them out shortly after. The hibachi was really tasty and flavorful, the filet/shrimp combo was a hit. Didn't come out very hot though. We all thought it was a little odd that there was corn mixed in the fried rice for a hibachi meal? But not a huge deal. Veggies were also very flavorful. We got some sushi dishes as well that were decent! Pretty good portions and overall a solid meal, just don't come to expect quick service on a bus weekend night. We were on vacation with family for the 4th. They invited us to a family favorite restaurant. It was so warm and inviting. Everyone was attentive and kind. We came for lunch. They had a wonderful menu of various options. We had an edamame appetizer. It was really good. My husband had the hibachi steak lunch. My adult kids and I had the sushi lunch. It was lovely! The crispy crab roll was delicious! I would highly recommend their lunch! Give it a try! read more

Their Lunch Combo menu is a great deal. I ended up ordering the 3 rolls for $13.95 deal and a hot tea (which came in pretty large mug). Service was quick and friendly. The sushi I ordered were decent but not overwhelming. I took away that 1 star because their menu includes a "Sushi & Sashimi" option. This turns out to be what amounts to a bait-and-switch because you get EITHER 2 pieces of sushi OR 3 pieces of sashimi. They need to correct this to "Sushi or Sashimi" instead. However, I would do the 1-hour drive to visit there again. read more

Asia Cafe is the consistently best restaurant we have found at Lake Anna. Other restaurants have come and gone, but Asia Cafe has remained. This tells me that the owners don't just know how to make and serve great food. They also know how do run a business. This combination is not often found around the lake. Asian Cafe is a go to for us when visiting Lake Anna. We often get just 1 dinner as it is more than enough for two people to share. Dinners come with choice of soup or salad (with ginger dressing), fried rice, and vegetables. We typically order steak but their combos (e.g. steak/chicken, chicken/shrimp, etc.) are good too. Be sure to allow for 30 minutes if ordering take out on a weekend; the place stays very busy. Tables are always full and to go orders line the counter during the summer season. read more

Questioned them trying to pass off different fish in a roll that was supposed to have salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. The roll was only a single white flaky fish. I was told the chef used a cut of white salmon that was fatty (not a thing) and a type of white tuna. Very offputting and couldnt even finish my meal. Second roll had what looked like canned tuna. Take your money elsewhere since theyre obviously taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. read more

Ok, let's talk portions... Without knowing, my wife and I each ordered a hibachi meal (Filet and Chicken). It came with a small salad. We didn't even have to look in the to go container. The weight said it all. One of the meals fed both of us! We had an entire meal for the next day when we got off the lake. The meal was very good. I recommend getting it to go if you have the opportunity to eat elsewhere. It can get crazy busy with all the other shops there. Overall, great deal for good food. read more

They are good however they tend to be a bit ricey with a good lack of veggies average meat portion. It can be tasty at times.

The sushi and hibachi are always delicious. It's a very dependable dinner spot. Great central location too

As far as options on or around Lake Anna, this is probably the best one. The hibachi and the sushi are reliably good every time and the portions (for hibachi) are quite generous. The lunch menu is a great value! I wish they were open on Mondays since I often find myself at the lake on long weekends and wanting lunch on Mondays, but they're closed. But good for them for taking a day off! read more

We were just passing through and decided to try this unassuming restaurant in a strip mall. There is not much ambiance and the interior is pretty small. The service and food; however, are very good. Soup came with both meals, and it was tasty. My spouse had the Eel Cucumber roll and Shrimp Tempura roll which he enjoyed. I was happy they served the "good" ginger - the yellow stuff not fake hot pink stuff. I ordered the filet mignon lunch plate from the grill. I asked for them to go light on the sauce which they happily obliged. It came with a large serving of rice and vegetables. The filet was delicious. It was cooked perfectly at medium rare. The steak was served in large chunks and it was a very generous portion. I highly recommend this dish and you can't beat the lunch price. We will most definitely return. read more

I had to find a new place to get sushi since my favorite restaurant closed. This place is delicious. The sushi is always fresh and the miso soup is flavorful. Only downside is that the specialty rolls are a little pricey. read more

The last few times we have eaten here the service has been exceptionally slow. It has taken around 45 minutes from the time we are seated until the first food showed up. I understand that most places are short handed but I find this to be extreme. The last time we ate here the floor had quite a bit of spilled food on the floor near the entrance but no one cleaned any of it up, not real appetizing. read more

Oh, I love this restaurant! It is now been updated with nice lighting and new wine glasses, and various other small touches which make the ambiance nice. The service is attentive and the food is really really good! They even have a decent glass of wine for a reasonable price. Delicious hibachi! I had the fillet mignon hibachi and my wife got the ribeye and chicken. Both were very tasty and very large servings. The rice and vegetables were very good as well.
