Good selection of different Asian foods, including typical sushi, American Chinese, and Western fried foods. We had dinner there yesterday and were surprised to find everything hot, even later in the evening, and staying hot all throughout. I was impressed by the staff changing out food trays and tongs regularly. I would say that they do need to work on their two noodle selections and soups. The two noodles (lo mein and mei fun) weren't really flavorful, and 2 out of the 4 soup selections (wonton and hot & sour) weren't particularly memorable. Didn't have a chance to try the Mongolian style grill but was surprised to see it offered at a buffet. My boyfriend loved the sushi (I'm a lot pickier), and their cold dessert was average. I enjoyed the food very much! If you're a fan of Asian food, I recommend getting the orange chicken, honey chicken, egg noodles, and the shrimp. The salt and pepper squid could have been improved because of its rubbery texture and soggy exterior. The sushi was good, but I recommend eating it with the pickled ginger. This place is awful. They change price as they see fit. The food is mediocre. We went here at 9pm on Saturday. They closes at 10:30. I don't know if it was because my kids and I went on a Sunday and it was busy but the food.. was fresh... still hot... they offer the usual Asian dishes... and American stuff...the creme de la creme for me was the "Mongolian grill" option... it was a smaller scale than Genghis but just as good.. fresh egg options.. protein.. n veggies and he cooks it up right there ... that alone was worth the price of the buffet... and if you're not careful that'll fill you up ... aside from the food because I could go on and on... our waiter was AWESOME... he was attentive despite the busy environment he kept out drinks filled without us having to ask... it was like he was there as soon as it was less than half full... lastly.. and this was just as fantastic... as the food and service... the bathroom was clean... My boyfriend and I go almost every Friday, all you can eat crab legs for $11.99 and the legs are pretty big. Just be sure you bring a bib, juices galore! I personally dig the hibachi area, fried rice with all the vegetables and meat you can shake a stick at. Mmm, in fact we just finished eating there. My granddaughter was with a large graduation party last night for her Tongan cousin. The restaurant went around and counted all of the Tongan people and charged the person paying for the party for every one of that race. They would not believe her when she told them the number of people in their party and they overcharged for 10 people who were located in a different part of the restaurant. On a Sunday night, this is a considerable amount of money. The manager tried to make amends by giving six of the people a free buffet but the person paying did not WANT free buffets and he did not give the 6 free buffets to her and she doesn't know WHO he gave the free tickets to! This does not pay back the person who was overcharged. I will not ever eat at this buffet again and I will be sure all of my many friends on Facebook know about this racist action. I would revise this review if the restaurant would acknowledge their error and refund her the money. read more

Chinese food, hibachi, sushi and sashimi, fried seafood food, a large salad and fruit bar...even french fries and soft serve ice cream...they've got it all! So mad at myself cause I knew better. Just left Asian King and I'm still cooling off from such a lousy meal. First off, I could have taken my family to Yichiban in Euless or China Harbor in Arlington for a way better quality buffet, but we were shopping nearby so yeah, I messed up and went here. I suggest anyone going to a buffet to look at the food first before you sit down. I saw that the sushi didn't look so great, but I figured the cooks would being making more fresh, HA! They were too busy on their cell phones to notice food dried up and the sushi bar was a mess. We should have walked out, but I wanted to believe the crab would make the meal. Had none, as soon as a little bit came out it was scooped up by the 2 or 3 people waiting at the trough. Had to point out to the manager that spillage and food dryness looked bad. Of course I understand keeping down food costs, but come on! If no one is eating an entree, it must be unappetizing. Don't just let it sit, repace it! So many dishes were either missing or been sitting too long. Ultimately I had to ask the manager, "What is the matter with buffet looking so bad! He apologized and gave me a discount on our bill. Took $4 off a $50 bill. Wow! Thank you! Sad how Asian King used to be good, but I took a chance. Won't happen again. read more
