System board crapped out in less than 2 years. Even an initial setup was very tricky and was working very unstable. It eventually stopped working but I wouldn't know what components are bad. Replaced CPU and RAM, removed GPU but still won't boot. Just red LED lights indicating CPU and RAM problem which I already replaced. Opened a ticket with ASRock, described what I have done, email comes back from support telling me to do the bunch of things I've already done which are mentioned on the ticket. So I replied saying what I have done are already mentioned on the ticket so stop wasting my time and let's move on to the next step and the attached photo is the reply I got from the support person. I work for IT support. Not to mention I would never say things like that to my customer, I've never seen a support reply like that as a consumer. I think their product is so garbage, they must be frustrated themselves too. If you have a garbage product, at least have a decent support people. read more

My motherboard died. I sent in an RMA. They even let me bring in the board and drop it off since I live locally. They sent on a new motherboard. The whole process took a couple of days. They even helped my troubleshoot and figure out my CPU had an issue. I replaced that CPU as well and everything worked perfectly. I was very happy with their service. Fortunately, my motherboard was still under warranty. I definitely recommend getting an ASROCK motherboard. read more

Purchased a defective video card manufactured by this company. I get it, it happens. I shipped the card back and they informed me they would not honor the warranty due to a claimed broken warranty seal on the card. This is an explicitly illegal practice banned by the Magnuson Voss Warranty Act. The FTC has been very clear about this. The company has been informed this practice is illegal and they refuse to understand the law and their warranty. Earlier in the year, I purchased all of the components to build a new PC. The motherboard for this build was an ASRock Taichi x570, which is a top of the line, $300 motherboard. When I first received all of my components, I followed ASRock's instructions for configuring my PC. Although every component I purchased was on ASRock's support list for my motherboard, my new build would not work. It took over two weeks of working with ASRock's technical support to finally get my PC to work, and it was only fixed by them sending me a beta version of one of their drivers. Everything seemed great for the next month or so, until my new motherboard decided to stop working a few weeks ago. After spending another week troubleshooting with ASRock, I eventually received authorization to send my motherboard back in for a warranty replacement. More than two weeks later, I finally received my replacement motherboard, but it isn't the same version as what I sent in. That's right, over 3 weeks without my computer, and they sent me the wrong motherboard as a replacement. When I tried to call them earlier today, I realized that their phone system has been turned off. I reached out to them on Facebook, and they ignored my question about their phone number, and directed me to the form on their website to file a support ticket. I understand that many companies require you to submit support tickets online, the problem though is that ASRock will only send you 1 email a day, which takes weeks to make any real progress. I have tried calling, I sent 3 different individuals in their company an email, and I have submitted their online form, without any progress or response from ASRock. read more

The worst experience I have ever had with a customer service dept. in my life (and I am old). I bought one of their MOBO's to build a simple home office computer and it wouldn't boot on initial startup. I performed every trouble shooting task known to mankind. The vendor replaced the MOBO for me. Same result. I replaced the CPU, PSU etc. Still no love. I contacted Asrock America for help. The tech thought it might be an outdated BIOS and asked me to send the board with CPU and RAM for him to fix, then transferred me to customer service rep for shipping address etc. The service rep asked me to send copy of invoice from vendor, which I did. He never followed up with me or provided shipping info, wouldn't answer my emails or return phone calls. I will never buy another ASRock product again. Be forewarned; stay away. read more

I had what I thought was a motherboard problem so I went through their RMA process. They count the 14 day advance RMA from the time of approval, then don't ship their unit for 4 days which arrives 4 days later right before a 3 day weekend leaving only 3 days for the return. I barely made that cutoff, then found the unit they sent me was damaged in transit. There's where the "fun" started. It took a week of arguing with them before they accepted something really was wrong with the board and offered an RMA. I wasn't convinced because the last one they sent me was damaged as well as defective. I file a claim with the carrier and am quickly deadlocked because I'm not the shipper and the shipper hasn't submitted a waiver. I ask ASRock for a waiver, they say they'll do it and don't. I go back and forth between them and the carrier 3 times. Meanwhile it's been almost a month, I've already bought a Z170 board from a different manufacturer then returned that painlessly because I didn't realize a Z270 was coming out. ASRock won't let me return the no longer needed damaged board for a refund and won't write a 2 sentence email on my behalf. If I could give negative stars I would, atrocious customer service and very arrogant call center staff. Would not buy ASRock products ever again, would advise everyone I know likewise. The best part? My original problem was actually the power supply! There was actually nothing wrong with the first board so I'm now out the cost of 2 boards - the first originally working one and the second I bought new retail because this was going nowhere. read more

I ordered a motherboard in june this year. Was building a computer, and saw that the motherboard I ordered got overall good reviews. Had a technician come over to my house to help me build it. When it was finished, it would not turn on or start. He said the motherboard was defect. I called to get a replacement. I did everything Asrock told me to do. (RMA forms, Motherboard serial number, invoice receipts, etc) They would not answer my emails to them, and the customer service was awful. it took me a MONTH just the get a replacement motherboard. Finally, when it got to my house, I opened the box. the motherboard was there but no accessories (ioshield and sata cable.) I sent my accessories prior to reading the email that they sent saying don't return accessories. it took another week on the phone and trying to get them to send my accessories back. I had to remind them to ship the two little accessories out! this just shows their incompetence. I will never order from them again, unless absolutely necessary. read more
