After speaking with David at Costco I was contacted by Associated Heating & Air, set up an appointment and met with technician Victor who immediately diagnosed my problem. Victor explained everything in a simple and understandable way so that when he departed I was confident what to do. I didn't really care for the technician that went. His name is Victor Salazar. The issue with my service request was more maintenance related from what he poorly explained. He came off condescending and argumentative while explaining the process and stated that I should know about the regular maintenance that's required. Well, I didn't know because It wasn't mentioned before. I don't recall being offered a membership for regular maintenance from them. He said if I had the membership it would be cheaper and I asked if I could join the membership so I could save money and he said no. It felt like they're just trying to charge as much as possible, not really considering the customer. I told him to do the service, even though it felt extremely overpriced because I wanted the AC unit to work as it has been 90°+ and didn't want to wait longer. I was disappointed with the customer service and would look elsewhere if you're not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for service. read more

Citlalli Soria did a maintenance service for our home. She worked for almost 2 hours on Saturday noon. She thoroughly cleaned the AC in attic and outside in the yard, tested the AC all parameters and changed the air filter. She is courteous and considerate. She put on shoe cover when working inside the house. This is in a big contrast to a long beach city inspector, who refused to take shoe covers, refused inspection because the ladder was not laid there, , canceled the inspection despite the ladder was placed there blaming schedule overbooked.... read more
