Stopped in for an afternoon caffeine fix. Their peach matcha had nice quality matcha, which you can automatically tell from the green color of the matcha itself. The peach was really refreshing once you mix the drink altogether. I found this place when visiting Inglewood, and it has the best of both worlds. My husband collects vinyls and we love trying new coffee spots, so this was the perfect place for that! He ended up finding a dope vinyl (Currency) and we loved our coffee. All the coffees are plant based which is also a plus, we're open to that idea! You couldn't even tell that the milk was not dairy. The dopest cafe in the area! If you're wondering if you should check this place out, the answer is a hard yes! Given my recent visit, I loved seeing them thrive! The place was lively with good vinyl playing. Even with the good number of folks, there were still plenty of tables and seating. I snagged one by the window, perfect for getting some work done. I came on a gloomy day and ordered a hot Americano with vanilla. It was delicious and warmed me right up! The espresso was mild, with no acidity, and the vanilla added the right amount of sweetness. No milk necessary! I also purchased a Lenny and Larry's cookie. It went well with my drink. The drink and cookie cost $10.64 without tip. There is plenty of free street parking! My one visit was AMAZING! Knowing I can order my coffee and then browse through the vinyls meanwhile its getting prep is so great! I managed to meet the owners and they're both sweet! I didn't catch your name but the one who served me the drink let me look through some unmarked/unopened vinyls that haven't been put on floor yet. That alone made me so thankful for the experience! They're so transparent with the prices they showed me what the average was for mint vs very good condition. They're Latino owned and have a TON of latine/spanish vinyls of all kinds. Came here for the coffee only, had an interesting vibe but definitely not my style. The coffee shop was nice and clean and the service was great, the barista was giving recommendations since it was our first time here and we were asking him what's good. They had some really interesting sounding flavors, and we got the Mocha De Olla latte iced and Cafe De Olla latte hot and both were great! What was interesting about this shop is that it was vegan only so they didn't have whole milk. I think that was the main negative from my end, since whole milk would have made the drink creamier and the only other negative was that it seemed pricier for the size + price. What a great random find! While attending an event at so-fi stadium, we randomly came across this cafe and what a great spot! It is filled with records, local artists, and great little arts and crafts for purchase with a GREAT quality cafe in the back. We ordered 3 different coffees and I couldn't tell you which was best cause all of them were so good! I noticed the quality with the first sip and I'm so happy we stopped by! I live close by but never stopped into the shop. A friend of mine was turning 50 and requested records as her gift of choice and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to support this local business. I was on the other side of town picking up my kids from school and called to ask if they could stay open just 10 minutes longer than usual and the owner happily obliged. I was sooo happy to pick up some records for my friend (which she totally loved). They had a great selection and nice price points as well. What an awesome hidden gem in Inglewood. I'm a coffee snob and always in search of great spots in my neighborhood. I came across this one and to my surprise, it doubles as a vintage record shop! Happy to find this spot. It's not a big location but don't let that fool you. I came across some great original vinyls in great condition. It's not only a record store but they're serving cafe beverages and there's even a nice library of books to choose from. You could spend a couple hrs here easily if you truly love music. I needed to kill some time while waiting to pick up a friend at LAX and decided to look up some vinyl coffee shops. Came across Asteriod Vinyl Cafe on yelp and headed over. Upon arrival, the cafe is on a corner of a Main Street. I entered the cafe and was amazed by the amount of vinyls. I immediately was greeted by the owner I believe. I ordered a cafe de olla iced latte. They have only non dairy options for milk but it's not a big deal for me. Coffee was a bit strong but it definitely woke me up! lol 7/10 On to the vinyls, I browsed around different genres. Prices were listed and were budget friendly if you're not looking for a limited collectible edition. I scored a few vinyls that reminded me of my dad's music taste. Selection on the Latin genre was a bit small but mighty! 9/10 Art decor was so captivating and for sale. Will be back if I'm in town! :) read more

Everything is immaculately clean and all records are graded visually and sonically. One appeal for Japanese vinyl is the brilliant production and quality of the pressings on virgin vinyl. Sonically they have a nice appeal, too. The vintage gear lends another dimension, and the owner is the tech guy, also. He showed me a box of vintage vacuum tubes, all graded by strength, and balance, which are important considerations for audio use, and in guitar amps. The old stuff was primarily built for military usage first, and commercial applications second. New Old Stock (NOS) will outlast tubes made today in Russia or China. Mere weeks ago that very same CD bit the dust; skipped over way too many movements. I washed it, talked to it but it was gone... Yeah, I know there's a myriad of more technologically advanced listening platforms but I'm old school. Enter Record Surplus (The Westside's Amoeba equivalent?) for replacement and much, much more. This place is HUGE! If you can't find disks, vinyl here perhaps it doesn't exist. Ah, but it does! Knowledgeable staff will help you find what you seek. Was looking for something to spend my day off and found this wicked place on Apple Maps! First time there. I already knew this place was going to be awesome with the MF Doom playing in the background and the smell of coffee in the air! :) Everything from the vinyl on the wall, posters and the pop culture souvenir felt like my room lol. Tired there A la hoya coffee with oat milk very creamy texture and had the right amount of sweet and bitter taste of the coffee so good!! Asteroid Vinyl is new but won't disappoint you! It is a small record shop with plenty of records to choose from. I stumbled across it today on my way home. It's looking pretty good so far. I'm sure it will make a fine record store someday. Not to say that it isn't already. For being only one week open they have variety and hospitality. Two employees were very kind and welcoming. I stopped by this café in Inglewood and absolutely loved it! The coffee was so good and yummy, smooth and freshly brewed. The staff was also friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The shop has such a cool vibe with old records, vintage art work and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. I also love that they give back to the community, really shows they care about more than just great coffee. They had a Father's Day special and gave me a fantastic café de olla latte for free. I was looking for a specific record they didn't have, but Joseph went above and beyond to help me order it. Grits weird and salty and breakfast bowl over salted and low quality ingredients. The only savior was the coffee.. maybe they should just stick to being a coffee house and shut down the kitchen.

Their vast selection of pastries are displayed behind a thick layer of glass on the counter. They offer outdoor seating and there is a whole other section of seating next door when the main cafe is crowded. My friend recommended the espresso dul'sal, which is made with Black Lava Sea Salt, and my kiddo got a blueberry-ube kouign amann (not sure of the exact name). Both the drink and pastry were delicious; the espresso was so creamy and the sea salt cut through the sweetness, and there was real ube inside the pastry. We sat and enjoyed our late morning snack in the next-door seating. I would highly recommend stopping by when you're in El Segundo!

Each one looked delicious. One of my coffee-loving friends ordered an ice white mocha with strawberry cloud foam. She really liked it and would give it a 4.5/5. My friend who doesn't really enjoy coffee ordered the strawberry cloud matcha. She gave it 5/5 and said "solid matcha." My other coffee-loving friend ordered an iced hazelnut latte and she enjoyed it too, giving it 4/5.

I went in to look around and wanted to buy some plants. The person behind the counter acted like they were better than everyone else. They didn't say hello or ask if I needed help--just sat there reading a book in silence. But when an older white lady walked in, they suddenly said hi. I thought I was imagining it the first time, but the exact same thing happened on my second visit. I also bought a plant during my first trip. Everything feels a bit overpriced too. I was trying to support a small Asian-owned store, but I guess I shouldn't bother. Some people just want to be stuck up. I probably won't go back. Good luck to them.

The breakfast sandwich was a generous portion on a warm brioche bun with thick bacon, egg, chipotle sauce, and fresh greens. We also tried the churros, which were clearly made fresh to order. They were not overly sweet, perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The horchata coffee was absolutely divine and something I would come back just for. Everything here is made fresh, and you can taste the difference. The outdoor seating area with music created such a joyful, relaxing atmosphere and made the whole morning feel special. We understand places get busy with little staff but the cashier/barista yelled at both my boyfriend and her co worker. When I ordered there was four seperate customers behind me which we all ordered similar items as me. We thought she called our order first which was a misunderstanding on our part the barista then yelled at her co worker saying "it's not his" "i said it's not his" then when my boyfriend backs up she yells "it's not yours!" It was a simple mistake but did not mean she could yell at her co worker and a paying customer. Like I said we understand first hand being understaffed since my boyfriend and I work in the hospitality/food business. But the barista was just wiping the counter while she had 4 drinks without lids then it took her even longer to take our order plus 2 other customers orders came out when we all ordered similar items (just beverages.)
