Food: spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy yellowtail. All were great rolls! Service: great, we called for takeout and the food was ready in about 20 mins, friendly staff Ambience: small quaint place Parking: in a shopping center plenty of parking Cost: the lunch special was about $15 for 3 basic rolls, a great deal Overall: Would go for lunch

Red curry chicken - so mushy and lacking in flavor and care in preparation

The sushi is very good! Some of the best around. They help you out a ton when asking for recommendations as well.

Best quality Chinese takeout and sushi in the area by far. Not the cheapest but not unreasonable.

Excellent food. Love the sushi. Best in West Chester. Order early, crowds at typical dinner time for pick up.

Great food - we choose to take out because it's kind of small inside. I like their pad Thai!

You have a reservation are you still coming (let us know if your cancelling, so we can maximize our profit) 2, If you bring your own wine we charge 3. If you bring your own dessert we charge. 4. If you miss your reservation we charge you $50. We took a break, as it was so overwhelming to feel the above pressure on a special occasion. Then we decided to go there on a TUESDAY. Place was empty. And it was for a birthday dinner. Our waiter Chris was not attentive, at all. We ordered our main course, which was not that much food. An hour later we finally got to eat. The waiter, who did nothing, no drink follow-up, no how's your meal follow-up, got an automatic 20% tip. And to top it off he decided on his own to bag our birthday dessert and send us off on our way, which we all couldn't understand. We didn't even get to sing happy birthday. $551 dollar tab. Sometimes great places hit a fork in the road. They either get better or nosedive into a place you avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, you're cuckoo if you still think Teikoku is a great place to spend $551. You've been warned.

Frequent visitor, come here for quick bite to eat…read more This review is for: a family-style ramen restaurant. Ambiance: Very open, cold warehouse vibe, but clean. Seating: Tables. Service: Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Great service! Crowd: Mixed. Drinks: No alcohol. Food: Good ramen and pork buns. Restrooms: Clean Parking: Street parking. Value: Ok Experience: Come here often because it is convenient and it is always consistent. I'll be back.

We came here after coming back from Hawaii two days ago. We were pleasantly surprised…read more The BBQ short ribs were tender and juicy. The flavor was salty and sweet. The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. This was a good way to revisit our vacation!

I was in West Chester, PA, for a special event at the QVC/HSN studios, on Sunday, March 23, 2026. HSN host, Bobbi Ray Carter retired after 43 years, on-air. Lovely live studio audience event. I stayed at The Warner Hotel, which was very pleasant and only 2 blocks from TSUNAMI, my Sushi Lunch Favorite!! (I'm from NYC, so this calm, chill music vibe is much appreciated! ) I recommend TSUNAMI. If I was staying longer, I'd also try some of the Thai food offered here, too. Yesterday, I did see a lovely iced Thai Tea or Thai Coffee, not sure which, but it looked great. Enjoy a meal here. And relax. And, the gelato place almost next door, was enjoyable last night. And the homemade candy place a block down was good too. Milk chocolate peanut butter homemade cups, very good. Nice area to stroll ...and enjoy some additional sweet treats, if you wish...or just stroll.

We got the pad thai and pad see ew. I guess I should have guessed that this would not be very authentic because I was debating between the drunken noodles and pad see ew and was told that they were the same except that one had spice and the other did not. Another person in our group had the new york teriyaki hibachi. I had a bite and it was better than the Thai dishes, but probably not good enough to make me want to go back. The pluses: Portions are very generous and the service is great. They also offer a lunch menu from Monday through Saturday. The minuses: the Thai dishes have a spin to them and do not taste anything like the dishes they are named after. Overall, I wish I liked the food more but this spot would probably appeal to folks that are not looking for more authentic Thai dishes.

The restaurant is clean and nicely maintained, and I liked the cool ambiance. We started with pan-fried pork and chicken dumplings. They were the perfect texture and temperature and the sauce was good. I only tried one of the pork dumplings, which by itself lacked flavor. I enjoyed the delicious Tom Kha Gai soup -- best part of my meal. I ordered the Red Hot Roll, which was beautifully presented but was just OK. It was not spicy at all and had a weird aftertaste. I couldn't put my finger on it: I thought it was the wasabi or avocado, but it still tasted funny without them. It was disappointing. The teens had Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rolls, which they liked but also noticed a subtly odd flavor. They finished with tempura fried ice creams (one vanilla, one chocolate) and I had a green tea ice cream. No issues there. Service was satisfactory. Our server was attentive and accurate, and our water glasses stayed filled. Overall, it was average -- not bad, but nothing special. I would probably not return.
