This location has the most incredible liars, they have a manager Jessica Parrell, who hands down the skill of mentoring her staff to lie. I am still waiting a return call, going on two weeks still no phone call, even when I call , I am told she will return my call. Do not do business with David Garay or Jessica Parell, and do not get suckered into signing up for Direct TV, they do not let you know that they run a hard inquiry on your credit, also if you sign up you a bound to a 24 month contract with an early termination fee which starts at $480. read more

Went to the store to add my fiance to my plan and store had 5 ATT employees of which 3 were helping one customer, the other taking inventory and other helping an irate customer. Meanwhile there were only 2 customers waiting to be helped including us. After walking in store, none of the reps greeted us, and after spending 15 minutes looking at the phones, no one came over to help, and when we approached the counter, they asked for us to go to the kiosk by the entrance to sign in to be called from their list. We signed in and waited for another 10 minutes and nothing changed and we left. Very disappointing service and felt they were snobby towards the customers. read more

Like one review said, I wish Yelp has negative star.... I am here, in the store, writing this review now. It's been 30 minutes since I'm here, and I'm still not getting served. That speaks for everything. Oh, and let's see how long I can type this review, then you'll know how many additional minutes I wait. I even have time to correct my typos.... So, there are only three representatives in the store when we came in. Each one is busy selling and comparing different phones to customers. Not that it's wrong, but if your sales rep are also in charge of selling, which takes longer time, you want to take that into consideration when arranging man power. The lady who checked us in are not doing anything else (besides wandering around), and the manager is not doing anything, either (besides telling us that we need to just "wait for couple more minutes....) I'm kind of out of words.... And it's another 10 minutes passed. I transferred service from T-Mobile, based on their commitment to give me $300 transfer rebate per phone, along with a $200 credit for trading in my old cellphone, total of $500 credit per line. As I was getting spotty service with T-Mobile, I decided to move to AT&T. The family has a total of 5 lines. I got confirmation from AT&T sales representative that the $300 per line credit would be on my bill within 60 days of sign up. As for the $200 trade in credit, the representative told me that I had to take our old phones to an AT&T store and they would give me a gift card. I called the store in Brea to inquire how much time I had before the offer expires. The salesperson told me I had 30 days from receipt of my phone. So on the 14th day, after I got my phone we went into the AT&T store to get our gift cards. The first employee we talked to was not very service oriented. I told him that we were here for the trade in rebate and he said when did we get our new phones. I said about 2 weeks ago and his response was well we missed the window. I explained that I called the store to verify how much time I had and he said that I had the information wrong. We went back and forth and I could tell he was not sympathetic. Finally, I said let me talk to a manager. He went to the back and said she would be out. We waited 10 minutes and no one came. Finally, I asked the sales rep what was taking so long. He said she must be busy. When she finally came out, she said I missed the the window. I told her it was one of her people that gave me the wrong information and now I would be out $1,000, which is not right. She asked me to identify the person, but I did not get a name when I called the store. I told her she is basically telling me to eat the $1,000 that I was promised and she reiterated that I had passed the window period, not helpful at all! By now I had spent the last 20 to 25 minutes at the store with no luck. I was not giving up, as $1,000 is not small change. My next step was to call the Corporate office. The customer service area said they could not help me. By this time, I was so upset that I decided to cancel service. The person on the cancellation line said they should be able to help. They asked to speak to the store manager and told her to honor my trade in, as I was within my promo window! Today was the 14th day, so still within the 2 weeks. It should not be this difficult. People should be service oriented and honor their commitments. The store was willing to lose my business, instead of doing the right thing. VERY DISAPPOINTING! read more

I visited this store over the weekend to port over 3 lines, I was approached by Alma who appeared to be friendly. I advised her that I want to port 3 lines and use my current UNLOCKED phones as soon as I said they she told me it wasn't possible which I knew was a LIE being that I worked in the wireless industry for over 2 years! Went in to the store just to look at iPhone Xmax and all I can say that the employees are friendly especially the manager Ferdinand De Los Reyes. Ferdinand took his time to explain products and provided comparison with the different iPhone models. All I can say is that this manager is very smart and I must say he knows a great deal and he is very clear with his explanations. I asked a great deal of questions and he didn't once get frustrated or upset. Even my aunt was satisfied with the excellent customer service we received. I would highly recommend anyone who has inquiries, to speak with him as I know he would help. Keep up the great job!!! read more

Came in to inquire about buying a phone. I get told that if I buy a phone, I get another for free. Whoa! That sounds too good to be true, so I ask for details just to make sure there's no catch. No, just do it this month. I come in the next day to buy the two phones. As I'm signing, I ask one last time - this is buy 1 get 1 free, right? NO! I have to buy U-Verse for that promotion. You have to sign in and wait your turn to get service. Even though we're wandering the store looking at the phones and accessories, no one bothered to come up and ask us anything. I went in with my mom so she could get our plan fixed with her Iphone. She bought her Iphone at the Apple store and we had to get our internet and phone plans sorted out. The employee that was helping us seemed friendly but didn't really help us all that much. He gave us new sim cards which later messed up our internet plans since my phone's internet stopped working. W e had to go back to our local AT&T store a couple of days later. In addition, my mom also asked if he could help her with putting on a screen protection cover. He just replied: "I'm not really good at this. You can do it yourself." Really? What kind of customer service is that? The only positive thing about this is that I received a free USB charging cord for my Blackberry from the manager. I asked about it and was about to buy it but he just gave it to me. Now if that one employee just followed his manager's example and actually helped out a customer, then everything would have been gravy. read more

The inside of the store is nice, but that's about it. The salespeople are sneaky and deceptive. They will act nice and then sign you up for plans and features that you never intended to sign up for. What they do at this store potentially qualifies as fraudulent behavior. I suppose they escape from getting in trouble because you can go back and fix it within 30 days once you get the bill and see what they did, but it is a tremendous hassle. read more

STAY AWAY! This place is a joke. We only came back since our last experience was good. Well not today!!!!!! We get there check in wait a couple min then get approached by bash. We decided on a phone in 7min (appointment was at 12:00, looked at phones while we waited) we asked if they had the phone in stock, yes. Great sat down waited he says they didn't have black but white or blue. Ok, decided and then he says ok XR white NO we want the XS so then he said no problem. We have gold and black. He goes in the back but another guy (didn't get his name) comes out and says sorry I had to send bash on lunch, um ok. And he says gold XS NO! BLACK XS because bash said you had the black one. ANOTHER ten min later he comes back and says sorry we don't have ANY in stock. He did look at other AT&T and I asked do I have to wait at that one and he said yes unless I make an appointment like wtf! Waste my time!! All they had to say was we don't have them in stock in the first place and it would have been fine but I wasted 30min of my time for nothing!!!! Fast forward 1hr and 12 min later I have my new phone, THANK YOU La Habra AT&T for holding my phone waited under 5 min for help no appointment and in and out! So if you want to waste your time go to Brea, lesson learned we won't be back! read more

Worst customer service... Walked in had to find the person you have to check in with, did that and said cone person in front of you be a few minutes. Store was not busy and 2 staff where talking asked to help and said we can only check you in then after maybe 7 min one of them walks over and assist the person whom was in front of me while the other roams the store. Mind you this is 8.25pm and almost time to close. This is why I always try take care of issues on the web and phone. No respect for your time and no customer service. If I could, I would rate this store as zero. Customer service 0 You have to sign in and wait... And wait! There were more staff in store than customers.. But waited and waited! You got it? 20 months ago, a sales guy persuaded me to take out insurance on my iPhone, at 6.99 a month. Turns out he added another 3.00 for a mobile ins? When I finally need the insurance after 20 months times $10, yes $200, turns out I have to pay a deductible of $199. A piece of information omitted at the time! So annoyed! Complete waste of money. This is the worst AT&T store. I came here to buy my iPhoneX and worked with a young Asian guy (can't remember his name) who "sold" us Direct TV as an add on. We tried so many times to cancel by phone it was literally impossible. Every month we would continue to be charged even after being told we had successfully cancelled. When we went into the store to FINALLy resolve the issue we were basically told that unless we specifically remembered THE GUY we worked with they could do nothing. They finally "cancelled" our membership (we shall see in the next month if it still shows up on my bill) but could not get reimbursed for months of a service we had been told by many customer service reps was cancelled. There is absolutely no accountability from this company to back up the MISTAKES of their employees and all you get is the run around. Horrible customer service and I can't feel like i was straight up SCAMMED. Hate to write such a horrible review but I own a small business and I would not be able to sleep at night if I treated my customers this way. read more

AT&T Digital Life is a joke! We were talked into it when we went in to lower our bill. We are now paying more than before and stuck in a service that is useless. After 6 months we found out our fire & alarm systems are not connected to the police or fire without a city permit! We have been trying all that time to get a discount on our homeowners insurance. NO ONE from AT&T ever told me a permit was required. Nor does it say anywhere on the web site. Permits are not free, they cost 67.00 for 2 years. We have been AT&T customers for over 12 years and this is the straw that broke the camels back!!! They made us feel we were safe and protected. All we have that works is a keypad entry. Thank goodness we didn't need the police or fire in the past 6 months. read more

If I could rate this location 10 stars i would rate it 1000 stars . Truly exceptional customer service. I was two inches from leaving AT&T but due to the excellent associates that AT&T has both in their stores and on the phone I stayed. The only down side is that I had to buy a new phone cause my old one sucked. So I'm back to an iPhone. Oh while i was at the store I had a great customer service rep her name was Megan must say great person and very knowledgeable about the products that AT&T has to offer. It really felt good that she went out of her way to explain everything in detail and didnt just give me the bear minimum info to get me out of the store. Consistently horrible customer service. My son went in to activate his newly upgraded phone. The person who greeted him told him they couldn't activate it at the store. She suggested he should call the activation number. There was no reason he could not have activated the phone at the store with their help and some info from me. Too much work for them so they sent him away. When I called to complain I was given a superficial sorry for the inconvenience and a polite brush off. I would recommend taking ATT Brea's advice and avoid going into that branch. Customer service on the activation line was excellent. My name is george when my Family and I went to open an account with AT&T they had promised us a credit of $150 for each line that has been since October 2018, we have been dealing with this situation since then with bunch of promises from agents, today I had to call AT&T support spoke with Kemby and she was able to credit my lines right away within five minutes. AT&T is a great company but unfortunately the people that work for this branch suck. We started having issues with my wife's samsung 6 and we brought it here to see if they could fix the problem. They swapped out her Sim card and it seemed to work for a little but then had same issues with calling and sending texts. I have the insurance on both phones estabrook but since there was no visible damage they suggested that we take it to one of 2 locations where they can do diagnostics and see. Well we went to the Rowland heights and found d out there was an internal problem with phone and they are switching out phones and transferring all apps pics and contacts. I have been an At&t customer for more than 20 years and they have been great!! read more

After going to three different stores that refused to give up their note 4s' and couldn't even take the time to check my plan or give me any other options. I headed to Brea! When I got there Larry was very helpful, he went into my account and when he did he realized I had an older plan. With the plan I have I was unable to upgrade without paying more! This was not told to me in the last stores I visited because of the lack of customer service!! Long story short Larry went the extra mile and his manager approved it and he made it happen, now I have my note 4 and the same plan. I could not be happier, the drive was worth it! Screw ups. Billing issues. They never answer the phone. The associate Davion never answers his phone either. He caused us to have an early termination fee when he promised that we wouldn't be charged. Gave us his card and said to call him if we do.
