I have had T Mobile since 2006 and through out the years they have sucked and now I decided to go to AT&T because my friends all love it and they have coverage everywhere. So I came to this AT&T store and waited for about 7 minutes and then Kei came up and he was very friendly and nice and very informative. He explained everything in detail and even gave me advice and told me how things worked and everything. I am so happy to have met him and he even cared about me and how i was doing and everything. I really like how fast I was seen and how smooth the whole transition was. I went from already having the iPhone X Max to a New AT&T X Max lol I also got a iPad Air. So I'm excited. The whole transaction was great and it was cold inside and was great. The only thing that was funny and crazy was that it was a earthquake while I was inside lol. I came into the store on Monday night after setting up an appointment to upgrade my iPhone. At first, everything was fine and then I started getting rather annoyed. After going through a process of paying off the old phone, the employee went to the back only to find out he didn't have the one i wanted in stock. He told me "that's so weird it's been there for like 3 weeks and no one got it, so I figured it'd still be there." Seriously? You assumed? Now despite not having the phone I wanted in stock, he did try to come up with different ways I could get it. However, the options weren't working for me. And what ticked me off the most is that he was scrolling through his Instagram the ENTIRE appointment! When I decided to get a different model, once again this location didn't have it. Things have seemed to change since I had a cell phone with AT&T. I came in here about a month ago with some questions about their Uvers cable package because I was sick and tired of time Warner's crappy packages. Like always with this store it was busy & the wait to speak with someone was about an hour so I decided I'd try another day. I randomly stop in on the weekend in the morning & there was no wait, I had all my questions answered and signed up that day for cable and Internet package & they waived the instillation fee. The system had 2 weeks from the day I signed up as the earliest weekend they could come on a Saturday however the manager there was able to have someone came a week earlier. I stopped in the other day with a question about my first bill & again the wait was about a hour long so I said I'd just try tomorrow, the greeter at the front said she could put me down for an appointment which I did. I showed up the next day and was in & out in 10 mins. The customer service has been great so far especially with how busy this store always is & AT&T Uverse cable is by far a better choice than time warner. read more

After reading all the bad Yelp reviews about this place, I'm not sure if I just got lucky or this place got a bum wrap. Either way, I'm very happy with my visit. I do realize that much of my good fortune was due to the date and time of my visit- Memorial Day at 9:30 a.m. (They open at 9:00 a.m.) When I arrived, the large parking lot was near empty. I wasn't even sure the store was open. I entered the store and was excited to see about ten employees walking around and only one customer in the very large store-- me! I was promptly greeted by Retail Sales Consultant Nicholas D. who was absolutely wonderful. He was courteous, knowledgeable and patient. Ultimately, I purchased an iPhone 5 for my daughter and a Morphie for my own iPhone 5. Before I walked in the store, I didn't even know what the Morphie was. Nicholas also got me a promotional deal and transferred my daughters 200 contacts from her old non-smart phone to her new iPhone 5. I went to the Tampa store on 08/18/2020 To get a first net SIM card for my tablet. The representative David Diaz canceled my tablet (that was on unlimited) and added another tablet on 5GB WITHOUT my consent or knowledge. I was charged $441 in overage for august. September will probably be the same or more because I just was able to change the plan to unlimited today. I am so insulted that this location would treat a first responder like this. I was deployed for a mission for months, helping with the wildfires in California and didn't notice because I wasn't checking my bills. My account is on autopay. $441 is a car payment. The representative got a sale unethically and incorrectly provisioned the pan for my tablet. I can't believe this is the way AT&T treats military and first responders. This is not the first time this happened at this location. Last time I let it go. Don't go to this store they're shady and have no respect for military or first responders. When I got sold the first net they said I would have the best customer service from AT&T. It was a lie. I want to be contacted and my account to be credited for the overages since I did not authorize this change. I only authorized the first tablet I added. I got charged 2 activation fees since technically 2 tablets were added to my account. Ridiculous! read more

2 months ago I wrote a bad review about this store and it's staff... here I go AGAIN because nothing has been solved instead it got worst. They ignore me each and every single time I have asked. All I get is "be patient" " Gabriella is aware she is speaking to people above her we will get back to you" I wait and wait and wait and I never hear from them! This recent time I spoke to veronica she said Gabriella was out on vacation and that she would return on 12/8/2020 and that she would follow up with me regarding the issue we are having because they FUCKED UP. I have not received a single message or phone call to follow up. Veronica said this issue would be priority.. so I figured okay awesome thank you not to mention we have been dealing with their BS since day one this has been going on since July/August of this year. I did not appreciate the fact that when I spoke to Gabriella the store manager about my moms phone situation she told me to have my mom come in on that day no appointment necessary because she would assist her.. my mom arrives Gabriella did not communicate with her staff about my mom showing up without an appointment (because Gabriella said she would put my mom down on the list) so instead the person at the door was rude as fuck to my mom telling her she can not be helped because she did not make an appointment and my mom explained the situation and this person insisted that she couldn't be helped.. finally Gabriella came out and "helped" her but she didn't because pretty much Gabriella called my mom stupid and told her she didn't know how to use her phone. I confronted Gabriella about it and she never responded back to me. Not surprised this bitch is good at hiding. The issue I have right now is that my mom has not had any cell service on her phone for 3-4 months and it's All their fault! They fucked up and don't want to fix it... oh and get this the day my mom went into the store a man "assisted" her and took my moms phone to the back and STOLE her SIM card ! Piss-poor worker attitudes. My father in law needed a new phone and he doesn't have a contract with AT&T anymore so we were going to just buy a phone outright. We booked an appointment on Saturday for 4:30, checked in at 4:20. Right away, the girl with the check-in tablet had an awful, miserable attitude. She clearly wanted to go home, grudgingly checked us in and went back to her phone. We found a good phone for him to buy so we could be efficient with our time. Finally around 4:50 we got our guy (who was already mad about something else earlier, complaining to a co-worker). He was trying his best to fake also not being irritated having to be at work, absolutely a 'IDGAF' attitude. We told him about my father in law needing a new phone and he immediately tries to upsell us on the highest Galaxy (which I have but he absolutely doesn't need) and if we change his number for some reason he would get money off. Why? No. We told him we just wanted the lower level Galaxy they had and he said they can't just sell us the phone. WTF? He said they ONLY finance phones per month, never sell outright anymore. Ridiculous. When we wouldn't do that, he said, "You can just go to Best Buy." So... we did and they lost our business. Oh my LORD what a clusterfuck of an experience did we have at this store today. All my mom wanted to do was change the household plan from a family one to an individual one and change the name on the account. That was it. The only potentially difficult aspect of this change was that she has unlimited data so she wanted to keep that at all costs. Well, after almost ninety minutes in the store (a good thirty of which were taken up by the salesbros and salessisses trying way too hard to sell the mom unit phones she repeatedly said she wasn't sure of and needed to think about some more) we walked out with her unlimited data plan gone missing and a case number issued to get it back onto her account. To the store's credit they followed up with my mom about twenty minutes after we had left and said everything was fixed, and that's the only reason you don't see a one-star rating here. But holy crap what a waste of 1.5 hours for a mistake that should have never happened. Ninety minutes for a plan change that we should have just done online in about fifteen minutes tops. You don't even want to know the amount of swear words I had in my head when we were leaving this store. I hate cellphone stores on principle and my biggest pet peeves about them (smarmy salespeople, constant tedious attempts to sell you stuff you don't need, and time-costly mistakes made to your account) came true at this branch. I've come and had to leave twice because "no one is here to do that" (??) when I wanted to get a SIM card activated. The icing on the cake is when I had to wait 45 minutes to return an iPhone case because unlike other normal stores you have to wait to access the cash register. The funny thing is you can BUY accessories instantly but they purposely make RETURNS difficult likely to hassle you into keeping the overpriced items they've sold you.
