Very rude men in their arguing with me being short with me walking away through the back door while I'm talking to them

The only reason why I would bother to think of giving this store a star is for two of their employees, Luke and Luna. They were the only ones that gave us outstanding service and were able to help us finally receive the credit we were promised. My fiancé and I purchased an internet and cable package that should have come with two $100 visa gift cards. This happened back in June. 4 months have gone by with no help, no gift cards, just a bunch of "I'll have my manager call you" and broken promises. It has been such a waste of time. We have even gone out of our way to stop by the store a few times just so we can talk to someone face to face. Only for them to blow us off and move on to other customers. Great service team! Thanks for never following through on your promises Tim and James. I do not care to work with you two if I have any more concerns. Nor will I recommend anyone to come to this location. read more

The employee staff & especially Cole helped me with replacing my screen protector. He did it quick and efficiently and had an great attitude. This was all done close to closing hours and when I left i accidentally lifted the screen I came back and they had no issues with helping me again. I really appreciate the hospitality and understanding from him at the manager for fixing my issues. Highly recommend this store. read more

This is the most unprofessional store I have ever been in for AaT&T. The staff does not care and has no support. The rep called her support at AT&T and they hung on twice on her. All I wanted to do was exchange a phone within the two week period. Her system froze and it took over an hour and a half to resolve. This store has a staff of untrained workers that loom like a deer in headlights. AT&T sucks as always with their customer service. Do yourself a favor - request Wendy. Wendy is smart, clear, and really knows her stuff. When dealing with the confusing and ever-changing world of phone plans, Wendy is someone I want to do business with. She's clever and a great communicator. She also saved me money while upgrading my plan design, keeping the process painless throughout. The store itself is well-designed and staff is generally friendly, however customer service is pretty hit-or-miss. While waiting for my turn, I couldn't help but overhear some confusing dialogues between other staffers and customers. Customers BEWARE: Avoid dealing with the female manager from the Oceanside CA location who uses her title of "manager" to flaunt around pretending to understand how to rectify situations but actually cannot do anything whatsoever. I come in as a "Valued Paying Loyal Customer" to transfer several lines to an new business account of which I have several. Rather than hearing my situation, the female manager just progressively spoke over me and repetitiously mentioned "I am the manager, I've heard this before", without any suggestions of helping to rectify my challenge. Please understand, I wasn't there to close my account, but to expand my account with new lines and potential business for ATT. I'm sure a call to her immediate management team and possibly a formalized letter to the president might make her demeanor toward customers more pleasant and empathetic. I feel sorry for the new employee, whom originally helped me. He walked back and forth to the back office trying to rectify my situation for well over 30 minutes. I finally had him bring out the female manager, so I could speak with her directly. It's unfortunate he had to witness the unprofessionalism his manager presented In front of me and several customers. After I left, a customer caught up to me and gave me his name and number mentioning how rude I was treated and that he would testify to her actions if needed. That manager is not an asset to ATT and in fact will potentially help to lose customer like myself! ATT management, please look into this and take action. I think my business will be appreciated somewhere else! Overall, ATT cell service is impeccable and better than most carriers. This is the closest AT&T to my office, and decided to stop in during my lunch time to look for a new security screen protector for my iPhone. I've been here several times before to buy accessories, and it's always been busy. This was a rare incident where I have actually been in and out of this store in 10 mins. They didn't look busy at the time, but I did notice several customers being helped. As I walked in, a gentleman (who was on the phone) said that someone would be right with me. I started walking around a bit to see if I could locate the screen protector on my own. Another gentleman asked if I had been assisted. I said no, and he began to help me. Turns out that the screen protectors were behind the counter, so I wouldn't have found them on my own anyways. Kind of annoying. Although he had to go elsewhere to locate my specific request, he was able to find one for me ($15). Robbery I say! Yes, the employee who assisted me was nice and courteous. He could gone the extra mile to offer placing the protector on my phone, but he didn't. Is that asking for too much? I made my purchase and as he handed over my receipt and item, he mentioned that I would be receiving a survey within 48 hours and he would appreciate a 5 for service and experience. Went in today 01/14/22 to buy a new phone because my cat spilt water on it and it does not work now. Rushed to get there at 730 (30 minutes before they close) and was turned around and told they can't process payments this late. Why close at 8pm if you won't take any service before then? The young man had a poor lazy attitude and obviously didn't want my business. Will not be returning to this AT&T location and wouldn't recommend you going here either. read more

If I could give them no stars I would . Called to set up service in our new home. Was told that our equipment would be shipped and that once it came in we could activate it right away. It came in and once we called ..no , sorry they couldn't do it and would need to send someone out but that would be in 2 days. AFTER we already had to wait for the equipment to be shipped. I had great service here & it was actually FUN! After talking with my daughter by phone Garrett helped me when I went in to finalize the deal. He was so nice, pure knowledge, didn't try to talk me into extras. His supervisor Lambo was very friendly, the girls were fun too (I didn't get their names). And they were kind to my little dog Roxy. After a truly exasperating 90 minutes on chat with AT&T online support - because I suddenly had no phone service - AND after driving to a store that is apparently no longer open, I ended up at the Oside store. My head was spinning on its axis when I walked in and Thomas took my frustration in stride and was generally very chill, which relaxed me almost immediately. Regarding: AT&T Store 2530 Vista Way Oceanside, Ca On June 15, 2020 at approximately 2:15 p.m. I went to this store. There was a tent outside the front door with a female employee assisting a customer. The employee was kind enough to ask what I was there for and advised "we can fix that" and directed me into the store where there were two employees chatting with each other and no customers. The male employee inquired of me what I was there for. I told him I've been having trouble with my iPhone. Specifically, continuous messages indicating no "SIM Card." Consequently, not only my phone was not always working but this issue impacted my GPS and I drive very often for work, heavily relying on GPS. The employee seemed bothered by my issue and immediately said there was "nothing he could do and told me to "go to the Apple Store." He was dismissive, annoyed and frankly I felt he couldn't get me out of the store fast enough. Considering I had first called Customer Service with AT&T and was told this was a "glitch with the IPhone and is being worked on from their end......but if I went into the AT&T Store they could easily take my SIM Card out and put it back in which would help my problem. The employee never even took my phone to pretend to look at it! This employee was rude and from my perspective just being lazy. No other customers were in the store! And the employee out in front of the store clearly stated after hearing my issue, to go into the store where I could easily be helped. Perhaps if these employees work on commission, he was disappointed however it his behavior, attitude and lack of customer service is inexcusable. I do hope corporate see this review. So I was getting the runaround by the asurion insurance company because I lost my phone in a lake four days ago and they pretty much canceled on me three times after confirming that the technician was going to meet me at our confirmed appointment time between 5-7pm but each time canceled without notifying me with no reasoning and after everything was closed so I couldn't even do anything about it. so long story short I never got my phone and here I am four days later finally decided to go into AT&T and was helped out by the goat Kody T. Super Knowledgeable and he definitely took care of me and made sure I got everything I needed to get my phone literally in less than 30 minutes so shout out to kody again give that man a raise thank you thank you thank you greatly appreciated!!!!! read more

WARNING, this review has adult language and is honest. I've been with AT&T since 2002. I've stuck with them because its always been easy to pay bills through them. I've contemplated leaving for YEARS because their customer service SUCKS! And that's being nice. After a iphone crashed (a month after we paid it off) we go to this AT&T store. We were helped and we thought we got a great deal from the store and the salesman (Alfredo). He explained our upcoming bill, and we thought we were going to pay $210.00, maybe $220.00 tops on our up coming bill. NOPE! $302.42 was the bill. So we go to the store to see if there is some type of logical explanation. We'd understand if there was. Someone may have had a "Monday" mistake... NOPE! So we go to the store and talk with a "lucerio". I think that's how you spell his name. Not only were we treated like shit. He acted like he didn't care. I understand it wasn't his fault, but being talked to like we're the ones who did the damage and being talked down on.... not right. Being told stuff like, "well it's stuff you should have seen when you first got it". News flash, we were told by one of your co-workers. And more stuff to where if I go on, I'd be typing for the next hour. If you're thinking of coming to this store or crossing over to AT&T,.... DON'T! This store and its employees are horrible and don't care. I'm pretty sure the five star reviews are from either employees from another AT&T store, or their friends of those who work there. Went back in today thinking all they had to do was take the wrong one back and hand me the correct one off the shelf, but no, they wanted me to wait in line when it was THEIR screw-up, not mine. No stars if there was an option. Person claiming to be store manager Tony used a monotone voice when I rushed 15minutes prior closing to get a SIM card for my university student. No kindness no emotions involved customer service. Lack of empathy and eagerness to leave a job he has no interest in keeping. Stated they were not a corporate store and were an independent retail location which made no sense to me being a customer of AT&T. Went to Best Buy and within 10 minutes had my daughter's phone activated. No rush, no issues, and exceptional customer service. Thank goodness for options. read more

Crappy customer service. I have been going there for years. I must say in the last three years it has been the worst customer service. Every time I have been in for something they have an "I don't give a shit attitude." Today I went in because while on the phone with a ATT the agent told me I could go into the store for a warranty replacement. The agent said if they have the phone in stock they will be able to replace it in store. I decide to go in since my teenage daughter needs her phone for an upcoming trip. I get into the store , which I must add was empty. Three employees sitting around doing nothing. Abel comes up to me and I let him know I am on the phone with ATT. I explain the situation and that the agent on the phone told me to go to the store ( this is a corporate store) . He looked me dead in the face and said we don't do replacements. I said do you want to speak with the agent. He said nope , it doesn't matter what the agent says they will not replace the phone. I know there is a corporate store in Miramesa who does but I don't want to take another 2 hours out of my life to do it. So I completed my claim with the perplexed agent on the phone. This is not the first time I go to this store and have to deal with something other than what ATT says ok the phone. Poor customer service and they just have other things to do than work. read more

This review is based on a lack of knowledge from the employs. I walked in the store with an appointment set up to replace my phone under warranty. I had talked with representatives online and understood everything that the store was cable of doing and how they could help me. I walk into the store and the employee that was going to check me in just fed me a line of BS. I walked explained my situation and without thinking his answer was no we can't do that here even though they could. Long story short he gave me a card with number to call and that representative had to apologize for the employee in the store. She assured me that the store could do it. Came in on 4/23/21 to upgrade my phone. I did not expect to take too much time since I already knew what I wanted. Bianca could not make the sell. I guess they were having system problems. She told me only her manager could fix the problem. I asked to cancel my order CONFIRMED SHE DID NOT NEED ME THERE TO CANCEL MY UPGRADE. I come back in today 4/30 only to find out she did not cancel my upgrade ( I didn't not walk away with a new phone ) I am not able to buy a new phone today. They can't even order the phone I want. I went into the store to make my payment, talk to the rep that was very helpful to me and explain the reason i was getting so many drop calls ( 4g Iphone ) was to do with my Sim Card, I changed out my SIM card and went back to work. The Rep FORGOT to mention to me that all my voice msg would be deleted, it wouldn't of been a big deal but my brother passed away and I saved his voice msg so i can hear his voice time to time. I called back to speak to that rep but he was at lunch spoke to another girl, which was not helpful and was trying to get me off the phone. I ask for the manager but he was out to lunch, I ask for someone else but they were out to lunch. I begged this rep to help me!! but she didn't even care, all i got was call Apple, call Apple over and over. I stood silent on the phone for a second and she ended up hanging up on me. Every time Ive been in the store has been nothing but problems, they should fire everyone there and get people that actually want to help. From being with ATT wireless ever since the creation of the iPhone, I've come to learn to never expect a quick wait at an ATT store. So as expected it was a good 30 minute wait to replace a lost sim card. While being helped we were sold the UVerse package. $200 Visa card, $100 off our wireless phone bill, and $80 for the first 6 months (was paying Time Warner $120 for less of a package). No complaints about the switch... BUT... we did have to come back on a 2nd visit to ask about the $100 off the phone bill and when we did, it was a good hubbub among the employees before it was settled. We're still waiting on the Visa cards. Another thing that also sold us on the package was that we were told that we'd be able to load recorded shows from our box to our iphones wirelessly. A month later, and unable to do the feature on the iPhone app we are told by another ATT store that it's not available yet and will be at the end of this month, followed by an "I think". Whatever, I give up. ATT staff mouths = Cow butt holes, loads of stink and turd. read more

Husband works for att/direct tv so we get a discount - switching from verizon. Samsung and a buy one get one deal. Went in and James was super helpful and super knowledgeable on everything. We were ready to go - already had all our information to switch from Verizon, address, ssn, it all. All of a sudden, a magical message appears saying we have to pay for 30% down on the phone. On BOTH phones, including the free one. $300 towards our monthly payment (cool) then $300 down the drain to pay for the new phone. Called a manager and they were useless. Told us the machine just does it and they can't do anything about it. Says it's the credit. We left. Husband called the 800 number and they were ready to sign him up and when asked about the 30% down - customer service guy said nope! You're good! Also mentioned that sometimes stores try to get a commission from the deals so they don't lose out. This was frustrating and missed out on the deal. THEN we get a letter in the mail FROM ATT telling us the credit score. . . .820. Yes . . . 820. This store is full of *hit and full of SCAMMERS!! So screw the half off, we're staying with Verizon. Even after telling the manager my husband was an employee and switching over - couldn't care less. read more

This is the most professional AT&T store that I can say I have been to. Megan who helped my girlfriend and I was polite, professional and efficient in her job. We had been without wireless service for about 28 hours up until this point after we paid our bill. We stopped at another store the day before and there only solution was pay again which would have had us being double charged and if you have been with AT&T long enough any over payment they are not giving you back your money this give you a credit and I don't have an extra 500 dollars to just give away to AT&T. With that we had been getting the run around the whole day prior to coming into this location we had been on the phone since 4Am since making the payment and getting the run around transferred to different departments and being told we will call you back which never happened one time or having some rude tech support agent tell me to go find somebody to let me use there phone after you cut off all my services. So we gone into the fire mountain location and there is Megan and she even got the run around for about to hours. But she kept with it even getting her manager involved who tried to manually over ride things to no avail. So the issue ended up being a glitch in the system and nobody could fix it but tech support the manager was going to allow us to get new SIM cards just for the weekend so we can have access to the outside world which I thought was awesome and at no expense to us. He put in at least 3 trouble tickets and finally the fixed the glitch and we were able to get our service restored. Not to mention we went back the next day and Megan provided us with excellent service once again so we could upgrade our phones.
