I wish I would have read reviews prior to coming to this location! I originally placed an order online for pick up at this location. It was for a new phone that was confirmed to be in stock. Interestingly the next morning the order was canceled. When I called to inquire, the employee said he believes the phone was sold out. I called AT&T and they confirmed that the store had the phones in stock. I later received a call from another employee who said they have plenty. This raised a red flag. I went in-store anyway and was helped by a nice employee who had a very soft voice. It was difficult hearing/comprehending him. He was speaking so low and fast that I thought he was simply explaining the device. Upon leaving the store I received an email with my updated bill. It was higher than when I made the purchase online. Turns out, he added NEXTUP ($10/month) and a protection plan ($16/month) without my consent. It was never offered, it was automatically applied. It's no wonder my order was originally canceled. I felt very deceived. This is why I avoid going in stores! If you go, be sure to make yourself clear and examine everything. This location is inconsistent for customer service and overall a reflection of management. When it comes to being helped, (note to self expect a 45 minute wait) Callers get better assistance and are prioritized instead of the individual, which in front of you. Speaking from personal experience, I've had the following; Manager, Asst. Mgr. and staff to assist me. The one common trait they all carry; lack and sense of urgency, experience, communication, multi-tasking, careless and overall no pride on the experience, they're delivering. The demeanor, expression and body language is obvious, when you walk in. You'd think if there's peak hours you'd have proper staff to assist, and be ready. This is the one location I've walked in, instead welcoming, communicating about wait time, I've been ask if "Do you have an appointment?" I've been ask follow up in this form ; come back another time, make an appointment, given a number to text and inquire about my needs. (I waited to not be helped and doing the above per their request, I get dodged) Noted if it this would be a one time mistake, I'd understand. Though the numerous times that I've gone to this location, the same issue arrises. One of my biggest issues is if and when someone calls they will assist the individual on the phone, being in the middle of assisting you. You have to yet again wait. It's quite frankly shocking!!! I came in here around 0640 to get a new watch. I was waiting to be attended and saw they had a tv so my dad started changing the channel so I could see the Laker game since my phone was dying and while he was attending another customer before us. He comes over and witches the channel to a soccer game which I thought was weird. So he walks away because the other employee told him to attend the people who were waiting in there before us. He leaves so my dad changes the channel back. This guy stops helping the customers just to come and switch the channel and takes the control. It was really rude behavior for an employee. I'm assuming they have issues at this store from the other bad experiences due to the bad ratings left at this store. I didn't get to see his name tag but I took a photo of him. Needed to replace a stolen phone and wanted to buy a phone rather than sign up for NEXT program since we need unlocked phone for overseas travel. The new iPhone 16 only has eSIM so phone must be unlocked to add new eSIM. This store said I had to join NEXT program and could pay off after first bill and afterwards I could unlock. I then read ATT NEXT policy and find that you don't have to sign up for NEXT. I called ATT and paid off phone and agent agreed that the store was wrong. Agent said I could unlock in 24 - 48 hours. Now when I try to unlock online it states that paid off phone must be in service for 60 days before we can unlock. This is unacceptable. read more

The lady was polite at first, but after just five minutes of asking some questions, i paid my phone off in full. she then got impatient and said she was going to multi task with another Customer in the middle of my transaction then starting asking the next customer for his information which felt very unprofessional especially since dealing with personal information. If I could leave 0 stars I would, the most rude employees I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. No wonder they weren't busy. I walked in and one of them had their feet up lounging. No one was eager to help me. Att over the phone told me to come in store for help, then they are telling me to call att? When I asked them for help essentially in so many words she said "I can't help today, bye" like she was ushering me out of the store as fast as possible so she didn't have to work. Felt completely ignored and disrespected. Felt as if I was being talked down to like I was stupid. They were just sitting there doing absolutely nothing, they couldn't have taken the time to help me? And when i continued to ask for some help all three of the employees inside started arguing with me, telling me I was wrong, and making snarky under their breath comments towards me. Be very careful when you do an upgrade, they add Next-up and Protect Advantage to your order. I had this happen at another store, I asked about Next-Up this time and was told that it automatically gets applied, come back and she can remove it, BS. I spent an hour on phone with AT&T the next day to get removed, after an hour was told that I had to wait 14 day cooling off period. I think I was able to remove the $17.00 a month in Protect Advantage the girl (Fatima H) added. I will be contacting the better business bureau. Someone is lying to me, not sure how a very large corp. like AT&T continues to get away with these type of business practices. I have never had worst customer service in my life. We walked in and asked to set up a few phones and we were the only people in the store. My father-in-law asked if we could do one first because one the people in our family had to leave soon. The representative said "no I'm going to do this one first because it's too early and my brain needs it this way." It was 10:30am. We were transferring a phone line and she said we needed to call customer service because they couldn't do it there at the store. We obliged and the customer service representative on the phone asked why they couldn't do it in store and if there was an error message and I went back to the in-store representative to ask for the information. The in-store representative said "well if she actually looked up your account she would know... it's a unified account" Every response was sarcastic, rude, and unprofessional. I am not sure what the in-store representative's name was but she had a lot of facial piercings. Definitely wish we went either to a different store or got a different representative. read more

I came into the store today and received the worst customer service by Kuran the "Manager", and when I asked for his name and information he threw a generic business card on the table. I was discriminated against because all I was asking was how much are the taxes on a Samsung phone and instead of stating a percentage he said it's different for everyone. Kuran was being prejudice and didn't want to help me after I waited for almost 30 minutes for service. I've never been treated this poorly in an At&t store after being a customer for over 15 years. ATT stores are known for this! Always adding insurance and the next plan to your new iPhone purchase with out notifying the user. I was here a few days ago to purchase a new iPhone 12. From the beginning I told him that I did not want the Next Plan or the Accidental plan. He tells me not to worry, he will not added! A few days later I call ATT customer service to make sure that he did not add them and of course they were there. Beware and always check you bill! Azalae and Brett were great. An exceptional experience compared to the other AT&T store on Grand/17th in Santa Ana. From the time I walked into the door, the pleasant attitudes by Brett and Azalea were great. They processed my trade in, quickly and efficiently, with no problem. Explaining everything along the way. I never felt like I was getting "hussled" here, like I did at the other store. I not only was given good information, but it was correct information. The other store gave me incorrect info regarding my trade in, and told me to switch my SIM card from my old phone to my new phone. That was the wrong information. She comes off sweet and as soon as you ask more than one question be ready for an attitude change. I'm sorry, isn't that part of your job description? I just showed up at the this location and their doors were locked with a note stating they were open till 9pm, but the doors are locked for safety reasons & a store employee will be with you shortly. We knocked and called the store and no one answered. We finally left and as we were leaving a young man came out and slowly walk around the store. I am completely traumatized by my experience here this morning. While we were just standing there waiting I felt something crawling up my leg and I started screaming... when I pulled my pant leg up it was a giant cockroach. Seriously clean your store. No one came to check on me or apologize for how disgusting that was. I had to leave and let my husband finish up inside. I felt bad for the worker, he seemed really nice but he was the only one there working with a store FULL of people. Very understaffed. Because of being so understaffed he wasn't able to help us transfer data on our phones and the internet in the store wasn't connecting, but he was so busy with other customers just had to keep waiting. I went to the AT&T store in November and bought 3 new phones and left T-mobile for the great deals I was told. The problem is that they misrepresented the specials they had. I told them I did not want a monthly equipment charge, so I paid for the phones that night., I had a Sr. citizen plan on T-Mobile and AT&T said they could almost match it, $10.00 more a month, I thought it was worth it with the deal I was getting on the phone. NO, they need to charge me for the phone for 30 months, this is how they get out of saying "NO contract". SO I paid over $550.00 for my phone along with the trade-in with the promotion and am still getting charged monthly for equipment. My Sr discount does not exist and instead of the $10 more a month, I am now paying $40.00 more a month. I am counting down the days to 30 months, when I can drop them for good. Leaving a review for the store as there's no option for their service in general. I've been billed $45/month for over a year for a phone that literally never existed. It's just a random number they assigned to my account with no phone or watch attached. I have made numerous calls and have been told over and over it would be corrected and has not. They have erroneously billed over $500 and refuse to credit it back. read more

Sam has always been upfront with us and always willing to answer questions we've had about our plan/phones. He is super helpful and takes the time to make sure we understand what's going on. We always stop at this store specifically because Sam is here. If you need help ask for Sam as I would send my family to get help from him. The AT&T Store on 1302 N Tustin Ave, Orange, CA 92867 took our phone towards a trade in. The salesman took it home and never applied it to our account. Then, we found out he also took pictures of our application with our credit card, drivers licence and social security number with his own personal phone. Over a month later AT&T still has not reimbursed us for the phone that was stolen. They said the salesman was fired but are playing games and giving us the run around. The lawyer for AT&T/Prime is a tool, he threatened me and claimed I was extorting him. All they had to do was refund us for the phone and now they are playing games instead of fixing the situation. Avoid this place, you have been warned If you still decide to buy here, I would suggest going to an AT&T corporate store, they are more sincere. read more

It's been a couple months that we have had an upgrade due on our phones but making the time to go down there and knowing that it will take a couple hours really didn't push me to it sooner. I'm glad we went when we did because it was not busy at all and Nick provided great service which made our trip enjoyable. One thing I loved is that Nick wasn't pushy about selling us extras. Sure he told us about promos they had, accessories, add ons and cable services but once we said no it wasn't brought up again. He didn't get bothered and was a pleasure to speak to. I've had other sales men be really pushy or shady about adding things and that always pisses me off. He explained our options thoroughly to us and helped us carry over info from our old phones. As we waited he offered us water bottles and chatted. It appears this store is not really known too well yet but I recommend it to AT&T customers in the area.
