After going to a different AT&T store and spending a ridiculous amount of time on the phone with customer service, the manager here was the only person who could actually help me. I went to a different store, and they told me to call. I called customer service, and they told me to go into a store. I had to switch from one account to another but there were so many hoops to jump through, but the manager here solved it quickly. She was helpful more than anyone else I talked to, and actually helped me continue being an AT&T user. Quick, efficient walk-in service rare. Today, I walk-in to purchase a phone accessory that I needed assistance from store staff. Only one staff member on duty that was handling an account adding 10 lines. I was politely warned it would be a while to get service. The whole business is stalled because of short staffing. Might as well close the store for however long it takes until the customer in front of me had finished. I don't blame the staff member on duty. I blame the unseen management and operation behind the staff member. The short staffing practice is absurd to be kind. I went here once which there was about 20 mins till close and the doors were locked. There was a girl in there waving at me that they were closed. Didn't go there again for a long time. Before my visit I had contacted At&t over the phone to see if I could have my issue (address fix) resolved... But it took me about 3-4 phone calls to realize that nothing could be done. I got hung up on twice and the other representatives said I would have to wait 30 days before I could change my address. I got fed up and decided to visit a local At&t store in person and they actually helped me resolve my issue quickly, efficiently, and professionally. For future references, I plan to visit At&t rather than call--because this is the only way to actually get any issues that may arise resolved immediately. read more

Spent an hour talking to a new guy that had only been working there for two weeks. It's good that he asks what to do to make sure he does it right and that's fine. However, it's quite upsetting; I was expecting the phone to come in today because they said two year contract phones have to be shipped and promised it will arrive within two business day, which I was told Friday afternoon. I called today, Friday, asking regarding what exact time the phone will be in. They mentioned they cannot give that information over the phone and I have to ask my brother for when it will come in or go to the store to check. That's fine. I understand maybe it's a security thing, but the guy knew it was me. I was anxious to know when it comes in because my neighborhood is unsafe. So, I read the fine print written on the confirmation they gave me. They failed to mention I can check online at ATT.com. Seriously? I come to find that it comes Monday instead. Now, I will miss getting a free wireless charging pad and case from Samsung's promotion. I called th back mentioning it. They didn't bother to try to uphold the promise. It was "out of their reach." And, told me that I was told it'll come Friday or Monday. Now, if I was told Monday. I would have find other options, like go with the next plan and drive to the AT&T store on Laguna who had always been great to my family whenever we came in. We had been AT&T customers for 10+ years. Worst experience in an AT&T store ever in Sacramento, i Bought 2 IPhone X space grey from them 5 days ago and went to buy a phone case the very next day, while putting case on I noticed paint on the side under the volume button is silver as if it wasnt painted. Brought it back to them asking for exchange and all they told me to do is go to the apple store. Spent hours on the phone with corporate just to solve the situation. I waited for my turn on both times but NOONE acknowledged me-- not even a "hi", "we'll be right with you," or anything just to show respect to a customer. Telling him my moms number was suspended bc the phone was stolen/lost, he completely ignored that. They were just linked in together bc my sister wasn't paying for the internet anymore. Even after telling him that I had called att already about the past due in my account for the U verse Internet. The service was not used for the whole month when it was cancelled. Even after telling him that the Internet CS rep I talked to specifically said that I DO NOT have to pay the amount billed online bc IT IS NOT the final statement (the final bill is going to come in the Mail, it won't be reflected online) when the final bill is paid the past due online will be taken off. This foo then tells me "I'm just relaying to you what I see in my system." The system,.. my own att account that I personally logged in myself on their computer with my own two hands. LOL get the flying eff out of here! I had to stopped his rude ass there and barked at him. I been developing website for years and I know and I easily understand exactly what I'm looking at and if I have to I will tell you how to do your job. Don't compare me to the other customers that comes in only to complain that the Internet on their go phone flip phones isn't working. The entire trip to this branch was a complete waste of time and driving back to downtown getting stuck in 3pm traffic was an equal letdown from this experience. My bills are directly taken out from my bank account if they were going to charge me the $50 they would have taken that out of my bank already you useless fool. If I could give them less than one star I would. This is an "authorized retailer" and NOT an ATT corporate store. I recommend people go to a corporate store instead. Worst phone service experience of my life. My mother, who lives in Sacramento, went into the store because she needed a new phone. The store called me to get authorization and then offered to upgrade my account telling me I could get an iPhone 6 and a 'free' tablet at less cost using a sharing plan than I was previously paying. Sounded good so went ahead. Tablet never arrived, he said it was "returned to the store because of weather" so I had to spend a lot of time chasing it down. Then they sent a different iPhone than the one I ordered. They also never turned off the old service so I have been charged for two plans. I just spent over an hour with ATT corporate trying to get things sorted out. Truly a nightmare experience! read more

I came here for some help because my mom had set up a gophone account that was connected to two other lines but it didn't charge her properly. Usually the service is awesome! The store manager is great. The last time I was there, he called customer service for me and really went above and beyond to make sure that I left satisfied with my service. Today however was a different story. I came in and the two female workers were NOT helpful at all. She said that there was an error with the setup of the phone and that all she can do is have me call customer service. Coming from a store manager background, that's not good customer service. You would never make the customer call the service themselves if you're able to help them. The girl that helped us was a little more the on the heavier side. And she had an attitude when I showed her that what I had on my phone was different than what she had and that she couldn't honor it even though it was both through AT&T. read more

This would be one of several stores I've gone into to assist me with my account in the several years I've done business with this company. They do not show empathy towards their paying customers. They are very unprofessional and clearly undertrained. I've gone in atleast three times and called several times to dispute charges made towards my account and orders they said they fulfilled but fell through. After six weeks of waiting, I've had enough. My husband and I went to buy new phones. The associate sold us the phones told us that no one on our plan was on contract. We bought 2 I phones. We had a tablet data plan that we wanted to change to a phone for my daughter. He told us that he couldn't disconnect the tablet we had to call ATT and that it would be really easy no problem since we aren't under contract. So we buy our phones and turn on a line for my daughter (we were passing one of our old phones down to her) and buy 2 really expensive good quality cases for our new phones. We left happy....Until my husband called ATT to disconnect the tablet. We could not because it was under contract!!! So was my phone!!! So they totally mislead us to sell phones. We went back to straighten everything out and the manager Brandon was totally unapologetic and RUDE. He turned it around on us like we had no right to be upset over this. We tried to return the stuff we bought to go buy it from someone who wouldn't lie to us and he wouldn't give us our money back. The associate said that when we were there buying our phones he looked on line and it said we weren't under contract but when we went back he refreshed it and it said we were under contract :/ BS!! She says they suspended my line in order for me to be force to purchase the new phone. They should learn how to show someone their new bill with trying to force them into buying something or upgrading. Att should really look into the management of this location. I love att, but this store here is the only one where I come in I don't feel welcome. I came early, the door said the store won't open until 10 am. When it was 10 am an African guy came out holding on to a key lock the door. I aske him about wanting to buy a phone and he just say we don't have it. And didn't welcome me in to if he can help me. He just walk off. He looks like he was in a hurry to go eat?? Or to meet someone?? I mean the store open at 10 am, lunch time or break time isn't at 10 am. Then I call for service instead and they just hung up on me.
