I came in today to upgrade my old phone! The process went smoothly - and both Angel and Tommy, the assistant manager, helped me. While the process to update both phones, and transfer the info took awhile, I appreciated the kindness and professionalism of both guys who helped me. I'm happy with my new phone. Avoid bringing your pets here unless you want fleas! This store is dirty, and my husband and I have flea bites on our legs after sitting in the store. We felt ourselves getting bitten and immediately got up. One of the employees said he's trying to get out of the store because of the fleas. He mentioned people bring dogs with fleas into the store. We washed our clothes and showered as soon as we got home. Sure enough, we saw 2 fleas on the shower floor while we showered! I have 2 indoor cats who don't use flea medication since they are always inside. If they get fleas, I know who is responsible! Also, an employee was unaware that the Elite 2.0 plan includes Europe and over 200 other countries. I had to show him on the AT&T website. Hopefully people haven't overpaid using the expensive International Day pass when they could've added this plan instead, even temporarily. It's so odd to see this location have such low ratings because this is the only location I actually upgrade my phone. I came on Thursday with my husband to upgrade to the new Iphone 16 ProMax, we didn't have an appointment but we were lucky enough to be able to be seen. The rep was able to walk me through the steps of trading in my old phone, being credited for its value, she even suggested that I get the second best storage plan, which was for the best really. Ordered an iPhone online because they have them listed as in stock. Paid for it, and it was supposed to be ready in 2 hours. After 3 hours I called the store and they said it should be ready soon. After 6 hours and 2 calls to ATT corporate wondering what was going on, I called the store again to let them know everything was good on corporates side, and that they said it was on them. The same lady answered the phone and put me on hold, they then marked the purchase as out of stock and cancelled my order. Completely wasting my day because they can't manage their inventory properly. Every time I use this location it's nothing but horrible service and lies. The first time, the employee signed me up for a bunch of services I didn't agree to, even clicking on the consent boxes and continuing an application I did not agree to. I had just bought two phones there 2 weeks ago! He did not want to help with the set up and was rude and condescending. Have you ever encountered a retail operation that seems bothered by your presence and you get the sense that they are making excuses to avoid doing anything they don't want to be bothered with? Well that was this store today. I went in to exchange a new phone I just received from the website because I wanted a more powerful model. I was told by another store that this store had two of what I wanted in stock. The person who helped me (Sky or Skylar?) said they don't do in-store exchanges on recently acquired phones (I just got it yesterday) and I would have to call the 800 number. I know for a fact this is false because the other store was going to do it and the ATT website says they do it. So either Sky is a liar or someone who doesn't know her job. She also claimed the two phones that the other store said were in her store 4 hours prior were not there anymore. Unlikely since they were high end models and there was no one in the store except the 4 ATT reps (no manager) who were just staring down at their phones. This experience is such a contrast compared to the service you get from an Apple store. Also, Sky didn't have a name badge on like the other 3 people and wouldn't tell me her name when I asked. THE MAIN PART I LITERALLY REJECTED THE OFFER HE NEVER GOT ME TO SIGN ANY AGREEMENT OR CONTRACT AND IN 2 DAYS the device is at my door step. Do not use AT&T for anything, I've never made a bad review before so I not quite sure how much I can type but I'll try to explain why you shouldn't use AT&T at all. First and foremost I woke up this morning to a random charge on my card of $600 with out any warning at all. Second I've had my phone plan with them since October of this year and here are my charge October 162 / November 285 / December 597 . In November my phone service was cut off for 2 weeks mind you , they keep adding random fees to my bills they'll try to sell you off something in the store saying it's only $14 a month then all of sudden they'll charge you for the full price at a random date as well as add activation for a hot spot you stoped using before you even started the plans with them, I bought an I pad with them and as soon as I pay it off next pay check I will switch. I had a crazy accident this morning when I was hiking along Sunset Cliffs and a wave crashed over me and my phone came out of my pocket. And I wasn't stressed about it because what was I supposed to do except get a new phone. I'm not one to buy something unless something breaks so I guess this qualified . And I needed to get a new phone right away because I was expecting some important phone calls so I drove to the local AT&T store expecting the worst and I was completely surprised. There was a customer service rep named Hugh waiting right at the door for me and I told him the phone I wanted, which was the 12 mini, and preferably blue, and I said I hope you have that in stock. He said I may have it! I was hopeful and sure enough he came out with the phone. I opened the box and lo and behold it was navy blue, my favorite color! The phone was even smaller than my old Pete iPhone so I was tickled. All of my contacts and everything on my phone transferred over and I only paid $36 plus tax for the phone after I promised to stay with AT&T for three years. We will see how that works out! In any case, I did not have to pay the 600 something dollars for the phone so hopefully my service doesn't go up in price to negate my deal. High was a 24-year-old young man that was competent, efficient, professional, friendly, and didn't try to upsell me on a single thing. This transaction was the easiest transaction I've had in ages. Yolanda legitimately saved my life. I live in a different country in Barbados, and I am in San Diego for two days. My life relies on my access to my phone I work remotely and if it were not for Yolanda spending time with an almost 50 year old, who has been confused about my phone for an entire year, I would not have a job right now. I had to submit some very important documents today via my phone and I can do it now because she took at least an hour with me when the store is very very busy and Yolanda is the real deal. (review of ATT corp.) Done w ATT after 30 years - asked them for SENIOR plan for cellphone, as I'm over 60, and don't have kids or grandkids, or work to call - so I use it half as much. The supervisor told me she was authorized to give me a basic talk and text for $25/mo plus tax, only going up if I used too much data. The next 3 mos my bill jumped to almost $100/mo, giving me a balance due of what should've been for almost the whole next year! They offered to try and fix things, then changed the story and told me there was no record of any senior discount offered or supervisor's "deal". After fighting with ATT for mos., they cleared my balance, and I moved to a diff. cell carrier. This all felt like age discrimination and deception! I retired from a combined 45 years of work in retail and hospitality, with 2 college degrees in business and Retail Mgmt. One of the main things I was taught is that attracting new biz with marketing, advert., and hiring/training staff is much more costly than retaining current quality, loyal customers. I guess they don't like REDUCING a bill, and it is not ATT's policy to return loyalty to long-term customers. And how many seniors use ATT services - MILLIONS?! ATT also partners with AARP for a slight senior discount - what a joke! Management needs to go back to school! read more

Wonderful experience, even during COVID season - all created by Richard. Richard met is at the door and listened carefully to our need for a Mi-Fi like hotspot. After reviewing our account he declared we were paying $40 too much and shuffled us from a 4-phone shared data to a 2-phone with 30Gb hotspot apiece and 4-phone shared data/voice unlimited. Whalaa - no hotspot needed and better service for $40 less. I was also there to surprise buy a iPhone 12 for my wife and he played along until we had the config finalized and laughed with us as we celebrated her birthday gift. This is my local AT&T store. I was in temecula and rather than go to any AT&T store on the way I decided to drive all the way back in hopes to find Jessica Lane for her excellent customer service I can always count on. I am not an easy customer to deal with as I am extremely financially analytic and a logical decision maker. I'm not the primary on my account and I often have to consult financially for my mother who is the primary on the account and just too busy to handle things. Jessica Lane went above and beyond to look over our bill and find us the best plan. I recommended my mother (difficult customer) to not leave at&t which she was about to but rather give Jessica a call. We ended up taking Jessica's financial advice and switched to an unlimited data plan we couldn't be more happy with. I found out she is moving to south carolina today and switching to another at&t. Jessica Lane is irreplaceable and the south carolina at&t store is lucky to have her. I really think if she'd be open to it, being promoted to a store manager because her customer service and people/financial skills are above & beyond excellent. Jessica Lane is so patient and goes the extra mile in comparison to anyone else at any other cell phone store I have been to. Came in just to replace my iPhone 14plus screen protector. Was told there was one customer in front of me, waited for about 20 minutes when another lady walked into the store, who was helped instantly while I was left to wait. There were more than enough staff to have helped me much sooner. When I was finally helped the associate, Carla was rude and short with me and my boyfriend. I told her what I wanted, she confirmed the model of the phone and charged me the $8.67 for the screen protector. She then removed my phone's protector and THEN informed me she didn't have a protector for my model, and proceeded to put on an iPhone 15's screen protector, which fits the phone, but is not lined up properly with my front camera and sensors, making my Face ID unusable, and exposing a semicircle of touch screen out of the cover, this hole in it is meant for the camera of the 15 which is going to be the first place this protector will break, and put my touch screen at higher risk of breaking than if they had just told me "sorry we don't have what you are looking for" now I've wasted my money and my time and left in a horrible mood. I love that they have little tablets now so you can be helped by anyone, anywhere. I have become so deprived of good customer service from some recent hassles with my son's Cricket provider, that I forgot what it was like to go into a store and actually receive superior service. I wanted to just look at some new cell phones and inquire about bundling some services and rather than deal with AT&T people on the phone, I popped in here. Now having once been a very high-powered salesperson myself, I could see that it might be that some of these AT & T employees might see dollar signs (commission) in my eyes, but they disguised it fairly well and seemed professional and helpful. I will go into a brick-and-mortar cell phone store any day over one of those tacky mall kiosk stores that conduct business in the wide open at various malls. I just hate to walk by those outdoor places where they shout at you to come over and sign a 2-year plan! No thank you. In comparison to ghetto Cricket, AT & T is positively royalty incarnated. Went in on 3-2-2013 to purchase my daughter a new cell phone. My last time here was pre-take your name at the door so, I thought this visit went much smoother a far as customer service goes. After checking in and waiting around the store for 14 minutes, I was called to the desk. After explaining the reason for my visit, I was showed and eventually purchased a cell phone suitable for my kid. Now for the bad: In the middle of my purchasing transaction, my sales person stopped and lead me to the portable speakers area inside the store. He then proceeds to demonstrate the various speakers, I guess trying to get me to buy one. I felt like I did when a car salesman once took my Driver's License (to make copies of) and wouldn't return it until he finished his sermon. I didn't ask to see a speaker; I didn't need to buy a speaker and sure didn't intend to look at them instead of finishing up my transaction. So please in the future, put that BS to rest. Don't try to cram stuff down customers throats or they may just gag and throw up on you and your business. read more
