Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 4:30. Walked in and stood infront of the cashier stand for a good 10 minutes. No one acknowledged me. I noticed an employee finish up with a customer and move on to the next - walked right by me. He gave his customer an enthusiastic handshake and I asked if anyone else was available. He looked up at me, smiled, and said there was just two of them available, then turned back to his friend. The other person was also busy with a customer. No acknowledgement, no "One of us will be right with you", nothing. Having after typing this all up, deleting and rewriting, no acknowledgement. I am now walking out of the store. These young men need some customer service training. read more

This location is sleazy. We came in to open a regular account and somehow walked out with a business account. We did not request nor were we informed about the business account. Only reason we found out was because we had to call customer service to ask for our account information. read more

Worst worst place and employees EVER!!!! David and Arvin are the most rude employees I have ever met. I switched my line from Verizon to AT&T because the rate was high for me. After one month I got a bill of $840!! I tried contacting customer service, but they will do nothing to u just fake promises until the next bill posts. Two months later, my bill is $1300!! I called again, same process and nothing changed. Until they suspended my line. I went to that store to see why all of that mess happened, they tell me that there was a mistake on my billing and the manager is not answering his phone, so we can do nothing to u at the moment. I come back after three days to see if there's any updates since my phone is suspended I have no communication with anyone in this world. Arvin wanted to get rid of me by saying we can't do anything until 14 days from now!!!!! Obviously so I can get a higher bill then I'm forced to pay it. I asked to see the messy guy, Danielle, who did all of this to me. And suddenly he's sitting outside somewhere and there was a line in the store!! Guess what! The problem is solved from his end and it took him 20 minutes to solve it. And all of the above was just a bunch of lies to me because they are too lazy to help their customers!! I was trying to understand from Danielle why the other guy, Arvin wasn't willing to solve it for me if it's that simple, he started being the rudest to me and that was very insulting to me in front of the other customers waiting in line!!! Was pretty nervous given the reviews, but decided to stop by since they had the iPhone XS and XS Max in stock in the color and storage i wanted. Spoke with David over the phone and held the phones, popped into the store 15 minutes later and was greeted by David helping someone else out. Conor came out (I think he manages the store) and asked if i needed help. They both helped me out in figuring out the best route/option for me to take advantage of the BOGO deal for iPhones. I was there 30-40 minutes and walked out with both phones in working order along with some accessories. More importantly, Conor looked at my account and usage and mentioned how i could be saving a lot more money on my account and showed me my usage on the ipad. He definitely didn't have to, but went out above and beyond to help. Before I left, someone was in the store trying to get 3 iphones for Xmas gifts, they only had 2 of the 3 and Conor called around to locate another phone and had someone drive over to pick it up and bring it back for the customer. I sure hope they turn the reviews around... i defintiely received 5+ star service. Thank you guys! read more

This has honestly been the most frustrating experience. My husband and I both signed up for AT&T and purchased two iPhone 14 pros from this Rivermark location. Our sales representative was named Arvind K. They shipped the phones but we decided to switch our carriers before the phones even arrived. They told us to drop the phones off when they delivered. The phones were delivered January 5th, we drop them off to the AT&T store front on January 7th. The person we returned them to was named Jai S. Alondra M, F. , the store manager working that day was extremely rude and made a passing comment saying "maybe you guys should've done your research before wanting to cancel." A month later I got an email from AT&T saying the that my husbands phone was never returned and we will be charged $1,099. I called the store front and I called AT&T headquarters and no one was helpful. I think I have called 10 times just to try to get help from someone in one week. AT&T headquarters said I have to talk to the store. The people at the store literally never answer, and if they do, the manager is never in store. They leave you with "we'll take a message and she'll get back to you", but you'll literally never hear back. The amount of times I've tried to call the store and I was told I would get a call back and never did or they wouldn't answer is ridiculous. The fact that the phone was returned and I am being charged for it because some one made a mistake is also ridiculous. The fact that this happened in January and it is now June and it is still not resolved is ridiculous. I got a paper bill the other day for $1,099 because it said the device was still never returned. The store AGAIN, never answered/ never got back to me. It's been SIX months. I finally decided to call ATT loyalty, billing, headquarters, anyone I can to resolve this myself and to file a formal complaint. The manager of the store, Alondra Marie F. confirmed on a merged call with HR that the phone was returned but she can't give a tracking number because they resold the phone to someone else since they kept it as inventory. She then said she'll call me the next day at 3pm with a solution, after I called the next day at 330 pm 5x with no answer, she sent me a petty text. I escalated it as far as I could and the Manger of AT&T loyalty confirmed with her I returned the phone and dropped the charges himself. Please never go to this store. The most unprofessional, horribly managed, unethical storefront. I'm in healthcare, I know what being understaffed is and having trouble to get back to someone is like, but 6 months?!! Attached is text proof of just SOME convos that took place since most were over the phone. Andre who was the final loyalty AT&T rep from HR to help me, said this was a formal write up, and he wrote the store up, was amazing and resolved the issue in a few minutes. When I asked him what happened he said essentially someone messed up with the return and the store basically tried to double dip by returning the product as inventory and having you charged, and selling it to someone else. He commended me for my patience, never raising my voice, and said this should've been resolved back in January. read more

We came in to add a phone to our current plan, and were immediately accommodated by an associate; Jay I think (didn't quite get his name). The service was friendly without aggressive hard-sell, professional without the tech jargon, and fast; we were in the store maybe less than 20 minutes. We came out with a new phone, and a plan that was better than what we had. The store itself was well-kept, and stocked with all the accessories you'd need to get started with a new phone. The location is convenient with plenty of parking in Rivermark Plaza, so no walking around aimlessly searching for AT&T in a mall for example. Bring your old smartphones just in case, they accept trade ins depending on the age and condition of your old phone. Come in if you're looking to switch carriers, upgrade your current cellphone, or simply want to add a line. Been with AT&T for years now, never had a problem. Highly recommended! read more

I recently switched to TMobile partly because I wanted to try out the low rates and partly because I was fed up with the telephone customer service which has been bad recently. Very quickly I realized that the network quality wasn't great in the area I usually am and wanted to switch back. I reached the Rivermark plaza store at 6:30 pm on a Sunday evening and explained the situation. James and David didn't try to rush me or ask me to come back on Monday. They looked for all the discounts they could and worked with me to port my numbers back! Really great service and professionalism! Showed up to purchase a new phone. Store hours said 10am but they weren't open. Spoke to the guy that unlocked the door and asked when the store was going to be open and his response was "maybe 15-20 minutes". Definitely poor customer service by not adhering to the hours. I will never go to another AT&T after purchasing a phone at this location. The current employees will be the first to admit that their previous manager lied and stole from a lot of customers but they refuse to repay their customers for the items he took or put on their accounts without their knowledge. He lied about a buyback program, sold my phone instead of sending it into the factory, and put a screen protector and auto draft insurance on my account without my knowledge. I highly recommend going to verizon wireless or t mobile since the regional managers who cover the whole area refuse to do anything to pay back the customers he screwed over. read more

So I asked if it's possible to reserve it and the guy James says yes if I could provide my full name. So I provided everything he asked. But when I walked in to store after work, I was told the phone was sold to someone else. What the f***. If you can't do something, you can tell it straight. You don't promise something you can't do! At least I was expecting a call back when you sold the phone so I don't waste my time to stop by. You don't just smile when you tell this like nothing serious. Terrible experience here recently. Ordered a phone upgrade online on Sunday, April 30th, and all we had to do was pickup the phone. After 30min of waiting due to other customers and only 1 rep, it was our turn. Once the store rep was finally able to get it out of the safe 10min later, something wasn't working right in their system. He video chatted with someone, presumably a manager, to show the screen and what was happening. After at least a half hour of trying to figure this out there was no resolution. We were told he couldn't give us the phone, they would cancel the order, and we would have to come back tomorrow to repurchase. When I questioned him, he said the phone wouldn't be back in inventory until tomorrow. What he wasn't telling us was that's because only the manager could cancel the order and he wasn't willing to come in. I needed a phone that same day so I said no thank you I'll go somewhere else then. He said I should see the pending charge drop off my account the next day. Instead we found that we were charged the full $1300 for a phone we never received. We called the store MULTIPLE TIMES to only be hung up on and/or left with excuses by Alondra that only the DM could run the return and he wasn't there. So when does the DM show up because it's been TWO WEEKS now and we still haven't been refunded our money ($1300). Not to mention the initial man that helped us hasn't been back in the store any of the times we've called. We'll never go back to this AT&T store. You need to do better. read more

If i could rate this store a 0, i would. I needed help with a claim on my phone with their insurance company. David, who was really too busy on his personal phone communications to even look up at me, said i needed to go home and get online and submit a claim. He could not help me. I let him know that 2 months before, another AT&T store had helped me with a similar claim and my replacement phone arrived the next day. He assured me that was not possible and he could not help me. I went down the street to the closest AT&T store away. They were most helpful and all was handled in about 20 minutes. Replacement phone on the way. Customer service is terrible. I wanted to buy a SIM card after losing my phone. The lady there sold me a Micro SIM card after opening up my HTC One M8 phone, which uses a Nano SIM card (smaller size). It is not easy to cut up the Micro to a Nano, since I was not able to do it after looking it up online. This lady did not offer any instructions about the difference between Micro or Nano, nor did she give me a Nano SIM card. Now the SIM card is non-refundable! read more

Was very helpful in resolving my phone unlocking issue. I called customer service 3 times and was given responses that was not helpful or got dc-Ed half way through. What's worse is when you call them back, u get routed to a different person and have to explain the whole issue again. After getting totally upset with the customer service calls, I walked into this store and the person there helped me though he was on a Conf call at that time. AT&T's retail support team is so much more effective and was able to unlock my phone with no issues. I would definitely go back to this store and never call customer support on my own. read more

The attender didn't ask what we need and we were waiting about 5 mins when finally she asked my husband, and he just said "we want to active a new phone" and in a very rude mode, she asked us to leave and come back in 25 minutes because was attending another customer and my kids were distracting her. I visited the store last week to activate an unlocked phone. In general it can be a bit of a pain to get 4G/LTE data on non-AT&T phones. I will not hold that against the store and that is not factored into my review. I was greeted by a kind and patient young woman (I believe her name was Cindy). I explained the situation and we were ultimately able to resolve the issue. It ended up taking over an hour, but she was able to handle it herself. One thing to keep in-mind is that there isn't a bathroom in the store so you may end up going to one of the restaurants nearby if your visit to the store is longer. read more

So when I went into the store 30 min after I called. A guy and lady said hello and ask if I needed something I said a phone case for a iPhone 6s Plus. He was very nice and very attentive he also had such a positive attitude the entire time. He made me feel more than comfortable and had all the answers to most of my questions. Really bad. I ask $25 prepaid plan and once everything was done, I tried a phone call but nothing worked. The salesperson tried it herself and still it didn't work. I asked the salesperson the reason, and she said the phone showed it connected to ATT network, so nothing wrong from their side, my phone must be the problem (What?). She refused to help me anymore, so I called 611 at the store and the customer service said it's because the salesperson put $25 data plan, not voice plan. The salesperson didn't say sorry, kept saying nothing wrong from their side. Even said my claiming is illegal behavior. I just wanted one word "sorry" but she was just rude. read more

Mojeh working here is so terrible. When I stepped in the door I immediately realize that it's not the right place. She stares at you like you are from the Mars. She doesn't do any explanation to you and pretend that she does't understand you. After purchased the phone card you have to ask her to help you install it. She's even lazy to test it for you. The whole purchase took less then 10min and less then 5 sentences. I wish I did the business with other stores with the people working there were very friendly and helpful. read more
