This location totally sucks!! I walked in for something so simple. I just needed to exchange my faulty charger for a new one. I was put on a waiting list and told I had to wait about 40mins. Only because I desperately needed it, I agreed. It's been over 40mins and I slowly see my name crawl up to the number one spot. I start walking around looking to see who will help me and one of the employees (very flamboyant fellow) completely ignores the screen with names of customers waiting and jumps to a potential sale of a customer who just walks in. Really ?? As I'm typing this review I'm STILL waiting for someone to help me. This location completely sucks! I hate coming here and rather drive to Manteca but tonight I didn't have time. Most deceptive, cooked company ever. I purchased 3 iPhone X phones on the perception that it was "Buy one Get one Free". I admit, I hadn't paid attention to my bill or looked at it very close until I had received a late charge. I noticed that each month I was being credited $23.34 and being charged $38.34 for each phone. When I called and asked why this was the AT&T Rep named Gayle said, "I'm sorry but they should have explained that the "BOGO Free" only applies to the 8S model and it's only a partial credit on iPhone X models". Well, you can imagine how upset and deceived I felt by the fact that the AT&T Manager (who no longer works at this branch, big surprise) told me that there would be "absolutely no charge for one of these phones other than taxes on that phone and the 1st three months of payments that will be credited after the three months." This company is extremely dishonest and crooked. I've been a customer since February 2005 and have always paid my bill on time. The company I work for has offices in 90 countries and 1,400 group companies around the world and 10 business groups that operates in virtually every industry. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS SERVICE. I'm not sure if they were discriminating me or me standing, looking for help, and asking excuse me to the employees multiple times for 30-45 minutes in the store was not obvious to them or what. I would give this place NEGATIVE stars if I could. When I finally requested for some help successfully, I was treated with no respect. I only wanted to ask if they had the Note 8 in stock, but I was quickly cut off with the response of a firm "NO," right in front of all the Note 8 store displays. Why have the Note 8 out for display when it's not available? He didn't even offer to let me order the phone or check if it was available nearby. I've done my research at home, I do in fact know there is the Note 8 available in Stockton. I asked the employee if he could check if there was any nearby but he rudely cut me off saying "Mm no, finding one would be hard now," WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING INTO THE SYSTEM. I waited for assistance for nearly an hour only to be given half-assed support. Honestly, I could have written this review during the time I had to wait. Since I drove 30 minutes all the way here, I asked if he could at least switch my sim card from my broken phone to my old one. He treats me like I'm an idiot and tells me "it's not that hard you can do it at home" and doesn't even switch the SIM cards correctly. And just like one of the previous reviews had said, he doesn't even treat my phone with care but tosses it onto the table. Walked to the store to check out the new Phones- They made us wait- no issue- I start looking one phone suddenly the alarm went off. An African American guys show up and start YELLING at me that was my fault to setup the Alarm. With very loud sound he said this is an Alarm you understand? He applied that I setup the Alarm. I asked for the MGR & a Latino guys showup. I brought up to his attention and pointed his empoyees's unprofessional behavior. The MGR, instead of taken any action, he start citing with his employee. Couple minutes later another Mexican- claimed to be a customer- started chasing me in the parking. I almost called the Police. This place is not safe to even walk in. Usually I get pretty decent service from this AT&T location on issues with my plan or products but I was really disappointed this time with the service I received. Not only was the associate who helped us did not know what he was doing at all, he also has no concept of personal space either. Every time i tried scooting closer to my dad he'd just fill in the small gap I'd leave for breathing space you really shouldn't be close enough for me to have to smell your breath? There's a whole another side of the table that's being unused you should be assisting us facing us not by squeezing next to us. Another thing is the issue we had come in about, he would repeatedly tell us he doesn't know?? And that no other associate knows how to deal with our issue? Despite the last time I came in with the issue they told me to bring in the account holder(my dad) and we'd be able to solve the issue. He asked me to call customer service??? Like are you not customer service??? That's why I'm here?? I even asked for a second opinion from another associate and the current one got offended. Like maybe if you knew how to solve our issue then maybe I wouldn't need a second opinion?? Honestly unprofessional and terrible service this time, hopefully the next time I go in will be a different associate who knows what they're doing and can help me but right now I can't help but feel very upset that my time was wasted today and the associate knew nothing of our situation. read more

You can make a mediocre product/store excellent with great customer service but you can't make a great product a 5 star product without great service! I am so dissapointed with the service in AT&T. I went in there trying to upgrade to and iPhone8 and one of the workers (his name is CHRIS) helped us. First off he was very rude and he kept trying to sell us stuff we didn't need. He was overpricing everything and wanted to charge for upgrade when online they weren't charging me anything? He was also charging tax more than what it is in Tracy. Come to find out he divided my GB on my plan so I can pay double. I called AT&T to upgrade and they did it with no charge and no problem but the lady noticed the GB plan and said it was a very weird thing that it was divided that way. She cancelled it put all 4 lines together to reverse any future fees. Please be aware of what the workers are doing to your plans, be smart because these people will fuck you over, specially Chris. If it was up to me he would be gone because that is not good customer service. If he's willing to fuck over his customers imagine what he would do to the company he works for. read more

Told me my company had a discount plan with them for accessories, walked out happy after buying a case and changer. The guy spent 40 minutes with me. Even showed me how to use the thing. Called ahead to get a new SIM for a phone I bought online. They had them in stock and I was told to come down to get the new SIM. Arrived 20 min later and was greeted warmly by Sal. I told him the situation and he quickly got a new SIM for my galaxy s7 edge and even offered to transfer my contacts. After a few minutes I now have a fully functional phone with all of my contacts and info transferred, free of charge. Sal was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I am happy to recommend him to anyone in need of anything mobile related. Kudos to the rest of the staff as they made me feel welcome and even opened the door for me on my way out. This store is poorly run, and the customer service is unutterably appalling if you have plenty of time to waste and want to be treated like a one-star customer then I will recommend you try this store. I hope after my phone call to their corporate office they will implement what they told me "give the management and their staff more training in customer service." Went in today 11/22/15 to upgrade my iphone. Aaron Pham assisted us. I had a bazillion pics on my phone so he had me go home & back it up (would take too long on the cloud backup). Came back picked up my new beautiful rose gold 6s plus & had issues restoring the backup from my computer. Aaron walked me through it & when my apps weren't there, he even helped me with what ones I was missing. He provided above & beyond service. I have been or WAS an AT&T customer for over 10 years and after the unprofessional and rude manner in which my husband and I were treated we ran to Verizon with open arms! And are now happy Verizon customer. I can't thank Chelsea and Sal enough for the help they provided throughout this last week! After my account was fraudulently changed by a representative at a local AT&T affiliate, the team at this AT&T store went into overdrive to make sure that my account was corrected, that an insurance claim was properly filed and that my daughter's phone was replaced as quickly as possible. Chelsea went above and beyond, correcting the issues that she did not create, following our claim and texting me updates as she got the situation handled. Like others, I have never been fond of the wait that I usually find at this location, but the wait is worth the fabulous customer service you will be provided! read more

The people that work at the store must be working off of commission! I called the store and spoke with an employee and explained I wanted to upgrade two phones and he explained the trade-in special they were having and told me it would be $15 per phone per month. Went to the store the next day and was told that employee was not there and the rude employee and his sidekick explained that I never called their store and then proceeded to explain that it would cost me more plus pay an activation fee per unit. They also told me they could not transfer the data to the new phone which they just did for my sons girlfriend couple days prior. We got frustrated and left. Went home and went online with the AT&T online and proceeded to get both phones for the price it was explained to me when I called the store. I think they were just mad because they had to go back to work. Will not go back into that store and give them a dime! read more

I came here to ask why my bill is so high and I was telling the representative why my bill is so much expensive than a friend of mines that's got 5 people in their plan while there are only 3 in mines. I can't believe what the representative responded to me, it's got to be the worst response I've ever gotten from one of the representatives. His name is Mario I believe. He responded by saying "Let me explain little by little....because you're asking SOOO much questions". That to me is like a slap in the face. I only asked about 2 questions, My voice of tone was very calm and it was slow. Although, he did explain why my bill is high, he explained it very fast like he wants to go home or go on a break already. One last thing, he also told me to call customer service. Last time I was there to ask about my data, one of the representative took care of the "customer service". I am very dissatisfied with the service I received at the A T & T on Naglee Rd. I upgraded my I phone and was told I would receive a credit for $100 on my old phone. I returned the next day only to be told that I would only receive $40 dollars. Apparently I was given incorrect information. Once you make you purchase they could care less about customer service. Upon entering the store for the first time looking to purchase a new phone to replace one that had been held possibly to never be returned I had to wait quite a while for any kind of service however once I did get service employees were friendly and helpful except for the fact that I had to return about five times just so I can actually get the process started having to wait in line each time I return once I got what I wanted process is quick in and out no unnecessary upslling or anything annoying salesman like. Now here comes the bad part so I returned the store after noticing that there's a very small crack in the bottom corner of the screen for $500 my phone better last more than a week. After calling AT&T and speaking with numerous people they told me they would exchange the phone no problem since I'm well within the 14 days. When I return to the store I got no help and in fact was not even able to get to a person who would possibly give me options I was stopped at the door told it was on me and that was that goodbye. I spoke with other AT&T managers and other district a national representatives who all told me that they should've exchange the phone however sitting in the parking lot and calling the store I could not even get through to an employee when there were two customers inside and about 12 employees the phone message said that all cause all employees were with customers too busy i've been leaving the manager messages for about a week now and have had no return customer service out the window read more

When I walk into a store and see it's packed then a wait is expected, and even though the wait was around 45 min - 1 hr I still wasn't frustrated especially after I learned how they work their appointment system and walk in wait system. I didn't make an appointment so I get pushed to the bottom of the list, no big deal there. What did piss me off was while I waited that 45-60 minutes I observed a lot and what I observed was every person each employee helped spend about 60% of actually taking care of something relating to AT&T and the other 40% of the time talking about BS. So after observing all the time not being spent on AT&T related business I figured 40% of my hour wait was on people talking about their life stories or about their children or jobs or what they did over the weekend. If the employees strictly spend their time on Business the wait would have been 40% shorter and what really really pissed me off is I walked in and found what I wanted to buy no more then 5 minutes after walking through the door. So even though I had what I wanted to purchase in my hand and all that needed to be done was scan the bar code and take my cash or swipe my card there was no one there to so such a simple task and everyone there who could complete such a simple task were spending almost half their time BS'n. I mean someone could have rang me up and had me out the door In between the time it takes for them to press the power button on someone's new phone then wait for the home screen to load. One top of all that wasted time that any one of those employees could have used to make a quick sale, they had someone who was carrying everything it takes to make a sale jugs stand at the door and open it for people and close it behind them. What kind of nonsense is that. They could have at least have someone designated to just ring stuff up, make sales, and get people out the door. Even if AT&T didn't want to pay for another employee they could at least have a self check out station or kiosk. Their already more the half way there with the bill payment kiosk. It would probably take a programmer 3 hours to set those kiosks up to scan barcodes, tally up totals, and accept credit cards and or cash for the purchase. I'll definitely avoid this store AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE but if I HAVE to go in there I will DEFINITELY make sure I make an appointment. I love AT&T cell service but that trip made me hate their in store customer service. read more

December 20, 2015 Transfer 2 lines. Got the Samsung Galaxy s6 buy one get free plane with one white 64 g and one 32 g. December 31, 2015 Trade in old phone for credit toward the payment for the 2 lines on Dec 20th. Confirmed all previous transactions with Martin. 64 g in white is out of stock, told to go back any time to exchange whatever I get now to a white one next week. No restocking fee was mentioned. It took Martin 3 times to complete the transaction. The amount was $704.66, I thought it's fine because it's more than $694.99 the full amount I needed to pay. I paid and left the store. January 2, 2016 Back to the store for the activation problems,Jeremy serviced me. The 32g white phone was activated as is, the sim card for the blue 64 g was activated on the iphone instead because still waiting for the 64 g white phone to be switched. To make sure about the exchange, Jeremy took the blue phone to the manager to check to make sure it was a functioning phone. He confirmed my switch because the manager has agreed to it. January 4, 2016 Back to the store for the phone switch. A Caucasian girl referred me to Anton the manager. I was told that to process the switch she has to terminate both lines, get two new sim cards for the two phones if I want to switch to a white phone from the blue. I told her that I cannot do that because my people are out of town and they are using the lines. She said that was the only way. At that point, I dropped the idea of changing to the white phone and left the store with the same old blue phone I had. January 5, 2016 Request two phones to be unlocked. The white 64 g I got on December 20th came back "complete", but the new line blue 64 g phone indicated"canceled". Found out that the wrong device was paid off, the blue phone will remain unlock until 30 installments later. Was told that to unlock the phone, needed to pay $694.99 again. And told me that NO payment of any type showed up on the account. To resolve the payment problem, I was instructed to go back to the store to fix the transaction. January 6, 2016 Back to the store for the wrong device being paid off issue. Jeremy said there was nothing he or the manager can do. He told me to called customer care or try to unlock my phone online with a fee of $30 or $40. Jeremy promised to note in the account for customer care to see. Jeremy was very firm about the fact that the store is not able for fixing the transaction and he insisted that switching phones should not require line disconnection at all. January 7, 2016 I called customer care about the wrong phone being paid off. Told to go back to the store again. Asked to talk to the supervisor, who confirmed that the only way to get the blue 64 g to unlocked is to pay the full amount of $694.99. Asked her about the $704.66 I paid and the notes that were supposedly posted in the account. She said that she sees nothing, no payments and no notes. Asked for a three-way conference call with the store. After much blame for who is responsible, the store or customer care, Reuben from the store told me to take the phones back to store & they will redo the whole transaction. Ruben promised, " Yes, we will redo everything just like December 31st and we will waive the restocking fees." January 8, 2016 Back to the store, I was directed to Anton. I related my previous conversation with Reuben and customer care. Anton charges me one $35 restocking fee for two new phones. I disagreed because was promised that those fees would be waived. I said I was not leaving until this issue was resolved. I started calling Customer care. While I was on hold, Anton said he was calling the police. Alvin at customer care picked up. While I was explaining everything to him, the cop arrived and waited for me to finish my call. At the end of the call , Alvin offered me two restocking fee credits to keep everything as is. I told Alvin it's too late now, that's too little to cover the shame Anton gave me because I am treated like a criminal. I asked to terminate the service for both lines and return all the phones and equipment. Alvin related the 30 days refund policy. I said I was never told about that option. Told him I am at their ATT store where I got my phones & equipment and this is where Anton the manager was trying at this moment to get the cop to escort me out of the store. Overhearing my conversation with Alvin, Anton was very impatient by then, tried to push the cop, the cop told Anton to process the refund so I can go. January 11, 2016 I called customer care to seek for direction to file a complain & to make sure the lines are terminated. Lines are still active, complaint can be filed but told that no follow up or replies in formats of any type. Jeremy told that wrong phone paid off issue could be fixed by customer care. Told that lines can not be terminated as an "Authorized User", needs owner to call in. What in the world is with AT&T? Why there is nothing can be done right? read more

Went in here to get 2 SIM for lines on my account that were inactive. Friendly and at tines, quick service. They do tend to spend a ridiculously great amount of time on customers trying to sell other services when that customer clearly is not interested. I understand they have sales quota to meet but it just makes the wait time for other customer just that much longer. read more

Ok so I bought a brand new galaxy s5 active, super awesome phone, but I noticed that the back cover was a little loose so I took it in to inquire as to having it fixed or replaced, before I even got in the door I was stopped and th e asked me how they could help me. I explained the situation, the guy ripped the fragile back cover and said it was fine even with the play in the back that could compromise the water resistivity of the phone (the main reason I bought it) when I askued if I could get a replacement back he said no pretty much all I could do is file an insurance claim, that's $200 and get a new one. This phone is 36 days old! Very disappointed and the sales rep had no tact, felt likehe was basically saying tough s***. read more
