Spoke to Alex and he said they do not do appts but rather on first come first serve basis and also gives suggestions of what future services that I need in order to keep my car in tip top shape like the time for a tune up and amongst other things I need to keep in mind. Thankfully this place also opens on Saturday too since most auto shop only opens on weekdays. Added bonus for busy people like myself on weekdays. Another great experience with Atech Auto! My car suddenly stopped being able to accelerate and started having warning lights go off so had it towed to Atech. Alex and Wilson were on top of the problem. Let me know the cylinder needed to be replaced and recommended some maintenance to replace spark plugs and fluids etc. I haven't done much maintenance for the 2009 Lexus so I agreed. It was my first time needing auto repairs so I was understandably nervous about the process, the price and the overall experience. Just as I have already mentioned in my reviews before, the guys at Atech are the best --both efficient and trustworthy. Personally, taking your car into an autoshop is just as scary as going to the doctor's; obviously since you never know what "problems" they will tell you, which usually means hundreds of dollars gone to fix it. I have been coming here for the past few years and I'm so thankful to have found an autoshop I can trust. I just recently came in for my scheduled maintenance of an oil change that cost me $75. The price has risen every 6 months that I come back, but then again that's the economy and inflation for you. Yesterday evening I inquired (via email) about a pre-purchase inspection for an electric vehicle. The team responded within minutes and initially I got quoted for a reasonable price. I called the next day (today) to ask more about the details of the inspection and that if they were able to inspect a different model from the same maker. After I described the details of the vehicle to Alex, he told me that he does not have experience inspecting EVs and that he would not feel comfortable taking my money knowing this. He did recommend that I have someone inspect any car I want to purchase, especially an EV since they have many electrical components. Worst shop ever! They didn't put put my pulley back on properly and my car was making loud noises. Then they told me to fix other parts so they can make more money without adjusting the pulley back to its proper position. They are scam artists. Given the wave of catalytic converter theft going on right now that's targeting Toyota Priuses, I wanted to get some additional cat security installed. After putting out a request for quotes, Atech had by far the best price including parts + labor. No markup on the price of the part itself. Spoke with Alex on the phone who said I could bring in my car and have it done within an hour. They actually were out of stock of the exact cat shield that would fit my model year Prius, but they were able to quickly order it and get it in stock for repair as soon as the next day. Alex was super helpful, overall service was great, labor rate is very reasonable. Zero complaints, would not hesitate bringing my car back to this garage for future service. This shop is located very close to my house and I found it on Yelp. That's why I decided to give a try. Great customer service, very responsive and efficient service. Alex and Wilson are very nice to work with. I spoke with Alex over the internet, who is the owner of the shop, and he is a very nice guy. I got the quote online, and brought in my car to the shop on Friday. I would like to install a catalytic converter shield and I bought my own, so I just needed someone to install it for me. The price is reasonable and competitive. Wilson is the guy who greeted me when I arrived to the shop. I appreciate for the enthusiasm. Both of them can speak Cantonese, which is awesome. The installation was quick and I didn't expect taking too long anyway. I had a few questions to ask after the installation, and Alex was very patience explaining to me and answered my questions over the phone. (X2 appreciate) After the installation, I feel more reassurance of my cat convertor protection and hopefully it wouldn't get stolen again. This shop becomes my go to shop for any mechanic issues next time. I am planning to do my oil change over there soon. read more

WORST SPOT IN THE CITY. DO NOT GO I don't know how any of these reviews say it's a cheap and fair place... There's something wrong with one of my tires so i look for the best place with the yelp reviews and find this place. Looks good to me so I got -first he charges me $30 TO JUST LOOK AT MY CAR which is absolutely ridiculous -THEN he diagnosed the problem with the rim and the bearing on the car. He wants to CHARGE ME 175 FOR THE BEARING.. when it's 70-80 at orielys. -I call my uncle whose a mechanic and he tells me to ask him to try to switch the rim to a good tire to see if it's just the rim or both the rim and bearing that needs to be replaced -I GO BACK AND HE LAUGHS AT ME in front of everyone, doesn't even want to try, and then tells me he'll charge me MORE TO TRY. At this point I leave, go to another tire place and tell them what happened. They're shocked and do it for FREE. I'd honestly like a refund because I don't plan on going back and having the $30 go into the labor. if you want to get ripped off, come here read more

This mechanic shop is a scam they will make you believe they found out the issue of the car or the cause, I got my car towed in to this shop to get my car looked at. I regret taking it there money,time wasted They told me that it was my knock sensor for my car, they told me the part is out of stock it was a lie a dealer ship had it 10 miles away I had to go get it my self and bring it to them. I spent $150 for the part OEM I brought it to them next day they called me and said that my car was working properly and that they 100% found out the issue, After driving off in the "fixed" car I drove it for 15 mins on the freeway and all you hear was the engine knock and the engine to start screeching and rattle. I called them they said they could not do anything about it and I could not get a refund, I had to get my car towed to another mechanic shop they told me that my engine was knocking and that's why the knock "sensor" was shutting off engine light and turning the engine off to prevent engine from damaging itself to prevent it from knocking . At the end of the day don't trust 5 stars and not from these guys they do everything sketchy and are in no way your friend or car about your car, read more

I usually never write reviews but I was just so impressed by these guys that I had to. First, I got quoted a very fair price for new brakes and they honored it. They had me come in the same day I got the quote and got my car back to me same day also! There was no funny business. Alex (same name as me) had me approve all the work prior to them starting and didn't pressure me into anything unnecessary. When I dropped my car off, Alex took the time to show and explain to me what was going on with my car using example parts he had lying around the shop, so I felt very safe leaving my repairs to him.
