This is a family owned business and Mel is the mother and takes all the reservations! Now for the actually work... they don't mess around. They had all my stuff in the truck in about an hour and had it all unloaded in the same time! They were very professional and respectful and even when I was making statements like "I don't care if you break it to move it, just move it".... they would politely say "Well, I care if it's broken so we won't be doing any of that"!! DO NOT HIRE - Completely Unprofessional, Untrustworthy, and Disrespectful Our experience with Arizona Moving and More, owned by Melissa Ramirez and operated alongside her son Brando, was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This company is the textbook example of how NOT to run a business. We hired them to move us from one two-bedroom apartment to another on December 31. It was a straightforward job that should have taken 4-5 hours max. Instead, due to their poor planning, lack of professionalism, and inefficiency, it dragged on for 12 hours. That's triple the expected time -- and triple the cost and stress. The crew was clearly untrained and careless, resulting in significant damage to our property. They broke our glass bar table and completely ruined a brand-new Anthropologie entertainment center worth over $3,000. These weren't minor scuffs -- these pieces were damaged beyond repair. When I tried to discuss the issue with Melissa, she constantly talked over me, refused to listen, and offered zero solutions. She repeatedly referenced her supposed "corporate experience," yet demonstrated no professionalism, empathy, or accountability. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for someone running a service-based business. She filed an insurance claim and told us we'd be compensated $0.20 per pound -- a ridiculous and insulting amount that came out to $33 total. That's their idea of fixing over $3,000 in damage? That's not just bad customer service -- it's predatory business behavior. Brando, her son and co-owner, initially sounded more reasonable. He acknowledged they had dropped the ball and promised to "make things right." He then proceeded to ignore all follow-up communication, never returned a single call, and completely disappeared from the conversation. To add insult to injury, we then started receiving calls from their own employees, who told us they hadn't been paid and were asking us for money. That's right -- the movers claimed they weren't compensated and reached out to us directly, putting us in the middle of what is clearly a mismanaged and unprofessional operation. Then came the double charge. They charged us twice for the same move. When we raised the issue, we got nowhere. And now Melissa is recording our phone calls without any resolution being provided -- just more avoidance and attitude. To summarize: Took 12 hours to complete a 4-hour move Damaged expensive furniture beyond repair Offered an insulting $33 in compensation Failed to follow up or make it right Had unpaid employees call us for money Double charged for the same service Owner is rude, unprofessional, and completely dismissive This company is not reputable, not responsive, and not to be trusted. I wrote a deservedly negative review of this company a month ago and when I spoke with the owner she assured me that our claims were being addressed and we would be reimbursed for all of the damage that was done to our walls, furniture and carpet. We have not received any compensation for anything thus far and would appreciate it if we can get this settled. read more

Do Not Hire, Hired them for a move. Crew very untrained. I have a brand new refrigerator they had to take apart to move. Did not wrap door in blankets has dents and paint marks and scratches. TV one has scratches, they put tvs in back of truck. I requested they pack tvs and computer. Not they dumped computer in box. They used one box got charged 65.00. I was charged for 12 hr should have been 4 I had all boxes in garage ready. Finally got moved they did not put wheels back on refrigerator, and never asked what room to put stuff. I am being ignored on texts. They left a book and its not mine and told the guy he said it is now. They were late getting to me to move. Owner not in a good business to be in. read more

The fellows from Athletes on the Move did a great job of moving all of our furniture into the garage and then back into the house 2 weeks later. Because we were "camping out" with only 2 mattresses in the house, they were very accommodating about setting up a living room in the garage - complete with a couch, wide screen TV and even an artificial tree for ambiance! I really appreciated that they were available on a Sunday, prompt, efficient and careful. Their friendliness helped put me at ease during a stressful situation. Do not hire this company for your move. Lazy movers that take forever. Multiple broken items that they refuse to replace. Wrong size truck acquired so multiple trips were needed. Double the estimated time was taken to perform the service so it was very expensive. Overall awful experience. Find different movers! One more thing - if you leave a bad review they'll threaten you with a slander law suit! Hilarious! read more

Do not use this company, they quotes one price and charged my card and two of my clients credit cards over $800 more, the owner Melissa claims that she will only charge one amount but once you pay the $150 deposit their system automatically charges you when the move is complete a totally different price than what she "promises" you. they only have a trailer and intentionally quote you a price and then claim they can not get all of your stuff on the truck to try and charge even more than what she says. three of us are turning them into BBB and Attorney General and 3 on your side. please used reputable and insured companies for this kind of service and watch your stuff. Melissa and her crew were amazing. The two movers were so pleasant, professional and did a great job. They were on time( actually early) and finished in the time quoted. We also used their service for an apartment move out cleaning. I think the apartment was cleaner today than when my son moved in! The apartment was spotless. This company was a rip off! They started an hour late, sent two young guys who didn't weigh more than 150 lbs each, they had little experience, slow walked the move that should have taken 3 hours, but took 6 hours. One claimed to have rolled his ankle, so hence there was an excuse for more time. The owner/manager stated the truck was included in the move quote, but the truck was charged separate in the end. Terms & Conditions were not sent until after the fact, lied about what I requested, lied about how the furniture would be handled, I.e. everything would be shrink-wrapped. I spent a lot of money on blankets that were not used. They damaged one item and gave me a small amount for the damage, but they made up for it in the long run by charging approx $800 for roughly a 2 bedroom house. Ouch! read more

I originally gave this company a great review, however that was based on how kind everyone was. Since then the following has happened. The back of my couch was broken, I have a floating bed in which they broke a light and put the bed where it can't be plugged in. My dresser and a bookshelf were put in dangerous places where if I fall I can lose an eye I have Parkinsons and fall often which Melissa the owner is fully aware The workers were supposed to hang my large pictures and Tvs. I had to purchase a new couch due to the fact that I am unable to use it. Unstead of asking for any monies for the couch I just asked to have the old broken couch removed. Melissa did work with me financially but she never told me that the issues would not be taken care of. They never showed up on time and many things are missing. This has been a nightmare for me. I would definitely recommend this company to move your furniture. They were on time and professional with there own supplies. They go the extra step to make sure the fragile products are wrapped and handled with care. They are very fast and communicate very well with each other and are very organisable. I completely agree with other reviews on this company. They were not professional, late, without the right supplies and tried to make me pay for time their employees were out getting the materials they should have shown up with. Also they broke a chest of mine and said they would fix it but didn't. Melissa was mad I wouldn't pay for the movers taking they sweet time so she went on Facebook and left nasty messages on pictures of me (real professional) I refuse to pay for services not rendered and after she tried attacking my character she eventually sent me an invoice I agreed to and I did pay. 10/10 do not hire this company for any services. read more
