This buffet was great. I was on the mood for Chinese food. There was large cold shrimp, spicy shrimp, and really great sushi selection. On the hot food side, the egg drop soup, and the hot and sour soups were good. I didn't attempt to taste the beef soup. Not so appealing to me. The nice thing about the hot foods, like the Mongolian beef and orange chicken, was that they were not overcooked and dry. Loved the fruits and desserts. Usually you don't see Dragon fruit except on a very high priced buffet. Service was good and friendly. Only complaint is the sitting booths. They were kind of uncomfortably tight for us midsized people. I will go back again.

Atlantic Buffet Review | Marietta, Ga

Atlantic Buffet | Marietta, GA 270 Cobb Pkwy SE Unit 9, Marietta, GA 30060 Atlantic Buffet - Marietta, GA 4.2 out of 5 stars If you've ever found yourself torn between tacos, sushi, and a plate of mashed potatoes that would make grandma proud, Atlantic Buffet in Marietta is your solution -- and possibly your next food coma destination. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by a super friendly staff that made me feel like I was about to make some excellent (and slightly questionable) life choices. The restaurant itself is open, airy, and has plenty of seating, which is great because you'll definitely need room to stretch after your third round at the buffet. The variety here is impressive -- American comfort food, Mexican favorites, and even a Japanese section for when you want a little soy sauce with your salsa. The food tastes fresh, and the healthy options are a pleasant surprise for a buffet (yes, they actually exist). Price-wise, it's about $22 for two adults on a weekend before tip, which is right in line with other buffets -- but with a bit more flavor and freshness for your buck. Now, for the real talk: some dishes could use a little less salt (your taste buds will thank you), and the tables and seating are a bit dated -- think "early 2000s diner nostalgia." But honestly, when the food's this solid, you're probably not there to admire the furniture anyway. Overall, Atlantic Buffet delivers a tasty, multicultural experience that hits the spot without hitting your wallet too hard. Come hungry, bring stretchy pants, and maybe a water bottle -- you'll need it, LOL. Tik tok @we_stayed_there www.westayedthere.com

This buffet issoooooooo far from me. I probably won't go often, but I'm not opposed to going again. It's very spacious inside and there's a lot of foods to choose from. They have various seafood, Mexican, and Chinese food to name a few. You pay upon entering and they do also serve beer if you'd like it. The food areas were kept clean and filled. I couldn't tell if there were a lot of people because we had a large group and were sitting in an area for large groups. Each time I went to get something to eat there was so much available, so it never felt like it was too crowded. I tried coconut shrimp, honey chicken, mussels, various cakes, sweet tea, and salmon. I enjoyed everything I tried. They also have all you can eat crab and crab legs here. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Our server was attentive and even helped us with the birthday cake for our group. She also took a group picture for us. That was above and beyond for me. My ONLY drawback of this restaurant was the huge roach that showed up on a part of the ceiling above where we were eating. We literally just looked up and there it was. Now to be fair, when we notified the server she got someone back there immediately. I know bugs are going to gravitate to food; especially this much food, so I'm not really counting that against them. It was huge though y'all and we were afraid it would fly. The tables were big enough for everyone to have elbow room and sit comfortably. The chairs were a bit tattered and could use a reupholster. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with a huge open parking lot. Parking is free and plentiful. Adults pay $20.00 to eat and $2.00 for drinks plus tax. Kids are $8.00 to eat and $2.00 for drinks. I paid $54.00 for two adults to eat and drink.

My prompt to my gpt this morning included "family owned, cozy place, food that hugs you like a grandma after a long time away, etc" this is one of the best places I've been in USA so far. I also woke up idealizing to only try new things and no repeats but I've already ordered a second drink haha I absolutely don't want to leave. As soon as you walk in they greet you and help you out, then the bartender (I came by myself so I sat on the bar) approached me with the most warmth and helped me getting something according to her experience and taste but considering my taste and preferences. The food came (quick for how busy it is 12 min) The food tastes just like a grandmas food that she's been working the entire day on it. I can't wait to be back here. The staff are all fun and attentive, and our server -- who was also tending bar that day -- was amazing! We were there early enough for the half priced apps, and weren't hungry enough for a full meal. I ordered a side salad with ranch, and we split the smoked nachos. When they came out, it was a huge portion and enough for both my wife and I. The only drawback is that they didn't have any sour cream that we could add to the nachos... It may seem trivial, but I've never needed anyplace that didn't have sour cream for the nachos. Because of that, I will give this a 4.75 stars. We will definitely be back!

Due to the openness of the dining room, it is on the louder side making it difficult to talk with folks not sitting directly next to order across from one another. Service was very good, attentive, and frirfriendly. My wife and I both had ceasar salad, filet medium rare, and strawberry topped cheesecake. For sides we had asparagus and mashed potatoes. The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation. We'll consider giving it another try, but at their prices there are so many other tried and true steakhouse we much prefer.

Had a lovely time. We got a cocktail before we came at Third Door...took a shortcut through Hansell St, walked through the tiny but charming Church Street Park, and ultimately landed at our (mostly) nondescript location of Spring. Note that this is the "original"...not the more casual (but supposedly great) 2nd branch location. Service is welcoming immediately upon arrival. It is a small venue with a limited number of tables. Essentially the size of a living room. It is also a minuscule menu...but curated with care and delivered with diligence. Please note that I would recommend trying a wine glass or two from the available selection. They put thought into the list of options, so I think you can't go wrong, and you can certainly ask about what flavor profiles you'd like as the team is quite knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Domaine Terrebrune and the Pinot Noir, but I'm sure all the wines are wonderful. Food was awesome as well. Really loved their rendition of an Andalusian soup (ajo blanco...think of it as equivalent to a white gazpacho) and the foamy garlic cream laden pasta. Would also recommend the grilled grouper and asparagus salad with salmon on the side. We also enjoyed all three desserts, though we overestimated our appetite by the end of the dinner!

The chicken was excellently cooked and the hot honey (really more honey than hot) was a great addition. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding! The Asian inspired flavor made the dish. We recently came here for my mother's birthday, and it was still great, but there were a couple things that fell short. Starting with the highlights, our server was an absolute gem! She was super funny and informative; I've honestly never had a bad server here! We ordered a couple of appetizers: Canoe's Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon and Peppercorn Crusted Kangaroo Loin. The winner between the two was definitely the Smoked Salmon appetizer! There's a deliciously crispy potato cake topped with a generous helping of smoked salmon. There's also some goat cheese with dill cream. We gobbled it up! We still really liked the kangaroo, but we weren't prepared for it to be cold. We were told that it was served cold to prevent it from continuing to cook. It was still good, but I know eating it hot or even warm would've elevated it. We also received the bread service. Back in the days, they used to give us the bread basket, but they now have someone come around and lace it on your plate instead. I asked for 2 pieces of sour dough and one piece of the spicy crispy cracker, and the most person serving the bread made a judgmental face and said under his breath "3?!", which I found rude and distasteful. He proceeded to do the same for my dad who asked for 3, and seemed to speed walk away quickly after my mom made her second selection. The whole thing was just plain odd and left a bad taste in our mouths. Also, they were running behind schedule with our main entrees since they were accommodating big events and private rooms, which we fully understood. We were pleasantly surprised, however, when they gave us complimentary Caesar salad to apologize for the wait! They truly didn't have to do this, but it put a big smile on our faces for being so thoughtful! Lastly, I ordered the Lamb Sirloin. There's also lamb was beautifully tender, and the sauce it was topped with was addicting! The only downside was the pea risotto underneath. It had absolutely no flavor to it apart from the peas. My mom and sister also ordered this dish, and theirs had no flavor either. We ended up adding salt and pepper to it and mixing it with the sauce on top of the lamb. Overall, it's still a pretty solid place, but we were thinking about changing our usual spot to a different restaurant after our experience.
