I found Atlantic Sea Grill here on Yelp and I was not disappointed! I went for the lobster, and it was delicious! The menu was short & sweet, so don't go there expecting a ton of options. I also noticed a lot of reviews mentioned an "older" feel. It looked like they recently renovated the interior of the restaurant. The staff at this place was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. I had never been to this place but I was treated like a regular. This is my new favorite place for whole steamed lobster when I'm in the Boston area. read more

Not sure about the timing of the mixed reviews, and my wife was concerned about it but we gave it a try. Limited our order to three appetizers and a Greek salad as a result. The crab cakes, the bacon wrapped scallops, and the saganaki shrimp. Bottom line, all were top notch. We were pleasantly surprised! The six bacon scallops and multiple shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy... with nice presentation and sauces that were excellent. The two crab cakes were also very nice. Greek salad was fresh and large enough for two to split. Service was solid. Our server was well informed and helpful. I trust the entrees are equally good. I went for lunch and ordered the sole stuffed with crab and spinach. When it arrived it looked really messy and after a few bites I realized there was ZERO crab and the fish was all broken and covered in creamed spinach. I sent it back and the waitress said "I didn't think it looked right". She went back to speak with the chef who took $8.00 off the $26.00 cover price. Most restaurants make there money at the bar. But not here. They have a great U shaped bar which was rather empty when we sat down for dinner. The food was ok. But try to get your dinner order in via the bartender. Mission impossible. We asked to order 3 times over the course of a half hour. Finally she took our order. The appetizer of fried oysters came as the full dinner - their mistake. We were assured we would only be charged for the appetizer, but when the bill came we were charged for the dinner- which I had to point out. I ordered water at least 3 times - never did get it. Disappointed. I was so excited to try this now that it was renovated. They did a nice job with the decor. However, the food was just average at best. Had a salad, some fish dishes, I mean that is why you go to the seagrill. We had a lobster roll, clams, and shrimp. They were okay. The coleslaw tasted like it came out of one of those huge buckets from BJ's. Too much mayo and tasted artificial. The fries had some weird kind of coating on them and were not crispy. The lobster itself was okay. The bun ( classic hotdog) was just a tad boring. Overpriced for what you get. The manager has a temper and not very friendly. First time here, wanted lobster, Ordered Filet Minion and Lobster pie, (Lobster removed from the shell and topped w/buttery bread crumbs), Came w/ broccoli and scalloped potatoes. The lobster was chewy and over cooked, the potatoes were cold right from the kitchen and supposed to be very cheesy but where not, Filet was a little under done but good I did love the Bernaise sauce. Went here twice in two nights while in town visiting family (when you're in New England, you have to bank good seafood while you can). The first night, we sat in the dining room, and the second, at the bar. The food and service were great both times, and we really enjoyed our meals and cocktails. We both preferred the bar area for eating, as it's actually a little quieter and has the same menu. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area again! read more

Excellent place for a seafood lunch. Was seated right away. Took my drink order and let me check out the menu. Ended up with the fried shrimp. Comes with fries and coleslaw. Substituted onion rings for the fries. Perfect shrimp, freshly breaded with just the right amount of breading. Same with the rings. Cooked perfect, just the right snap when you bite the shrimp. Not rubbery at all. Onion rings cooked just right too. Tea glass never got empty. Also had the fish chowder. That was also very good. Can't wait to try more things on the menu. read more

We were visiting from Seattle and wanted to try some tasty east coast seafood. Found this on Yelp and had to try it. Ambiance is casual and friendly with nice staff and great service. My wife and I had the calamari, a lobster roll and a cup of chowder to split as an appetizer. The calamari was some of the best I've had; it was tender and had a hint of spice. The lobster roll was super tasty and the clam chowder was incredible. We then ordered our mains which was the crab cake burger and the scallops. The burger was incredibly tasty (I got tarter and ranch for the sauces and they were great). I'm not a scallop person but these were the absolute best scallops I've had. I'd highly recommend this place and if we come back this way we will stop by. read more

I've eaten here several times and although the food is good, the service is always spotty at best. Then two weeks ago we ate there and it was THE WORST RESTARAUNT EXPERIENCE I have ever had. The "waitress" took 20 minutes to come to our table to take our drink order. Then it took forever to get the drinks. Then while she took our dinner order, I dared to ask what my sides options were and she literally rolled her eyes at me and sighed!!! It went downhill from there. The entrees also took an unreasonable amount of time to be served, and in the meantime it took 30 minutes for them to bring a basket of rolls to our table and I never got the salad I ordered. The experience got so bad that for the first time in my life, I asked to speak to a manager. She also never apogized, said that a large party had come in not too long after us, and that if we were unhappy, we didn't have to leave a tip. Wow! When I told her her we didn't even get all the food we ordered, she did take a small amount off the bill which our charming waitress slapped down on the table and sarcastically snapped that she was sorry that she had to wait on other customers besides us. As we left the restataunt, the waitress followed us out the door to the parking lot and yelled at us about how rude WE were. That probably sounds made up, but it's not!! So, NEVER AGAIN, and obviously I can't recommend dining here. read more

I went to Atlantic Seafood for lunch since I was in the area. I had been here once before many years ago. Anyway, when I first went in the host greeted me and I sat at the bar. I then asked the host what the favorites were regarding lunch. He then suggested the the fish sampler which had a mix of seafood (no scallops though), rice and some grilled veggies. The price for this was $17.00. I thought I'd give it a try. When the dish came out, the fish portions were small and there were only 2 small shrimp on top of the rice with maybe 5 cubes of fish. I have to say everything was very flavorful. I looked around at other people's plates and they seemed to have adequate portion sizes for lunch. Other than my luncheon choice, most other prices for lunch seemed reasonable. Now keep in mind this place has new owners who are apparently Greek so hence a few Greek lunch selections were on the menu. I think I would go back one more time to try the fish tacos. If they are good, I'll go out of my way and bring friends. Also, there seemed to be mostly an older crowd there for lunch. Anyway, give this place a try. read more

I'm visiting the area from California to see family and friends, and they recommended that we try Atlantic Sea Grill for some savory seafood and a wonderful ambiance. I was blown away by how fresh all of the ingredients were. I felt like my mom was cooking for me at home! We started off with a round of oysters which was just fantastic, but that's just the beginning. The clam chowder was so hot and tasteful. I've had so many cups of chowder in New England over the years and this one stood out. Next came choosing the entree, which was easier said than done because my mouth would water more and more as I went down the list. I went with my favorite fish, Swordfish, which was grilled and served with mashed potatoes and butternut squash. The swordfish was juicy and cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes and butternut squash were phenomenal house recipes that just melted in my mouth. For dessert, I had the chocolate "mouse" (not mousse) cake, which is a Greek specialty and was so rich, sweet and satisfying. Furthermore, the service was great! The waiters constantly refilled drinks, were very gracious and always had a smile on their faces, and they went above and beyond for us. The owners are also so courteous and made sure that all was going well with our group at all times. I definitely recommend this place for a great meal for family, friends, coworkers, and a date. We have been there twice since it has been all re- done. The interior is nice and updated and there is a fairly large bar area now. We enjoyed our food-- I had sword fish and my husband had salmon and it seemed fairly fresh . I have also had the lobster roll there and they give you about half of the old one. The portions are about half of what we used to get before the new regime but the food is still good and we like the atmosphere much better now. We sat at the bar this last time and the people next to us were raving about their huge bucket of steamers. . The lady serving the bar took about 20 min. to take our order even after asking to give our order but she was super busy and doing her best. I am so disappointed with the meal we got. After reading all the reviews here, I figured I'd give this place a shot. I had a stuffed lobster and my boyfriend had steak tips. The portion was so small on the steak tips. It was not worth what we paid. My stuffed lobster probably had two scallops and everything else was all stuffing. I can't believe I paid $38 for this. The waitstaff were really good but it's unfortunate that the food quality/portion did nog match up to the price. I don't mind paying but it's got to be worth it. First up, our waitress was excellent, she was very attentive and offered suggestions that were spot on. They were glad accommodate our requests for slight variations of the entrees. The clam chowder and the maine steamers were as good as it gets. My wife thought the lobster sliders were wonderfully delicious. The lobster was hardly dressed at all. This is probably my favorite seafood place in Boston area. The shrimp saganaki, seafood sampler, and seafood marinara are my favorites. The oyster basket is an great app and few places will actually give you the portion they serve. The bar is nice with great beers on tap. I've met the owners and they're always around and are very invested in making this a great place to eat with great food. Another part I love is the fish market with fresh fish and great pre-made sides and desserts. Overall, great spot! read more
