I was in the area for a concert and looking to grab some food. After some searching, I found this wing spot nearby. The pictures looked so good so my experience was pretty surprising. Unfortunately, the wings were disappointing. The sauces were lackluster and didn't stick to the wings at all---it seemed more like they just poured the sauce on the wings after the fact versus the toss in the sauce method. The wings were bland otherwise. The fries saved the meal a bit, and the staff was very nice, but overall this was not the kind of wing experience I was hoping for.

I truly wish i would have taken the pictures before biting it and with better lighting. Anyways, location is central and we will definitely come back.... when they have more cooks the food was AWESOME!! But the wait for 1 combo sandwich was over 30 minutes. As much as the food was great, price/portion was awesome and flavor too... 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich combo is a no for me.. sorru

Tried Atomic Wings for the first time. Got it to-go and delivered. We ordered their 50 Traditional Wings Pack. We got the following flavors: lemon pepper rub, local hot garlic parm, sweet and tangy, thai chilli, garlic and truffle parm. They were all good, but we loved the dry rub more than the wet sauce. The wet sauce was honestly way too much, lol. Boneless wings were fire.. very good actually and would get again! We also got famous waffle fries and truffle garlic parm fries. They both tasted the same lol. Uber Eats had a deal to order a certain amount and get free fried oreos. They were so yummy to end the meal with! Definitely check them out!

Excellent mouth watering chicken that makes you want to come back everyday and try all the different flavors that they have. Service was excellent.

I've been meaning to try their wings out for some time now and finally made the plunge. They're from Buffalo NY and use unfrozen wings, which is fine which then makes the sauces the main players. I had Medium Hot and Hot Lemon Pepper which is my usual go-to for most wing joints. Initially. I won't likely return unless to try another menu item like chicken sandwiches, tenders, etc. I think they might have a drive thru. Limited in door seating and limited staff.

I do a ton a reviews and eat all over houston and the USA and I am glad I was able to stop in at atomic wings! J is the owner as he is doing an excellent job! Serving up amazing food and giving you top notch customer experience! He talks to every one that comes in. Very personable and friendly. Food: the wings are simply amazing ! Top notch wings. Full of flavor. Halal , hormone and antibiotic free! Big juicy flavorful wings. The mango Habenro are top notch. The Thai chili was amazing. Traditional buffalo are full of flavor as well. The waffle fries were crispy and tasty. Everything here is top notch! I am so glad I stopped in! If you follow me on yelp and want some great wings, do yourself a favor and stop in asap! Also I definitely want to come back try the pizza, fried Oreos and boneless wings. They have quite the offering! Great people serving up great food! I will back here asap! They also have a drive thru !

Tiniest $5.30 portion of coleslaw ever. Over $1 per bite.

Ordered a couple of times and mostly pleased. Wings good, fries good, sauces good. Happy with portion sizes of most items, but coleslaw costing over one dollar per bite makes it tough to support. $5.30 for honestly four or five bites of coleslaw. Pathetic - at least fill the tiny tin up. Hopefully a one time mistake, but won't find out. This may be petty, but there should either be an up charge for all flats or all drums, not both. One has to be more popular/valuable. Correct answer is obviously flats.

We went here on a Wednesday seeing that we were in the area. We live about 45 mins south of here. Overall, the experience was good. The only reason they lost 1 was because of the seating accommodations. *Service: 10/10. The ladies that were there offered samples of the sauces because we were indecisive about that we wanted. They were kind, friendly and attentive. *Ambiance 5/10: it is a small restaurant in a fairly sketchy part of Houston. In fact, there were a few stragglers in and out of the restaurant. Overall, the space was kept clean. It was a rainy day and the floors were being mopped. It smelled clean when we entered. The bathrooms were decent. The only feedback I have is that they need better seating. The restaurant is more of a pick up your order vibe. I definitely won't be back to dine in. Definitely "hole-in-the-wall". *Food: 9/10. The wings were cooked to perfection. I asked for the extra crispy traditional and it was great. The sauces come in three categories: sweet, medium and spicy. The hottest is Nuclear which is a wicked blend of a tad bit sweet, cayenne and hot peppers. I cook with habaneros and this was hot for me! The Atomic is remiscent of Buffalo but has habanero notes. The Mango Habanero is better than all other Mango Habaneros we tried across the Houston area because the Mango flavor was quite prominent. The Jerk was good but a tad bit sweet. The Thai Chili was a delicious blend between sweet and spicy. The wet Hot Lemmon Pepper has to be in my top 3 wing flavors. The dry Lemmon Pepper can't compare to the wet. The garlic parmesan was delicious as well. - Since we were there on Wednesday we got the Wednesday special of sandwich combo with waffle fries and drink for $10. We got Jerk with a splash of Nuclear in our sandwich and it was spice heaven. The waffle fries were definitely frozen fries so I'd give that a 1/10. Some of the pieces were not cooked from being stuck together in the freezer. - Sauces: their home made Ranch and Aioli were delicious. - A La Cart: you can get any wing sauce A La Cart. We got the Nuclear sauce and it was 100% worth it. *Likelihood of returning: pretty high if I'm in the area for pick up only.

Boxing and presentation very nice did not have my sauce running together and fries were separate.. loved it!!

I was very satisfied with the wings the presentation.. and most of all the cleanliness! Placed my order on yelp didn't quite complete. The order manager took the initiative to call and find out exactly what my order was processed quickly and also gave me an extra item. I definitely recommend this place and will return.

The restaurant itself is small with about 15 seats. It's not in a great part of town. The primary issue is I ordered a 10 wing meal and it took over 45 minutes to get made. There's only one poor cashier at the front who was on the phone dealing with a customer for 5 minutes before she was even able to take my order. Certainly not worth $15 for a meal.

this place is open really late and was empty when we walked in. the girl who was the cashier was mad af about who knows what but i digress. the food was good af i really loved the wings. they were super juicy and delicious. i would go back for the wings only the fries were just ok.

First time having Atomic Wings over here on 290 and 34th and I was very impressed with their wings. The sauce marinations were on point, I did Hot Buffalo and Mango Habanero and the Awesome Aloli sauce goes great with their Waffle Fries!!!! And the best part, everything there is Halal!!! Go check them out!!!

They offer several protein options (à la carte, with an extra charge), which is great if you want to make it a full meal. This Salata location off Wirt and I-10 is clean, spacious, and well-run. I've never waited more than a few minutes to order, though I usually avoid the peak lunch rush. Everything feels efficient without being rushed. Quick PSA for anyone planning a visit: they do not open for dinner on Sundays--they close at 4 pm. Learned this the hard way once when we walked almost a mile in near-freezing weather (for exercise, not necessity!) only to find it closed late Sunday afternoon. We were sad. Luckily there is a BuffBurger next door so we didn't so healthy that day. :) All that said, Salata is hands-down the best place for a solid, reliable salad. If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.

Eat, Drink, HTX…read more Made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner for three. The restaurant is so cute and cozy with tables and booths. Lots of TVs to watch the Olympic Games while you wait for dinner. I liked watching the open pizza oven. They make a lot of pizzas here. The Eat, Drink, HTX menus are a great way to try new restaurants while giving back to the Houston Food Bank. A starter, an entree and a dessert. $25 for dinner. So many choices on this menu. A great deal while helping out those in need. "Started" with the Turkey Samosas. Four crispy pastries that are filled with seasoned ground turkey, potatoes and parsley served with cucumber yogurt. Delicious! The Ember & Greens Soup that my family had was hot, hot, hot and so tasty. The fresh soup was filled with a blend of spinach, parsley, and cilantro with chickpeas, caramelized onions, pinto beans and quinoa. My FIL polished off his bowl! For dinner, we all had the Blackened Salmon. The salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa served on roasted carrots, broccoli and potatoes and a bed of quinoa. It was a full plate, which we all took home for dinner the next day. Note: it is quite buttery. My FIL had his butter and avocado salsa on the side which worked for him. I loved mine as is. Even though we were pretty full, we still enjoyed dessert. The tiramisu was so indulgent. Loved the layered mascarpone custard, whipped cream, coffee liqueur and coffee-soaked ladyfingers. My FLI had the Chia Seed Pudding with fresh berries. What a great meal. We had a slight hiccup where the appetizers came slightly after the main meal was served, but they were so honest about what happened that I still have to give them five stars for their food and their service. Would try them again for their generous, delicious meals. Lots of parking. Water glasses were frequently filled both with and without meals. Thank you for a really nice Sunday night dinner with family.

It was a beautiful day, so it would have been the perfect day to eat outside if you like that. I'm an eat indoors kind of person, but if you like to eat outside, they do have a few tables for that. I was meeting a friend for lunch and she suggested Ember & Green. We really couldn't decide what to order, so we decided to order a few things and share them. We started off with the Persian Cucumber Sald. It had Persian cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, red onions, and Kalamata olives with oil and lemon dressing and topped with parsley and feta cheese. Let me tell you, thats lemon dressing was delicious! It went so well with the cucumbers. Next we ordered Blackened salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa, served with charred broccolini, roasted carrots and potatoes on a bed of cilantro green pea quinoa. I'm really not a huge fan of salmon, but I'm trying to like it more by trying it different ways. The spices that they put on the salmon were really good, not too spicy, but also, not bland. It was also cooked perfectly. Oh, and that lemon butter... that lemon butter made the meal if you ask me. It was so good. So good in fact, I had to try and make salmon with lemon butter at him the very next week. Mine didn't come out as good as Ember & Greens, but it was decent. That just means that I need to leave the cooking to the professional. For dessert we decided to share the Skillet Cookie. Its a house made chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with Amy's Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream and chocolate sauce. This was the only thing that we ordered that was a nope. I dont know what happened, but it didn't seem like it was cooked at all in the middle. We took a few bites, that was all we could eat of it. All and all, it was a good experience and I will go back. I'll just skip dessert next time.

I wanted a pork chop or steak and saw this place and their pork chop. It looked great online. When I get there I ate at the bar. It was a coffee bar. Again- I should have done more research. So I was given a menu then I ordered the pork shop. And then the waiter said is that I and proceeded to give me my total. Another thing I have researched. It's counter service. Then I said I just wanted water. I waited for it and he said we have to help ourselves to drinks (later). So ok. Fine. Then later he told me they were out of pork chops. So I got the short ribs with the grits. The ribs were tender. They were tasty. The grits were good. The veg was good as well. I'd give the food a 4 but I would think, since they make their own pastries, they would make a bread to serve with dinner! But no bread so that drops it down a point or 2. Then the shot glass looked like it had been there unrinsed from the morning. Then as he proceeded to make the espresso- he had to fill the espresso machine (with tap water).
