The ingredients are consistently super fresh, and the salads are genuinely delicious--not the "I guess this is healthy" kind, but actually satisfying. The regular-size bowl is huge, so you definitely get your money's worth, though fair warning: once you add protein, plus tax and tip, it can come out close to $18. This Salata location off Wirt and I-10 is clean, spacious, and well-run. I've never waited more than a few minutes to order, though I usually avoid the peak lunch rush. Everything feels efficient without being rushed. Quick PSA for anyone planning a visit: they do not open for dinner on Sundays--they close at 4 pm. Learned this the hard way once when we walked almost a mile in near-freezing weather (for exercise, not necessity!) only to find it closed late Sunday afternoon. We were sad. I came during lunch time and was surprised that I was able to just walk right in and place my order without a wait. Everyone was so nice! Lunch rush can usually feel hectic, but the staff here worked at their own steady pace while keeping such a positive attitude. It's a new and large location, so there's plenty of places to sit and eat. It's definitely one of the better locations that we have been to. Other good locations are Weslayan, W Gray, and I-10 next to Energy Corridor/Hwy 6. This was one of the most ridiculous visits to this usually amazing chain, I am typically not one who puts a huge amount of ingredients in my salad, I truly like the Acadian mix and spinach and ask them to give me a good deal of those letters and for the first time ever I was told that they had to limit the amount of lettuce that goes into my bowl and I can understand that if I put a huge number of ingredients in my bowl, but I only put five ingredients in so although I paid for a large bowl, I actually had less than the person that was with me who ordered a small bowl, needless to say yet another restaurant that I will not be frequenting. This Salata location was too good that I'm leaving my review in real time as I am still eating my salad. I was so hungry so I pulled up around 3:30pm. There was plenty of parking and the location was easy to find. When I walked in, there was only one patron ahead of me and the young lady behind the counter was able to navigate taking both our orders at the same time and moving along the assembly line. I loaded up my salad with veggies, fruit (base salad is $10), avocado ($1.79) and the seafood mix ($4.79 extra). The portion size was perfect that I chose to dine in. The salad shop is immaculately clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and even gave me extra scoops of some items at no additional cost. This was my first time ever at Salata and it won't be my last. I hope the other locations are like this one. read more

I love salads so coming to a place that serves fresh ingredients is really important. A regular salad for me comes out to about $15 and I know what youre thinking, thats hella pricey but keeping the same ingredients fresh at home gets much more expensive! I love Salata! I used to work at one when I was in college. This location is brand new. The interior is very spacious with lots of seating. I was here on a Thursday for a late lunch and it was not busy. Food was consistent as always, and I was more than full by the end of my meal. I took off 1 star because it was hard to hear the workers behind the glass. Also, I'm not sure if it's a new rule but I was told there is an up charge to mix the dressings which is kind of sad because I always mix the fresh herb and ginger lime. But other than that, the food was fresh, tasty and I was full by the end! So happy a Salata opened up near me. read more

I eat about twice a week here, the staff is always very kind and quick with the order. I come here during the week for a nice, quick, and healthy lunch and you can always count on the salad to be not the most amazing meal you'll ever eat but solid enough to enjoy and get back to work. So happy this opened. We've already been twice. Very spacious and clean inside. I love their seafood mix with balsamic dressing on my salads. When I order a (cucumber) wrap, I always go with chicken. Would be great if this became an option for delivery service, too, 10/10. read more

Lovely staff and environment! Everything tastes fresh and they have so many great choices. I also love the prickly pear tea :)
