Considering I visited during the busy lunch rush, I'm surprised with how quickly and efficiently the service was. Got through the line, paid and found a seat all within 10 minutes.

Let's begin with a Raplata for one of the best locations of Salata. I like to sing fast songs but my fans love the BALLAD I like to log in but my password's INVALID I'm walking in the air with a Snowman like ALED And I like to go to Salata when I want SALAD Fresh greens are something for which we RALLIED And I like to worship Barbie if you'll let me be CANDID Anything she wants especially a tossed SALAD But she would never want me if I looked like DJ KHALED I wonder if my parking pass is still VALID I wonder if my voice could ever sound like KHALID I wonder why my d*** just got rock SOLID But I love Salata when it comes to SALAD They have the best salads you can get at the best prices, simply put. I haven't had fresher ones at any salad place in the country, nor any as big. I'm glad there is one on Wirt now, close to the Long Point gym I go to. Very very useful! Their croissant is good too, and you get one free with your salad. Oh, and the best dressing is the Lemon one, but a lot of people like Fresh Herb. It's a new and large location, so there's plenty of places to sit and eat. It's definitely one of the better locations that we have been to. Other good locations are Weslayan, W Gray, and I-10 next to Energy Corridor/Hwy 6. And let's finish with more rap: Finding good food is hard, finding good salad is HARDER Sometimes you pay a high price, some times you have to BARTER Sometime Barbie comes here in fencenets, sometimes in a GARTER But if you want a wonderful Salad, go to SALATA Now I have to go, so I'll Salata Alligator.

This was one of the most ridiculous visits to this usually amazing chain, I am typically not one who puts a huge amount of ingredients in my salad, I truly like the Acadian mix and spinach and ask them to give me a good deal of those letters and for the first time ever I was told that they had to limit the amount of lettuce that goes into my bowl and I can understand that if I put a huge number of ingredients in my bowl, but I only put five ingredients in so although I paid for a large bowl, I actually had less than the person that was with me who ordered a small bowl, needless to say yet another restaurant that I will not be frequenting. Now, all this being said, I think that Salata in general is a great company and they provide a wonderful product, but if they are going to start acting like this, they will lose my business.

This Salata location was too good that I'm leaving my review in real time as I am still eating my salad. I was so hungry so I pulled up around 3:30pm. There was plenty of parking and the location was easy to find. When I walked in, there was only one patron ahead of me and the young lady behind the counter was able to navigate taking both our orders at the same time and moving along the assembly line. I loaded up my salad with veggies, fruit (base salad is $10), avocado ($1.79) and the seafood mix ($4.79 extra). The portion size was perfect that I chose to dine in. The salad shop is immaculately clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and even gave me extra scoops of some items at no additional cost. This was my first time ever at Salata and it won't be my last. I hope the other locations are like this one.

I love salads so coming to a place that serves fresh ingredients is really important. A regular salad for me comes out to about $15 and I know what youre thinking, thats hella pricey but keeping the same ingredients fresh at home gets much more expensive! Place is very clean, and staff are friendly here. Just go! You'll appreciate it here :D

Great healthy food and service. Portions are large and can easily get two meals out of it so price isn't bad when considered.

Lots of seating, great wait staff, and the sandwiches are gigantic--as they should be for the price. $30 for a sandwich on average. We split an open face pastrami (which they brought an extra plate) and we are glad we did. The potato salad is tiny. Too much sandwich for one but not enough potato salad for two! The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet. We also had the apple pie alamode. Also pricey and gigantic. It was warm and delicious. Glad we tried this icon. We went at lunch and they get quite the crowd. You are not rushed at all. You can even take some bakery items to go--if you are too full to eat there. Amazing selection of cookies, rugala, black and white cookies and more.

A big part of the decades long success at Local Foods has been their commitment to consistency…read more Their casual setting with excellent service is one thing, but quality executed food that is simple and seasonal will always go a long way. Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.

One friend had the Thai steak salad and I had the veggie burger made with quinoa, beets and other vegetables. Wow...is what I will say!!! It was so flavorful and the focaccia bun (not gluten free) was incredible! Plus the double cooked fries were delicious! Oh, the side potato salad and kale salad were also delicious! I look forward to being back there next time I'm in Houston!!
