The food order arrived all at once with the steak and calamari coming all at once. Food was generally ok, nothing exceptional to note. My main grievance is that the pacing of the food could have been better. Since the appetizer and main came together it was unfortunate. This may seem like a minor issue but it displeased me as I felt rushed to eat everything at once. The waitress did take one item off my bill which I was grateful for. I've pasted Atrium in Ponce City Market many times. After my horrible brunch experience at another restaurant, I decided to try it. I got there around 2 pm, and there was no wait. We were seated immediately. The staff was very attentive and offered helpful advice on what to order. The food was good. I ordered the challah french toast, and my uncle ordered the smoked salmon tartine. The food did not take long to arrive at our table, and everything tasted good. The portions were smaller than I expected, but I was surprisingly food by the end of our meal. I'd definitely go here again. read more

While the beauty and effort behind Atrium is definitely palpable, the unfortunate fact of my shared experience was that effort and intent does not perfect execution make. I'll refrain from any direct complaints, instead I'll say avoid the roast duck, plan on dessert somewhere else at PCM, and maybe just make it a stop for cocktails? Decor wars continue in Atlanta and Atrium is slated to win! When I say beautiful, I mean it. Interior design is well thought out. To me a play on the old motel tropical but CHIC. Take that vision and run with it before you see the pictures. That's five stars alone! Food: I wanted everything on the menu but obviously had to settle for 5 items just in the interest of time and, duh, money! On a serious note, opened with Wagyu beef tartare and let's just say the presentation matched the flavor, really good. Definitely recommend the tartare to start if you're a fan. Went straight to mains but I always have to order a gnocchi if it's available. However, this gnocchi was a big GNO GNO! Very lifeless in contraire to other gnocchi dishes that pack a mean punch. Density, flavor, character is what I think when I think gnocchi. Let me preface by saying I love this place but I'd recommend taking the gnocchi off for now until they can figure out the structure and direction of it. Not completely horrible but enough for Me to spend a few sentences in this review trying to figure out why. Eeekk, sorry, on to the good stuff. KING OYSTER STEAK AND DUCK. If you don't see anything else in this review PLEASE understand why it's necessary that you indulge in these two mains. King oyster mushrooms seasoned to perfection paired with a medium steak that will send you to the moon! The DUCK. *sigh. AMAZING. Not a beets fan but with the Dino kale (what I assumed it to be) it all worked. Literally will go down in history as one of the best duck offerings in Atlanta, no cap. There was light at the end of the tunnel! Dessert was ok if you just want something sweet. Tart was good without the topping actually. Cocktails: Totally regret not getting Le Martini just because it seemed like a huge menu to do but the Deal's Revenge (old fashioned) did it for us. Kept them flowing. Was looking for after dinner cocktail but too soon timing wise for ports and dessert cocktails. The agnolotti was really good, but the flatbread wasn't that flavorful; it was filling but not worth it. For main courses we had the burger and the pork schnitzel. The burger was really good and the sauce that came on the side was delicious. The fries were salt and vinegar, but you couldn't taste the vinegar. The pork schnitzel was good, but the sauce it had on it needed a little more flavor and it would have been nice if it came with a side instead of needing to add a side to it. I probably don't need to go back here for food, but could be convinced to go get drinks here because of their unique cocktails and cool atmosphere. read more

Amazing dinner at Atrium. We started with the gnocchi for a starter - lemon zest was a nice touch and full of flavor. We had the pork schnitzel and the Joyce farms chicken for our meals - both amazing. Did not care for the carrots that came on the chicken dish. However, I'm someone that doesn't particularly care for carrots. The beets were ordered as an additional side - so delicious. The environment and decor is well thought out and very cozy. Great date spot. Loved that they had music playing but you could still hear what your dinner companion was saying to you. Overall, 10 out of 10! Will be back!! read more

I've come to atrium twice now. The energy inside is vibrant, but the food didn't match that energy. The service was a bit slow. The cocktails are great here and I think this place is a great stop for drinks and maybe small bites. I got the breakfast sandwich which was a bit underwhelming. I was super excited to try this new restaurant for its aesthetic and elaborate beverage menu. The ambiance didn't disappoint as I walked into the restaurant but the lighting could be a little off once it's dark outside. The menu had limited options. They only had two desserts and they weren't impressive. Tried the chocolate tart, the crust was off putting. We tried the iceberg wedge, watermelon, fries and chocolate tart. Loved the iceberg wedge, the watermelon was a very small portion and had minimal toppings. Our server Mike was amazing, very knowledgeable (he gave us detailed description of the ingredients in the dish), polite and positive. We ordered Prosecco, American punch and the wink. So far our star drink was American punch, it wasn't strong at all. The wink was straight up Gin with botanics which might be for everyone. Our overall experience was good but won't be too motivated to go back unless there are new items to try or going with someone. read more

I would like to preference my review by stating we were not made aware of the restaurant having had a fire a week prior and the chefs were working with only one stove. That being said, we had reservations for a birthday dinner for my grand niece at 5:30 pm. Some of us left home on time and came from Dallas, Grayson, Alpharetta Georgia only to be meet with 1- 2 hour waits circling around Ponce City Market just to get into Atrium (we had 3 of us affected by this). We were treated very rudely by the Manager with snide remarks and a condescending attitude (man with the green sweater) and not made to feel welcome. We tried our very best to wait for the others and ended up not being able to order because we got bumped down behind two tables. Our server was decent however there could have been better communication about what was going on with the restaurant. I feel this was a missed opportunity for staff to showcase better training on how to treat customers amid all the challenge. The food was good, not the service. I will not return and my grand neice who set up the dinner was really disappointed and embarrassed; she got the referral from social media. It may not matter to you, but there are 9 people who did not have a good experience. One never made it in after being trapped in the parking deck 2 1/2 hrs and had to eventually just leave. read more

All 3 stars is just because the place was really cute. My drink and my meal was absolutely trash. Sometimes I'm able to still eat food even if I don't like it too much, but I got the steak frites with fries and it was just terrible, taste wise. I can't explain it but I only had 2 bites. The green sauce they put on top also has an oil and they drown the fries under the steak and it soaks in that oil. It was so bad my stomach was hurting and I had to send it back. I get back 2 plates one with new fries and the 2nd with a new steak on it (which was cold). I sent the steak back with my waiter since I didn't like it anyhow and he comped me for it, which I appreciated. My drink was horrible, taste like a bunch of juice with no alcohol. Overall, I'd prbly come back and sit at the bar area on a night out, but I wouldn't eat here unless it's the wedge salad, that was pretty good. read more

I went here one time and it was empty. I was attempting a date but the empty restaurant was not helping my awkward personality. The food was good and didn't take to long. The restaurant was empty so I suppose that's why. The woman I went on the date with has yet to call me back and I feel the atrium is 26% to blame. I also had a very painful pooping the next day. We ordered arugula salad which was fantastic looking and tasting with crunch, beautiful radishes l, avocado Everything else was okay -- I ordered octopus ( good not great), chickpea sticks ( no flavor but sauce good) and husband had burger which he said was avg Service was great ! Resto was empty on Sunday evening and by the time we left, they were out of mussels . I would return for drinks and ambiance but would value a more diverse menu and was definitely influenced by reviews too. We had the crudo, tartare, octopus, mussels, panisse, and agnolotti. I would order any of those again. The octopus was my favorite. The drinks were a bit on the sweet side. I had a zero proof and my husband had a cocktail followed by a punch. Service was good. Our server was attentive and nice, if not the most knowledgeable about the dishes. My sisters and recently tried this place after a relaxing spa day. The atmosphere is beyond cute!! Like a Miami vibe...fun decor, fun music, fun bar. We arrived right when they opened and was told it would be an hour wait unless we want to try out luck at the bar. We tried the bar and was glad we did. The cocktails were fun and festive (it was right after Christmas). I had a coquito cocktail and it was the best!! Lots of flavor and perfect post holiday drink. The food was great...didn't take long. I started with the shrimp tostada and it was the best...avocado with great seasons on the grilled shrimp. I could have ordered 2 more. I then had the fish sandwich that was pretty crispy and seasoned well. My sister had the mussels and I love the crispy bread the come along to dip in the flavorful sauce. Had wanted to try this unique looking experience at Ponce City Market for some time. My family was with me and found the greeting by the hostess to be friendly and welcoming. We sat and sat...and sat a while longer. Eventually a very polite waiter came and apologized for the delay and took our drink and app orders. No water for the table and we asked a manager for some - again, very nice and polite but the entire staff seemed harried. They were clearly understaffed and I get it in todays job market how hard it is to find and keep a good team. The food took quite a while. The apps were good - enjoyed the octopus and the mushroom flatbread. The entrees - skip the beef ribs. Really fatty and gristly. The brunch sandwich tasty but zero sides. Food overall was tasty but the service was so slow and painful I wouldn't recommend this restaurant until they get this right. It's a shame as it is a really cool and unique space. read more

I would not go - especially if you are with a group larger than 4 people. Here's why: last night a group of my friends visited Atrium for a networking meeting. We made a reservation, they couldn't accommodate us all at one table, so they split us in two. No big deal. The trouble came when (as often happens with these things) a couple of the women were late. I was the first late arrival (arrived at 5:45 for a 5:30 reservation). I went to sit with my friends (table one) until the other guests arrived (for table two) and was told by the hostess that I would need to sit alone in another part of the restaurant until my table two friends arrived. I was also told that I would not be permitted to order anything at table one. When my table two friends did come, we were told that we had missed the "grace period" and that we could not have our table. The restaurant was probably at 25% capacity, and there was plenty of space for us. The whole thing was unpleasant and combative - more like the DMV than an upscale restaurant. I will certainly was not treated like they valued our business and will not be back. Having said all of this, I am giving an extra star for our wonderful waitress and the beautiful decor. read more

This place is just as beautiful as it appears in photos. There are two rooms; room one has a bar with a few dining tables and the second room is the main dining room which includes a view of the kitchen. The ambiance/decor/the staff is very nice and it could potentially be a 5 star in my book but the food was just meh. We started off with the satory forrest cocktail which was alright. I wish it was more alcohol forward, not a big fan of sugary drinks but that's preference. We ordered the foie gras terrine which was delicious but the bread was too hard/chewy. We also ordered the flatbread which was mediocre. For the main course I got the pork schnitzel topped with a caper lemon brown butter sauce. The sauce didn't have enough tang which made the pork slightly bland. My boyfriend got the grilled duck which was savory but a little fatty. Overall, the food was just alright. Keep in mind main dishes vary between $23-$45. Will I come back again? Maybe in a few months once they've settled in and have gotten their rhythm. read more

We asked to see the menu before we entered the establishment and that's when she looked my girlfriend up and down and gave her the most disgusting look I have ever seen.
