We had three different estimates to replace our attic insulation and entire ducts before I called AttiCare. The estimates were literally a world apart and it was frustrating because every person I spoke with had their own sales pitch. We had a pretty bad problem with rats getting in our garage, walls and attic. Raz and his team did a great job cleaning out the attic with all the old insulation and rat droppings and installing new insulation. They sealed holes all around the house to prevent the rats from getting back in. Raz came back again shortly after they completed the job to check on things and make sure everything was ok. Recently I started hearing noises again in the attic and found evidence of rats in our garage again. I called to have them come back and check, and Raz came out to inspect everything. He found an area in the attic where they were getting in and closed it up and cleaned the area. He was unable to find where they were getting in through the garage but he helped set some traps that we had. I heard noises in the walls (not attic) after Raz left so I called him again. He was kind enough to come back again the next day to check on things. Since then, the traps have been set off, but nothing caught. Raz has come yet again and may have discovered another opening this time, so hopefully this will be the last time he has to come out. read more

We called several companies to come give us an estimate. Understandably, it's the peak of summer so a lot of them couldn't come out for about a week just to give us a quote. This was the last company to come out and take a look. In my mind I had already chosen a company, but as the gentleman (his name is Alex) was going through is presentation I quickly changed my mind. All the other companies just came out, climbed into the attic and gave me a piece of paper with a quick explanation. Alex did his inspection and then sat down and gave me a full blown presentation; including pictures and wrote everything out for me. It was so professional and thorough. So much so that I figured the price at the end was going to be way out of budget. But to my delight it was very reasonably priced especially given the amount of work required. He answered all my questions, he we so polite and personable and even came back after the work was done to answer follow up questions. The crew that came to the house, they were also professional and courteous. The whole thing was just a pleasant experience. I highly recommend you call these people and ask specifically for Alex. RAZ is the man. he came out and assessed my home, was very honest. said that i did not have a problem that was worth spending for.

Raz originally came out to do a thermal scan and an attic clean-up due to a past rodent infestation that we had neglected to clean-up. Well the amount of clean-up was much more than anticipated and the thermal scan showed the heat loss was mainly tied to the attic. So a couple hundred dollars turned into thousand of dollars, but I am pleased with the result. The 7 person team spent over 8 hours in our attic cleaning out all the old insulation and the rat leftovers and though they didn't find any current infestation or entry points they did seal off a couple of potential entry points. They then put in all new insulation on the floor and the walls of the attic and put in the radiant barrier throughout. I was able to look at their progress as they went. They did a very nice job of sealing off the house where they were working and cleaned-up well after they left. Everything looked great and I felt we had a clean and safe attic, but I didn't want to post a review until it got cold. I can say that the comfort level in our home has improved greatly, as the heat stays in the rooms longer. I am hoping the same can be said about the radiant barrier and its ability to keep the house cooler during the summer months. While it was costly, I feel that it was worth it and the AttiCare team took their time to do a thorough job. read more

I picked this company based on review I read on Yelp and I couldn't have been happier!! Aaron A. Called and asked if he could come a little earlier than we were scheduled, which was fine with me. He arrived when he said he would, was well groomed and courteous! We were concerned that we might have some damage in our attic due to rats. Aaron did a complete inspection and showed us the result on his camera. He felt that no damage was done, and we were good to go. The amazing thing is the inspection was free as they told us it would be, and they was NO attempt to tell us we needed further work done! Aaron was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable! A big thanks to the Atticare crew for a job well done. I hired them to vacuum out the attic, seal any visible holes, wrap insulation around all ductwork and furnace/AC, cone each bucket light (so insulation doesn't burn on contact), and blow in fiberglass to R-38. Their bid for all of that was very competitive. A crew of 5 showed up on time, carefully and diligently worked for 9 hrs and they were surprisingly clean (and quiet) for such a dirty job. Walls and floors were covered and protected with plastic and they carefully vacuumed up any debris inside and out. They were super friendly and professional and they took lots of pictures and kept me posted each step of the process. They even help me to seal some of my leaky ducts, so now I get strong heat and a/c in all of the rooms. Unfortunately, a few of my bucket lights got minor damage in the process and there were minor cracks in my old plastered ceilings (things happen when 5 guys are moving around in the attic of an old house). I simply noted the damage to the team lead Austin and the general manager Scott called me the next day to schedule their handyman to fix everything to my satisfaction. No denying, no arguments, just plain great customer service and follow up. read more

Like other people have written here, we were impressed and excited by the advertised $79 clean out special. I even confirmed it with the rep I spoke with on the phone and messaged with here on Yelp. However, the day that we had scheduled for the attic clean, I was surprised when only one person showed up... With a tool box. Turns out the $79 clean out is completely false advertising and to just clean out our attic (1100 square feet approximately of dust, some old insulation and old rat droppings) it would cost us 2200-2500 (depening on what "discount" we were offered). The "attic clean out appointment" wasn't actually a clean out, but was a sales pitch. We had full installation installed in the entirety of the outer walls of our home (by a different company) and it cost 2200! The representative (while very kind!) told me it's "such a big job so $79 doesn't make sense"--- (then why advertise that!?). To vacuum out an attic is work for sure, but not $2500 worth for 3 people with an industrial vacuum! We will definitely be taking our business (and money) elsewhere. This company goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. My wife and I bought our first house this year and needed to replace the duct work for the furnace as it was blowing pink fiberglass throughout the house. I called Atticare as they had done a job for my neighbor and he recommended them. I also called two other companies. I liked Ben from Atticare the best of the three people I had interviewed so decided to go with them. They replaced all of the duct work in the house, sucked out the old insulation from the 1950s and blew in new insulation to help keep the house warm in winter and cool in the summer. A week after the job was done we had a little residual insulation continuing to blow out of the furnace and Ben personally came out to help resolve the problem. Raz came to our house on a Sunday morning, inspected our attic and went over several options which included adding to the existing insulation to replacing it with quality R38. By Tuesday of that week, our attic was overhauled. The old insulation was removed and replaced. They vacuumed thoroughly, removed excess construction material that was in the attic since the house was built, and nicely screened and foamed all critter access openings. All at a very reasonable price and expedited time frame. Great work in very difficult conditions. I was very impressed by their due diligence in not leaving a trace. Nice job guys ! read more
