I hope he is incredibly successful. *** I was going to give two stars, but I found a hair in my food. That's inexcusable for me. I've tried this place a couple of times and they are not good. The food feels cheap and the flavors are pretty lacking. My pita was soggy when I got it. The cheese bread was stale like it had been sitting out for a few hours. The service has been slow each time and the wait is terrible. I had their jalapeño vinaigrette, which was pretty good, but nothing else was worth going back for. I love this place for one of the healthier food options. It's usually always packed. I normally get the coconut curry chicken bowl, comes with a side of kale and cheesy bread. I don't really understand some of the negative reviews- I've had a lot of the menu items and I've loved everything I've tried. My favorites : The Mediterranean Bowl (vegan and gluten free), the Dream Salad (gluten free), the chicken bites and sweet potato bites (gluten free), the hibiscus raspberry tea, and the nice cream sundae (SO SO GOOD). They've recently changed the ordering set up so that you go straight to the cashier to place your order and then they'll bring your food to you. I haven't gotten used to it yet since I like to customize my order sometimes and its much easier doing so as they're making it. I very much love how they only use extra virgin olive oil to cook with, and no refined sugars. I wish we had more places like this one. There are a few tables near outlets so I've occasionally brought my laptop to do some work. read more

I love Aubergine. Ive been eating here since it first opened in Orem. Everything on the menu is really good. I stopped in for some food at the Riverton location and the person at the register was so nice and friendly. I love how the food doesn't weigh me down and make me feel bloated after. We love Aubergine, but this location is poorly managed. We waited in line for close to 30 minutes for our food. The employees are unfriendly and rude when you ask for substitutions and act like they're put off for having to do their job. They messed up our order multiple times simply because they didn't ask what we were wanting and just assumed. Also was not very clean or sanitary. We will not be coming back to this location. Wow. I absolute LOVE this place. Everything you could ever want in one posh cafe. Açaí bowls, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, cheese bread (must try fresh)...you won't be disappointed. I had the most delightful experience with Rose helping us navigate the huge selection! Her service was 5 stars, definitely will be coming back to this place to try everything they have to offer. Second time here. This time I got the Thai bowl. It was slightly better than the Spicy Coconut Curry bowl I had the last time. The flavor was slightly better, but far from authentic. Mixing things after the fact does not a curry make. With curries, the meat and veggies are cooked in the spices and they absorb the spices. It seems that mixing separately grilled chicken and veggies and then pouring on a "curry" made with coconut milk passes as authentic these days. I really want to like this place. I think it's great to have a healthier eating option locally, but at the least, be authentic guys! I genuinely want to find a dish I can say was something that will keep me coming back. Admittedly, my wife and I might eat here more than we should but we just really love the food. I haven't had a dish that I didn't like yet. The thing we really love, however, is the Nice Açaí Cup. It's our favorite dessert. Best of all, it's sweetened with honey and dates; no processed sugar. Date night routinely consists of Açaí cups and long talks. We've ordered them so frequently that the attentive employees know what we're going to order before we get to the counter. Customer service here is fabulous. Aubergine Kitchen is definitely in our top three places to dine out for any occasion. It's the kind of place you want to take a friend who's in from out of town. I love this restaurant so much because it has all organic food, no sugar, all gluten-free menu, and when you're finished, eating food here, you feel good inside, and not that terrible, bloated, unhealthy, feeling that you feel like at so many different restaurants. My sister cannot eat any sugar, and when we were eating the delicious açai bowls here she suddenly became worried that it had sugar in it. After one of the team members serving our table, let her know that it was sweetened with dates, she was so excited to have found a place that actually cares about serving high-quality food. Generally, the customer service is good. Every once in a while, it is hard to understand one of the members because of language, but I'm very grateful for all of their hard work and effort. read more

My suggestion regarding service - if you are going to replace something in my order because you are out of it, please let me know before you start making it. I love the kale base, and tonight evidently they were out of kale so the person just subbed romaine lettuce without saying anything. I have celiacs, a gluten allergy, and most of their menu is marked gluten-free. However, the staff was completely ignorant, regarding what gluten was and cross contamination. After watching them cross contaminate the sauce going on my bowl from the person before me I asked for sauce from the back, and nobody could understand why I would need sauce from the back. Meanwhile, we are waiting, we watched a staff member with a gloved hand, pick out a piece of sausage and eat it and then continue to help with the next order. Staff members were also snapping selfies while on the line right in front of us. Some staff members had hair nets on others did not. Some had gloves others did not. The manager did help get the food from the back for me however, he also did not understand gluten-free and cross contamination. For somebody who has to have gluten free for health reasons, and not by choice this was not a safe restaurant. If you are going to mark most of your menu, gluten free or dairy free, please actually educate your staff members to understand what is gluten, and where the risks may lie. Have protocols to assist with such needs, or disclose You are a cross-contamination risk upfront. To boot the rice was undercooked and inedible. Skip it. read more

I've never been disappointed by Aubergine. Over the years some menu items have come and gone which has been sad but their choices are nonetheless amazing. The staff at this location were incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and overall they provide an excellent customer experience. Last night I had the Ahi Tuna wild fish bowl and it was terrific; they never overdo the grains in their bowls so it is always a perfect balance between rice and veggies. The ahi tuna was well seasoned and I loved the nuttiness from the sesame seeds and the slivered almonds in the bowl. I wish the spivey cashew sauce had a tad more spice to it, but overall it was so good. I love that it has plenty of gluten free options so I can bring my sister there. read more
