I've never been disappointed by Aubergine. Over the years some menu items have come and gone which has been sad but their choices are nonetheless amazing. The staff at this location were incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and overall they provide an excellent customer experience. Last night I had the Ahi Tuna wild fish bowl and it was terrific; they never overdo the grains in their bowls so it is always a perfect balance between rice and veggies. The ahi tuna was well seasoned and I loved the nuttiness from the sesame seeds and the slivered almonds in the bowl. I wish the spivey cashew sauce had a tad more spice to it, but overall it was so good. I love that it has plenty of gluten free options so I can bring my sister there. read more

We like this location and eat here often. The employees are always so nice. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because for the last 2 weekends, we have gotten take out and both times they forgot the sauce and the cheese bread. We live about 15 minutes away so it's not worth going back, but the bowls definitely don't taste as good without the sauce. It kind of makes it a waste of money. We're going to have to remember to check for sauces and cheese bread before leaving. read more

Honestly? Sucked. Wouldn't let my DOG eat here. I ordered quinoa and salmon. It tasted ok, however, the salmon was gooey and felt undercooked. About ten minutes after I finished eating at this so-called restaurant, I started feeling extremely nauseous. I got a salmon bowl. I asked them to replace the spicy cashew sauce with sesame one and they didn't do it. They still gave me the cashew sauce and some green sauce, I'm not sure what. I put in on my food and got a bad stomached afterwards. I didn't even finish half my bowl, so sad, I wanted to give this place another try because I prefer to eat healthy, but ughhhh, must be allergic to some ingredient that they don't tell you is in it. The food at Abergine is mostly good, though I've had a couple of dishes that were just OK, (as in, I won't order again), but the bill can add up quickly. Also, there is something odd about the employees: They move in slow motion. Seriously... It's like they are trained to move slowly. Is this part of the slow food movement? LOL! read more

Good food, but the service is very underwhelming; slow, inefficient and unfriendly. My friend and I were the only people in the restaurant, there were at least 5 employees on-site, yet only one worked on our sandwich order which took nearly 20 minutes! I will not return. read more

First and last time trying. Out shopping yesterday and went in for lunch. Several people at tables, no one in line. Two people waiting for to go orders. After waiting for any acknowledgement I was there (none), they came and took my order, at 12:33. Side Mac and Cheese and a lemonade. Got my cup and went to look for a table. My sister was behind me to order, and after her was my niece (all separate orders). There were 4 empty tables (all dirty). Napkins are not out anywhere but there was a paper roll under the overflowing dish/trash drop off so grabbed some to wipe the table off. Sat down followed by the rest of my group. My niece and I each got a strawberry lemonade $3.75). Tasted like water, almost zero taste. Lots of food coming out. Sister (sweet potato bites) and niece (Rio bowl) food came out at around 15 minute mark. They had ordered at 12:36/12:37. At 12:57 my sister went to the cashier about my food. Said they were working on it. Sister finishes her lunch, we are all sharing the Rio bowl. A few more minutes pass, and as another worker walks by with food for another table, my sister again asks about my mac and cheese. He nods and goes back into kitchen, it's after 1pm now. Just as I'm about to go ask for a refund, they bring out the Mac... in a to go container. Not really surprised about that, as I had said the order was for here. Tried it and closed the lid. Everyone was done with their lunch so I just took it home. When you place your order, you're prompted to tip. I find this so annoying as you've done nothing but take my order. I had tipped 15%. Wish I could go back and take that back. Service 0, Ambiance 0, Food: Rio bowl was good, sweet potato bites tasty, Mac and cheese not really much flavor. Would not recommend but perhaps another location might have their act together and may have better service/cleanliness. read more

My husband and I had decided we were going to have Greek Food for dinner only to find the Greek places was not open. We opted for Aubergine Kitchen because it was close, new, and we hadn't been. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our hopes of Greek Food was not all lost. So many items on the menu looked delicious, but I settled in the cauliflower rice bowl while my husband went with the Tri-tip dinner. The menu says the cauliflower rice bowl come with spicy cashew dressing, however my wimpy mouth did not find the dressing spicy at all. The cauliflower rice on the other hand, it was delicious, but a bit spicy. The little cheese bread that accompanied the meal(s), was quite delicious as well. For the tri-tip dinner my husband had the option of baba ganush or hummus and decided to try the baba ganush. It had a very earthy flavor and was reminiscent of mushrooms or olives (neither of which I enjoy) and my husband thought it was decent. His meal also came with a pesto type sauce that was very good. I like this place, good service, nice ambiences, a cool vibe, a great menu, but my meal was just "ok" so I can't give it 5 stars. The bread had a good flavor, but it was under baked and not cooked through so it was doughy/stodgy. The Ahi I ordered was not fresh. First time visit. Ordered takeout. Drove a looonng way to try them out. Got home with our order (in the bags stapled shut) and found that our veggie  burger was a chicken sandwich!  Being a vegetarian, that wasn't going to work. I called the restaurant and asked that they send a veggie burger by DoorDash. They wanted to argue with me rather than replace or refund. I asked to speak to a manager and they said there wasn't anyone available.  One of the cooks then took the phone and said she made that veggie burger! I offered to text a picture and she said I should just come pick up a veggie burger. $30 and a 45 minute round trip?  No thanks. She then hung up on me! I rarely give a "bad rating" somewhere. If I do, I always will give multiple chances for things to be made right and try to be patient--everyone deserves to be treated like a human being and I always try to have a diplomatic approach to tough situations. This was no different. I just got my vaccine and was needing some food. I was shakey and all; I really really needed to eat. I live in Eagle Mountain but wanted to pay a visit to this location. I downloaded their app for easy ordering and because I know it supports the business. I get more food than I was hungry for--again, for support. Since covid, I've really been trying to help out local places as much as I can. While there is a few locations now, I do consider it local still. I place my order and wait. And wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. I wasn't expecting it to be super fast and I was patient. But it's a slap in the face when I am watching GROUPS go in, order, get their food and come out. Then I'm watching the girls working and they are just standing there after helping the customers. It got to the point that I was like "where tf is my food?". I waited a bit longer. It was only about a $14 order. I wasn't sure why it was taking so long when it really seemed like a place where you just scoop things into a bowl... I wasn't going in for health reasons but after over 30 minutes I felt like I had no choice. There was my order...sitting there...not being taken out. Their reasoning made no sense. They kept pointing out the time but the time for the order was ASAP...and if the order is done, it should be taken out instead of sitting on the counter. When you go into a restaurant, you pay for fresh food, not leftovers that are growing mold. They were refusing to give me my order, refusing to give me a refund, and the whole thing was really a terrible experience. I left with no resolution or food. I am honestly assuming that the employees wanted free food on my expense. It wasn't a terrible amount to be wrongfully charged but it is my money for something I didn't get. That feels like theft. When I got home, I called and asked for manager contact information. I could not get anywhere. The girl on the phone was no help and told me I could find it myself. She claims she has no idea who her manager is and hung up on me. When an employee does that, you KNOW they're in the wrong. I paid for food I didn't get and was talked down on by the employees multiple times. I was patient and nicely asked for my order. It was all turned on me so they could have a free meal at my expense. They weren't ever going to bring my food out to me if I couldn't even go in and get it from them. It's less about the money and more about the overall experience. I was never given my food, never given an apology. Never given any kind of sympathy or anything. If there is one place I will be avoiding from now on, it is here. I did nothing wrong. I was just trying to support the business and ended up getting screwed over. read more

We ordered here twice. The first time was amazing! I would have given it 5 stars from that experience alone. Everything was cooked perfectly and everyone was happy. We were looking forward to the same experience the second time around but unfortunately, the second dinner we had with Aubergine Kitchen was less pleasant. The proteins in each order were extremely overcooked to the point where they were hard to chew. It's too bad that we now know we run the risk of not knowing if the experience will be wonderful or nearly inedible so we will not be likely to be returning to this restaurant. read more

So so good! I've been here 4-5 times now and it's quickly become one of my favorite restaurants around here. Everything I've gotten has been delicious and - even though it's possibly more than I should eat in one sitting - I always finish it and never feel gross afterward. This place here is difficult to place, the food here is great, no doubt about it, the pricing is a little up there but it is good food, the drink options are not as varied as one would hope but they don't taste bad. This place is in the middle ground, like I would come here if I had to but I wouldn't choose to, it's weird, I ordered the Margarita Pita Pizza and it was great. If I could give this place a score out of ten, it would be a 7.5 but because of yelp, I can give it a 4, but this place needs a bit more variety I would say, but I would recommend it to someone who wants to try something new. I love their falafel. It's crispy and salty and large. I sub out the chicken in their Protein Salad with the falafel. And they have Brazilian cheese bread! Both times we've gotten the bread at this location it's been nice and warm. My only complaint is the wait time: they don't ever seem to have all ingredients ready to go when we order. So, we typically have to factor in a longer wait time than expected for this place. But I still think it's worth it. read more

I would eat here every day if we had one in my pocket of suck in California. Food is legitimately healthy, not fake-healthy. Extremely easy to eat vegetarian or even vegan, and caters to those with phony self-diagnosed gluten sensitivities, but I won't hold that against them. I ordered curbside pickup from here today and got a Mediterranean bowl. It was plenty of food, but they forgot my cheese bread! The best part! I live far enough away that I couldn't turn around to get it and I didn't think to check my bag before I left. I shouldn't have to check my bag though because my food should all be there. I have also had a problem the last couple times I have been here with them answering the phone. It rings and rings and no one answers. They need a better system for indicating that you have arrived for an online order pick up because they clearly have a hard time answering the phone. I usually give up and have to go inside to get my order, which defeats the purpose of ordering for pick up. Today, someone actually picked up the phone after I called three different times. Despite me choosing a time nearly 45 minutes after I ordered, my food wasn't ready when I arrived. I understand the lunchtime rush can be tough but it is usually not busy enough to justify the sub-par service I have received.
