I bought my Q5 from a high-end dealership in Portland that only sells cars that meet exceptional standards. I purchased an extended guarantee and took my car to AUDI to have top to bottom 50k early check up. While in their care my was gifted a pretty big sized paint chip on the bumper. The manager Nicole Jarneski called me, said perhaps I hadn't noticed since my car came in dirty. I have been diligent at keeping my car detailed in general. I took my SUV to go MT Hood the day before. One of the reasons I bought a SUV. There is no way that dirt from snow would make a observant eye miss such damage. Nicole then proceeds to send me fictitiously time stamped photos. I ask her to send me videos and give me a call back. She doesn't respond for over a week. Then sends me videos of me checking in, my car at a distance you cant see. Luckily, I had my IT guy at work zoom into the videos. Guess what? No Damage. A paint chip on my bumper is not the end of the world. However, if my car was damaged in a dealers possession it is their responsibility to fix the damage. Not try to cover their mistakes. Needless to say. I will be recommending that no one takes there car here. read more

I came into Audi Beaverton and was interested in test driving a pre-owned Audi Q5. I was not there to waste any ones time. I left feeling judged, profiled and not valued. This is defiantly not what I expected from a luxury dealership. No introductions, no handshake, no business card, and I had to ask my own follow up questions. I may have walked in wearing a backpack and dressed like I was going to the gym. But in that backpack was a pre- approval letter from a bank for a 2020 Audi Q5 if I wanted it. Brought my Q5 in for a regular manufacturing maintenance. Found out the back seat seatbelt buckle was not put back into the right place. Brought back the car to get it fixed. Then found out once again, the backseat was not put back properly, all crooked. This review is for the service department. 5* for Craig when I bought my car 1* for the service department. I called and spoke with Jonathan on 2/14/22 to get a copy of my service records. He said took my email and said it would take 2-3 days because they were extensive. I waited 8 days and still nothing. On 2/22/22 I called and was on hold for 25 minutes. Finally Joey picked up and transferred me to Jonathan. I told him I still haven't received my records. He said he sent it the day I called, but then asked me when my email was again. This contradicts what he told me initially and he should have known my email. Then he said he'll send it again. I told him I'll hold. He says he'll check back on me. On hold for 5 min, I get the email. The records weren't even extensive. It's just a screenshot with 7 service records. As soon as I get the email he hangs up on me. I had no issues with my previous service adviser, Brian Bement. After he left, I chose Chris Brezinski. My first red flag should've been when I went in for an oil change and he didn't even look up from his computer to help me. After that he's been very accusatory with the issues I've been having with my car. It took them 2 weeks after I stopped my car off to even look at the issue. I told them about a noise when driving on the freeway. Two weeks later he called me when I was in Hood River for the roof rack key because he couldn't hear the noise. He told me the tech drove it twice and couldn't hear it over the roof rack. He also told me he didn't even drive it on the freeway. So I drove 2 hours back to drop off the key. He also said the tech couldn't hear over my "cat back exhaust" and lowered suspension. Another red flag since my cat back exhaust is stock and my suspension doesn't make any noise. The tech really shouldn't be reaching my car down a cobblestone road when listening for a noise I specially told them is heard on the freeway. I got my car back with almost 40 miles added to the odometer and a bar of gas gone. The freeway from the dealership is 3.2 miles. I'm not sure how they can justify adding so many miles to my car. Another thing to note is that when I took my car for an oil change they drove it 3 miles and the drive select was in "Dynamic." The screen was on drive select mode when I got in my car. I never have that screen displayed. That seems a bit unnecessary for an oil change. read more

Terrible customer service, as soon as they sell a car to you then they're done with you. It has been one month since I purchased my brand new 2023 Audi, and I still waiting for my second car key from them. I have called them multiple times (4 to be exact) within the span of the past month, and each response they disregard and say they'll call me back but never do. Resulting in me feeling obligated to give them another call because of the work schedule conflict between my husband and I, it's necessary to have two keys. However Audi seems as though they blatantly do not care. This is not my first experience with their terrible customer service, when I went to go pick up the car after I had already purchased it, the seller seemed as though she just wanted to give me the car keys and leave, without giving me ANY sort of rundown of how the new technology in the car works. This place seems as though they are solely out to get your money from car purchases with complete disregard to customer satisfaction. They do not care. I DO NOT recommend buying from this dealership as I wish I didn't purchase my car from them as the hassle is NOT worth it. read more

The absolute WORST ongoing experience I have ever had! Issue #1 (read on for all the rest): Almost got killed! Their garbage service almost got my wife and son killed! The steering rack failed abruptly while driving, locking the steering straight while heading into a turn, then suddenly turning hard left and locking towards the edge of the road and incoming traffic! My wife was barely able to get the vehicle under control by pulling on the wheel as hard as she could, causing severe pain and damage to her post-surgery neck and back! Had the steering rack replaced, and IN WRITING Audi Beaverton refused to do any further work on the steering rack, even though we have a letter from Audi NA stating that the steering rack is under full warranty and all service will be honored.... and guess what happened next... the new steering rack did the EXACT same thing to ME while driving, with my wife and son also in the car! Audi Beaverton still refused to do anything about it until significant push-back by us and presenting the letter from Audi NA. Afterward Audi Beaverton ADMITTED to having not properly updated the firmware of the vehicle after installing the new steering rack which caused the second failure! Their mistake literally almost killed us! Issue #2: massive exhaust leak Our vehicle developed a severe exhaust leak, belching diesel exhaust directly into the cab. It was so severe that my son vomited in the back seat and complained his eyes and lungs were burning, and my wife got a severe headache, dizziness, burning eyes and lungs! Audi Beaverton's "solution" to the problem was, they told us to not drive the vehicle for just short trips, and to drive it more aggressively! ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME WITH THIS?! Audi Beaverton continued to blame our driving habits for the problem, until finally bringing the vehicle to them and demanding it be looked into... and guess what they found, the catalytic converter was completely clogged with crystalized DEF fluid, hence causing the exhaust to backup and leak into the cab. After they replaced the catalytic converter, the mechanic ON VIDEO stated "we do not know what is wrong with the DEF system that clogged the catalytic converter, and are going to release the vehicle back to us and "hope" that the system starts working properly"! This is beyond immoral and unethical! Issue #3: underpanels of vehicle ripped off while driving! The underpanels of the vehicle had to be removed to perform service on the vehicle, and were improperly installed TWICE! The first time it happened, I was able to resecure it myself, and discovered that the front-center panel's hardware had not even been tightened, which caused air to rip the panel downward while driving effectively acting like a large airfoil, causing the steering to become erratic and unstable due to the large panel grabbing the airflow like a parachute! The second time this happened, the two front outer panels ripped off while driving, and caused damage to the large center-mid panel! This happened just days after Audi Beaverton had these panels off for yet another service/repair. Audi Beaverton BLAMED US for the panels ripping off saying " we must have hit something". They quoted us $895 to fix THEIR screw-up! Issue #4: failed alignment service damaged our new tires Brought the vehicle in for an alignment, which wasn't done properly, causing significant wear on the front right tire. Again, Audi Beaverton refused to fix their mistake, and quoted us for realignment, and also once again blamed us for the misalignment, claiming once again "we must have hit something", and claiming a literal chip in the wheel paint (with absolutely no damage whatsoever to the metal underneath the paint) was proof of that! What a joke! After days of arguing they finally performed the realignment... And guess what, it was a few degrees out of alignment! Issue#5: No loaner vehicle provided, breech of warranty contract As part of the 'Dieselgate' warranty, Audi NA states that a loaner vehicle will be provided when services are performed on the vehicle. A loaner was provided about 60% of the time, leaving us with rental bills. Our vehicle has been at Audi Beaverton for approx. 9 months now, as we refuse to take receipt of it until these issues are resolved! We have got nothing but "the runaround" by Audi Beaverton, and they refuse to do ANYTHING to resolve these inexcusable problems! read more

I give two-star because of the price/value. I won't be giving any higher because of attitude problems with the sales experience. You see, in general, the people here are very nice and polite. However, the problem is that depending on who you get assigned to, the experience quickly degrades, for a variety of silly reasons. "Gary" came off rude, pushy and impatient. It clearly wasn't personal. He just has a VERY hard time with technology. He got really frustrated at the fact that the insurance is a digital card. Insurance digital cards have been a thing for at least 10 years. I emailed it to him with some other digital items (i.e. Bank statement), he got more frustrated and claimed to be unable to pull them up for printing. Mind you, this is the same email address that we'd been talking to each other over the past two weeks. Second, the credit union that holds the current loan has it locked behind a department that isn't open on the weekends, so an exact payoff cannot be attained. I asked Gary multiple times how this was going to be handled and he assured me they could still do the process. Not true. Lastly, I will warn you NOT to waste your time doing an online credit app. They won't use it to speed anything up, they will ask for the same data again at the dealership and run credit AGAIN (double inquiries). They reuse nothing but your name and address. My goal was to do as much as possible BEFORE eating an hour long drive in bad traffic and avoid sitting in a dealership for hours more. Despite promises and repeated assurances that would not happen, it did. I don't know if that was a Gary-only issue. But it was a terrible experience. read more

OMG this dealership has failed in so many ways. Last weekend, I went to start our 2016 Q5. Wouldn't start. The error message: Defective steering. Do not drive. Dealership doesn't have towing service so we made arrangements to have it towed to the dealership on Sunday. We were told it would take 3-5 days before they could get it in. Asked about getting a loaner. Answer: no. All loaners are booked til end of January. Really? Having never heard a peep from the dealership, we started calling on Day 5: "We have talk to the technician". Never heard back. Called on Day 6 "we have to talk to the technician. Never heard back. Day 7 I went to the dealership. I was told "we have to talk to the technician". I had to tell them this was 3rd day in a row of the same message. The service guy said he was reaching out to "Freddy" the technician. No reply. So the service guy went to the shop to talk to Freddy. Came back to say "the car is dead!" No kidding. He said they couldn't move the car and would have to put the car on a set of dollies to move around. And the dealership has only 1 set of dollies and they were under another car. We would have to wait until that first car is fixed. How long? Don't know. My question to the service guy: so how did the tow truck driver override the transmission to neutral and push the car out of the garage, to the street and steer it yo the tow truck? Don't know. He thinks the entire steering stack will need to be replaced. How much is that? Don't know. May I speak to their ice manager? Well he isn't here because it's Saturday. If you need Audi service, run away from this dealership. read more

I relocated to Portland in November 2019 and had my Audi Q3 tranported. When my vehicle arrived, I scheduled an appointment at Audi Beaverton to inspect the vehicle after a 2,000 mile trip and to establish a relationship with their service department. In April 2020, I had my annual service done on the vehicle at 39K miles. In July 2020, I had a flat tire that fell under my 60K tire warranty and the following week my battery was dead. This was the third battery in four years. In September 2020, my fuel door was not operating properly so they replaced the fuel activator. They did not reinstall the fuel door cover correctly so I took it back twice to get it adjusted. In November 2020, the left lower arm bushing broke so I took it to Audi Beaverton for repair. At this point the vehicle is no longer under warranty. Upon picking up my vehicle, the noise in the front end was still present so I called my service advisor who told me he heard the noise, had his shop foreman compared it to another 2016 Audi Q3 on their lot, and found the noise to be acceptable. I brought the vehicle in for service of a loud noise coming from the front end and I expected to pick up my vehicle with the noise eliminated just like it was before the bushing broke. I was not happy with the front end repair so I asked for a phone call with their service director, Peter Young, and service advisor, Chris Theriat. On that call, they told me I was "needy" and suggested I take the vehicle to the other Audi dealership to they can diagnose the vehicle instead of making good on their repair. The conversation went downhill from there. I was insulted by the "needy" comment as I have been loyal in having my vehicle serviced at Audi Beaverton. I would not recommend having your vehicle serviced at this dealership as they were condescending and unprofessional in their comments not to mention ungrateful for business!! read more

Audi Beaverton service department is absolutely FANTASTIC!! Maritza has been nothing but helpful, she goes above and beyond with communicating and providing quality customer service. I just bought a Q8 and had to take it in for the extra items we purchased to be taken care of. Unfortunately my back tail light cover had a crack in it and had to go back for repairs, Maritza scheduled everything and got a loaner for me immediately it was not able to be fixed before I left on a trip. She scheduled to have the loaner car picked up and my vehicle dropped off at my house the day after we returned and made everything so easy for me. She is fast to respond and will communicate via text so it's not about being put on hold and waiting (some may want personal communication and she will do that as well but I am completely fine with text msgs). I absolutely appreciate and will definitely recommend Audi Beaverton to anyone who is interested in Audi in the PNW. I bought an Audi from the Beaverton location five months ago and asked for them to order me a Veteran's license plate. At first, the sales guy said they could do that, but when I got there with my documents, he said I would need to get the regular plate (which costs over $400) first and go to the DMV later to get a veteran's plate (which only costs about $100). I called the DMV right after, and they told me no, to go back to the dealer and make them order the veteran's plate. So I did that. I was told I would be refunded the extra cost for the regular plate. That has never happened. I have also never received a license plate. Every time I call the DMV, they tell me the dealership has not paid the ~$100 for the plate. I have been calling every week for 2 months now, and I get transferred around, sent to voicemail, talk to people who know nothing and can do nothing. The lack of post-sales responsiveness from the dealership is alarming and should cause people to reconsider doing business here. read more

I contacted this dealership yesterday afternoon regarding an Audit Q5 advertised on their site and was told it was available for purchase and then began the process of negotiating with the salesman. Our last communication with him was prior to their 7pm closing that day but he did not reply that night. The next morning we were contacted via email to discover the original salesman had been let go. The person answering his email gave us no indication of a problem and we indicated we would still like to pursue the purchase were they able to meet our counter offer on our trade. At no time were we offered to make a hold deposit on the vehicle and made the assumption all was still going forward as we had decided to purchase the vehicle regardless. So, our intention was to drive from Boise to Beaverton today to close the deal when the salesman got back to us again via email and said it had been sold while we were in good faith dealing on it. We feel that they sold the car we wanted and would have happily made a hold deposit on if asked at any point in the transaction. This is bad business on the worst level and the salesman and sales manager were of no help or consolation,I would highly recommend dealing with any dealership the has business scruples but would absolutely NOT consider dealing with THIS dealership on any level based on how this deal turned out. I engaged with their Internet sales department online. No one ever called me 10 seconds after I hit submit, and then kept calling me every day to find out if I was ready to buy. It was all handled online. My questions were answered quickly. The communication level could be described as "over communication," but in a positive way. Every step of the way are my questions answered, do I need anything else. Not pushy, helpful. I put a deposit on the car to hold it so I could get down, over the phone. Arranged my payment if I decided to buy, and contacted my insurance company. From arriving at dealer, test drive, paperwork, done - about 75 minutes. No pressure, no funny business, no push to buy add ons or items I didn't need. No running my credit because the finance department is going to try to strong arm me into a loan I don't want or need. The Internet sales department is fantastic and Shane was very professional. By far the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. After reviewing inventory online, we had inquired on one of their vehicles. Our inquiry was answered by David, he was responsive and transparent. We agreed to come-in and see the vehicle in-person. When we arrived, David greeted us, but had another customer show-up early so he paired us up with Zara. Zara was great. She took us on our test-drive, while their buyer was appraising our trade. She was informative, great with our kiddo, and just a no-pressure feeling. Upon returning from our test-drive, we had an offer in-hand, including our trade value within minutes. No games, no back and fourth. My partner and I had agreed on what we wanted before we arrived. Their initial offer was incredibly fair, my partner and I looked at each other and said done. There was no negotiation; I've never not had to negotiate my trade up, or negotiate the purchase price down. My partner and I were sort-of shocked. Not only was the offer great, they had thrown in an Audi incentive for being a cash deal. David came around and congratulated us on our new car. We signed our paperwork, moved our belongings, and were on our way. Our bank isn't open on weekends, so the following day we got a certified check from our bank and went back to the dealership to drop-off the check and the second set of keys for our trade that we had forgot. Zara greeted us with a miniature Audi toy version of the car we purchased for our kiddo. It was green, Zara had remembered our kiddo liked the green car on their showroom room. She didn't have to do that, but she did. Appreciate this gesture since I'm often too busy at work to take a call in the middle of the day. I mentioned I was in the market for a new car. Larry took the time out of his day to walk me through some of the newer body styles.
