I gave my etron Q4 for AC malfunction repair. No ETA on when it will get done, and no loaner was given. It's been more than 3 weeks. And I am spending $$ on cabs. They don't answer/return calls when I call to enquire. If only I could give 0 on the rating, I would have. I had numerous AC issues in last 1-2 years and they take forever to fix it, and they don't fix it properly. read more

ZERO STARS. If Google allowed it, that is exactly what Audi Gilbert and Audi Gilbert Service would receive from me. Approximately a year and a half ago, I walked into Audi Gilbert and was told I was buying the best car I would ever own. I was told it would be more expensive, but the quality, reliability, and service would make it worth every penny. My salesperson was amazing. The sales manager who helped make the deal happen was amazing. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ended. The finance experience was awful. Despite my salesperson knowing exactly where my payment needed to be, the finance manager attempted to add multiple extra products, charges, and expenses that pushed the payment beyond what had already been discussed. I still drove away believing I had made one of the best purchases of my life. Little did I know, buying this Audi would become one of the worst financial decisions I have ever made. After approximately six months, it became one problem after another. A computer chip is loose. A sensor is malfunctioning. Something else is loose. Another warning light comes on. There is ALWAYS something wrong with this car. I did not pay a premium price for a supposedly premium vehicle expecting to constantly wonder what warning light would come on next or how many thousands of dollars the next repair might cost. Then there is the service experience. My service advisor, Mike, rarely returns my calls. When I do speak with him, I am repeatedly made to feel like an inconvenience. He knows I am a single mom and cannot immediately afford every expensive recommendation thrown at me, yet nearly every conversation begins with some version of: "Brooke, I have bad news." "It probably will not be covered under warranty." "This could cost thousands of dollars." "You must have done something." Before the vehicle has even been properly inspected, I am repeatedly prepared for a bill in the thousands and made to feel as though whatever is wrong must somehow be my fault. Yet time after time, once the actual technicians inspect the vehicle, guess what? It turns out to be a mechanical issue. Now, after the recent dust storm, I got into my car and discovered that my window will not roll up or down. I called Audi Gilbert Service and received the same response I have come to expect. It is supposedly not covered under warranty. It is supposedly not covered by insurance. And once again, I am being warned that it could cost thousands of dollars. At this point, I genuinely regret buying an Audi. I was sold the idea that paying more meant purchasing quality, reliability, luxury, and exceptional service. Instead, I purchased a vehicle that has had repeated issues, warning lights, loose components, expensive repair threats, and a service experience that consistently makes me feel blamed before anyone even determines what is actually wrong. My recommendations are simple: Do not buy an Audi because the "premium ownership experience" I was promised has been anything but premium. Do not purchase a vehicle from Audi Gilbert. And if you already own an Audi, I would drive somewhere else before trusting Audi Gilbert Service with your vehicle or your money. I will never purchase another Audi, and I will never recommend Audi Gilbert to anyone. The car may have four rings on the front, but my experience deserves ZERO stars. read more

Avoid this place. They're friendly only when they're trying to make a sale. My sister's brand‑new Audi had a broken wireless charger and electrical issues so they gave us another Audi to use and took our license and insurance. That loaner had a chip in the window, and Audi ended up charging our insurance for it. I have no idea whether the damage was already there, but they didn't care. Now they blame it on a "com box," yet refused to cover it under warranty and tried to charge me $1,800 for something I've reported for years. The service manager, Chad, pretended to listen but wasn't helpful, and Scott in service was completely disrespectful. They kept my car for over a week, disconnecting the battery and "testing" with no real solution -- then offered me just 20% off the repair as a joke. Neither Audi corporate nor this dealership takes accountability. I've been a loyal Audi customer, always maintained my car, never missed a payment -- but after this, never again. These fools charged my spouse over $200 for a synthetic oil change on her Audi Quattro. They charged her around $14 for "shop supplies" for an oil change? They charged her $15 for a new oil plug. Dudes? One does NOT NEED A NEW OIL PLUG for an auto with ~9K miles on it. I'd wager it was not ever replaced, because who in the what ever goes under their car to look at an oil plug? This is a travesty. Mike's ASE in Apache Junction would have charged less than $70 for this service? ~$50 for the synthetic oil, and ~$20 for the labor. And they would have made all of the checks the tools at Audi Gilbert performed for an extraordinarily inflated price. Yelp pulled down a similar post of mine today complaining about these same people. If this post gets whacked, well, then you know what to think of Yelp? Look at their YELP rating. I am a big Audi fan ever since I got my Q5 it has been really hard to even consider a change. I have had to come back here a few times due to service issues but the folks at Audi Gilbert have been kind and helpful to me. I am at the cusp of deciding if I move to another model or just current year of the same but I am still attached to my Q5 which is awesome in my opinion. The service department here is always very helpful and kind but I do hope they can fix a repeated issue I have had other than that I don't have any concerns. I love my Audi and my experience at Audi Gilbert has always been positive. A walk through the showroom is always very tempting. Purchased the Q7 new and it's been back in the shop for software malfunctions three times for warranty repairs. The last time the Audi dealer had the car for 2 weeks (they did provide a loaner). While in the shop the dealer also did the vehicle inspection that was due (they sent me a video of the inspection) however they did not reset the vehicle software to turn off the "inspection due" notice. When I asked why this wasn't reset I was told they charge $210 to reset the software. This reset can only be done by an Audi dealer and you would think when they have the car for 2 weeks and perform the inspection they would have done that as part of the service. read more

Figured out I could walk a lot alone saying i'm looking for parts. I walk out a side door and cruise the lot uninterrupted. After finding the one I came to see. I walked into the showroom and approached Orlando and started a casual conversation. At no point did he try to direct me or lead me. We spoke a bit and I started asking my questions. He answered all. After a bit I felt like I was talking to an old high school buddy. I informed him I've been driving my car for ten years for fear of dealing with a dealership. He understood and asked if there was anything he could assist me with. I shared the car I was looking at. He got the keys and I drove it. He suggested streets. By the time we returned I Knew I wanted it. Asked if I had questions. I said I would think about it and left. He gave me his info and I left. Returned several days later. Drove it and bought it. I made an online service appointment for my A5 Sportback, to include a loaner vehicle. A few hours later I received a call back from Scott Pfannenstiel that the service appointment would need to be pushed back a week and that no loaner would be made available. He did say I was welcome to wait for the vehicle to be serviced, which typically only takes a few hours. I don't know any "luxury" vehicle owners that don't have better things to do than sit around a service department and wait for their vehicle to be serviced. I have owned multiple Audi cars for over 10 years. I have never been denied a loaner vehicle when I took my vehicles in for service. I bought this car from the Gilbert dealership, but will be looking elsewhere for any future purchases or for service. The business response below is incorrect in every way. I was contacted to reschedule because there was a scheduling conflict. I was also told I would NOT get a loaner at the rescheduled service. The fact that management response is so far off from what actually occurred just underscores the poor service from this dealership. read more

Was the store busy at delivery? No, there was one other sales prospect at that time. Was the store fully staffed during delivery? I don't know, it shouldn't be my concern. But I do know that I won't return for service, return for my next purchase, or refer anyone that I like to this dealership. $50K vehicles are commodities, so it comes down to the customer experience provided. On 7/31/2021 from around 10 am PST, my boyfriend was negotiating 2021 Audi Q7 purchase from Ahamed Barakath, on of the Sales people there, I was going to purchase that car. We secured a price of around $66K and Ahamed was requesting me to complete a credit application. At around 1.30 PST I received an email from Ahamed with a link and completed a credit application (providing my SS, DL, etc) information as we led to believe the car would be ours upon the application. During the entire process the 3 of us were talking over group text chat. When by 6.30 pm PST we did not hear from Ahmed, upon multiple attempts to reach out, Ahamed told us that someone came in and put a deposit on the car and the car is no longer available ( I personally thing it is BS) But even someone did come in, Ahamed took a deposit on a car for which I already submitted my credit application for. At around 7 pm PST, we called the dealership directly and spoke to a very rude sales manager named Trevor and expressed our dissatisfaction with Ahamed's deceitful practices. Trevor was the rudest person, not apologetic what so ever, did not try to make things rights. I requested to delete my Personal Information from their databases, and Trevor said that they have to hold on to it for 2 years. I indicated that my information was taken under false pretenses, I was not going to buy a car from them after all of this and they did not yet run my credit (so they said), so there is no business reason to hold on to my personal information. He refused to even look into it. Trevor also refused to provide name of the dealership's General Manager and the General Counsel. These people are the most rudest sales people with no concept of privacy laws or information security handling standards. Gilbert Audi Dealship will be hearing from Arizona Attorney General very soon and a various Consumer protection Agencies. read more

WORST. ILLEGAL. FRAUDULENT. Read all. Took my 2022 SQ5 into Audi for a recall/20k service that was said to take a few hours. Made an APPOINTMENT for 9:30am. *** Service didn't start until 12:30pm. At 3:04pm I receive a text - hey we are almost done with you car. 3:37pm- sorry we can not complete the work and will need your car till Monday (this was a Friday- also St Patrick's Day so I guess everyone was ready for happy hour.) Responded that I would need a loaner. Told me they had one just returned and would get it ready for me. 5:15pm - pick up loaner car along with belongings from my car since they need it for FOUR days. Ask the staff why a this is taking so long. Well they just don't have the staff. Go figure. Get a text from Audi at 11:45am Monday that my car is ready. Mind you, the app said it was done before 10am. Show up to return car and the service agent does a walk around and QUICKLY says, we need to file an insurance claim. It was for a CHIP the size of an pencil eraser head on the windshield by the wiper. NO WAY. I drove 16 miles in the loaner on surface streets to my house and back. There was NO WAY I had a rock hit the car that hard. I told him that is a fraud and I will not claim that against my insurance. I ask for MY car keys and the service agent refuses to return my keys. I tell him that i will call the police. Does Audi trap their customers?? Threaten females?? He then grabs my keys and disappears to get a manager. Upon returning 120 seconds later they claim they have located a video of a "walk around" from Friday. Wow. That's an incredible speed to find and review a video unless it was a LIE or a SETUP. Sorry, no one walks around and look for minor chips in a windshield- at wiper level no less. I'm looking for REAL damage. I pointed out to the manager that there were actually TWO chips. So where did the other one come from? He said, well we don't know that. THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS, you made my point. I ended up having to literally grab my keys from them to be able to leave the dealership. They told me they were going to replace the windshield and sue me!!!! Oh, and not to come back to their dealership!! NO PROBLEM. About an hour later USAA calls me to tell me Audi Gilbert has filed a FRAUDULENT ILLEGAL claim on my insurance. I am so blown away by this service. I felt ambushed and totally set up. Maybe because I'm not a white male like the rest of them?? Or maybe my military insurance offended them?? Thankfully USAA fights to protect their military clients!! Do not trust these people!! Do not go here if you are not white!! These people are corrupt and do not reflect the Audi brand. This is three years worth of bull before I finally wrote a review. First, when I tried purchasing my Q8 they had absolutely no interest in helping me find the one that I wanted. So, they lost the original sale there on a brand new Q8. Then, my brakes squealed like crazy. I brought it in and they said they are ceramic brakes, etc. and to just deal with it. Brought the car in again and they said the same thing about the breaks. 2.5 years goes by of me literally embarrassed every time I back out of my driveway ON A BRAND NEW ALMOST 100K CAR. Then, one day, I'm speaking with my neighbor who just bought a USED Q5 and said her brakes did the same so she brought it in and they replaced them at no charge and it fixed it. I was LIVID. So, I called them and explained the situation and they finally agreed to look for a third time. The lady called me trying to charge me for it but I said I have it documented that I have been complaining since the day I bought this car. She then agreed to replace them and they haven't squeaked since. My lease was coming up and I decided to purchase the vehicle. I brought it to them and they made up a number that was more than what I owed and wanted to charge me all of these unnecessary fees for docs, etc. it was almost 4k more. I decided to go to Audi Scottsdale and they allowed me to purchase my car for the exact amount I was quoted from Audi financial and with no doc fees, etc. in fact, I was given a $16 REFUND for my title. Audi Gilbert just wants to screw anyone and everyone over for every penny they can. No customer service and they were fine with people just walking out the door over a couple of thousand that they erroneously tried to charge. Don't use them. Just go to Audi Scottsdale. They actually have good customer service and want to sell cars and take care of their customers. read more

I've decided on a new Audi for my next purchase but it certainly won't be from Gilbert. Having done all my research online I knew that I wanted an Etron. All someone had to do was GREET ME and write a sales contract. I knew I would pay over list, I knew I would have to wait for it to arrive, I knew I couldn't be picky with colours & options. What I didn't know that no one would want my business. Salesman sat at his desk staring at his computer, the receptionist tapped away on her phone-no one even addressed the fact that I had arrived. Not another customer in the place (if they were busy I would still expect a greeting), but NOT one other retail customer in the place.
