When it came time for an upgrade I came to Walter's and they gave me a great trade in value for my old A5 and I drove off in a new A5, with my new monthly payments being nearly the same as before. Service department oil change takes at least 3 hours with a appointment. Then they forgot to ask if I wanted my oil alert reset. When I got in my car my light was still reading I needed a oil change, went down spoke to my advisor, she said oh I forgot to ask. I had to wait another 20 minutes. I was excited to finally be able to purchase an Audi and stopped into this dealership on my way to the neighboring Lexus dealership. If it wasn't for our sales guy, Todd, I would have walked out. Angel is the rudest excuse of a manger and any attempts to speak to the general manager in regards to his attitude towards me went un-acknowledged. For a luxury car dealership, I would have expected better customer service by at least ensuring the vehicle being purchased, regardless if it is used or new, is in pristine condition. I decided to purchase an A3, which I love, but as I was driving out of the lot, I attempted to adjust my rear-view mirror and it fell off the windshield. I returned to the dealership immediately, and my sales guy was busy with another customer. So I went to Angel to inform him of the situation and his comment was " maybe you used to much force to adjust the mirror." I was speechless, I didn't received an apology nor did he actually take the time to come and inspect the mirror. He opted to he send another sales guy to look at the mirror, who was reluctant to take the time to look at the mirror. At this time, Todd Bellis came to my rescue and was apologetic and attempting to provide service recovery when Angel, a manager, failed to do so. I unfortunately couldn't take my car home that day but I did, at least, get a new windshield and a new mirror. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone due to the fact that Angel is still employed there, regardless of the multiple bad Yelp reviews he ha had. Horrible experience. Angel the internet sales or finance guy is beyond lazy and when you see him you'll immediately see. He made my experience so disappointing as he had judged and discriminated the moment he saw me. I came in for the lease special and had been pre qualified by phone before walking in. I was told to meet him there. He was so dismissive the moment he saw me. Maybe I don't look like I should drive an Audi since he immediately asked me if I had the down payment for the special. He was so uninterested in helping me. I can't believe it. Still hopeful I asked for white or black vehicle per deal 3.0 Quattro. He immediately gave me the green sales guy and ignored what I said even though it was the current deal on site. He took my phone and reviewed the deal and even the sales guy told him, I was correct. He didn't care! Told the sales guy Mike and I that he was not giving that car because they cost more than the one they are willing to let go for special. The special has NO specific A6 attached to it. I asked about the same deal for Q7 he did the same thing. NEVER once getting up from his desk, never ONCE smiling and making the experience warm and inviting.! He CLEARLY didn't want to help me! I walked away as the deal said 3.0 not 2.0 and it didn't say there was a cap on cost of car. What a scam. What a waste. A buddy of mine invited me out to go test drive cars on the night of 7/7/2017, as he is in the market to make a new purchase. Interested in a few of the models Audi offers, we decided to stop in. We were greeted by Hector Lopez immediately upon entering the business. Hector was very polite and courteous, allowing us to look around and direct any questions we may have to him. After we researched the A4 we ended up at Walter's Audi even though we do not live in Riverside. The car we selected was an 2018 A4, with just over 8K miles on it. We negotiated the price and thought the deal was a fair one. Then, it was impossible to connect the garage door opener to our new car. They admitted this was a manufacturer's defect but could not solve the issue after bringing the car back in. We were persistent, emailed and called the Audi Corporate offices and finally got a person who solved the problem. (FYI-you have to hold the remote control behind and outside the car to activate the system). This took about a month! So we started visiting the Temecula Audi dealership to learn about some the the systems in the car. They were fantastic! One day they asked me for my key fob with a secret code on it. I said "what"? It turns out that it was issued to the car but never given to us. So we asked Walter's about this and they said we had to buy the code again. In conclusion, after buying our car there they washed their hands of us. We are grateful that the Temecula Audi dealership is full of friendly and well-meaning staff. I had called to set up an appointment and they had quoted me $129.99 for an oil change. I also mentioned that I had read about a defect in the MMI system where it would create a loud popping noise. The solution is just a software fix for the unit. I asked the guy on the phone about it and he said it doesn't cost for something like that. So I set the appointment and go in to get it done. I am expecting to pay $129.99 and go through the process but right at the end when he is about to have me sign, I see the total of $320 on the estimate. I was upset at this and had been hoodwinked by this dealer. I told them I was not going to be able to pay that much and drove all the way down here expecting the price I was quoted on the phone. They wouldn't work with me so I left. I will do the oil change myself for $50 if they are going to try to weasel money out of people. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. The service manager David is extremely shady as I have dealt with him in the past. Stacy is a nice gal and if you have to go here I would ask for her. If you can do service yourself buy the official Audi parts and do it yourself. If you can't then find a good Audi mechanic to do it for you. In response to David, the service manager: I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my poor experience at your location. I must say that I continue to be disheartened by this situation. You would think that a manager, being aware that a consumer was misquoted a price and had driven completely out of his way to get that price, would do more than offer a price that is still 173% higher than the price he was quoted. It may sound nice for you to say a word like "half off"when someone reading this review doesn't know that you are offering half price off a small portion of the total cost. I am a manager of an alternate retail organization and if a consumer was misquoted a price over the phone that had brought them to my organization, I would honor that price and make sure no more consumers are misquoted. That is how a situation as this should be handled. Otherwise it would be in the best interest of companies to tell consumers that many items are free and then proceed to hoodwink them when they come in and tell them they must pay $50 for that same item. I only wished for my car stereo system to have the defect that had been verified in the Audi tech books to be patched. This is a known defect in which the stereo makes and extremely loud popping sound at random and hurts the ears of all those in the car. It is unfortunate that you not only misquote the price for an issue like this, but then can still not rectify a known defect. I rarely have an issue with places but when a company tries to bait and switch a person, I feel everyone should know. The trust of your organization is extremely questionable and I will never return here. My family, in which all drive Audis, will also do the same. I only continue to update this review to help warn the public of this indiscretion. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. Find your own Audi mechanic, do it yourself, or if you have to, go to Penske Audi in West Covina. read more

As a business operator and owner, I have always been a strict advocate of not criticizing a business publicly but resolving issues with management face to face. Many times, complaints are unsubstantiated and of course always have two sides. My experience today with Walters Audi in Riverside CA is unacceptable in every form, and is substantial enough I feel compelled to share it with you. My partner and I leased a brand new 2018 TTRS from Walters about a year ago. Since taking delivery it has spent several days at Walters service department. The main issue has surrounded excessive oil consumption which Walters and Audi after several tests acknowledges is a problem and out of specifications---the engine consumes almost two quarts of oil every 1,000 miles. In addition to having oil consumption issues, we have had to have two brake/tail lights replaced as one stopped working within 2000 miles of leasing the car, the replacement sent was also defective, so the vehicle was at Walters for two weeks just for this issue. This last week I drove the vehicle at night and noticed the interior lights on the passenger side have stopped working. My partner made an appointment with Walters Audi Service department for this morning. I took the car in at 9AM and waited approximately 30 minutes before anyone was able to assist me. I was contacted by Stacey and told her I needed to speak with Alex--our regular service advisor. Stacey told me she would gather my information and then I could wait for Alex. She continued to ask me questions about why I was bringing in the car and I politely told her I could not speak with her any further and needed to speak with Alex. This is because my partners previous experience with Stacey was unsatisfactory on other visits. I had a seat and watched Stacey go into the Service Managers office. After what appeared to be a brief discussion, Stacey came out of his office and told me I would need to take my car somewhere else to be repaired. I asked her why, and she said I needed to leave and go somewhere else for any concerns with my vehicle. I want to emphasize that an no time was I ever rude or unprofessional during my visit. I was perplexed as to why I was being told the Audi dealer in which we leased the vehicle from, and had such a history with, was telling me they would not help us. I told Stacey I needed to speak with a senior manager and she walked me over to the Service Managers Office, David Butler. I asked David what was going on. He said it was clear to him that Walters could not satisfy our needs in regards to the vehicles issues and we would need to take the car somewhere else. Keeping control of my frustration from that point I said ok and left the dealership without incident. Shortly after leaving the dealer I became more frustrated of what had occurred, and had even relayed this to my partner who was equally if not more perplexed then I was on what just occurred. Why were we given an appointment just to be turned around after waiting for 30 minutes to be assisted? Something did not add up, it seemed the moment when I told Stacey I was not going to deal with her and only Alex, which was when everything changed. I returned back to Walters and walked into David's office and asked him these same questions. He said the decision to no longer provide us service was made several weeks ago when it was determined we had a defective engine. I asked him why he didn't notify us of this decision when we made the appointment. He said he could not monitor everyone that made an appointment or notify his staff on who would be rejected upon arrival. I asked why he did not contact us directly when he made the decision weeks back, he had no answer. I told him I suspected this was something personal with Stacey that occurred this morning and he just had a blank face. I know I have gone to a great length to outline this encounter, but I want the reader to know how asinine this dealership is and its management. To spend the amount of money we have on a defective car, the time it has taken back and forth and to now be told they will no longer honor the new car warranty is extremely unprofessional, constitutes breach of contract and is something no customer should need to experience. I was told by David that our recent negative review of Audi on social media in regards to our engine issues was to blame for us being turned away. I hope anyone considering an Audi will look at this experience objectively and specifically the actions of Walters and seriously consider not doing business with them. My only goal here now is to warn others and for there to be a consequence for Walters actions. read more

From the moment I drove in and got greeted by one of the gentlemen (didn't get his name) who was extremely professional and through my experience with Brett McKinley (sales) & Rob Little (finance), they were truly professional. I went in to look at a Florett Silver A5 S-Line with Nougat Brown interior, a specific color theme I was looking for. Brett was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant to work with, professional and helpful throughout. On to finance next where Rob Little was very straight forward, detail oriented and just as professional. Ended up making the numbers make sense to me which allowed me to then gladly add Audi Care Plus. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new Audi. I am not familiar with their service department as I have only used Circle Audi (Which are great as well) for service on my previous Audi, but will definitely give Walter's service department a chance.
