I only gave one star because I can not give a zero or negative stars. If you need your car worked on or need just a basic tune up and you are outside of warranty, RUN FOR THE HILLS! I seriously do not know how these people sleep at night. My car went in for a basic repair, three weeks out of warranty. Surprise surprise I was told it would cost ... Ready for this.. 6,527.40!!! Of course I didn't believe them. I got a second quote for the exact same work and factory parts... 3,243.00. These people are crooks ! Run away from this place. Save yourself ! I was roped in for 847.00+ tax because they fixed what they "thought" was the problem. But no. It didn't fix it. I got back my still broken car, was out 847+tax and took it to REAL mechanic that fixed it no problem, at a FAIR price. read more

I can't say enough good things about Mike Tennell. No joke, I don't think he even cares about selling cars, he's all about building personal relationships. i originally come down with a price assumption and then the sales guys make som e mistake and end up costing the price to go a bit higher. A complain via yelp make the savvy General Manager aware of the problem and he have reach out to me to fix the problem. Ed/Dana and they honor the deal and we work something out that is reasonable to both party. this time it was no hassle and work very professionally. The good people to work with are: Dana (sales mgr), Andy (sales person, new, but very nice guy), and Andy (the Finance guy). after they set me up the deal as promised originally (at least close enough), they still give me a gift certificate to their shop to pick up something later. they give me a new tank of gas, detail the car, and i am now driving up the car to norcal. Bought a new Audi Q7 from this dealer 5/19/17 . I am 55 years old and a professional in my field and felt like it was time for my first luxury vehicle. I did my homework and knew I wanted a luxury SUV. My choices came down to Audi, Volvo + BMW. I choose the Audi Q7 2.0 Premium Plus Package. Seemed like a wonderful car.....fast forward to 3/11/20 without any warning the engine blows a rod through the engine block. The car has 85,375 miles on it and has been properly serviced on oil changes (every 10,000 miles). I go out of my way to take care of my vehicles with proper maintenance. I take it to nearest Audi dealership (Ontario) for repair / answers on why this happened. They suggest it be turned over to Audi (Corp.) for a claim. I also called Audi (Riverside) and the man that sold me the car (Dan) was no longer there, but once they heard I had started a claim with Audi (Corp.) they said there was not much more they could do for me. Audi (Ontario) offered me 20% off what is now going to be an engine replacement. My talks with Audi (Corp.) was insulting to me.....absolutely no help. They went through the motions of taking a report, but at the end of the day did absolutely nothing to stand behind their name on what has to be a wrong situation for this to happen. When I asked why they would not do more or stand behind what feels so wrong to me they said it was because I had my service (oil changes) done at my own mechanic and warranty on the car stopped at 50,000 miles. I understood the warranty at 50,000, but to have a violent engine blow without warning at 85,375 miles made no sense to me. My mechanic is certified and licensed with 35 years experience and used the Audi recommended oil. The Audi (Corp.) Rep Sean comes off as wanting to help, but in my opinion he gathered information to work it against you......beware. This infuriated me, but what choice did I have but to get the repair done. Audi did the repair at a cost to me of $11,903.82 this is not right as I still owe over 3 years in payments on this purchase and they could not give me a reason at the service department on why this happened. Consumer beware if you have choices on your luxury SUV purchase don't let it be Audi if you expect support from them on an injustice. In hind sight, I wish I had chosen Volvo. read more

I changed my battery on my wife's 2009 Audi A-4 myself and then realized that my alarm/remote and trunk lock would not function. The same thing happened to one of my friend's BMW and he took it in and they reset the alarm at no charge. I called my Walter's Audi and they placed me on hold for some time. After finally getting back on with me, they stated they charged $140.00. I laughed and said, "no thanks." I called Audi Mission Viejo and spoke w Craig. He gave me step by step instruction over the phone in a 3 minute conversation. I reset my alarm myself and saved $140. The point of this is that I will give all my future business, and tell friends, and friends will tell their friends, and Audi Mission Viejo has earned my business. I know Walter's Audi has a business to run and their business is to make money but sometimes when you don't see the big picture, $140 can be thousands of dollars in future revenue and referals that could have gone their way! What a loss for Walter's Audi. I will never ever purchase, lease, or recommend anyone to their dealership again! I purchased my Audi A-5, wife's A-4, and my brother in law bought an A-4 station wagon from them. Never again! read more

I keep up the maintenance on my Audi's and every other car I have owned up to date and make sure anything needed is taken care of. I keep on taking my car to Walter's for service. This was my 45K service of a 2013 Audi I have owned since it had 1750 miles. Service, hospitality by Staci, who I consider a friend after all my previous visits, are excellent. Very disappointed in technicians at Walter's Audi in Riverside don't come here if you need your key or anything programmed they will charge you $169 per hour and after spending the whole day at Walter's Audi dealership at the end tell you they can't program your car I called a locksmith that spoke broken English and he was able to program it in 30 minuets for a fraction of what Walter's audi was charging me approximately $1,400 to be exact only to have my car towed because there top technicians couldn't program a 2007 Audi A4 i called this lock Smith did it for 150 what there expert technicians couldn't do how embarrassing do your research or be ready to get ripped off by these people at Walter's Audi. One of the managers Stacey Smanuel asked me to send her my receipt for the locksmith to fix my car. I'm guessing to reimburse me let's see if she handles this in a professional matter And not have me waiting the whole day at the dealership like last time. read more

My husband and I were lucky enough to find the Chevy Tahoe we were looking for at Walter's Audi. After looking for months for a very specific SUV we found the perfect vehicle for us and our baby that is on the way. First we called the phone number attached to the ad we found online and spoke with a very friendly lady that was able to give us some more specific information on the vehicle. She let us know it was still available, so we decided to take a drive over to the dealer. We were greeted right away by Syed and we let him know we wanted to see the 2013 Chevy Tahoe. My wife knew exactly what Audi she wanted and asked me to lease an A4 within a week's time. I spoke to Brett Mckinley who was great. He was knowledgeable, reasonable and accommodating without exerting undue pressure. Brett was the prefect Audi representative. Best of all, there were no "game playing" or wasting of anyone's time (his or ours) and he still offered the best deal out of 3 dealerships. Unfortunately Walter's did not have the exact car we wanted in their current stock and my wife needed the car immediately so we had to lease elsewhere. In any event, had not been for the time constraints we would have definitely leased/purchased from Walters. If you know exactly what you want (or even if you don't) and want to forgo all the "games" then seek out Brett Mckinley at Riverside Walter's Audi and you'll probably feel as I do. What a way to spend a 'President's Day.' I called four days in advance to make an apt. so I could get my Audi A4 Cabriolet convertible in for inspection. Was given an apt. for 9 am and was told shuttle service would be made available. I arrive 10 minutes early, only to be told I was not on the roster. Ouch-way to make your regular customers feel welcome! I asked for a shuttle, because I live 35 minutes away, and I was hoping to get dropped off at nearby Tyler mall to get breakfast with wife and enjoy the weekend. When you are self employed, you have to make the most out of your 'days off!' About 50 minutes into waiting, I figure the 'complimentary' shuttle service is a 'no-go,' and so I ask my representative how much longer until completion. He tells me 'less than 30 minutes.' It is not my intention to use names here to embarrass employees, so he shall remain nameless. Anyways, that 30 minutes turned into another 75 minutes, I had to really complain to the manager about this. Now I will say that I really appreciated the way the manager handled this. He held an 'instant meeting,' in his office, with me, himself, the representative and the other gentleman who told me that he couldn't find me on the roster. My complaint was feeling like no one was paying attention here, and when you expect to drop off your car and be shuttled across town so you can eat, and instead wind up spending approximately 3 HOURS in a waiting room filled with wall-to -wall customers, someone isn't doing their job. After a round of sincere apologies, the Manager saying over and over again that this was 'UNACCEPTABLE,' and a free oil change, I was allowed to leave, was told that I should come back soon and spend $430 to have my left motor mount replaced! Well, I guess after almost 48,000 miles something is bound to need replacing. So I left at that point WITH A SPLITTING HUNGER HEADACHE AND A MORE THAN IRATE SPOUSE. It's Off to the mall to get us some LUNCH!!! So why should I rate these guys with 1 star? I mean, after all I did receive a free $70 dollar oil change and inspection, (oh and a free car wash) in exchange for my being inconvenienced for 3 hours. Stay tuned, cause here is the part that resulted in my review. It's winter, but where else but in Southern California will the temperature reach 90 degrees? So I push the AC button, and put on a CD. Hmmm, something isn't right here....is is the music? No. Is it the smell of a clean car? No. Is is GERD? No. It's the temperature in my car rising to match that of the outside. That's weird...the AC worked before I brought it it for service. So I need food and I need shade (but so far I don't need marriage counseling). After lunch, I call the manager. He apologized and says that the AC inspection IS part of what they looked at, and told me it was....(wait for it) UNACCEPTABLE, and I should bring it back to have it re-connected. So I did- and they did-... and so now I ask myself the question....do I ever want to go through this again....Would you? read more
