Went for an oil change. $179 for an oil change (synthetic), car wash, and free loaner car is highly competitive! The one thing that was disappointing, though, was that the tech reset my tire pressure to 30/28 PSI (front/back), stating this was the Audi recommended pressure, while the recommended pressure is actually 35 PSI front/back. I don't expect a tech the remember the tire pressures for all Audi models, but all it takes is a glance at the sticker when opening the driver's door if you don't know. That shouldn't be happening at a dealership. Yikes! And when I provided this feedback to the service adviser post the visit, I never heard back. Audi San Jose ruined my credit over a $695 tail light and violated fair credit reporting laws This review is about my 2022 Audi lease return and the fallout caused by Audi San Jose. For context: I've been a loyal Audi customer for over 15 years. I've bought four cars from this dealership for hundreds of thousands of dollars and have personally recommended them to at least 10 friends. That's how much trust I had in them. When I returned my 2022 Audi, the dealership told me to cancel the independent lease inspection that I had previously scheduled and bring the car directly to them because they would "handle everything" on the same day. I was at the dealership signing and driving away in my new 2024 Audi e-tron GT, believing--based on what they told me--that the lease return was fully taken care of. Seven months later, out of nowhere, Audi Financial claimed there was a problem with the lease return: a $695 charge for a cracked tail light -- something they told me would be handled and disclosed on the same day. Audi never contacted me during those seven months. No notice. No discussion. No attempt to resolve anything before it escalated. I immediately disputed the charge in writing through the proper channels with documentation. Despite that, the charge was pushed through anyway and reported in a way that wrecked my credit. Since then, I have spent months--now over a year--trying to get this resolved. All I am asking is that Audi Financial properly report the facts back to the credit bureaus. They have refused to do so. The impact: my credit score went from ~820 to ~590 over this single $695 issue -- a problem that exists only because I followed Audi San Jose's instructions and trusted them to handle the return properly. To make matters worse, Audi San Jose has never acknowledged that they told me to cancel the inspection in the first place, even though that instruction is what put me in this position. Based on how this was handled -- reporting a disputed charge, ignoring the dispute, refusing to correct the reporting, and causing massive credit damage without any meaningful attempt to resolve it -- Audi violated fair credit reporting laws and basic consumer protection standards and I will be pursuing this further with consumer protection organizations. This wasn't a minor inconvenience. Based on what I was told by the sales staff, I felt pressured to move forward with the purchase because they indicated the vehicle would qualify for the credit. With that, you can compare it the information that they are providing you and can better tell if they're overselling it.** For what this is worth, I will give this place a 4 star overall. We came to this dealership today with the intention of just crunching numbers again. My car choice changed and final decision was a hybrid Audi. Experience was a fair pass. Car Inquiry and Purchase: All New 2025 Audi Q5 TFSI Quattro For an SUV, the Q5 is the only hybrid option. If you want 100% hybrid car, I might recommend the Audi Q5 PHEV. This one is their plug-in hybrid versus the MHEV (my purchase), which is only a mild hybrid car. It has a battery and has functions to be more fuel efficient, but the car itself cannot run solely using the battery. What this means is that this car leans more on being a gasoline car than a hybrid car. Is it fuel efficient...ever so slightly more than your average gasoline car with 460 mpg for a full tank. Is it hybrid fuel efficient...no, absolutely not. With the current gas prices, it's around $90 for a full tank. The whole time I was under the impression that my car was 100% a hybrid that is fuel efficient and even asked him why the mpg was so low. The answer mentioned the size of the car and how this would burn more gas, but it still disregarded the fact that this car will not solely run on the battery alone. Perhaps my decision to purchase the car wouldn't have changed, but I just wished I weren't so blind sighted by this fact. Regardless of that though, I genuinely love my purchase. All other aspects of this car are to my liking. Note: As quoted from my previous post Audi dealerships are so interesting in the fact that there are no salespeople outside. You can walk in and make a bunch of rounds to look at the cars and not nary one single person will come outside to greet you or speak to you. This seems to be a common thing at all the Audi dealerships that we have been at though, so not really surprised at all. Perhaps this is a good thing for some people if they prefer to not be bothered while looking at the cars. At the same time, it gives off the impression that they do not care and won't bother with you unless you genuinely show interest and walk inside. I understand that this is a luxury car brand, but just a thought. --------- Bargaining: Ever so slightly better than my interaction from Audi Fremont From the beginning, I mentioned that I had a poor experience at Audi Fremont. I needed to be very clear that I was already well aware of how much this car should cost and highly recommended that they provide me with reasonable numbers because I will jump dealerships again if I need to. Seems to have slightly worked because the first number they provided me was a close enough number to what I had calculated online and the numbers I had in my head. My only concern was the APR that was within the range of 5% to 7%. Currently this is the average APR, but still, that doesn't make anyone feel better. The salesperson still got up and down multiple times, but each time that he came back, the price did slightly get close to the numbers that I was looking at. Waiting time was also not good, but at least they had results. Price: $$$ Audi is a luxury car brand, so to no one's surprise, it is very expensive. A lot of bargaining went into getting this car. My parents are pros at this now and really won't budge unless the numbers are correct, so I ended up getting a fair deal for my car. Discounts, correct prices, packages, etc. were all bargained. The worst part is really the APR, but it's not something that we can really control too much. We were told that we can refinance the car and get a lower APR from other banks after though. Service: Alright Will definitely depend on the salesperson. Our person was alright. He seemed to be really tired of the bargaining at some point...probably more than us because we really will bargain to the very end. One thing I will note is that I wished he were more knowledgeable about the car. There was some information about the car that I didn't know about and discover until I was home, which is not really ideal, but luckily, the internet is a powerful tool these days. Our finance person was honestly the best though and we had a good experience with him. Very cheerful and straightforward with the information provided. Ambiance: Simple and sleek Simple interior with cars displayed on one side and the desks/chairs on the other side. Lovely snack and coffee station even though the items were limited. Location/Parking: Alright It's located right on Stevens Creek Blvd and pretty easy to spot. Other dealerships are around here. What is the feedback. Again the service is excellent and has been for years. Scheduled the first scheduled maintenance service for my 2025 RS3 with the Audi San Jose service center on Winchester Blvd for 8am. At the time of scheduling, I was told it would be done same day. The service itself is a routine oil change and multi point check. Imagine my surprise when I showed up at 8am but was told by the counter rep that the earliest pick up would be the next day but could be as much a week. When I enquired deeper, I was given unconvincing excuses like "we are backed up", "some cars have been waiting for a week", "we have some big jobs running", etc. When I asked why same day return was assured by the scheduling coordinator, the response was "that's what they say". Worse, when I asked if I can reschedule for a later date and be guaranteed same day return, they refused to commit. They said I have to come in for the actual appointment and only then I will be told, and it could be still be a one week return. I had to cancel and book elsewhere. Nothing in the rep's response, facial expression or body language gave any indication that they even cared. I got the message. Incredible experience with Phillip Ramirez in service. I visually noticed low coolant in my e-tron, but no warning light. Even though I didnt have a warning message, Phillip was able to get my car in with no hesitation. Really appreciated that he didnt try and tell me to come back if a warning light came on later on. Car was ready quicker than expected and the tech Sergio sent a super in depth video where he went into detail regarding his inspection. The bottom line: I don't recommend this dealership to purchase your next car. My husband had done his research and knew exactly which model and trim he wanted. He was also pretty sure about the color. We were greeted quickly and my husband said which car he wanted to look at - An Audi Q6 etron Prestige, which is the highest trim. Even though there was a prestige in the same row of cars, they offered a lower end trim for my husband to test drive. Luckily, my husband knew about the differences and had an Audi previously. This lower end trim had different suspension that felt spongy and he wasn't jazzed by it. But he knew the Prestige would be better and was willing to make a deal anyway - for the Prestige. Unfortunately, they didn't have the color he was interested in on the lot. They tried to find a vehicle in the area. We live really close to Stevens Creek, but we had see on the website that Palo Alto had the car he wanted. They said they would try to find it and get back to us. But while saying that, they kept trying to put my husband in a different car...different car, different color, different trim....but he made it clear that is not what he wanted. Also, while we were waiting in the sales office, the computer screen had a notification that came up letting whoever worked on that computer that they had three messages from Men's Singles waiting for them. Funny, but extremely unprofessional. Basically, I felt like we were trying to sell my husband on a vehicle that he didn't want and were not being listened to or valued. They were supposed to tell the IRS of the sale on the day it happened. They didn't. I had to go into the dealership to get them to rectify it before I submitted my taxes. They handed me the paperwork, but I just now found out they STILL did not tell the IRS. So the IRS thinks I didn't really buy a qualified vehicle and is rejecting the credit. They certainly have spent a LOT of money to make their dealership look nice, and it does. But it is a facade. Their customer care is far below par. Here are some other details, none big, but they all exemplify this lack of attention to detail: My car had low tire pressure warnings when I took ownership of it. I had to inflate them to the proper pressure myself. I needed a few days to get the cash to pay in full. They claimed that getting a loan vs the dealership floating me the money was equivalent. It was not. Even though I paid in full a few days later, I still ended up paying almost $100 in interest The rear-view mirror auto-dimmer never worked. I didn't notice until it was too late, so I ended up being responsible for fixing it. I had to follow up to receive the single page bill of sale that was promised as a part of the sales documentation. However, that was not the experience I had at the Stevens Creek Audi location. Nader was super friendly and knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy at all. He also had a lot of funny stories to share during what would have been a mundane process of purchasing our vehicle. I've been a loyal and happy Audi owner for years and never imagined I'd be writing a review like this. Sadly, my experience with Steven's Creek Audi has been a complete nightmare. A couple of years ago, I noticed my black car's paint was severely fading--starting with the hood and spreading to the driver door. The service department directed me to Audi Care in case there was a recall. They threw the issue back to the dealership and told me to resolve it with them. I tried--multiple times--but received no response from the service department or the GM, Joseph Quinonez. It wasn't until my car was at a body shop (after being rear-ended) that I found out it had been repainted (before) I bought it--without disclosure. Another Audi dealership confirmed this type of paint damage is not normal and should've been caught during inspection. Despite having contacted Audi Care about the issue several months before the accident and thankfully have a case number as proof, the GM told Audi Corporate after several weeks of trying to connect with him, that he would not be reaching out to me and attributed the paint issue to the accident (the complete opposite end of the car)! Audi Corporate tried to help but even they couldn't get the dealership to cooperate. I've left voicemails, sent emails--nothing. I'm filing complaints and moving on from Audi after years of loyalty and looking for a different brand to purchase. Buyer beware. read more

I own a 2023 Audi A4, which I purchased brand new from a dealership in Burlingame. Since this was my first brand-new car purchase, I decided to get the warranty package for maintenance. When I first bought the car, I noticed a blemish on the bumper, which took forever to get fixed. It was frustrating to deal with such a delay on a brand-new vehicle. Later, I took my car to the San Jose service department for routine maintenance and reported that the door was broken. The service agent assured me that everything had been fixed, so I took the car home, only to find that the door issue hadn't been addressed at all. This meant I had to schedule another appointment, which was a hassle in itself. They had promised me a loaner vehicle, so I made the trip back to the dealership, only to wait an hour before they finally admitted they didn't have one available. After wasting my time waiting around, they told me they would call when a loaner was ready. No one called until I reached out myself, at which point they suddenly had a car available. Once I brought my car in, they inspected my tires and immediately told me I needed to replace all four. However, they failed to check the alignment, which should have been a priority. It felt like they were just pushing me to buy new tires rather than doing a thorough inspection. Frustrated, I decided to get a second opinion from another shop, where I was told not only did I need new tires, but my alignment was way off, which was causing excessive wear on the tires. If the dealership had properly checked my car, they would have caught this issue instead of just trying to upsell me on tires. To address my concerns, I called the dealership and asked to speak to the manager, Leslie. I left a message, but later found out it was never passed along to her. When I followed up, I was told she was in a meeting. Eventually, she returned my call, but I wasn't available, so I left her a message. Since then, I haven't heard anything back, making me feel like my concerns are being completely ignored. The level of customer service at this dealership has been nothing short of disappointing. The lack of communication and accountability is frustrating, especially when dealing with a vehicle that is still under warranty. I expected better treatment from a luxury brand like Audi, but instead, I've had to chase down answers and deal with careless service. Fast forward to 2024, I returned to buy another car and found out the person who had helped us with financing, who was kind and welcoming, is now the manager. I believe his approach to customers, being kind, caring, not pushy, trickled down to all the people working under him because we once again had a fantastic experience. We were in the market for the 2025 Audi RSQ8 or SQ8 e-tron and potentially the Audi e-tron GT RS. We went to the Stevens Creek Audi dealership since it's close to our home and were greeted by Zabi. He asked what we were looking for so we gave him the specifics about the two SUVs and also told him that we wanted to test drive them and potentially build our own spec to purchase one. After letting us see the inside of both SUVs we asked to test drive the RSQ8. To our surprise, we were informed that the RSQ8 cannot be test driven unless we are absolutely sure that the specifications on the car they had in the dealership matched our interest. We asked him how he can ask someone to love and buy a car without taking it at least around the parking lot if not on the street. He said his manager will not allow it because it has carbon fiber on the outside. He even awkwardly introduced us to his assistant that he originally mentioned was going to let us test drive the cars we were interested in. We said if we can't test drive it, we wouldn't be making a purchase and that seemed fine to both of them. So we left, feeling fairly embarrassed and belittled by the level of service we just had received. The next day, we went to the Audi dealership in Fremont. We told them what we wanted and if it would be possible to test drive the RSQ8 before we make the final call. Without any hesitation or BS, the Fremont dealership introduced us to their manager and quickly pulled the RSQ8 out of the showroom to take it for a long spin. In addition, they pulled out an e-Tron GT to let us get a feel for (a second, no hassle test drive). After enjoying both we provided a fully loaded spec and put in a deposit for a new RSQ8 order with Fremont dealership for a fully loaded RSQ8. As we thought back to the experience, it's important to note the Stevens Creek Audi dealership lacked knowledge of luxury vehicles, as well as simple sales and customer service skills. They were asking us to make a purchase over $150,000 with blindfolds on. We do not recommend the Stevens Creek Audi dealership to anyone and will definitely refer friends and families to the Audi in Fremont. We were very happy to have given our business to Fremont instead of this place due to their "my way or the highway" attitude. read more

My latest review is for the service center, which is absolutely terrible. For the record, Palo Alto Audi has been our go to for service, and they've been fantastic. Stevens Creek Audi service is complete trash. I realize I'll probably get some sob story about how the dealerships are independent, not truly Audi owned, service / sales are different, etc., but it honestly doesn't matter to me. I think of Audi as a more premium brand, but clearly, there's some mental disconnect at Audi Stevens Creek. Our vehicle tends to burn a little bit of oil over time between servicing. It's very slight, and not even enough to affect emissions. We typically go to Palo Alto Audi to top off our oil, but being close to Stevens Creek, we called to see if we could drop by for an oil top off (which they said yes to). Once we got there, they send someone out to look at the car, questioning if we ever service the vehicle (we service VERY regularly at the dealership). He then mentions they can top it off (mind you, it's maybe half a quart from what Palo Alto told us in the past), but they need to charge us for the quart of oil. First of all, I don't appreciate being accused of not servicing the car. Not everyone is an idiot, and if you're just going to charge me to fill the oil, why even bother asking? They're probably trying to upsell me on some scam of a service I don't need. Second of all, I guess topping off what is probably $2 worth of oil (in actual cost to them) is not worth the customer experience tradeoff. We have a top trim fully loaded model which I'm sure we paid way too much for. It's good to know that we will never buy a car here and that we'll make sure to tell everyone else the same. We've literally had far better service with all other Audi dealerships we've dealt with. Then again, I guess there's so much money in this area, they clearly don't care about a few customers here and there. TAKE YOUR SERVICE NEEDS AND NEW CAR BUSINESS TO ANY OTHER AUDI DEALERSHIP! I test drove a lovely 2014 Toyota Rav4 Limited today. The vehicle had a roof rack, and when opened the door revealed a cheap lumbar support device still strapped over the nice seats which do include adjustable lumbar support. The steering wheel had a leather cover on it, the kind that slides on over the wheel. Before we drove off I asked if I could remove it, and upon being granted permission, removal left my lap covered in leather fragments from the oem wheel. I reinstalled it as I had never driven one before. The vehicle had an empty fuel tank so I was told to stay on stevens creek Blvd. During the test drive an obvious rattle came from the roof. We hit maybe 30 mph and the sales lady recalled that roof racks tend to make noise. Absolutely insulting, this was not wind noise it was clearly rattling and the vehicle had not even been inspected before being put on the lot. The brakes were very soft so I suspect either worn out pads or I would demand a rotor upgrade.
