    THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO BUY A CAR. This dealership charged us $1,495 for a "lifetime" Stargard GPS tracking system, which they claimed was already installed during my purchase of a 2021 Q50 Sensory, yet somehow they never even activated the tracker. My car was stolen three weeks ago. When I called the dealership for help, they brushed me off and sent me to Stargard, saying there was nothing they could do on their end. Fine, I understood the explanation about privacy. But when I tried to set up an account on the Stargard website, my VIN came back as "not found." Confused, I called Stargard support directly. That's when I was told the truth, the dealership never activated my tracker. On their end, it showed as "pending." Outrageous, considering I paid nearly $1,500 for it. To make matters worse, I've done all my regular car maintenance with them, oil changes, realignments, and OEM parts installed over the last two years, and I was never once told that the tracker wasn't activated. Since the theft, I've called numerous times, explained the situation over and over, and every single time I'm told, "You'll get a call back." I have received zero calls back. No help, no nothing. I remember clearly being upsold on this tracker by the salesman "Tony," who smiled and promised, "Oh, if your car ever gets stolen, we can help you find it right away." All lies. This was my first time purchasing a car, and I noticed a lot of shady dealings. Even before all this, the salesperson insisted the car was a "Signature" edition. Only to find out it was actually just a Sensory trim, another flat-out lie. At the signing stage, the finance manager looked us straight in the eye and claimed the car had "no damage at all." Later, I discovered there had been repairs done to the unibody. And if that wasn't enough, I was sold a very dirty and filthy car, even though they promised it would be washed after purchase. I ended up having to take it to a third-party detailer out of my own pocket. Buyer Beware. Update: It seems they are taking things in the right direction. Infiniti refunded the money I paid for the Stargard Lifetime, and it would be unfair to leave them at a 1-star review. In good faith, I'll be updating my review to 4 stars. I appreciate that they acknowledged the issue and took responsibility by issuing the refund. I'm satisfied with the resolution and hope they continue improving in this direction. I genuinely wish them well moving forward.

    Appointment 9am, 11/10/2024 Service Advisor: Ryan Fuller Service: Oil change and front/rear brake service I got a quote from Dublin Infiniti for brake service of $535 (pads and resurface). Same price for front and rear break service. If you are a Costco member, there's an extra 15% off for the service. Ryan in Infiniti of San Jose gave me $595 for brake service. He told me, due to different locations and managements, the price is fixed and make sense for $60 more. He asked me to go Infiniti of Dublin. $535 x 2 (front & rear) x 0.85 = $909 Thanks Ryan to save me lots of money. I would highly suggest comparing the cost of service from different dealerships. The worst thing is, Infiniti of San Jose chargers 3% extra for charging on credit card.

We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason. They suit all budgets and I will be recommending The Car Store to my friends. 5/5 Stars

    Scammed by DGDG…read more Last year, I sold my fully PPF-wrapped Tesla Model Y to DGDG. During the evaluation, they told me they had to deduct $1,000 from the offer because the car was wrapped and they needed to remove the wrap before reselling it. I accepted the reduced offer based on that explanation. Months later, I was contacted by the person who bought my old Tesla. He found me on LinkedIn to ask some questions about the car. To my surprise, he told me the car was sold to him with the full PPF wrap still on it. I immediately called DGDG to understand what happened. Their response was, "You agreed to the final selling price, so there's nothing we can do now." I spent over 90 minutes trying to reach a manager. Everyone I spoke with said, "I'm not responsible; I'll connect you to the manager," and then the line got disconnected. When I tried to call back, I received no response. When I finally got connected with a manager, she said, "The buyer wanted to have the PPF, so we didn't unwrap it." And while I was still talking to her, the phone got disconnected again. I called back, but no one answered. This was a clear case of deception. They reduced the price claiming they had to remove the wrap, then sold the car as-is with the wrap still on, profiting from my loss. Avoid doing business with this DGDG. If they ask to reduce your car's value for any reason, demand clear documentation that explains the breakdown of the final offer and the reasons behind any deductions. Do not rely on verbal explanations. I regret trusting them.

Well i had someone drive me from Livermore to San Jose just in case i did walkaway with the car since those were my intentions. Their site says they open at 10 am. we got there at 10:30 and the gates were still locked. so i called to make sure they were indeed open. The guy on the phone said Yes,and that the person opening up would be there soon, but that he was running late. That he had already spoken to him saying he was definitely on his way there it would only take ten minutes. So i waited, and waited. then i called again at 10:50 and again he said only five more minutes, to just wait. Well of course i waited i drove all the way over here, i wasn't just going to walk away. i even walked to car lot across the street and tooka look at those used cars. Then 11:15 or so came around and still nothing. and they have yet to call back to apologize or anything. Great reviews, i was hoping i would walk away with a cute new little car, but the level of professionalism and disrespect just made me turn away. i guess ill keep searching for a new car somewhere else.

The CarMax online quote was 5k; we visited the Fremont location for the appraisal (which was very busy) it took 90 min to get the offer document. You can redeem the offer at any location within 7 days, so we went to San Jose CarMax the next morning. We arrived before 10am opening, In 45 min, we completed the paperwork and had our check. Due to its age will likely go to auction, but it was a great car! Both locations are spacious & clean. Staff is helpful and professional however, Fremont is much busier as it is also an auction location. Recommend San Jose. If you go during a busy time, bring snacks; there are no cafes nearby, a coffee kiosk out front would do a great business.
