This was my third time dealing with AI. The first was when I had a system, amp, speakers and alarm installed in my Jeep Wrangler. AI did such a wonderful job that I returned in 2002 and had the complete work up again on my 2002 Mustang. The service is always great. I have never had any problems with the installation. And no where in the bay area can beat their prices!!! Now I have a 2005 Ford Escape that needed some goodies. Once again I returned to AI and had a DVD AV Reciever with the blue tooth adapter, ipod & flash drive cables, a car alarm, amp & speakers installed. The work along with the service was done very professional and in a timely fashion. I look forward to my future vehicles and what AI can bring to them. On a personal note: I want to give the young gentlemen at AI props for having a dream and accomplishing it. I find that most of the younger generation just want to skate by and these guys work hard to have their own company and maintain the great customer service to keep this old gal coming back for years to come, even living an hour away. I recently had a system installed by these guys in my 2006 Civic coupe. Once I walked into the door the first time, I spoke with one of the installers who was very helpful in figuring out what would be the best system for my car. He was cognizant about my budget and suggested a few things. Second time i came into the shop i spoke with the owner Jeff who was able to give me a good deal. I went back a couple weeks later to have the system (10" JL Audio W6V2 sub, JL Audio A1400 Class D, Monoblock amp) installed and they were really good at having it done at the time they said it would be done. Before i drove off with my car, I spent about an hour with the installer's fine tuning the system. Aaron was very helpful in making sure I was satisfied before I left with the car. I would recommend this place to just about anyone who wants a professional system installed. They are very friendly and the costs of their services were affordable. I was searching for a place to get a new stereo and Yelp once again to save the day. Called Audio Images and spoke to a guy named Aaron. He was extremely helpful. Not only could they get me a new stereo but same day installation. Audio Images looks like a totally regular shop but they have a convient lounge you and hang out while waiting not to mention your right near broadway so you can take a stroll. When I was all done the guys called me back to the shop. Amazing. So then the technician went over all the buttons I was unsure of and so on.... I am conpletely happy with the work Audio Images did on my car. I know I said they did it pretty fast and I payed even less then they quoted me over the phone. I went to Audio Images because my friend reffered me to them. I'm super "directionally challenged" and I decided to look into a navigation system. I drive all over the Bay Area and I've gone down one to many one way streets! I talked to the owner and asked how navigation systems work and what the costs were. He gave me some options but what I really appreciated was that he wasn't trying to sell me the most expensive he suggested the system that fit my needs. He recommended that I go with the one that was easy for me to understand and didn't have all the extra stuff that I didn't need. He literally told me, "Oh I wouldn't get that one if I were you because you won't use all that other stuff." He kept it real and thats rare this day in age, most people will just try to sell you. ! Long story short, my factory deck finally stopped working after several years, and I thought I'd have a real hassle on my hands. I stopped into Audio Images and was immediately met by the familiar face of the owner, who right from the get-go was colorful and very friendly, but more importantly was up front in telling me my options and very informative about all of the decks. I had a Hertz audio system installed on my 2021 Road Glide at Audio Images, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The install was clean, professional, and the sound quality was incredible. You can really tell they know what they're doing when it comes to motorcycle audio. What impressed me even more was their customer service years later. I started having an issue with the system and brought it back in. I bought a new car and couldn't get a CD player with the stereo system. I have a great collection of CDs that I love to play in the car. I went to Audio Images and talked with Rueben Ponce about installing an after market CD player. He laid out my options for this-zero. He said my only viable option was to buy a portable CD player, and connect it to my stereo system through bluetooth. I purchased one, and made another visit to Rueben, who showed me how to make it work. I offered to pay Rueben for his time, 2 visits, he declined. My only charge was for a cable, $5.00. Just wanted to give the guys props on a job well done. I have a Harley Davidson road glide and they put a stereo system on it that rocks. They put in a new radio and were able to keep my handlebar controls, four 5.25" focal speakers, an arc audio mini which is above my radio in my ferring, which means i don't lose saddlebag space. The whole system cost me a little over $1500. They have a bike display and most time have a Harley in the front of their shop that they are working on. I was looking for an auto shop to install a module for my head unit, went around and asking for quotes. Most shops quoted me at 80-90, while Audio Images quoted me at 65-70 for the work. Went in next day and got it done in an hour without any problem, the work was CLEAN and FAST! Best of all, they charged me the lesser amount of the quoted price! Definitely highly recommended! Been here a few times and always walked out happy. I had a really old system in my 2003 Mercedes that required A LOT of removing of old wires and equipment and was done for a fair price in about a few hours. Didnt scratch or crack the wood trimming when removing it from the dash either. Most importantly, they know their stuff and it will be done right! read more

This place is off beat.. definitely different in a dying sector... My old truck needed new tunes, they did a nice job for about $450.. They'd have gotten 5 stars had they realized and told me I had a blown speaker before I left the shop. Again in today's world there are less and less after market car stereo shops.. as new car stereos are better. read more

I love these guys. Andrew and Jeff are awesome, and they really know what they are doing when it comes to audio. They removed the broken sound system in my 1972 Mustang and replaced it with high quality speakers. The setup looks completely stock, and sounds amazing! It even fit my budget.
