The installers dropped my $500 subwoofer onto concrete and still installed it without telling me. The owner lied to my face and told me he handled the sub himself when he was obviously lying. Once I listened to it I noticed it sounded horrible. Took the sub out and saw the damage. Cannot believe the owner, Jeff, lied like this and even allowed it to happen. read more

My husband heard about Audio Zone from a friend that takes all his vehicles there. Jeff installed head lights and fog lights on my BMW. Well, it was actually one of his employees that did the work. After a couple of times of taking my car back to get the lights working properly Jeff himself did the work and added a bonus for me to express his apology! How wonderful and thoughtful was that! He and his dad both are awesome people, just like family, very very nice, professional and will get the job done right! Jeff will not quit until it's right! I came in yesterday 4.27.18 to ask about window tint. When I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours to complete, I made an appointment for today at 1pm. I was here before 1 to drop off and when I called at 3:30 to find out what was going on...I was left on hold for 13min and then disconnected. As I made my way here I was called and told it will be another 45 min. So here I sit hours later waiting. What is the point of making an appointment and why wouldn't someone call and say they were behind. I've waisted a good part of my day and I'm not really happy about it. read more

Worst Audio install place I have ever been to. Complete lack of professionalism not to even mention the fact that warranty and guarantee are not part of the dictionary. This place charged me $35 to get subs replaced (wiring pre done) and they didn't set it up correctly so it only worked for 2 days and they wanted me to pay another $35 to get my original setup back in there. I asked about the warranty and they blamed me for coming 1 week later compared to immediately as soon as the problem started to occur. They didn't want to understand that people are busy and there are more important things in life than a simple sound system in the car. They refused to service my car and sent me on my way. read more

I went to Audio Zone to have a radio installed. I use Waze on my phone for navigation and wanted to use the same app in my car. I found myself constantly having to hold my phone while driving and saw that police in Arlington where giving tickets from a travel bus for "distracted driving" aka using phone while driving which included GPS use. So, bottom line I decided to get a radio that would show Waze on in dash. Jeff the owner told me about two options that would work with my 2015 KIA and told me the pros and cons of each. After weighing the two options and prices I decided to wait. I always look for the best price so went to best buy and car toys and priced the same unit with install. Audio Zone's price beat the others hands down. I called to schedule installation and dropped off my car. Jeff called me ahead of schedule to tell me my car was ready for pick up. When I got there he walked me me through how to use the radio and showed me many of other features I didn't even realize the radio had. GREAT experience, great radio, great turn around time. All around super happy. I will and have since referred friends here. Being able to use Waze instead of a factory installed GPS system is hands down the best option for me. Thanks Audio Zone for taking care of me. Going into stores like this alone as a female is sometimes exhausting because you feel like you will be taken advantage of, however, I felt the complete opposite here. Thanks again!! read more

If I could give this place no starts, the I would. I came to this location at the beginning of the year to get HID's put on my truck. About a month later, the lights started to flicker, and it would literally take me 10 minutes to get them to come on. The radio would begin to static and gauge lights would dim dramatically. I went back and told the OWNER the issue. He looked me up in the system and said he would take care of it. He gave some lame excuse about the wiring. Now another 2 months later I needed to get my battery replaced, electrical is shot, and the lights wont work anymore. I went back and told him what was going on. The same dude acted like he didn't even know me. Asked for a receipt this time, I told him I didn't have it that last time he looked me up in the system. He then told me that, well I am the owner, and I need a receipt to replace or I will charge you a 70.00 replacement fee. While the dude dad was sitting there chuckling at the fact that I did not have my receipt. Are you kidding me??? This place is a darn joke. They use cheap equipment, and they have a bunch of kids working in the back that seem like they have no idea what they are doing. OBVIOUSLY. This place is a JOKE! The funny thing, is when I was in there, another guy walked in to complain about the system they installed in his car. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! read more

Hours of operation not observed, less than desirable costumer service(no follow up), poor, safety and substandard service. Coercion and blackmailing. My son and I arrived at Audio Zone Inc. on July 25,2015 at address 1230 N Belt line Rd. Irving, TX. 75061 at 9:30 am, per the hours of operation posted, and parked at the front of the store. An older gentleman,who apparently looked to be the owner, and a young child showed up to the store at approximately 10:10 am to open the store. The older gentleman asked how he could help while giving orders to the child to do some chores inside the shop. I requested for the installation of the wiring for the fog lights I bought previously online. I told him that two weeks prior to this date, Jeff who is the installer, had agreed to charge $65 for the service. The older gentleman then took what look to be a receipt and wrote down the service order, including the price agreed of $65, as I gave him the truck key. At that time, he did not specify the form of payment, cash or credit card, and there was not a sign posted for a preference for either one. Before even I gave my key to him, a discussion on the phone about an employee coming in late, took place. It was 10:30 am before some noise in the back of the shop called my attention. I went towards the back. In between screeching of tires as they were moving (assuming costumers cars) to clear the space to work on my truck who was already in the back of the store I tried to tell Jeff about what I wanted done and the specifics of the service needed for the truck. He never acknowledged me and tossed the wiring I gave him on the floor in front of the truck, rudely and with disregard to the service requested as he stormed off into the shop. Neither man came to explain their recommended services for the truck, or options for the service. Around 11:30 am the older man finally called my name to say..."your truck caught fire..., we need to contact your insurance company". Alarmed and in disbelief I asked " Are you serious?" and he laughed asking me for the money..., "in cash please" he replied. I said,"I have a credit card to pay"..., his credit card machine was sitting right between us. He said,"Do you want me to charge you taxes?"! implying a tax break for cash..., he continued pushing me to visit the Walgreens located few blocks up the street to obtain cash before seeing the truck's job end result. He even threatened to raise the cost of the service by charging me $10 more to inspect the work performed in the truck before I paid the agreed $65 fee. I finally ended up walking out and almost ready to submit to his coercion before the truck arrived driven by an employee to the front. At that time, I took the key from the employee and took it upon myself to look inside the hood. To my amazement and disbelief I saw wires running, hanging out of the fuse box compromising the electrical safety, and causing a fire hazard in my vehicle. I'm not a professional electrician by any means, neither a "professional installer", as Jeff admits being, but rules of common sense and basic knowledge would advise against the poor unsecured work that I observed. In my discussion with him about the poor quality of his work and how it was a fire hazard for my vehicle, he prompted the employee to rip the wires out of the fuse box while I was standing and he was telling me..., " I'm not going to give you a free job!" I was appalled and shocked. Based on multiple concerns: the integrity of the electrical system, their billing & collection practices, and possible tax evasion practices, I got out of the shop to never come back. read more

really cheap, but quality work. i got my windows tinted from them and it looks great. also got a new head unit and everything works great and is inexpensive. definitely reccomend this place read more
