    Katsu sandwich
    Eva A.

Strong, creative drinks. Food is a hit or miss - the sweet chili shrimp is AMAZING, very lightly fried and decadent. A must get. Eggplant dip is okay, the pita is very soft and warm though. I expected more from the katsu sandwich, which to me was just a typical fried chicken sandwich. While I found the decor inside to be a little stark and not the coziest, all 3 bathrooms were clean and our waitress was super nice and checked on us many times throughout our meal. Glad I checked out audobon! I could see myself coming back soon.

4.6 stars Came here the other week on a Tuesday when they have taco specials. $8 for a taco is pretty pricey but I'll admit, they were pretty darn tasty and BIG. I got the chorizo tacos and the carnitas tacos. The carnitas were ok but the chorizo tacos were DELISH! Also got some queso and chips. They queso had nice flavor but had a weird consistency: almost as if it was just melted grated cheese and some spices added into a hot pan. Despite the low number of chips, they were great and tasted homemade. Their drinks are also fantastic. Overall it's a cool spot for bites and drinks. Kinda pricey but they delivered with the flavor. Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Flavors: 4.5/5 Drinks: 5/5

We at 9 on a sat and got seated immediately. The drinks were good and the food was delicious! We got the katsu sandwiches and they were huge. For $16, it was a good deal and super delicious. I'd go back if I'm in the area!

Dim, hipster vibe restaurant and bar with an interesting blend of modern and classic decorations. Staff were welcoming if also short staffed for dinner on a Wednesday. The katsu chicken was the star of the dinner followed closely by the dirty fries. the chicken was well done with the bun, pickles and aioli complementing it well. The dirty fries were very good and filling, with the chorizo being a welcome touch. Unfortunately the salmon risotto was disappointing. The risotto was rather bland and had a fishy taste (perhaps from crab juice?) while the salmon was heavily salted.

If you're looking for an above average bar experience, Audubon is a great bet. I've been dying to try this place and definitely did not leave disappointed. It's located right near Fenway Park, tucked away on a busy street. On the outside, it doesn't look very special, but inside it's different from your typical bar. With dark lighting and candles lighting up each table, you get a slightly more intimate experience dining here. It is slightly distracting having huge TVs playing sports games (like most bars have) so I'd hesitate saying that this place has an ultra romantic, date night atmosphere. Still, we really enjoyed our overall experience here. The wait staff were busy but friendly, and got us started with cocktails which were delicious. I ordered the mulled wine which was super flavorful -- with a stick of cinnamon and a slice of orange inside. For the main course, my partner and I split a burger and a steak sandwich which were both great. The burger was fresh and juicy, and I loved the crispy fries and house sauce that came with it. The steak sandwich was tangy and PACKED with mushrooms, which I also enjoyed. I'd love to stop by here again to try some of their other menu items!

Really gem hidden in the Fenway area. The cheese board is surprisingly one of the best I have had. They didn't skimp out on high quality cheese. Hailey, the bartender, can make you a custom drink (in non-busy times) that was very yummy. Ask her for the "Roger That"

We came here for a late night snack and drinks, and it was a great time! We each ordered two drinks in total, all of which were delicious. The star of the night was our server, Peter, who was amazing and very helpful! He recommended to us the pretzel, which I can easily say was the best dish of the night. We spent two hours here just chatting, enjoying the music, and snacking. This restaurant/bar is a great place to go to for a relaxing fun night that's close to Fenway.

We threw a party here for about 20 people and were SO pleased. We had some of all the appetizers; some favorites for me were the ricotta dip, the hummus and the spicy brussel sprouts. Audubon also had both great cocktails and mocktails. All the servers were super friendly and attentive. It's a pretty restaurant (albeit very, very dark). I will definitely return here.

We stopped in to Audubon on our way to Fenway Park. We had reservations and they sat us right down and service was truly excellent. I love the atmosphere of Audubon and how their staff treats you. You feel like you have more than one waitress that cares for you and it's a great feeling. No confusion just straight up get your drinks get your food and treat you really really well. We loved the shrimp appetizer and our dinners were terrific. Seasoned well and cooked perfect! Great experience!

Really excellent food, drink, and ambiance! The lights and fluffy palm plants on the patio were a fun vibe as the sun set. We were lucky to stop by on Taco Tuesday and enjoy a whole selection of margaritas and tacos. The fish taco was my personal favorite, but the Barbacoa and Carnitas were also really good. They were a decent size for their $8 price. The margaritas were soooo delicious! And the rest of their cocktails were creative and the rest of folks in my party said they were all very good and strong!

Great service and food. Not the brunch ambiance we were looking for; has more of a typical bar feel. The food was great; no complaints about it actually. Highly recommend the burger and dirty fries.

Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. We also ordered the cucumber salad, which was refreshing, light, and the perfect complement to the richness of the pizza. While the kitchen delivered a solid meal, the service was so profoundly disappointing that it completely overshadowed the food. The culinary side of things easily earns a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. We ordered a wide variety of items to share, and the highlights included: * The Pizzas: Creative flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality toppings and fantastic crusts. * The Bucatini Pasta: Perfectly cooked and packed with rich flavor. * The Asparagus Appetizer & The Chicken Milanese: Both executed well, flavorful, and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was uniformly horrible. For a large party, hospitality can make or break the night, and our server missed the mark at every single turn: * Argumentative & Dismissive: He actively argued with our host regarding an appetizer that had been ordered in advance. When asked about vegetarian substitutions for a sold-out pasta dish, he curtly replied, "Pasta with butter is all we can do"--despite the fact that we could clearly see a wide variety of fresh vegetables being used right on their pizzas. * Inattentive: Dirty dishes piled up on our table, and when we politely asked for them to be cleared, he claimed he needed to get help and walked away completely empty-handed. Our drink orders were rarely checked on or refilled. * Rude to Guests: He displayed visible attitude and put-off body language whenever anyone asked a simple question. This peaked when he was outright rude to one of the young women in our party who simply wanted to put her order in a bit early because she had to leave before the rest of the group. It is a real shame because the ingredients and the kitchen's output are genuinely good. However, between the hostile attitude and the lack of basic service standards, we unfortunately won't be rushing back.

We started with Burrata Toast and Oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were placed on a covered plate to contain the smoke. The presentation was only eclipsed by the oysters' flavor. It was a rainy day in Boston so we decided to spend the day indoors. We saw this restaurant and it looked beautiful so decided to come here for lunch. The hostesses were all super nice and professional. The ambiance is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the outdoor patio was closed today due to inclement weather. When we first sat down our waiter seemed distracted and in a bad mood. Everyone has an off day so we didn't think too much of it. He took our drink orders and we received our drinks quickly. When we went to order we both had planned on brunch. It was our fault that we missed that brunch is only served on the weekends, but this is where things really went wrong. The waiter was irritated that we asked him to come back. He seemed to have forgotten to come back as we sat for about a half hour before he came back. Both of our drinks were empty and we still hadn't ordered. Finally we ordered and got more drinks. The food came and I had ordered the carne asada tacos. I took one bite and knew I was in trouble. The meat was so chewy that I couldn't break it down. After chewing for what felt like an eternity, I had a choice to make. Spit it out or swallow it whole. I made the decision to swallow and then began a near choking experience. To be fair I have issues with my esophagus so I am known to eat very dainty bites. But I literally had to force myself to vomit this up in the restroom. The waiter came back and didn't even inquire as to why someone would eat just one bite of food. You would think that he would ask if I didn't like it or something. I'm not sure what was going on with that meat but it was inedible. The waiter was rude and not attentive. The rest of the experience was good though. I will go back and give it another try because one bad waiter and one bad dish deserves one more try.
