Found this beautiful restaurant after being disappointed with another spot close by. We were surprised that they were not busy, but so glad we stumbled onto this restaurant. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We decided to order a few items to share and were happy with all our choices. Our server was also wonderful, asking if we also wanted pita with our hummus and veggies. The hummus was my favorite, a very unique combination of hummus and pesto, which sounds odd but was so delicious. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the added pita was soft, grilled and perfectly seasoned. Our flatbread was yummy along with our sliders. This restaurant should be a must do if you are in Boston.

Was in town for some business meetings and had the craving for some good lunch's. Within walking distance, Yelp guided me to Amber Road Bar & Grill. I ended up ordering the egg rolls which were both unique and delicious as well as the burger. The burger was a combination of both art and flavor. It was juicy, hot, and flavorful. Service-wise, the staff was attentive. They were quick to seat us as well as quick to refill drinks and take orders. One of things I loved most about this place was the decor. They had a beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At first I couldn't tell if it was real or fake - regardless, it was a nice addition to the restaurant. On my next trip to the office, I will be sure to visit again!

We had a delicious meal at Amber Road. The Asian tuna tacos are so good! Steak frites were cooked perfectly and the garlic chicken was so tender!! We also had some cocktails. The painkiller and an espresso martini. Both delicious. The service was fantastic. This is a lovely restaurant with high ceilings and huge windows. It can get pretty busy but we dined early (5:30pm) on Saturday so the dining room was pretty quiet, but was filling up when we left. The food and drink is pricey, but makes for a nice splurge.

"This experience was remarkable" - my wife. Your wife will say the same thing. By far, the best food and service we have had after a week in Boston. The atmosphere is worth just a quick stop in for lunch at the very least. Barbara was our waitress, again the best experience we have had all week.

The definition of a Hidden Gem! We loved almost everything about Amber Road. Ambiance is cute, although acoustics were a bit loud. Service from Ashlie was outstanding. She offered suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was pretty busy. The food was really great, and we enjoyed everything we got. The lobster turnover was my favorite thing during the whole of this trip to Boston, and I will be thinking then when we get home. Black Truffle Chicken was also really delicious, too! Excellent drinks and a limited but thoughtful slate of wines by the glass. I already recommended it to a friend who was looking for a spot to dine this evening, and would tell anyone to get in for outstanding food!

The restaurant is stunning. We were greeted with a friendly face and sat down right away. Our server took our drink order and let us know the kitchen closes at 9pm. We had an 8:30 Rez. I ordered a Paloma and my husband had the Paperplane. The menu has several meat and seafood options with a few vegetarian plates. We ordered calamari, Margherita flatbread, the lemon chicken, and miso salmon. The food was super tasty. The dipping sauce for the calamari was unique. I would def get the salmon again. The chicken was good but nothing stood out to me. We liked the garlic on the flatbread. We hope to have more time for dessert in the future. Def would come back again.

HIDDEN GEM! Food, service , ambience was a 10! Looking for a spot that gives you all this without a weekend wait-line! Try it out! Although if we had to wait it would have been worth it ! My daughter works in the area and frequents her lunches here, This is her 4th time bringing people for dinner. She raves about this place. Now I know why! It appears the week days are their busiest times since they are in the financial district. Dinner was amazing and it won't be long before the crowd discovers the quiet & quick amazing meal at night rocks!!!

That may be the way they're supposed to be served here but I didn't like that part. The service was super friendly and the food was brought out quickly. I loved that the staff were all wearing Spain jerseys to celebrate the World Cup win! One last thing I didn't like: there's a QR code at your table to pay your bill on your phone which is convenient, but they tack on a sneaky $2 platform fee if you use it, and it takes some extra effort to have your server actually bring you the bill to avoid that. Two bucks isn't a big deal but it's the principle! I'd rather put that amount towards the tip.

The low lighting, music, and stylish décor create a fun atmosphere that's great for catching up with friends or enjoying a night out in the Seaport area. The service was wonderful on both visits. The servers were attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. The drinks were another highlight. I tend to prefer sweet, fruity cocktails, and the lychee drink was right up my alley. I'd happily order it again. As for the food, it was... average. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. During dinner, we had the paella and the steak. On my lunch visit, we tried the roasted chicken, patatas bravas, garlic shrimp, and the ham and mushroom croquettes. Everything was perfectly edible, but I'd rate each dish around a 3/5. We ate because we were hungry, but none of the dishes left me wanting to come back for them. Overall, Boqueria is a great place if you're looking for a nice atmosphere, good drinks, and excellent service. If you're going primarily for the food, though, I think there are better options. I'm not sure I'd return to eat, but I'd definitely consider stopping in for drinks.

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. Also attached/sister company to American Provisions I believe (great spot in Southie for sandwiches, cheeses, wines, pastries, rare food items).

We thought a drink by the water sounded great. Para Maria is just across the street from a waterfront spot that is very popular, so they don't have unobstructed water views, but we knew the water was there. And on a hot summer day in mid-August, they had the big garage doors open to the outside. It felt like we were somewhere beautiful and relaxing on vacation. We took two seats at their very large bar (which was not very busy at all on a Friday in the afternoon) and ordered a couple of drinks. Mine was their Picosita (Lalo Tequila, Ancho Reyes, Mango, Jalapeno, and Tajin rim), which was perfect for a summer day. I'd love to return with a group, because their margarita pitchers come in lots of flavors/styles (classic, strawberry, lychee, guava, coconut, and spicy), and that would be a great thing to share with friends on the patio of the bar. We didn't eat on this occasion, but I'd be happy to return for more drinks and maybe a bite to eat next time!

Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. While a few dishes hit the mark, the majority of our order was a letdown: Tinned Octopus: Surprisingly chewy and lacked seasoning. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and she even offered a few samples so we could try before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. For food, we shared the hot dog with fried oysters to pair with the wine, and it was surprisingly delicious and a fun, elevated bar bite. Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Pricing is definitely on the higher end, with wine glasses around $20 and the hot dog at $14, but the quality and experience justify it. I'd absolutely come back for another wine night.
