HIDDEN GEM! Food, service , ambience was a 10! Looking for a spot that gives you all this without a weekend wait-line! Try it out! Although if we had to wait it would have been worth it ! My daughter works in the area and frequents her lunches here, This is her 4th time bringing people for dinner. She raves about this place. Now I know why! It appears the week days are their busiest times since they are in the financial district. Dinner was amazing and it won't be long before the crowd discovers the quiet & quick amazing meal at night rocks!!!

The definition of a Hidden Gem! We loved almost everything about Amber Road. Ambiance is cute, although acoustics were a bit loud. Service from Ashlie was outstanding. She offered suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was pretty busy. The food was really great, and we enjoyed everything we got. The lobster turnover was my favorite thing during the whole of this trip to Boston, and I will be thinking then when we get home. Black Truffle Chicken was also really delicious, too! Excellent drinks and a limited but thoughtful slate of wines by the glass. I already recommended it to a friend who was looking for a spot to dine this evening, and would tell anyone to get in for outstanding food!

The restaurant is stunning. We were greeted with a friendly face and sat down right away. Our server took our drink order and let us know the kitchen closes at 9pm. We had an 8:30 Rez. I ordered a Paloma and my husband had the Paperplane. The menu has several meat and seafood options with a few vegetarian plates. We ordered calamari, Margherita flatbread, the lemon chicken, and miso salmon. The food was super tasty. The dipping sauce for the calamari was unique. I would def get the salmon again. The chicken was good but nothing stood out to me. We liked the garlic on the flatbread. We hope to have more time for dessert in the future. Def would come back again.

Both the drink and food menus have a staggering variety of items. My favorites were the tortilla español ($10) that came with the delicious garlic aioli and the jamon Iberico ($34), though nothing was a dud. The croquetas were hot, fluffy, and so unique. Beautiful Space, Catastrophic Execution…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years. We visited Boqueria Boston on Father's Day and arrived to find the restaurant nearly empty. Despite that, the experience started poorly when the host refused to accommodate a simple request to sit near a TV so we could watch the FIFA match. After being seated, it took roughly 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. We ordered two bottled beers, a bottle of still water, and tap water. The tap water arrived within minutes, but the beers and bottled water took another 10+ minutes. The beers were served without glasses, and the bottled water was simply dropped on the table without being served. When ordering, we were informed that at least five menu items were unavailable, including the seafood paella we had specifically come to try. The explanation was that they were out of clams and mussels. After insisting they check with the kitchen, we were told they could prepare it without the clams, so we agreed. The pacing of the meal was baffling. Pimientos de Padrón arrived after about 15 minutes, but then another 20-25 minutes passed before the cheese board and salad appeared. The quality was disappointing throughout. The goat cheese tasted like a bulk food-service product, and the pan con tomate was overwhelmed by raw garlic. The gambas took roughly 45 minutes to arrive and came with only three tiny pieces of bread. We immediately ordered additional grilled bread and waited another 20 minutes for that. Throughout the meal, every inquiry about the delays was met with excuses, despite the restaurant being mostly empty and fully staffed. After waiting more than an hour for the paella, I finally requested the check. Miraculously, the paella appeared moments later. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the wait. It was bland, lacked any depth of flavor, and was among the most forgettable paellas I've ever had. To make matters worse, no fresh plates or utensils were provided for the main course. Service remained consistently poor. Water glasses were never refilled. Different servers randomly dropped off dishes, yet nobody seemed interested in clearing empty plates. We eventually started stacking dirty dishes on a neighboring table ourselves before someone finally removed them. Our primary server informed us she was going on break and essentially disappeared for the remainder of the meal, only reappearing when it was time to present the check. The only employee who showed any accountability was an older gentleman who eventually stepped in, acknowledged the problems, and provided a 50% discount after realizing part of our order had never been rung in. While appreciated, the gesture came far too late to salvage the experience. Beyond the service issues, the operational details were concerning. The open kitchen made it easy to observe staff working without hairnets or hats, and employees were constantly entering and exiting the same restrooms used by guests, often carrying backpacks and personal belongings through the dining room. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've had much better experiences at Boqueria locations in New York. However, this visit reinforced what feels like a steady decline in the brand. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The concept is strong. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, the management and training appear to be severely lacking. With so many outstanding dining options in Boston's Seaport, I cannot recommend this location. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. Also attached/sister company to American Provisions I believe (great spot in Southie for sandwiches, cheeses, wines, pastries, rare food items).

I absolutely ADORE this place. It's one of my top 3 places in all of Boston. The vibes, the food, the wine, the prices, EVERYTHING is 10/10. This is one of those places where I feel at peace because I feel like my money was 100% well-spent. The prices are fair, and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. And the FOOD, the food is exquisite. My favorite time to go is on Tuesdays for the $1 oyster deal, definitely my favorite $1 oyster deal in the city. They mostly have small plates and a few large plates, but you seriously can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the wine options, amazinggggggg. Gray's is a true gem!

The wine selection is excellent and thoughtfully curated -- whites, reds, bubbles, orange wines, and more, so there's truly something for every palate. My friend and I both ordered a red, and it was absolutely perfect. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and she even offered a few samples so we could try before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. For food, we shared the hot dog with fried oysters to pair with the wine, and it was surprisingly delicious and a fun, elevated bar bite. Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Pricing is definitely on the higher end, with wine glasses around $20 and the hot dog at $14, but the quality and experience justify it. I'd absolutely come back for another wine night.

Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. While a few dishes hit the mark, the majority of our order was a letdown: Tinned Octopus: Surprisingly chewy and lacked seasoning. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but it was definitely disappointing given how much I usually love this place!

We were intrigued by the pommes soufflé on the menu and should have asked what exactly it was before ordering a $22 dish, and almost burst out laughing when it arrived to our table - two tiny potato puffs topped with caviar. I suppose the caviar more than made up for it but I could have eaten at least five more pieces. The presentation of the salmon belly crudo was pretty but there were only five pieces for two of us, and each piece was less than a mouthful. I love salmon belly and this one tasted a tad less fresh/unctuous than other iterations. We decided we needed more substantial food and ordered the focaccia and an all-meat charcuterie board. The focaccia was oily enough for me to keep wiping off my fingers but probably my favorite thing of what we ordered; the charcuterie came on a piece of wax or parchment paper, an interesting choice, and, with all the rich meats (pate, ham, and duck rilette), I was finally satiated. Actually, my favorite was the farmer's whim cocktail: though not very strong, it was a beautiful beet color and taste, and though the base alcohol of rye is something I never opt for, it was extremely drinkable. Our waitress was so sweet and, even though we decided not to order any dessert, brought out two cups of soft serve with candles. Feel free to peruse the farmer's market section as you leave, though the $6 sodas was quite a sight to behold.
