My husband and I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant last night as we were walking to our air b&b. After a full day of travel we were *starving*, and Amber Road did not disappoint! We got the lemon pepper rotisserie chicken, and I truly think it was the best chicken and whipped potatoes of my life. I cannot describe how perfectly the flavors went together, the chicken was so tender with the perfect amount of lemon and pepper, and the potatoes were perfection. It was so good, I can see ourselves going back this same trip! I don't leave many reviews, but after we ate I looked at my husband and said, "that was so good I have to leave a review." Bianca greeted us warmly and took great care of us! We were so tired from a long day of travel and had our luggage with us, and she was so accommodating. We also had their raspberry cheesecake for dessert, and it was the perfect cheesecake texture that was rich and dense and creamy. If you're in Boston, go, go, go!!! Made my way into Amber Road late afternoon on August 26, 2026. Coming in from the street entrance was a little confusing because there wasn't a host stand there. Once inside, we realized it was on the far right near what appeared to be another entrance from inside 100 Federal Street. The initial greeting was a little cold. No smile or warm welcome, just a question about whether we had reservations. We were given the choice of sitting inside or outside, which was nice. We chose inside, and the space is beautiful. The seating, copper details and huge faux cherry blossom tree really make the room. Our waitress, was all smiles when she came over and recommended the Painkiller, which immediately reminded me of being on a Caribbean vacation. I really enjoyed it. My wife had the 50/50 Martini, which officially jumped to second place on her list of best martinis in the city. For food, we shared the Wagyu Beef Sliders, Mini Tuna Tacos, Calamari and Truffle Fries. The sliders were probably the weakest for me. The meat tasted a little plain, and some extra sauce or being offered condiments would have helped. The truffle fries had a mix of crispy and softer fries, which I actually enjoy. The calamari was delicious with its creamy dipping sauce. The Mini Tuna Tacos were easily my favorite. Fresh tuna with a light, crispy shell and plenty of flavor. I'd order those again without thinking twice. Service was where the experience fell short. After our food arrived, our waitress didn't check on us again until we were basically finished. With barely any customers in the restaurant at the time, I expected the service to be more attentive. I would have ranked this spot higher, but the overall service could definitely improve. Also, random honorable mention for the restroom. The oyster shell wallpaper is such a cool detail. I notice things like that, and it fit the space perfectly. Overall, Amber Road is a beautiful restaurant with good food and drinks. There's a lot to like here, but the service kept the experience from being as good as it could have been. read more

Stopped by Amber Road on the way to a concert at the Garden, mostly because it's conveniently located between there and South Station. We sat at the bar and had a really nice experience overall! The space itself is stunning, it has the unique combo of being upscale and design-forward, while also having massive TVs everywhere. It would be a nice place to watch a game if traditional sports bars aren't your thing. Since we were just stopping by for a quick snack, I can't speak to much of the menu, but the Mini Tuna Tacos were really tasty. We also tried one of the flatbreads, but I probably wouldn't order it again. The crust was underwhelming and the toppings didn't really make up for it. My favorite part of the experience was the dirty martini. They make it exactly to my taste: just briney enough with perfect blue cheese olives. I'd definitely visit again in this kind of scenario. Found this beautiful restaurant after being disappointed with another spot close by. We were surprised that they were not busy, but so glad we stumbled onto this restaurant. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We decided to order a few items to share and were happy with all our choices. Our server was also wonderful, asking if we also wanted pita with our hummus and veggies. The hummus was my favorite, a very unique combination of hummus and pesto, which sounds odd but was so delicious. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the added pita was soft, grilled and perfectly seasoned. Our flatbread was yummy along with our sliders. Was in town for some business meetings and had the craving for some good lunch's. Within walking distance, Yelp guided me to Amber Road Bar & Grill. I ended up ordering the egg rolls which were both unique and delicious as well as the burger. The burger was a combination of both art and flavor. It was juicy, hot, and flavorful. Service-wise, the staff was attentive. They were quick to seat us as well as quick to refill drinks and take orders. One of things I loved most about this place was the decor. They had a beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At first I couldn't tell if it was real or fake - regardless, it was a nice addition to the restaurant. We had a delicious meal at Amber Road. The Asian tuna tacos are so good! Steak frites were cooked perfectly and the garlic chicken was so tender!! We also had some cocktails. The painkiller and an espresso martini. Both delicious. The service was fantastic. This is a lovely restaurant with high ceilings and huge windows. It can get pretty busy but we dined early (5:30pm) on Saturday so the dining room was pretty quiet, but was filling up when we left. The food and drink is pricey, but makes for a nice splurge. read more

The definition of a Hidden Gem! We loved almost everything about Amber Road. Ambiance is cute, although acoustics were a bit loud. Service from Ashlie was outstanding. She offered suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was pretty busy. The food was really great, and we enjoyed everything we got. The lobster turnover was my favorite thing during the whole of this trip to Boston, and I will be thinking then when we get home. Black Truffle Chicken was also really delicious, too! Excellent drinks and a limited but thoughtful slate of wines by the glass. I already recommended it to a friend who was looking for a spot to dine this evening, and would tell anyone to get in for outstanding food! read more

The restaurant is stunning. We were greeted with a friendly face and sat down right away. Our server took our drink order and let us know the kitchen closes at 9pm. We had an 8:30 Rez. I ordered a Paloma and my husband had the Paperplane. The menu has several meat and seafood options with a few vegetarian plates. We ordered calamari, Margherita flatbread, the lemon chicken, and miso salmon. The food was super tasty. The dipping sauce for the calamari was unique. I would def get the salmon again. The chicken was good but nothing stood out to me. We liked the garlic on the flatbread. We hope to have more time for dessert in the future. Def would come back again. read more

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with elegant yet relaxed decor that sets the tone for a great happy hour experience. My team and I stopped by around 4:30pm on a Monday night. We made a reservation beforehand since it was a large group of us, but found it wasn't necessary so early in the evening. We had a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We ordered the Asian mini tuna tacos, a Margherita pizza, and the calamari and for drinks espresso martinis, the amber road, and aperol spritzes. I personally thought that the calamari was a little too dry and the tuna tacos were a bit too salty. The flatbread stood out as a high point with its delightful flavors and perfect crisp. Despite some inconsistencies, the ambiance and service were commendable, making it worth a visit for those willing to explore the menu further. read more

Beautiful modern restaurant. Great ambiance. Our family had a pasta with wagyu meatballs plate which was quite good, a prime burger which was also very good, and the scallops special with risotto which was excellent. I had the herb flavored chicken soup which was very good without being salty. The only dish that was NOT good at all was the steak spring rolls- the meat was a bit fatty in parts and a bit bland - and the sauce was nothing to write home about. This is a new restaurant (opened 5/2024) in the Financial District of Boston. Because of the location expect more crowds during weekdays and the after work crowd. The interiors are inviting and very well done- great lighting, beautiful artificial blossoming tree is a focal point inside. The bar is well lit, craft cocktails are offered as well as a good wine list. The outdoor patio has great seating- not a fan of the artificial plantings outside- but for end of summer it can pass. Everything we ordered was spot on in presentation, flavor and temperature and we found the menu easy - as there is something tasty for all palettes. Looking forward to returning. read more

My husband and I had a late dinner last night. We had trouble finding the restaurant and were a little late arriving for our reservation. When we arrived the host was so welcoming despite our tardiness. The restaurant is elegant and currently beautifully decorated for the holidays. We ordered the salmon, Margherita pizza, and steak egg rolls. The pizza and salmon were delicious- no complaints. The egg rolls were crispy but slightly bland, however the dipping sauce that came with it was flavorful. The service was top notch. Our server Bianca was so kind and welcoming.
