Found this beautiful restaurant after being disappointed with another spot close by. We were surprised that they were not busy, but so glad we stumbled onto this restaurant. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We decided to order a few items to share and were happy with all our choices. Our server was also wonderful, asking if we also wanted pita with our hummus and veggies. The hummus was my favorite, a very unique combination of hummus and pesto, which sounds odd but was so delicious. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the added pita was soft, grilled and perfectly seasoned. Our flatbread was yummy along with our sliders. This restaurant should be a must do if you are in Boston.

Was in town for some business meetings and had the craving for some good lunch's. Within walking distance, Yelp guided me to Amber Road Bar & Grill. I ended up ordering the egg rolls which were both unique and delicious as well as the burger. The burger was a combination of both art and flavor. It was juicy, hot, and flavorful. Service-wise, the staff was attentive. They were quick to seat us as well as quick to refill drinks and take orders. One of things I loved most about this place was the decor. They had a beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At first I couldn't tell if it was real or fake - regardless, it was a nice addition to the restaurant. On my next trip to the office, I will be sure to visit again!

We had a delicious meal at Amber Road. The Asian tuna tacos are so good! Steak frites were cooked perfectly and the garlic chicken was so tender!! We also had some cocktails. The painkiller and an espresso martini. Both delicious. The service was fantastic. This is a lovely restaurant with high ceilings and huge windows. It can get pretty busy but we dined early (5:30pm) on Saturday so the dining room was pretty quiet, but was filling up when we left. The food and drink is pricey, but makes for a nice splurge.

"This experience was remarkable" - my wife. Your wife will say the same thing. By far, the best food and service we have had after a week in Boston. The atmosphere is worth just a quick stop in for lunch at the very least. Barbara was our waitress, again the best experience we have had all week.

The definition of a Hidden Gem! We loved almost everything about Amber Road. Ambiance is cute, although acoustics were a bit loud. Service from Ashlie was outstanding. She offered suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was pretty busy. The food was really great, and we enjoyed everything we got. The lobster turnover was my favorite thing during the whole of this trip to Boston, and I will be thinking then when we get home. Black Truffle Chicken was also really delicious, too! Excellent drinks and a limited but thoughtful slate of wines by the glass. I already recommended it to a friend who was looking for a spot to dine this evening, and would tell anyone to get in for outstanding food!

The restaurant is stunning. We were greeted with a friendly face and sat down right away. Our server took our drink order and let us know the kitchen closes at 9pm. We had an 8:30 Rez. I ordered a Paloma and my husband had the Paperplane. The menu has several meat and seafood options with a few vegetarian plates. We ordered calamari, Margherita flatbread, the lemon chicken, and miso salmon. The food was super tasty. The dipping sauce for the calamari was unique. I would def get the salmon again. The chicken was good but nothing stood out to me. We liked the garlic on the flatbread. We hope to have more time for dessert in the future. Def would come back again.

HIDDEN GEM! Food, service , ambience was a 10! Looking for a spot that gives you all this without a weekend wait-line! Try it out! Although if we had to wait it would have been worth it ! My daughter works in the area and frequents her lunches here, This is her 4th time bringing people for dinner. She raves about this place. Now I know why! It appears the week days are their busiest times since they are in the financial district. Dinner was amazing and it won't be long before the crowd discovers the quiet & quick amazing meal at night rocks!!!

I was eager to try a variety of tacos, though I was warned the tacos are quite small. It was a fair warning. I ordered 5 tacos, and expected to leave stuffed, but I was hungry again by 4:00pm. Eeeek. These are 3-bite tacos. Although small, I enjoyed the flavors of all the tacos I tasted. My favorites were the seafood varieties. 1) Baja fish - really crispy batter, creamy, spicy slaw 2) Yucatán shrimp - great texture, and spicy bean-like plantain puree. The pork belly was sweet, but a bit dry. In addition to the picked red onions, it could have used another saucy component. The carnitas and chorizo tacos were also good, but were less interesting for my palate. My five tacos were $20, without any sides or drinks. They have lots of shareable sides and appetizers, and I could easily drop a lot of $ filling up on their tasty bites while lingering in their lovely space.

The food was very good. Octopus - Octopus is my favorite meal, and this is one of the best examples I've ever had. Steak tips - cooked perfectly medium rare, overall dish great Oysters - shucked clean and fresh Chips and salsa were great, no notes. Lobster empanada - crispy on the outside, soft and creamy inside, very good Fish Tacos - good fish tacos, nothing earth shattering to write home about - paled in comparison to the tapas. Dole Whip - great Churros - very good, they were small donut things not the traditional long churros, the mezcal chocolate was great and the vanilla cream too.

The brussel sprouts were not good as it tasted like someone put an entire lemon on them. We went up to the hostess stand and were seated right away. Our server came by and was very friendly. However, as the night went on the service became quite slow. It took a lot of time for our food to come out and to get our to-go boxes as well. For a drink, I ordered the PINA-NO-LADA. It is basically a virgin pina colada. Very delicious and they added some nice cherries on top. For the food we shared: -CEVICHE: Great flavor and very fresh octopus. Went well with the tortilla chips it came with. -SHRIMP SCAMPI: The pasta was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp that were big and juicy. However, the sauce was overly acidic. There was way too much lemon in it. I do also wish they had more than just 4 shrimp on top of a $30 bowl of pasta. -BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Was good brussel sprouts. All in all, while the food was pretty good (with some hit or miss elements), it is such an expensive meal especially for the portion and service you are getting.

The salsa tasted like store bought salsa and we asked for spicy salsa and they brought Cholula. Boo. They came back a few minutes later snd said e could order spicy mango habanero salsa for an up-charge. We said no. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. There were 3 slices of peppers and 5 slices of onions as the vegetables. The steak was not seasoned and the beans tasted like canned beans. My wife ordered carnitas tacos. They were terrible. No flavor, super dry, and the corn tortillas were old and crumbly. Ambiance was TexMex with a bit of southern cali but the food tasted like Jim Bobs TexMex. They were trying to beat Bobby Flay and ended up beating themselves. We did complain about the food quality and NOTHING was done or suggested. The restaurant was empty so service was fast (maybe a little too fast) and friendly. I ordered takeout. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered 3 chicken tacos and one rajas taco. Plus chips and salsa and an order of rice and beans. They packaged everything up nicely - even with staples. When I got home, I was disappointed because they left out a chicken taco. I called to tell them but I was on hold forever and nobody picked up. The flavors of the food are good! The chicken tacos were better than the poblano one. At $6.50 for a specialty taco, it's kinda steep in my opinion. The chips tasted fresh and the salsas were flavorful. The full order was nearly $40 so around $20 per person. They have a lot of competition in the area with Bartaco being a five min walk away and lots more offerings, plus it might even be cheaper. They might want to consider specials for lunch/half off after work specials as this is essentially inside the Vertex building. Another option is adding cafecito and breakfast options. It has everything: 1) Expensive - I understand everything in Seaport is roughly 3x what it should cost, but if bartaco can manage a taco-shaped product for $4, what are we talking about? Especially considering: 2) Public nudity - You might think a chicken taco is not a list of ingredients. But in Tacos Chikis, it is. You have chicken and a tortilla. Onions? Cilantro? Taste? Never heard of it. And speaking of the tortilla: 3) Crimes - Serving this sad, limp tortilla should be illegal. If you're looking for a bright, airy restaurant, this isn't it. If you're looking for a place with personality, you'll probably love it. The stars of the meal were the Guacamole Fresco and the Griddled Cornbread. The guacamole was fresh, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. The cornbread was even better. Warm, buttery, slightly crisp on the outside, and soft in the middle. It sounds simple, but it was easily the most talked-about dish at our table. We also had the artichoke empanadas, mahi-mahi tacos, rock shrimp tacos, shrimp quesadilla, and mini churros. Everything was good, and the tacos were especially solid. Jaime took great care of us all night and struck that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. The cocktails were the only thing that didn't completely win me over. The sangria and Paloma were good, but the Abuelita's Espresso Martini is tequila-based rather than a traditional espresso martini. Not bad, just different than expected. Overall, I'd happily go back.
